My first dining experience here. The food is wonderful but for some reason a Wednesday evening they were very slammed. We waited 20-30 minutes before our waitress took our drink orders and food order. The staff was very friendly and apologetic about the wait. A party who showed up after us got their drinks and food before us. I probably would have indulged in another glass of wine but it was getting to long of a wait.

This was the best dining experience we’ve had in Atlanta! The food was outstanding. We had a steak salad and a salmon salad. The pieces of meat and fish were very moist and juicy, as well as flavorful. The servers were cooking right there, and the food came out quickly. Our waiter was super courteous and professional. My daughter was with us, and they made it so easy for us.

I love Ted's! They have a gluten-free menu and are very willing to alter things for other dietary restrictions. I've been there for lunch during a Whole 30 and found a great burger and compliant kale salad. The decor is Western-pub vibe. Booths with tall walls that provide privacy and coziness, but there are also tables out in the open. The tables have Montana-Wyoming maps printed on brown paper, and the ceiling is covered with dark tile. The servers are friendly and helpful. Mine have always been familiar with the menu and had favorites to suggest. They are quick to notice when your glass is low and bring refills before your drink runs out. They offer a nice variety of burgers. You can get turkey, beef, or bison. There is also a veggie burger, but I've never tried it. The bison is juicy and cooked to order. They also have chicken, steak, ribs, and meatloaf. The fries and onion rings are hand cut and delicious, well seasoned and crispy. I've never had a dessert there, though they offer a few, but their flavored lemonades are delish.

Ted's is a great spot for upscale burgers. I LOVE that they have bison, which is both healthier than beef and has a better flavor (in my opinion). The onion rings are also incredibly good. The service was also friendly and responsive. The ambiance is also neat with an old-school 1920's feel. In my view, either this place or Grub Burgers is probably the best in Atlanta. The only negative in my view (and possibly the reason why I think Grub is better) is the average burger is about $17(!) here. So for the price, it better be good! Still, if you're looking for an upscale delicious American meal this is a good candidate.

The chili here is amazing and it’s awesome that you get as many free pickles as you want but they are unable to cook burgers to order (experienced each time I’ve gone). During my most recent visit they attempted to make my burger 3 times. (For reference I ordered my burger rare) the first burger was medium well, the second burger was completely uncooked (beef tartar-inedible), and the third burger was medium well. By the third burger my lunch was now free but I was so full that I had to take it home with me.

The food is good if they can get your order right. I've been getting a Delmonico for years and to have a New York strip brought instead and to be told it's Delmonico is a bit discerning this happened on two occasions in a row. The second time they were even told that previous visit . This location also sometimes has a hard time bringing gluten free food that I've ordered when they've been told it's an allergy. Staff is friendly. And they definitely try to make up for their mistakes. I just wish they would get the food order right.

Everything was okay. Was upset because we sat 15 mins (no exaggeration) and no one ever came to the table. We got up and went to the bar and was serviced well. My sides came out cold but the friendly bartenders replaced it. Food was okay. It was convenient for us since is was RIGHT across the street from the Dave Chappelle comedy show that evening. I’m guessing I had higher expectations for this place. The bar staff was nice. It was A female and 2 males. Can’t remember their names

Service was amazing, fast, and we had a friendly waiter. Food was amazing! I had a bison burger, I recommend this to anyone who doesn’t want to step too far out of their comfort zone but also wants to try something new. The only trouble we had was the hostess, as she was seating us she threw the menu on the table. I’ve had troubling days in customer service so I understand that it was probably a long day but don’t let it show! I 10/10 recommend this restaurant!

Staff and service were under par along with attention to detail that we are accustom to at Ted's in NC, MT, CO, and even Alpharetta GA. Food was good but service was not at its best. Everyone was nice and pleasant for the most part, but when you have to flag down someone to bring out silverware to the entire table after the food starts to come along with drinks not getting refilled then you don't feel appreciated. Maybe a bad night but overall service could have been a lot better.

Went there with a group and a lot of the service was just bad and the food was way undercook. Salmon was undercook which should never be, 2 of the steaks we order that were ordered as medium came out raw. Manager seemed upset to be bothered to have to come out to our table. Horrendous experience with reservation. We had a reservation which was confirmed 3x...when we called to see if we could move it up an hour, they said "no problem" but when we got there they didn't have the moved up reservation and our original one was now at a later time with less people. They thought we had called a different location but we confirmed the phone number and people we had spoken with. Anyway, reservation nightmare with 5 hungry small children = not fun. Food was good though. Took forever to come out . Overall we were there 3+ hours. I should give a lower review but I'm in the industry and don't want to do harm to their reputation. My sister's bison filet was apparently a huge hit! I had the fish sandwich which might have been the best. Desserts were good. If seating and pace were better, it could have been a great experience.

