That Breakfast Place restaurant is a great place to go for both breakfast and lunch. The staff are friendly, the food is constantly awesome. The weekly specials offers a variety of menu items. Weekends tend to be filled with highly energetic local regular patrons, and college students; but well worth the wait for a table. If your in the area, check them out. I definitely would recommend, That Breakfast Place.

Great pancakes and well cooked eggs and home fries. I tried one of their specials the Baked Pancake Casserole and while it tasted amazing I couldn't finish it's definitely a shareable plate. All in all it's a great breakfast joint for that lazy weekend morning when no one wants to cook. Although beware going at those time you can expect a wait of around 5-15 minutes.

Great restaurant. I live near by and usually come here when I'm craving a nice breakfast since I'm not a breakfast person. Definitely recommend it, yet sometimes they do forget one last cup of coffee, which I can't complain about since they do get busy. Overall I love this place.

I have eaten here on several occasions and have never had such a horrible experience. While they were friendly and greeted us upon entry and the service was "quick".. they were sloppy. Our food was thrown on the table out of no where, The eggs in the omelet were visibly under cooked, never offered a refill on coffee.. not even a how is everything.. our waitress walked by our table a dozen times but was in too much of a "rush" and barely acknowledged we were there... I would like to say I'll be back. But I won't. Its unfortunate too because there aren't many good breakfast places around.

Absolutely wonderful place. It is usually heavily crouded as a heads up so if you do not like a lot of people or loud places this is not for you. They have phenomenal tasting food and daily changing breads to choose from. The staff are wonderful and the prices are not bad. They have a "bar" like setting as well as tables and booths. This is a great place for breakfast (I have not gone for lunch yet) but I would most definitely reccomend this to anybody!

We go here all the time. The food is always top notch. There's often a short wait, because it's so good, but they get through it quickly. Get the pork pie or corned beef hash, both made deliciously in house.

Wait wasn't long, especially for a Sunday afternoon. Staff is very quick to help and friendly. Food was soo good. So many choices from their menu. Coffee is great with free refills. Biscuits and sausage gravy with two eggs, home fries, and a side of corned beef hash. Very tasty and well priced. Definitely going back when I can, quaint and homey, and clean. Definitely recommended.

This was our first time here and we'll definitely be back. They have plenty of parking however the lot was full so street parking it was, there was a wait and we gathered there always is but they move tables quickly so be patient and the food is well worth it. It is on the smaller side so if you have a group it may be tough. The service was outstanding and food to die for. I got the breakfast quesadilla with home fries smothered in onions and was not disappointed! Their specials menu changes weekly and looked delicious. They have homemade breads that also looked heavenly and based on the conversation around us were quite good. Definitely a must try if you're in the area!

I love this place. I had to update my stars from four to five after I realized you can get an omelette as a scramble—so instead of thin diner-style omelettes which aren't my favorite, I can get what's basically a fluffy omelette with the fillings on top. PERFECT. Their home fries are delicious, they make hash browns which my toddler loves, and every single person we've interacted with has been friendly and eager to please. The one thing I wish would change is to stay open until two so I don't feel bad coming in after my kid gets out of preschool!!

The Belgian Waffle with fresh fruit has changed my life for the better. I used to live five minutes from this place and the waffle helped me through many hard times as an undergrad at ECSU. Now that I've moved out of state, anytime I come back to visit eastern CT this is one spot I know I have to visit.

Excellent omelets. My favorite is the meat lover's and you may also try their home fried potatos as a side and add a side of hash. They have it going on. Huge portions and small to average prices. If you leave hungry, there is something wrong and you should see a doctor.

Nice surprise found for me by "Hey Google" looking for a breakfast place, but it was incredibly busy July 4th at about 10:30am--servers running around like headless chickens. I did get a good booth, an excellent Chocolate Coconut flavored coffee, slice of tortiere that was definitely not my Grandmere's Canadian pork pie, it's crust was funny-tasting and had obviously been in the microwave a tad too long, the filling kinda bland, but basically edible. The fruit cup I ordered came in a bowl, and was beautiful, fresh and delicious. I'll definitely give it a try on a non-holiday morning. *** I gave them another try this morning and had that great flavored coffee again along with a perfect pancake smothered with delicious mixed berry topping--I wanted to lick the plate! A side of bacon was cooked just the way I like it, a little bit side with lots do crisp edges. Good job! I'll be back again!

I got a blt with fries today and when I received my food the fries were cold and hard and the bread on my sandwich was stale and rock hard to the point where I cut the roof of my mouth and my tongue. The whole dish was disgusting and the sandwich was tiny for 14$. I will never be returning here ever again.

One of my favorite places to eat breakfast and the closest thing to a diner I can find in CT (being from NJ originally). Great portions and creative options to choose from as well as the old standbys. Only downside is that it is a bit small and during busy hours you'll probably have to wait, but it is worth it!

Been here a couple times and this place doesn't disappoint. Specials can be pricey, but you get a big portion and it is amazing! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. It does get busy, but they have a waiting area and a system that works well for getting you to a table as quickly as possible.

This cozy place just off the main downtown path of Willimantic is a hidden gem. The staff is warm and welcoming, lots of parking, and the food is to die for. I had at least half a dozen options to make my decision from, but I settled on the Apple Crisp Belgian Waffle. (The Nutella pancakes were a close second). We'll definitely be back, see you there!

Love it, great little breakfast place, can get busy though but that just shows its good food and popular with the locals. They come up with some great weekly specials and have fantastic home made breads you can also choose from to have with your breakfast. Oh and one last awesome thing about this hidden gem .... it has a man vs food size breakfast change you can try. Go ahead give it a go and be braver than me, haha.

Always my fav breakfast place since I was freshman at Uconn. Convenient location and kindly service. They have special coming out every week. Gotta give it a try. Usually no wait even if they do, it only takes 5-10 mins. Overall it's a great place to hang with friends at early morning.
