I heard so many good things about this place, I had to check it out! It was well worth every dime!! It's a rather casual and intimate atmosphere! Very clean bar and visually appealing! The bartender and servers were very helpful and polite! I started with a Strawberry Mojito which was delicious! We started with the sweet and spicy wings. General Tso's on side and Buffalo on the other. The chicken was boneless, tender and full of flavor! Fried to perfection I may add. My bf had Lobster Bisque..we shared everything! The bisque had the perfect amount of sherry, creamy and delicious. The only complaint is the lack of lobster in the bisque. As our entrees we had Seafood pot pie and London Broil w/sides! Both great choices. We order half order of pot pit and full of London broil. Delicious! Plenty of seafood, tender, fresh, buttery and seasoned to perfection! London broil was cooked just to my specifications and the glaze and mushrooms were phenomenal. Great portions! Even the mashed potatoes, rice pilaf and salad were tasty!! Over all a great place with amazing food!! Only issue is I had to have them reheat my meal it was not served as hot as it should have been! Otherwise great experience!! We will be back!!

EXCELLENT FOOD and Large Portions! All the food is super fresh and very tasty! The salads are awesome! You can build your own salads so it's perfect with all your own choices. The gulf shrimp are huge & grilled to perfection. My husband loves mussels and theirs are cooked to perfection with a tasty garlic broth. The veggie wraps are absolutely delicious! Extremely fresh, perfectly grilled & crispy. The homemade potatoe chips are great & very addictive! They come out hot & crispy. The staff is very nice & kind, and their Chef is Super! Everything he makes is just mouth watering! My son ordered a seafood pie. It was loaded with large pieces of lobster, shrimp, & scallops!. I was very impressed with that dish. All the prices are Very reasonable and you get plenty of food. Me and my husband are never able to finish everything, so we always have takeouts.

This was a very enjoyable experience. I came here with my dog, and was seated immediately, and was offered water for my family and also my dog. The drinks came within a minute and our order was taken. Staff was very kind and service was very speedy.

We had lunch at the outside dining area. It was nice. Our server was very accommodating. The food was delicious. Loved their salad menu. There is a salad ordering paper. You pick your lettuce, then all your toppings. It comes made just the way you order it. With fresh mozzarella.

Very busy and loud at lunch usually. Food is average, sometimes greasy but this is a decent option for business lunches, especially if you get to sit on the patio outside.

Pretty average, as expected. Generally, everything is pretty salty and heavy handed with sauce. Side salad was laughable, and waffle fries were super salty. The chicken in the Tuscan chicken sandwich was well cooked and tender, though it was overdressed. My friend had the veggie burger, and she said it didn’t leave much of an impression. Just an average place to come if you run out of options.

Expensive place, but the meatloaf and fish and chips I had were very good. I prefer my meatloaf a bit more firm but the meatloaf tasted like it was made out of very fresh ingredients. The fish and chips were cooked what I consider perfectly. The fish battered and fried to a nice firm crisp shell with the juicy fish beneath. And the chips/waffle fries were nice and firm as well, albeit with no seasoning, but that's common sadly. I can't vouch for the service yet, only because the two times I've been i was with a regular that they know not only his name but his order. So I'm reserving judgement on the service for later.

Had my Avengers Endgame pre-show meal here. Service was little slow, but worth the wait. Couldn't get the bartender's attention after ny first drink, maybe next time! Great appetizers. Worth further exploration.

The pint is NOT a pint! It's only 12 ounces! Hello- talk about robbery! Next time order a 12 ounce beer and pour it in their "pint" glass! It barely fits- when we brought this to the staff's attention we were told we were being difficult! Wow- Sorry I'm not thrilled to know you are short changing me of what I ordered and paid for? Honestly with so many places to eat why bother with this place. They're rude, and dishonest. Hated it.

Had a thai peanut chicken wrap here, which was nice. However, there was a price advertising issue. The menu, both outside the restaurant, on the printed copies, and on the website, states a burger price at $9. A staff member informed me that this was a 'misprint' and that they are actually more expensive (I forget exactly how much, maybe $2 extra). This is a pretty widespread misprint, which leads me to assume that this might be a deliberate tactic to prey on people's tendency to commit to a decision to order something, even after a small price increase. This should be changed.

Was in town on business, a co-worker mention the Temple Grill since I was staying at The Omni Hotel, well I'm glad he did. Nice menu, good food, good taste. Staff was friendly. My server Amanda was excellent, friendly and sociable. I definitely will be back when I am in New Haven.

I went here as part of the Crawl of Thrones Bar Crawl 2019, I never heard of the place and we were very pleasantly surprised. The variety of offers on the menu, the portions, and quality were fantastic. Good size bar, small intimate but casual dining space and an outdoor patio area that was very taken care of, prices were $$ and worth it. Waitresses and bar tender were very helpful and attentive. Can't wait to go back and try out some cocktails next time!

Barkeep Jennifer was awesome helping us out when a tour meeting nearby was cancelled and we did not get the email. She reached the tour guy on the phone for us so we could find out what happened. We enjoyed a couple of beers while we were there. Friendly good service. Recommended.

It’s just your average bar / tavern type restaurant. The hamburger I got was good but not great. The service was very slow and when we were there , there were only a total of about 6 people in the restaurant. The coors light that they served me had an expiration date that was a month old. The outside patio is very dingy and dirty. Definitely won’t be back.

Not a good experience. We waited one hour to be served and it was half empty, they lost the ordination. But more important this is not a restaurant but rather a self service, you choose ingredients they mix them. They don't have enough ready plates to be called restaurant. Expensive for what they give.

the food is good, but the service is ridiculously slow and not attentive in the least. I sat at the bar with a napkin on my plate and an empty drink trying to get the check for 20 minutes. Finally when i put my coat on to walk out, the bartender asks if I want the check.

Brought my 5 year old here at lunch time today. They sat us immediately in a heated outdoor section and took our order quickly. The waitress (Kellie) was nice and attentive, even though the place filled up quickly. My daughter had chicken fingers and french fries, which was a large plate, while I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries. The food was very good and cost was reasonable. I was very happy with this place and will return next time we are in New Haven. My daughter loved it too.

This place has excellent food and a 2008 playlist that any millennial will be unable to resist bopping to but the real gem of this place is the bartender.....holy hell!!!! Dude is a master of his craft and knows how to really make amazing drinks. My favorite versions of a few drinks are made by this gift to earth. Literally try him with anything, hell knock your socks off. I'm never in New Haven but heard about him and had to see it for myself....honestly thought I'd only be able to get that level of drink at one of those decrepit Italian clubs on the jersey coast, but here we are !!! Needless to say I can't stop recommending this place. Only caveat I'll add is that this place is definitely not a club, so don't expect dancing. Great spot to start or end a night when you're trying to kick up or wind down !

I love this place. Great to go to for a "Not to fancy " meal and still a bit of a treat. Portions are big, so be prepared for leftovers, although tempting to eat all at once. Homemade chips while reading the menu is also a very nice touch.