This place specializes in burgers and steaks made from bison and I have to say it was delicious. I had the bison New York strip and my wife had a bison burger with cheese and jalapenos. Side were fried for her, made from fresh potatoes I believe and were delicious while inhad buttered carrots and roasted parmesan broccoli - both cooked perfectly - crispy and tasty.

The Buffalo 41 is delicious (alcoholic beverage). The Bison burger is great, and so are all of the salads. They serve theee best clam chowder on Friday's. I just discovered they have cookies (The oatmeal raisin are yummmmy)

This is the best burger, I’ve ever had. Biting into the bison patty you can hear the bald eagles scream, and the thunder roll across the plains of the west. The service was phenomenal and atmosphere takes you back 150 years to the west culture of this great country.

What a wonderful place. Food was beyond excellent and wait staff were quite nice. There was no wait, and we got the standard pickles pretty quick. The Blue Creek bison burger was maybe the best burger I've had in several years. Fries were delicious. The iced tea was really good, but the glasses were so small that I probably had 5 or 6 refills. Probably could have used a pitcher. We were offered a dessert menu, but the meal was so filling we could not have eaten it. What a great place. We'll come back again when in the area.

Went here for lunch and had the Ted Burger (bison) and fries. The burger was medium well and was exceptionally dry. The fries were good. They server brings you fresh pickles once you are seated. Our waiter seem to be slightly overwhelmed, the other tables servers were more attentive. Came with a group and the overall reviews were mixed.

Tried the Skinny Turkey burger and it was crispy and dark dark brown on the outside and pink on the inside. They did switch it out for me however just be sure to check your food all the way so you dont get sick. The waitress was very nice and kind and helpful when I gave her instructions in regards to my son's food allergies. Altogether it was an Ok experience we may return. I just will order Bison instead and get it cooked MW

Potatoes were about as cold as our server.Bison steak was undercooked.Nice atmosphere but some might not like country music or booth seating at knee level.If you are an animal lover the huge bison head may bug you.Especially if your seated in front of it.All I can say about Ted's is low passion and mediocre food.It felt like a cross between Texas roundhouse and longhorn.But the food wasnt as good.Good luck.

Great stop for a good bison burger. I was staying downtown and felt like a burger so I walked to Teds. I ordered an old fashioned from the friendly bartender. It was a little sweet but sometimes I like it that way. I then ordered a bacon cheeseburger with a side of broccoli. The burger itself was delicious and quite large. The broccoli wasn’t good. Overall I would say it was a worthwhile visit and would go back, but not order the broccoli.

We picked Ted's based on online reviews. We were not disappointed. They accommodated us here even though we made a reservation at another of their restaurants. I had the Avalon burger. Very tasty and juicy (even though it was a little more done than I asked for). The fries were crispy just as I like them. Had a Newly Fashioned drink which was pretty strong. Recommend you stir it before drinking. We'll be back and will try Ted's in other locations (perhaps the one we made the reservation at!).

Very disappointed in the service we received on 8/10/19. The service was pretty bad. We didn't get drink refills when we needed them, our food delivery was awful (ex. I got my salad after my meal came out and I had to ask where it was). My steak was rubbery. My daughter wouldn't even touch it. We had to continuously ask for refills and they weren't given or the waiter said "oh, I didn't bring that out yet?". No, you didn't... Worst part was we had 3 separate checks (1 kid plus 1 adult) and all had separate check folders, but our waiter managed to charge everyone's cards wrong. Example: I was charged $42 for my $31 check. Not okay. I mentioned it to the manager before he left and he did apologize, but he wasn't sure how to fix it. Our party decided it would be best to settle it on our own so our cards wouldn't be messed up further. We were all Ted's fans, but we won't be back to this location.

Looking for a place to eat lunch and I decided to visit here. Small place but the food is worth waiting for. Shame to me that I didn't get their milkshakes. I will return to try out more of their delicious food.

Would not recommend unless you really want bison. Service is slow, took over 50 minutes for the food to come. Ordered medium rare and got well done. Ordered onion rings and got fries. For a $20 burger, they give you small portions and a tiny hand full of side. Server was nowhere to be found, will not come back.

