Great food. This Chinese buffet really does a great job. My only complaint is they seem to really delay bringing out more crab legs and when they do you can be sure that they will not bring enough and they will be gone withing a minute or two. Otherwise the food is very good. Definitely worth going!

Never have had a bad meal. I’m extremely picky about Chinese food as anytime I eat it from a random place I get sick. This place is the BEST. Hands down. If I can make the half hour drive there, I will. So worth it. The waitstaff could be nicer. But that’s my only complaint.

Such a great gem hidden in a random Torrington plaza. You absolutely can not beat the price. Excellent selection and consistently quality food. The staff is very polite and the place is very clean. It's family friendly and you can BYOB from the conviently located package store nextdoor.

This is a wonderful spot to go with a group! The selection is wonderful and I've never been disappointed by the food. The wait staff is also very friendly - one waitress even took a picture of my friends for them and they are very patient and don't tend to rush you to leave. All in all, coming to Torrington Super Buffet guarantees a pleasant dining experience.

Service was very poor. You can tell that the servers just wanted us to get our food and leave. We hadn't been close to finishing our meals when they had already put the bill down on the table, and came to check 3 separate times just to see if we had finished paying already. Food is decent, service not so much.

Got the at noon, felt that some of the rice dishes were not fresh. They had a stail flavor. Other were good & fresh. Of corse the out brakes of children being children.

Absolutely disgusted with the way i was treated. Asked why she touched the food with her hands and she tells me "be quiet" then i tell tue other woman what happend and she said i was lying and i need to leave. On top of all this it was $59 and change for 3 people, one of wich is my ten year old daughter who they told me i need toprove that shes under 11. This place sucks.

Very disappointed with this place last night. My husband and I have been here plenty of times before tonight. Most of the trays of food were empty or looked undercooked. The spinach puffs, which are usually very good, were doughy and soggy. The rib that I had tasted bad, so didn't eat it. Not sure if I would eat there again. I might give it another try, but doubt it.

Typical all you can eat Chinese buffet. They do have an Habachi grill. I recommend that. The rest of the food is just ok. They also have your normal sushi selection.

My boyfriend and I got here at 8:30 pm. We were in the middle of ordering our drinks when the owner came up to us and with an attitude said that the kitchen was closed and something or other. Could hardly understand her due to her VERY thick accent. I went over to the buffet part of the restaurant really quick just to see how much food was left. It wasn't much but decided to stay since the place we go to was closed for the night. And we were hungry. Up side was at least the food was hot. Or at least warm. And the food was more or less fresh. And was tasty. It's just I wasn't all that impressed. The atmosphere and the food was like every other Asian buffet place in CT. Would I come here again? Only if my usual go-to place was closed again. The downside was the attitude of some of the staff. That's why I'm rating this 3 stars. Maybe next time it will be better. If there is a next time.

Whenever I (we) come here we’re greeted by our usual server ling. They treat us with great respect and are always giving my daughter different kind of candies etc . If the service was that bad who would take time outta there day to do that?. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good Chinese buffet as it is a large one ! They have hibachi in there now as well

I went there last night for dinner with my sister, it was the worst meal I’ve ever eaten in my entire life! When I asked the waitress to come over and explain to her that the food was cold and old she went and got the manager, the manager said to me if you wanted hot food you should’ve ordered off the menu! I told her that it was not edible and that I had the waitress just throw it away, she got angry at me and said you wasted my food! !!!! She also said to me you drank your soda!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK

It's ok have had better food not hot but warm . I went for the crab legs and there were none. So towards the end they finally brought some out that were overcooked. The atmosphere in this location is terrible. The management is not in the store for weeks at a time according to the employees and the employees attitudes need improvement. They barely understand and clearly don't care. I had an issue with my server and asked to speak to the manager, the employee supposedly in charge at the moment said theres no manager, I don't care, and just get out. As a manager myself also of a food restaurant I would have to say that I couldn't believe it. This is not how customer service should be handled. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Service was beyond terrible. Will NOT be returning...

Buffet had a good selection but the quality and taste of the food seemed to be hit or miss. Sampled four plates worth so it wasn't bad! Should be something for everyone but as far as buffet food goes it was unremarkably average fare. The establishment did seem reasonably clean and the service was attentive to getting us seated, clearing plates and keeping refills coming.

This place used to be great, over the years it's gone down hill. Seafood literally tastes like it was boiled in hotdog water, I was there at lunch hoping for fresh food... my last time eating here. UPDATE: stopped in while in the area again, worse now than last time. Cold and soggy food, then they bring a small plates of fresh friend to us. Then the bill comes with STALE fortune cookies. Went here today with my GF and our Son. First time we've ever been here, and we were looking for a Chinese Buffet to try while we were down from Maine. I'm an extremely picky eater when it comes to Chinese food, so as normal, was very skeptical. Upon entering, the gentleman at the door was extremely polite and inviting. We got seated right off, and drinks were served within moments of sitting. All of the waitresses were extremely polite to us, and they just LOVED playing with our son while we were getting food. The food was extremely good, and way better than what I had expected. The Sweet n Sour sauce was the only thing I didn't care for at all on the Buffet. It was nearly flavorless, and not very sweet. Everything else made up for it. I tried everything from the fried foods, noodle plates, Sushi, and Lo-Mein bar. It was all great (yes, I had small portions of each, as I'm not a big guy, but wanted to try it all.) We were over all extremely pleased, and will be making a trip here everytime we come to Torrington CT now. Great job Torrington Super Buffet, you've just earned 2 more customers.

Grew up eating here and I'm watching it turn into a dump. I had 3 people tell me they found roaches in their food. I went today because I always remeber it being clean. The food was very dried out and they had a new waitress that was VERY RUDE. Hovering around my table begging for a tip. When I was done with my meal she slammed down a try and said you put money here. I paid the dinner price of $14 which went up and they used to have crab which they don't now; raise the prices take away the crab and cheese sticks pizza and other things you used to get on the Buffett. I paid with $20 she gave me back $2 in change and took my receipt. Then demanded I tip her. "You put tip on tray" "I get tip" Hmm I didn't get water when I wanted a refill and had to wait until the end of the meal. Plus she was beyond rude for no reason and shorted me my change. No thanks. Plenty of other QUALITY food options in town. Over salted dried out MSG. Compared to all the great Italian cooks we have in this town does not compare. I'll take my time and my money and go some where else.

As far as Asian buffets go, this is certainly one of the better ones. Some of the things that make it better include made-to-order stir fry, carved roast beef, Alaskan crab legs, BBQ spareribs and 5 different kinds of ice cream.
