French food here - yummy. Visited Fri evening I think. Looking forward to coming back with my coworkers. Prices were fair for the quality of the food.

Thomas Henkelmann delivered wonderful service and delicious food. We began with wine and cocktails on the porch during sunset. The drinks were tasty (and very reasonably priced). We were taken to the dining room after drinks, where we continued to have great service. We started with lobster bisque and tomato soup with semolina dumplings. For our entrees we enjoyed the all natural prime sirloin (with pommes pout-neuf, onion compote, glazed baby carrots and haricots verts and sauce béarnaise) and the crispy Long Island duck (with pommes croquette, poached apple, cranberries, baby vegetables and a duck cranberry sauce). All our dishes were incredible and there was a perfect amount of time between dishes. Highly recommended for great food and a great experience!

I have been to many michelin starred restaurants that I have enjoyed less. everything that my guest and I ordered here was superb. the lobster risotto was the best risotto i have ever had.

Superbe quality of food and service. A magnificent evening. A great chef like Thomas Henkelmann really knows how to bring out the best of quality ingredients. Whether the lobster bisque or the sea bass in champagne sauce cooked to perfection. This is a star chef who is actually present and actually does the cooking. The attentive service of the waiters and a trustworthy sommelier helped make this a memorable experience.

What a wonderful restaurant! From the moment you arrive you are made to feel beyond welcomed. Staff attentive and friendly. We sat on the sunlit porch overlooking the garden. The dining room patrons were dressed well and snazzy. The food was impressive. I had a pastry wrapped lobster appetizer that was excellent. The prime sirloin was tasty although my request for med rare plus became medium upon serving. A small faux pas when perfection was abound. Fun! Friendly! Delicious!

Cocktail hour insufficient. Party of 20 was only allowed 2 choices for entrees. Host of the party was given the wrong entree and not permitted to change it. Most of the appetizers and cocktail choices were fish. Not all guests prefer fish. So little choice!! Disappointing. Would not recommend.

We've been here many times.EVERY TIME is a time to remember! Here is a review from August 12, 2016. We rolled into the parking lot and the Valet greeted us very cheerily. We whisked ourselves out of the 98° humidity into the vestibule and I darted to the bar while Joe approached the maître d'. We settled in the cool bar and thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with the 17 year veteran, Astley, who has become our friend. He is the most jovial, upbeat, sophisticated bartender we know. We decided on a bottle of the house champagne to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary. He quickly uncovered it was our anniversary and the conversation flowed from there to topics like celebrities and City Island and Jamaica and living in the Bronx. After a bubbly bottle of champagne we moved along to our dinner. After fussing a bit with where to be seated we were pleasantly happy about being seated in the porch area -- in fact the same table as last time. Of course our appetizers were perfectly cooked and presented. The sun was setting so we peered out the window every so often for the sunset view of the eastern sky. Our waiter was super friendly and knowledgeable though I don't recall him ever telling us his name. Our entrées were presented perfectly and delicious and fresh. There was no room for dessert and after we asked for the check we were pleasantly surprised by our waiter bringing us a dessert plate with a candle and happy anniversary greeting. We chatted about life together and how fortunate it was that we randomly met the night we met.