I LOVE Ted's...... The BUFFALO on the menu is terrific. I always get the POT ROAST with gravy, mashed, & a veggie. Ha, I ask wait staff to bring a doggie bag right away ---- you'll need it, but I'm tempted to eat it all!!!! The GREATEST Marguerita with egg whites! ( they cook in the alcohol) good quality brands of booze. A LONG bar, kinda looks like a joint in NYC. I had a dessert for an appetizer - seasonal dessert - strawberry shortcake. TV at the bar. I got delivery today and they said 6 I got there at 6:15 because of traffic and I brought my daughter too then she was sitting at the bar because her legs were hurting because she is a gymnast she sat down and after 30 minutes later she said she cannot sit at the bar and I go to teds all the time and they never say that so I told my daughter to sit back down and she got my food and slammed it on the table then she walked around onto the counter looking at my daughter like she was stupid then started talking and still looking at my daughter talking to the customers and kept looking until we left

I visited this restaurant in Atlanta, GA during the first week of August. Restaurants get good ratings from me due to the service of their waitstaff. We had a Great waitress who knew the food and drinks. I had a Farmhouse salad with grilled chicken. The salad was Huge, and my chocolate martini was good. Missing the chocolate swirls at the bottom of the glass, but other than that it tasted okay. Seating was tight, but not a place I'm interested in eating at again. My husband truly enjoyed his burger. Just a place you can say you visited.

The Bison Burgers taste so great, they made me a return customer over and over again. Big fan of the seasonal spinach and strawberry salad and the Cheesecake too! The staff is very well trained, friendly and accommodating.

The food was phenomenal on my end, however one of my guests had their bison steak come out undercooked twice. The reason for the 5 star review is because between the server and management the meal was comped and they were extremely apologetic and tried to offer other alternatives on the house. They went above and beyond to make sure that we had a pleasant experience despite it not being perfect. No one is perfect but this place came pretty close!! Highly recommended!!

A group of us went for lunch (had the fish sandwich; delicious and large) and liked it so much...a larger group went back for dinner. A little long to get a table (they don't take reservations but, I recommend calling ahead to get your name on waiting list) but, again, food was incredible! Bison pot roast, steaks, and meatloaf were heavenly! DW, our server, was friendly & proficient! Try them out!

Usually a good place. But don't get waiter named Raphael. He lost our order. We had finished our nachos appetizer (which came out wrong and had stale chips) and waited at least another 15 minutes before he even took our entree order. Waited and waited. He finally came back with another appetizer of potato chips (also stale) and dip and gave us a bs story of how busy they were. When we were seated there were less than half the tables full and zero line at the door. Food finally came. I had the bison meatloaf sandwich. It had a quarter inch slice of meatloaf on it. Definitely not worth the price. This experience has soured me on this location. I might try another Ted's though but not anytime soon.

Good food, terrible service. Went at 7:30PM last night and sat at the bar. Took over 15 minutes to get a drink. Ordered a salad and a burger. Salad came out after the burger. Trying to get the bartender’s attention was futile. Never checked on my meal or if I needed anything like ketchup. Got beer after my meal was finished. Liked the food and I believe in second chances so I came back for lunch the next day 12:30/1:30. Sat at the bar and ordered a sandwich and a cup of gumbo. Service was slow and I was basically forgotten about. Got my second drink after I finished my food. Special of the day side that I ordered never came. Ughh. I want to like this place as the food is good but the service is absolutely terrible. Be forewarned.

Service was good, good had to go back. It was under cooked and sides were cold and some were refrigerator cold. When it came back, my steak was on a saucer, same as sides. Manager was nice, but when potatoes came back they tasted like pepper was added and I began to cough, if I didn't know better the cook sprinkled borax on my potatoes (they use borax for hand soap). My sons food was cold but he ate the steak which was undercooked, he doesn't like to send things back. For a hefty 40.00 per plate you would expect to have better service. The server was great and we discussed the meat temps in detail and when I cut into it he agreed it was extremely raw inside. The manager took care of the check (she touched the food and saw how it was served, said it was unexceptable and apologized). We've been here before and it was great, this maybe was an incident in a million and someone should be losing a job, but it is what it was. For this moment, this is my rating and pics included. It would have been nice to get a certificate to use on another visit, but that didn't happen either. When the steak (bison) came back the top was a tough chard and still raw inside. Maybe they'll get it right the next time.

My wife and I were meandering around the Avalon and got a hankering for a burger and figured “why not?” The restaurant itself was clean and the staff was friendly. My burger came out a little less done that I’d prefer, but our server (Danny I believe??) was quick to rectify the situation. Aside from that the food was good! Wife and I both had a good time- prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly. I’m glad we stopped in. Would recommend to anybody in the area.

