Went in for lunch with a co-worker, place looks great. That's the only good thing about it. Food was cold inside and out. Told workers we weren't going to eat it and they said to "stir" the food. Yea, stirring it would make the actual inside of food hot. This was absolutely disgusting and the service is horrible. MADE US PAY FULL PRICE STILL. Unbelievable. On way to walk in due to stomach hurting. Great. Thanks Buffet Palace for ruining my insides.

Very good Chinese buffet. Not a huge dessert section. Clean. The hibachi section is only open Friday-Sunday. Prices went up $1 to 12.99 for adults. Still worth it. Wish the shushi was labeled along with the ice cream

So me and my mom went here one day recently for dinner Well... we got there and the food was very cold and bland. The sushi smelled absolutely terrible the only good things there was the donuts (obviously.). the staff is a little rude they have a hard time understanding English so I had to speak a little mandarin so they could understand us better We both absolutely hated the food my mom was super unhappy not returning for a long time

Some of the food is good but some of it is just cold and doesn’t even look fresh like for example the crabs are not even fresh they look like that have been sitting in the tray for days and the meat looks dark. I would recommend you guys to come here early when the food is actually fresh but other than that the service is kinda good.

The food wasn't great. The sushi did not look all that fresh so I stuck with the California Rolls. Most of the food was cold and the buffet just felt like it was lacking something. Tasted and spit out quite a few things. 11.99for each dinner plate and about 2 bucks for a soda. Approx. $30 for 2. Staff was friendly but the place was empty. Went around 5pm on a Thursday so that was great. Decent atmosphere but a bit further down the post road is a better buffet.

Terrible Food. It was all cold and nasty. The noodles were hard and the chicken was old. Had to go to the bathroom immediately afterwards. Tried to talk to the manager but she just kept arguing with us that they never get these conplaints and since we ate something we had to pay the full bill. Worst Food I have ever eaten! This was the nastiest place I have ever eaten in my entire life. I wouldn’t recommend this place if it was the last place on earth. This place needs to be shut down immediately. A group of friends & I ate here & we found 2 strans of long white hair IN THE ICECREAM. Don’t know how that’s even possible but yet this place proved me wrong again & again. Complete waste of money & the lady serving our table would not leave our table without us paying IMMEDIATELY. Awful, just awful.

Great Food, Great Price, Great Staff, and Mediocre Bathrooms. Totally worth the $12 for everything you need at a buffet. They had some of the best Lo Mein I have had. Miso Soup was very good. Hibachi food was exceptionally Great. It will fill you up fast. Some of my relatives did get sick after they ate the food there it all depends. If you are looking for cheap all you can eat food you will like this place some of the food is very fresh!

Decent buffet if you aren't too picky. When we went prices were: Adults $11.99 & Kids $5.99 (unfortunately, I don't remember the Senior price). Pretty much the usual Japanese and Chinese mix of dishes. They have a lot of seafood dishes like oysters, crab, almost all the different shellfish and sushi. There is also a Mongolian grill which is nice too. My only disappointment is they are lacking a wider variety of desserts. They have your usual fruit, but would like to see a bit more.

The food is good but I feel like they rush you to finish your food and even give you the tab without you asking this way you can leave. The server also stood right in front of me kind made feel like I was being rushed.....I had just eaten two plates.

I’m from out of town and went by myself on a Saturday night around 7:00. The host gives you just a fork, no knife, no spoon. The salad section had just a little iceberg lettuce, in large pieces, in a tray of water. (A knife would have been handy) Very few veggies to put in a salad. Just cucumbers and tomatoes. No carrots, broccoli, radishes, peppers, etc, or croutons. The food selection was 50% seafood. I ask the server for a Diet Coke. It comes in a glass that says Pepsi. Never mentioned “is Pepsi OK?” The place wasn’t busy when I arrived, but after I started eating, a very large group swarmed the place. Literally, a bus load of people. I was going to get more food, but couldn’t get near it. People were backed up at every station. Then, three different people from the group tried to sit at the table with me. What? I don’t want to have dinner with some stranger. After the third person attempted to join me at my table, and the people at the food were still two people deep, I decided to skip any more food, and get dessert. The dessert options were slim.... a few cookies and cakes, and ice cream. I got a dish of ice cream, forgetting that all I had was a fork. I see a work station (actually just a table off to the side) with flatware. I figure there must be a container of spoons. Nope, at least 200 forks, and no knives. I managed to find a spoon among all the forks. I ate my ice cream, paid my check and left.

I enjoyed most of the food everything was great besides the rice and Mac and cheese. The rice was cold and the Mac and cheese didn't taste good. I went right after dinner was starting around 3:50pm and dinner start at 3:30pm.

This place has horrible service. Avoid at all cost. Found roach head in rice. When prompted the staff they just removed the head from tray and left the tray. Looks good on outside but service and food are trash. I would rate this lower then a 1 star.

I have been coming here since the new owners took over. The food is good, the rolls are many varieties with good flavor. Soda/water comes in a full size cup. This is not an authentic Chineses/Japanese restaurant. It's a buffet for $12. For what it is, it's very good.

