The food was great, the server was great, the view was great, but the hostess seemed very annoyed when we asked to be seated by the windows when she wanted to seat us well away from them. There were 3 tables taken in the whole place. I don't appreciate being seated at a lousy table when there are clearly good tables available.

The casino is under construction so the buffet moved to two restaurants. The Veranda serves lunch and dinner. The room is like an old ballroom. The buffet is set up on two different sides of the ball. It is arranged with no rhyme or reason. The food its self had no flavor,, was dried out and seemed to have been stale, and cold. All of the food sounded like a good deal $24.00 for seafood, prime rib, pasta, salad and much more until you actually eat the food. Our server was nice but I ran into other patrons who felt the same way I did.

They used to be the place I looked forward to for the breakfast buffett, but now they're combining the general buffett. The food quality was not good. We felt that we should have driven to Mohegan Sun for their general buffett instead at Four Seasons.

I'm only giving two stars because my dish was terrible. Julie, our waitress was very nice. I didn't complain to her because I was hungry and dealt with eating half of the bbq brisket sandwich. It had no flavor at all. The Mac n cheese was plain! My husband had the $24. Buffet. He said it was okay. Julie was nice enough to offer me to get some food on the buffet and didn't charge me. I appreciated how sweet she was. Also the fries on my plate were Luke warm. I wouldnt return here. I'm surprised to see other good reviews.

Always a great meal here. This to.e we stopped for the breakfast buffet. What a deal for $15. Everything from fruit, oatmeal, eggs, omelette bar, etc. I have eaten dinner here in the past and the service and food are second to none. Forget all the other pricey places there, go to the Veranda!

Its service needs improvement. We have been going there for along time. It seemed to slowed down in every aspect. We still like it best of all the restaurants in Foxwoods. We can get breakfast anytime. Sometimes you do not eant a dinner. Sometimes you do and they carter to that. Choice of food better than most restaurants in there. We like it as one of our favorites.

Keep in mind that people have different tastes and standards.* Breakfast buffet is ordinary and basic, but the omelette station is amazing and the options endless! Everyone was very friendly and we had a good experience overall.

Went to Casino for Epic buffet.bit was closed. There were two choices to go to instead. Veranda was ok. I don't think they were prepared for Volume if people of variety of choices. Price was great, even tho I'm not 55 yet, we got lunch for half of price we we're expecting to pay. All in all, we would go back.

We we're happy to eat at Veranda Cafe before the remodeling of The Festival Buffet . Today was very disappointing ,We got breakfast sausage and half way through eating mine I noticed it was not cooked all the way it was still pink inside . Hopefully we don't get sick from under cooked pork . My husband got apple juice and it was very watered down .

We had breakfast there and had to wait in line for over 20 minutes just to get in due to the fact that they were grossly understaffed one woman with usher two people every few minutes to their tables for a linee of over 60 people..... The food was okay the waitress was very nice the only thing that was memorable was The omelette station we will not be visiting them again due to the fact that they treat their customers horribly while waiting in line... The hostess was actually semi rude when I asked her if they had anyone else there that could help to speed up the waiting line the dining room of course was more than half empty

Went here for the dinner buffet because the larger one is closed...should of just ate at the food court. You still pay a stupid high amount and it might as well be a Boston Market buffet, except the food doesnt taste as good as Boston Market. Most of it tastes like it was frozen and warmed up in the micro wave. Staff were super nice though, thats why they got 2 stars rather than 1.

Food is okay, but portion sizes are SMALL! Got the filet mignon, $32 and the size of a steak tip, seriously looked like 2-3oz TOPS! I seriously asked where the rest of it was. SKIP THIS PLACE!

I am completely disturbed. The only reason I came here was to eat a GOOD buffet. Instead I got mediocre food and a dirty cup with god knows what stuck to the inside of it. The server was nice but the wait was long and the food was not worth the $26 they charged for New Years Day. I would not recommend to come here for a good meal. Might as well go to Panera Bread.

We. Didn't want to take shuttle over to buffet at casino...so we thought we would just grab a quick bite at the hotel we were in....well what a GREAT decision that was! They had their own small buffet..with ALL fresh stuff...nothing that's been sitting out for 2 hours(like most buffets) fruit,eggs any style* AND omelets station,oatmeal to croissants and sausage bacon and grits also any kind of juice coffee and tea! And the price was VERY inexpensive! Definitely will come back here next time we are at foxwoods

I cannot believe that I actuallly paid to eat here. The buffet was absolutely awful, and shouldn’t even be open, there is a MASSIVE fruit fly infestation to the point of them flitting around your table, I can only imagine how bad the kitchen looks. The staff are walking around the place with filthy cloths in hand. The food is not held over ice, salad dressing, tarter sauce veggies for salad are all served from plastic bowls that are not kept cold. When you walk through foxwoods and see how nicely kept all of the restaurants and other parts are the property are kept nice and clean, you won’t believe the contrast. My parents were disgusted by the array of slop being served. Foxwoods should not be serving this buffet, it is violating all kinds of health standards. Please rethink your decision to keep running this buffet until your remodeling job is complete, and your food can be served safely to the public.

This is a hidden, reasonably priced, gem at the casino. Everything else in Foxwoods is going to cost an arm and a leg. However, this place is basically the casino diner so prices are "reasonable". I say that because it's still on the higher end of cheap ($18-20 for a salad). They have a bit of everything and it's delicious. I had one of the best Taco Salads I've had here.