This place gets extremely busy and the wait can be forever as they don't have a lot of seating and it's a tight little place. Booth seating is very nice if you're lucky enough to snag it but sometimes bar seating looks like the most cost effective option. The meal is good, a little slow though, and they didn't have all of the ingredients to make some of the food. Somewhat disappointing but still a good place to check out in the area. They have a few in Atlanta. right by some great views.

The first time we ate here it was absolutely perfect: we were seated promptly, got our order taken quickly, (waiter helped us choose since this was our first visit), meals were brought in a timely manner, the steaks came out as ordered, our meal was delicious, the wait staff was personable, attentive (checked on us several times, refilled our drinks) & he even had a little humor which gave us a few laughs. We also enjoyed the environment. So we decided this would be a great place to bring a couple of family members to celebrate a birthday. SPOT ON!! Our evening was so perfect again! We received the same great service, (different waiter)and everyone was delighted with their meals. Ted's made our celebration night awesome! We have shared our opinions about this restaurant several times to others. And guess what we received as a Christmas gift? A Gift Certificate here! YAH!! We plan to use it next week. So looking forward to it.

Pretty good food. Definitely a unique experience and a good way to be exposed to bison burgers and bison in general. The first time I went here was on my birthday a couple years ago. I had the bison bacon cheeseburger and it was really delicious. Definitely have the burgers medium well for the best flavor and texture. The meat is very lean so well done will change the taste and texture. This time I went with more people and we all got different things we hadn't had before. I got a table early and a waiter came over to take my drink order and offered to take an order for an appetizer while I waited. He was very polite and made sure my drink or my son's was ever empty. Very attentive waiter and friendly. He offered the items of the day and some of us tried them. The devour Indy event was still active so that was an option as well. Absolutely an idea to consider and it is a great way to try the food at a good cost. The food was good and came out very quickly. When we ordered dessert we also ordered a to go order and they came out at the same time. Very fast service. Pleasant atmosphere and nice clean restaurant. I will go back again and try some new menu items. Good for families and groups to enjoy a meal.

I got the Bison meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans and it was delicious. The meatloaf has big chucks of green pepper in it, the mashed potatoes had just the right amount of garlic and the green beans were cooked well, but not to the point of being flimsy. It was a bit loud in there and if you're sitting near the front, you will constantly hear the sound of ripping paper as they cover the tables with a thick, patterned paper. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience. I'm anxious to return on a future trip to try more of the menu.

So first Impression..This place looks really neat. We had our own little booth with dim lighting. It did set a very relaxed and chill mood. While deciding what to order the waitress (Whom was very nice) brought out a bowl of pickles or cucumbers, she didnt tell us what it was or why but it was different. I ended up ordering the 1777 Burger with Bison Meat. Why 1777 and not 1776? It was cool though came out with a little American Flag in the burger. As far as the taste goes with the burger, it was different. The meat seamed very soft, so soft in fact my burger kept coming apart. It wouldnt stay together. I dont know if that is a bison thing or just the way they make there burgers.... Overall, it seemed a little over priced but it was a good experience. If i go back i would get the beed burger or a bison steak. Check this place out and let me know what you think!

Went to Ted's on a Saturday night - reservations were for 8:30PM. Staff was courteous, and Ted's ambiance is really nice. It's definitely a cool looking spot, with the dim lights and wooden booths. The reason for the 2-star review is because the food took forever to come out, and came out "cool" (temperature-wise). It wasn't cold, but it doesn't wasn't hot...it was almost room temperature. I got a burger and the onion rings, but I also snagged some of my brother-in-law's fries, and they too were cool. Afraid to say anything too pessimistic (to not poo-poo over the birthday boy's experience out), I casually mentioned that the burgers were kinda cold, to which I had two other people quickly agree. Steak orders got screwed up too (grilled to the wrong temperature, no rub applied as was requested, etc.). Anyways - Everyone knows how deflating it is to get cold food, especially when you're paying $15-$20 a burger. Maybe it was just the staff that one night, but it was my one experience there. I can get an okay-tasting, cold, and expensive burger just about anywhere.

We love Ted’s. Our favorite is meatloaf plate. Today we ordered it to go and when I opened the lead of my box at home I was pretty disappointed. The meat was looking crunchy dry where it was cut. It probably just the way it was reheated, but it looked like it was pretty old left over, not a fresh restaurant take out. If it is the way it was reheated then the new way to warm up cold piece of meatloaf should be found to keep it juicy and presentable. I have a pic of my inferior dinner.