So I decided to bring my family in today for Father's Day and we got in line at the hibachi. FYI the price was higher today for the holiday. When we got to the grill the man was being rude when we tried to explain what sauces we would like. While waiting he told us we had to put tip and we all didn't have cash. Some of us put some bills but he was mad we all didn't have any. Worse of all he messed up the sauce and plates wrong and we told him and he just argued and we left. We inform the front about the situation but did nothing to resolve the problem and we ended up not eating our food just buffet. Management needs to fix this

When getting ice cream there was 1 scooper that was running over water and was not being cleaned otherwise. Self scooping. Has signs labeling where different foods are ex. entrees, sweets.

Most of my food was room temperature and made me sick, keep reading. I must've eaten here 5 or 6 times in my young life, and I swear it's a vicious cycle. I come, eat, and immediately regret it because of how nauseated and sick I am afterwards. I tell myself, never again. Then I visit the mall, whether with friends or family, someone gets hungry, and I remind them there's a buffet downstairs. I forget how terrible it was last time. I forget the horrors of the past I endured. In my hubris, I turn blind to atrocities of yesterday, the hopeful within wishes for a world where my children may enjoy the broccoli and beef while it's hotter than room temperature. But such is the plight of man. I went in hoping for the best, I downed a plate of cold octopus salad and cheese on top of practically frozen spinach, snatched a cold chicken wing, and went to "enjoy" my meal at my table. I bite into it and immediately think "wow that's cold". I ask my brother if it was safe to eat, he gave me a shrug, and with my 20 year old stomach of steel I took another bite. At that point I was starving, and I thought to myself, I've eaten worse. I (stupidly) decide to try my luck with the crabs (my ecological biology professor thinks they're rock crabs), and to my amazement, they're stone cold. They're just covered in dirt, or some black soot just pasted onto the shell. Service was great, asked someone for a claw cracker and she was quick, but god did I regret it. The crab tasted putrid, like someone hucked the little mermaid into the back of a truck after they finished filming in 1989. I tried the crayfish, which were luckily hot and most were killed by boiling. I scarfed down a few more (regrettable) plates after that, 90% of which were cold. As I left, I grabbed a mint, and they guy at the front (with headphones on staring at a phone) gives me a glare. I don't know if it's because I'm brown, but his stare told me "get the hell out". I immediately threw it back and my brother and I skedaddled. Sure, I filled my stomach before watching spider man: far from home, but I lost more than just $24 plus tax and tip. I lost my dignity. My humanity. Whatever skewed morals I had walking in did not come out with me. I'm ashamed of what I am now. Take the advice I know I'll forget in due time. I personally would never eat here again, not if it's $11.99, $5.99, or free. Hell, I'd stay away even if they paid me to eat here. If they're willing to pay for medication I need after contracting a methicillin resistant super bug from the BBQ chicken, I might reconsider.

THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!! please people do not waste your time or your money with this place . I went with my girlfriend and the food was absolutely disgusting and to top it off cold. The rice was hard, the sushi was of low quality, the dumpling was bad and the fried fish was beyond disgusting. As soon as I took a bite I threw it out. And when I spoke to the manager he was absolutely unapologetic. Said we still had to pay for our food and only offered to give us 20% off our bills. We asked for the owner and at first claimed that the owner was not there but later said that the owner was there but yet we were unable to speak with the owner. I have never dealt with such bad business before. This place should not be allowed to do business at all.

Don't normally post a negative review, but the food is cold to luke warm. Anyone who works in the industry will tell you that is a no-no. Hot hold food should be held in the 160 degree range. This establishment is dangerous. Food sitting between 41-140 degrees is a breeding ground for food-born illness causing bacteria...

Eh. I wasn't that wowed by this place. It looks nice, but it's usually busy. The other people by the food section are so focused on the food that they don't have a clue as to where they're going, and some can be pretty rude. Some idiot even ATE SOME OF THE FOOD by the food counter! Some of the food was alright, but nothing special. The food was like any other food you'd find at other restaurants. My brother had ice cream, but they were out of spoons, and the ice cream had flat out ice chunks in it. Overall, this was a just below mediocre experience for me and my family.

The food selection is good, it is not bad, however, we found a hair in the food 2-3 times on separate occasions and so did a relative of my friend on a separate occasion. The lady at the front (I think she may be owner) was rude. She spoke broken English and was difficult to understand. We walked in before dinner items were changed out. I understood her saying that we could not to eat certain things because they were for dinner only, not lunch, or we’d be charged dinner price. She asked if that was ok. I said yes. When I went to pay, we were charged for 3 dinners. I explained that we did not eat the items she told us about. She said no, she asked if it was ok to charge us for dinner because the time was so close. We could eat anything we want now, she didn’t care. NOT GOOD BUSINESS. For the cost of a couple of dollars, she lost a repeat customer!

They will push your bill on you on your second trip to the food. Refreshments have an undesirable taste. Suggeted tips for the Waitresses services is to high they do nothing for it, apparently it seems they are trained to push clients off the tables quick. Their english language is very limited. Based on their rushing you out, prices should be lowered.

This nice quaint buffet restaurant is in the Connecticut Post (Milford) Mall. It has lots of great selections to choose from and everything you like. The best time to go is early evening while it's the freshest. There are some choices that you won't find at the other local buffets which makes that nice because there are different things to eat there. I mixed the Hibachi fried rice with some peanuts and vegetables and shrimp to make a really tasty dish.
