They have a huge variety in the buffet and food was ok. The staff was good and before removing the stuff from buffet table they checked with us couple to times. So good job on customer satisfaction.

I've been going there for four years and it is always excellent food. The food is fresh and delicious. I often go to the lunch buffet and they always have different foods. The staff are professional and friendly. Great place!

One of the best indian restaurant in Connecticut. Buffet is amazing with around 22 options over the weekend. chicken tikka masala is a hit. They cater on all occasions all over the state. Nice jazz music too on friday evenings.

We have dined frequently at Mumbai Times and it’s a favorite for my kids. Our last visit was terrible. When we went for lunch, the person at reception seemed very flustered. The whole place was practically empty and yet he suggested that we sit in the foyer area where he would set up a table for us. We were very perplexed. His manner was also brusque and rude. My wife was so upset that she walked out right then and of course we all left left. I am sad to post this as it used to be a favorite place for us. Even the waiters were quite nice. This new person seems to be a disaster. Anyway, we aren’t going back.

Mumbai offers a wide range of excellent Indian food in an inviting setting that is a tasteful mix of mostly modern and some traditional decor. The interesting art, lighting and decorating touches gives it a unique feel. The service is exceptional - friendly and very attentive.

The buffet was very reasonably priced and has the main dishes you would expect. The curries were medium spicy. The lamb was tender and went well with the basmati rice and the garlic naan. The tandoori chicken was great too. Service was attentive and warm.

Went for the lunch buffet the other day and was very impressed. If you tend to associate "buffet" with "greasy" and "mystery ingredients", you are in for a surprise. To my palate, the food was very tasty with just the right amount of spiciness. Everything I tried led me to believe that someone really put some effort and knowledge in cooking that food so to make it a pleasant experience. Will go back soon!

Awesome restaurant...great food. The lunch buffet has a good variety of delicious food. The service is impeccable and friendly. We were there until way past 3pm. We were informed that the buffet would be removed soon. Loaded up and were there til well past 3pm. The other review claiming food was removed is nonsense. Maybe a competitor. Been to Mumbai Times several times. GREAT PLACE!!! JUST GO THERE!!!! I'll see you on 7/31!!!!

Always love this place. Great food, awesome service. The buffet is removed at 3pm and the staff reminds you at 2.30 and 2.45 with a very last call at 2.55. Everytime I'm in Westport, I'm also at Mumbai Times!!!

Nice place, very good hospity. Awesome food.!! We were a party of 12 including kids and elderly people, reserved a table around 9:15 pm (where their closing time was (10-10:30 pm) yet the food we order was so delicious and we were never rushed off , staff attented us nicely and calmly . Quality of food was not sacraficed even at those closing hours and a large order was handled very well. We are really glad we visited the Mumbai Times.!

We arrived at this place early evening, while some people were having dinner in the patio area of the restaurant. We requested for a seating in the patio, the manager of the restaurant lied to us saying it’s reserved. Later we noticed no one arrived at the patio even till the time we left. The service was too slow they took like forever to get the food and drinks . We ordered mangorita and ultimate margarita, which were quite average. I liked their chicken kebab platter, but the Mumbai chat ragra pattis was disappointing. For the main course we ordered chicken balti and chettinad chicken, the chettinad was very high on clove and was not at all like the chettinad served in india. Overall the experience was just time consuming and not at all value for the money.

Worst experience ever. Servers abruptly removed all the food items at 2:55 pm without notice to customers. It was mentioned that lunch buffet will be available from 12:00 pm noon to 3:00 pm on weekends. We(Family) planned early, but due to traffic, we reached only at 2 pm. We started the lunch immediately once reached. Even if it is the timely buffet they may not allow the new customers but they supposed to keep serve the items until the entered buffet customers leave the restaurant. They removed all the items abruptly without notice. Wen I go to take the items at 2:55, servers said, buffet was closed and all the items were removed out of the buffet. They may not refill it, but they suppose to keep the items in buffet until customers leave the restaurant. Wasted my money.. worst experience with family. Never recommend.

Awesome food as always . This is our favourite Indian Restaurant of it's kind i.e. North Indian Food in CT. We love the service and the ability to customize our food . The manager is always open t feedback and love the grated paneer , khadi pakoda and the peshawari naans. I have never had a so-so dish out there and the service is fantastic !!!

Food here is good.I have visited for buffet around 4 times.All the 4 times there is not even a veg friend rice or biryani for me.I just ate the plain rice.The non vegetarian items are more and vegetarian dishes are very less ,which made me not to visit there any more.