I am giving this rating not based on food but rather service. We had some issues with sides and the burger I received was well done, not medium as I had asked for. Even the bartender was like wow, yeah that is def not medium. Who knows why...maybe the cook misinterpreted the order wrong but I said something and they took it back, offered me a re do which I declined. Then the manager comes over and I can't recall her name but damn she was great. Even offered me a steak on them but at this point I shared with the wife and pretty much was full. Hats off to the girls working the bar and the manager. To the owners, this was a class act, you have some great employees. Will return next trip.

If you like bison steak or bison burgers, then this is the place. They have other, more normal menu items but you don't find bison just anywhere. They also serve trout, whisk fantastic. There is a decent wine/beer selection as well. I wouldn't say this is formal dining, but I would not go dressed in torn jeans and the-shirt, just saying.

I really feel whenever I step inside, the hosts, servers and bartenders main goal is to cater any requests to making sure I have an exemplary experience. One of my favorite bartenders is Natalya! She’s knowledgeable about anything you may have a question about on the menu, and always comes up with great recommendations for whatever I am in the mood for to eat or drink. She just makes me feel at home and creates a pleasing atmosphere any time I come to visit. If you get the chance to have Natalya serve you, you are truly in for a treat.

Ted’s Montana Grill at Avalon near Atlanta is fabulous. Food and Service are great. Well managed. Excellent location at Avalon in ALPHARETTA GA north of Atlanta. Sit at the bar, or tables or booth inside or outside on the patio. Great for lunch or dinner. Great for Couples, Families, business or pleasure. We are regulars or “Ted Heads”. On our most recent visit, Joel the manager introduced us to our server Joseph who did an excellent job. You will like Ted’s too.

Good food. Pretty reasonable prices compared to the higher end setting it has. Calorie counts are WAY off. Bison meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans shows only 490 calories. There's no way. This plate was huge and it's just not possible. If you're dieting, stick to the salads. All of which have bacon by the way. Like ALL of them. Serves burgers, bison alternative, salads, plates and other standard bar type fare, but with a higher end feel.

I've been to Ted's on several occasions love the food and normally the service is great. Went for lunch today at the Avalon location, arrived at 11:05. Advised the waitress that we were on a timeline. We ordered at 11:15 (an appetizer and a salad). At 11:45, we still have not received out meals and the waitress have not come back to check on us. I've always had great service when I visited, today was one of those days that I needed the great service I'm use to receiving. Now I have to take my food to go.

5:00 on Friday last seat at bar was next to serve station, fryer, salamander, and flat top grill---seriously. Planning to order and run I was quickly greeted with drink order and the show began. From the fresh cut Fry's to the planked salmon one order after another rolled out with hardly a word spoken. Had the bison burger med rare (bison is leaner than beef order one rarer than your normal, if you normally order med order med rare to avoid a dry burger) with frys. Bison was perfect buttery texture and flavor, frys were right on --- will be back and hopefully seated by the serve station! Come early , plan on waiting, and come hungry--- huge portions.

I came here for a work lunch and I really enjoyed it! I will say this: if you come with a large group, like more than 10 people, you will have to wait. But we called ahead and were told that. This location is small so they don't handle large groups well. As for the food, I had a steak salad and the roasted broccoli. Both were delicious! I also had some onion rings my coworker ordered and didn't finish. You get quite a bit of those. As for service, it was fantastic! The server was on point and handled our table very well.

I read many positive and negative reviews. I keep an open mind, especially since I understand that all people have different expectations. Mine are generally low. Not because I don't believe anyone can reach my idea of high performance, it just keeps me from being disappointed. With that-- While the food tasted great, it arrived not as hot as I would have expected. My bison short ribs, in my opinion, were too cool to have been recently slow roasted. The sauted cauliflower tasted great, but wasn't freshly cooked, or if it was, it sat for a while before making it to the table. Service was just okay. I don't necessarily appreciate being hovered over and my server certainly did not, but I was never offered a refill on my drink and it wasn't until I asked when the check came to the table that I finally recieved one. So, in my whole low expectations thing, I wasn't disappointed but would have truthfully enjoyed this place surprising me. The atmosphere is inviting and the menu gives the impression that this establishment prides themselves on great food with good presentation, wrapping it all together with that warm inviting atmosphere, but just didn't happen, at least for me. Bottom line-- Consider other options unless you absolutely have to have bison.

First time here. Ordered the Jambalaya and it was perfect with the right (generous) portion size. The Fish and Chips were also ordered and again the portion size was on point. I would recommend either of these and coupled with the outdoor seat proved to be an excellent late afternoon out. The wait staff was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Pricing was not out of the ordinary and it's a great alternative. Try it!

My husband and I, along with two friends, visited Atlanta this weekend from Tallahassee FL and had to visit or favorite restaurant, Ted's! We were disappointed on Friday with the service because our server forgot to put our ticket in for the cooks (she also forgot the extra drinks we ordered), so we waited over an hour for our food. The food was good, however my trout was overcooked and so was my friend's steak which the cooks had butterflied to cook it faster. On Saturday we met with our daughter and boyfriend who wanted to go to Ted's. I didn't mention our misadventure the previous day because, this was Ted's afterall! To sum it up, the service was again poor, and we waited over an hour for our food. The family sitting next to us had waited even longer, and they had only ordered Mac and Cheese and hamburgers. Because we had an event to get to, I walked over to the service station and explained to our server that we needed to leave and where the heck was the food? She was able to get the food to us 10 minutes later and it was very good, however we had to slam it down because we were late for our event. Ted's is was of the best and busiest restaurants in Tallahassee (they are always slammed), despite this, the staffing, service, and food has always been superb during the 10 years we've been frequenting there. My advice to regional management is to do some observations to see what the heck Tallahassee is doing right and get that Atlanta store operating better! I rated 3 Stars (5 for Tallahassee and 2 for Atlanta).

Don’t waste your time ordering Togo!!! I called three different times and got hung up on every time. Asked to talk to the manager and still got hung up on. There are two bartenders behind the bar and it was 6:00 on a MONDAY night. If your bartenders can’t handle a Monday then they shouldn’t be behind the bar and I know how ted’s are because I used to work there. I used to order food every week from there and after this experience, that is DEFINITELY not happening anymore

Was in Atlanta for a conference and my co-worker's husband found and suggested Ted's. The evening we went there was a 1 hour wait (probably due to the conference) so we went to the bar for drinks. I had the Grand Agave Margarita which was excellent! We were also happy when we got crisp $2 bills as change (not sure if that's a regular thing). We had the Bison Nachos as an appetizer which was delicious (and I'm not normally a big nachos fan). I had the Bison Delmonico Ribeye, it was really well seasoned and cooked to perfection! My companions shared a Bison Meatloaf sandwich which they enjoyed immensely. For dessert I had the Kahlua Fudge Brownie which was extremely decadent and I'm still full the next day ... but totally worth it! Our server forgot to bring their house-made pickles with our dinner but apologized and brought it with dessert - delicious. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in ATL.

We love Ted's and have been patrons for years. It may seem like a small thing, but we always get pickles. The server did not bring them, and did not come by before our entrees came out to check and see if we were ok. A different person brought the food out, and he didn't notice the absence of pickles either and left before I could say anything. It's a small thing, but the amount of time we were left there without anyone checking in, and not noticing something like that, concerned me. "It's the little things."

Carry out order was cold to barely warm. Not just one item but the entire order. I was at the bar when it was brought up and walked a quick two blocks to my hotel. All the food seemed like it was probably pre-cooked and simply warmed up when I ordered.

I don't know where to begin with. It was waste of $100 I spent. To begin with, the drinks that we ordered had almost no alcohol. It was a sugar syrup drink and the steak and salmon was the worst ones I have ever had in my life. Also, the waiter took 10 minutes to refill my water, that I requested for. The lady brought incomplete order and literally just threw on the table and left. The waiter later brought the remaining food upon asking but he never came by to check if we needed more water or anything else. Also, all the food was over salty and was very cheap in quality. The only thing that I liked that made me give one star (I'd give half star if it was possible) was their water. They gave slices of lemon and cucumber to add to the water, which was nice. This is THE WORST steakhouse I have ever been to. Never ever going to this place again!

So this was our first time eating at a Ted's restaurant. We expected a long wait but when we arrived at peak dinner time the place was nearly empty like 3 small tables. Anyway, we were seated right away. The waiter explained the specialties and got our drink and appetizer order. He recommended the bison chili nacho's and we agreed. Drinks were promptly brought out and appetizer soon followed. The first chip we each grabbed was as stail as week old bread. Each of had the same result. When waiter came back to check on us we unformed him of it and he quickly got them replaced. Nacho's were good. Bison chili was tasty but not a lot of it or cheese. My dinner was the 14oz bison ribeye. It was slightly undercooked (asked for med rare) but was ok for me. Anyone else may have sent it back. Bison was flavorful and tender. This is a more pricey restaurant but food was good. Only on emore table was sat before we left and walking out I noticed the bar was completely empty. Having not been from the area I am not sure what the deal was but if your looking for a n upscale type dinner experience in the greater Indianapolis IN area this was worth it in my opinion

Worst Ted’s I’ve been to. The waitress had maybe 6+ tables by herself while others stood around and watched. At our angle, I could see others watching me and my girlfriend from the kitchen and they were being very loud and obnoxious. The service took a long time to even get our drink order in and again, we don’t blame the waitress due to how busy she was. Our chips came out soggy and our dip was wrong. We asked someone other than our waitress for a new basket and the right dip, and he said he would get it for us. He never came out with it and avoided eye contact and would turn around when getting too close. Me and my girlfriend just decided to take the chips and dip off the bill at that point because our food had come out. We even watched as an employee sat down nearby and talked to others, avoiding us, as we asked for assistance. My steak came out medium rare instead of well done.

Magellan was a great waiter. Attentive and engaging. Made solid recommendations, though the Agave Margarita is only recommended if you like salt. It was too much for my taste, but otherwise everything else was spot on. The filet was very tender and full of flavor. The garlic mashed potatoes were terrific, especially with the sauce/gravy that came with it. Definitely worth checking out. Ask for Magellan to be your server, if you can. Make sure arrive early, closer to 5pm, for a quick seat. Otherwise, you could be waiting a while. The food was brought out quickly, but still right on time.

My lady friend alyson Anne Lindsey suffers from celiac and it's so hard to get substitutes anywhere I mean you try a bun less burger every time but luckily this ace had my back . I went to this restaurant, June 17, 2018, approximately 2:30 p.m., with my family. My daughter went into check for seating availability for a party of 5 and was told no seating until 6:30 p.m. There was a party of 4 ahead of her that was told 15 minutes for seating. This didn't seem right so I went in and was told the same thing, 6:30 p.m. for seating. I then asked if the restaurant was closed until 6:30 p.m. and I was told yes, unless reservations, but the party ahead of us didn't have reservation. I was then informed that parties of 5 or more have tables placed together but there are booths available but normally don't hold 5 adults. I then said we were fine with the booth as we have sat as a family of 5 in one prior. I was then told it would be a 20 minute wait. I didn't feel welcome nor did I feel the restaurant staff (Marissa) wanted to accommodate us, initially.

Went there for lunch with work colleagues and the service was slow. We didnt get our food until 40 minutes after it was ordered. I had to find a manager ask about the order and I was told it was being put together. Mind you we barely saw our waitress and she didn't offer more drinks or come and check on us. I only get to go here when I'm visiting my boyfriend, but this place is so good. I like having the shrimp with ciabatta toast for my starter and the bacon bison burger for my main course. This past time going, the bacon was a little chewy and I was the only one out of the entire table (my boyfriend and his parents were with me) who got their burger cooked correctly. It wasn't too bad though and the manager compensated for the mistake by modifying the bill. The waitress was still very nice and the rest of the good was great. I'll definitely be back here.

This restaurant never seems to miss the mark. The theme is a little strange for this area as it's an upscale (a little pricy) burger place with an emphasis on bison. Think Montana country without the boots and bolo ties. I have never had a bad meal and the wife is utterly addicted to the veggie burger. My 7 year old son frequently orders the kids salmon which is a nice healthy option compared to what a typical restaurant kids menu contains. Special requests for meal substitutes are handled well and always accommodated.

Underwhelming is the first word coming to mind. We were greeted promptly and seated immediately. The server was friendly and efficient. The food was where it all fell apart. My wife had a salad that had very little of the advertised ingredients. I had a filet ordered med. It came out med well on the outside and rare in the middle indicating the grill was too hot. I asked to have it cooked up. When I got it back, it was well on the outside and medium well in the center. The carrots were raw as well. I would not recommend this restaurant for their accuracy or food quality. The front of the house staff was great but the biggest reason you go out to eat for is the food and the kitchen dropped the ball.

For our last night in Atlanta we decided to look for somewhere for a good steak and were recommended Ted Montana’s by the hotel reception. It was a 20 minute walk from our hotel but we felt it was well worth it. There was a football game on that night so when we phoned earlier we were told they were not taking reservations. We went along anyway and upon entering were told there would be a 35 minute wait. No problem so we ordered a drink at the bar. Then before we had got our drinks within 5 minutes our name was called and we were seated. Between the four of us we had Filet and Ribeye steaks which were cooked to perfection and beautifully tender. Would recommend the 50/50 Fries and Onion Rings.Unfortunately we had to remind the waitress on a couple of late / missing items during the course of the meal but the place was packed, so she was trying to cover all bases at once.Whilst it is part of a chain the place has a unique feel about it albeit a bit dark but would recommend here if you want a good steak at a reasonable price.

I came here on a Saturday night and it was after 8 pm. There weren't too many people in the restaurant. (I sure want to see this elite place with specialty food stay open.) I recently ate the bison meatloaf sandwich which I prefer over gamey buffalo I tried for 1st time at another restaurant. The sandwich was a very filling, had a very delicious barbeque-type sauce on top (which may have been homemade), melted cheese on top with a foccacia type bun. (I would have loved it without the cheese because I am watching my diet.) The green beans were great. I had a beer and it was high priced. I wonder if they can reduce costs somehow or have specials to draw more people here. Bartender and staff were kind and made sure food was prepared as requested.

We were there for dinner on a Saturday night. The food was fresh and excellent but my burger arrived cold and overdone. I ordered it medium and it was served well done. My wife ordered hers well done and it was served well done; she was happy with it. The sauté cauliflower was very good but arrived cold as well. I recommend the skinny dip for a gluten and dairy free meal. Service was good but not outstanding, however I very much appreciated the manager coming to us to apologize and comping my burger. This made a big difference in my opinion and satisfaction. Overall we had a good time and it was a pleasant evening out. One more small detail: the tomatoes were very fresh and tasty, which is hard to find these days.

Location, environment, and service was great. However, the food was mediocre. It wasn't bad but frankly it was not impactful enough for me to consider returning. Steak was good but it wasn't any special than Longhorn or Outback. Salad was just depressing: lettuce wasn't fresh, just didn't taste good. Stick with the burger, can't seem to go wrong with that.

I came here for happy hour with my friend after work and was excited to see there was room at the bar! Happy hour is only done in the bar or patio area so we were happy to get the happy hour deals. There are $5 glasses of wine, $1 off drafts and some $5-7 cocktails. There are also some fries, onion rings and burgers on the happy hour menu. Our server was extremely friendly and quick to serve us. The food was good, my only comment is I got a side of green beans and they had a bit too much oil on them. But the rest was great. Overall I'd recommend a visit in!

I ordered the bison ribeye was supposed to be medium and it was way overcook and so was my wife's and sons steaks. We have been here many times and have always loved it. Their bison chili is delicious and filling in itself. We have tried probably 6-7 of their different burgers and have loved each one. Made a lunch date with an old friend to meet at Ted's Montana Grill at Evergreen. Service was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable...we each ordered the Sangria as our beverage and WOW it was amazing..we could stayed all afternoon to enjoy that. We each ordered the fish sandwich which was served on a whole wheat bun with tartar sauce and lettuce. The fish was tasty and cooked perfectly. I would have preferred a different bread choice. It came with fries. We also ordered side salads, mine with BLT ranch dressing which is oh so good. My dining partner ordered the Cesar salad which she was happy with. It is a lovely place to relax and catch up.

I Asked to speak to the manager twice but he never showed up.We had to leave and go dine somewhere else. I do not recommand this place at all.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. They've got a great selection of food and you can't really go wrong with anything. Their signature is bison but everything can be made with beef and is equally enjoyable. They've got an excellent variety of sides and starters. Definitely would recommend.

Holy wow. This place was STUNNING. We stopped by for a meal before a show and were blown away. The decor is older in theme, but authentic. Staff was incredibly pleasant and 100% aware of gluten free eating options. (Very friendly for Celiacs!!!!) We enjoyed the best buffalo burgers, truly fantastic. Drinks were amazing and made beautifully. Overall it was an amazing time. We will definitely be back next time we are in Atlanta!

I hate doing this as I did visit multiple times, yet everytime they managed to mess up my order. The first time I asked for added onions and go none. The second time I asked for no jalapenos and got jalapenos. The third time I got raw chicken on my salad and then got the wrong salad in exchange. The server was great and did all he could. He is not at fault but I fail to see how you can send out the wrong order or health scary order...unfortunately I will never visit again.

Typical upscale burger restaurant. Food is great. They uses paper straw if you care, clean and kind staffs. Price is as expected in Avalon area which is understandable. You may have hard time to get a parking spot near restaurant if you go here around lunch/dinner time.

I heard a lot of great things but I was really unimpressed. The draft list was very limited, the burger looked like something I could make, everything was just kind of piled on, the roasted broccoli was steamed, and everyone's potatos were cold. The waiter was wicked nice though!
