I've now been to Tavern on 3 a few times. The food is alright. It's definitely a bar-style menu, which is ok. The beer menu has a decent selection, not too extravagant, but you should be able to find something that pertains to your tastes. Not a bad place to drop by for happy hour.

I’m from Los Angeles, therefore each time I come to this coast I try to visit new places. Waitress that I had pleasure meeting (Jenna), provided me with a wonderful service and nice conversation. Definitely a big plus when staff makes a visit pleasant. Will stop again.

1st time patron! Me and my wife stopped one late night thankfully they were open. We ordered drinks ( They had my favorite Bourbon) The waitress offered up some opinions on what to try(Nachos, short rib tacos,Onion rings) it was hot, delicious and our drinks were made to perfection, was a great relaxing atmosphere. This place is located in a convenient location for me. The cocktails are sweet. Service is quick, seating is comfortable and spread out and the recent changes to the menu have been good changes. If you like bar food and burgers this is a good place for you.

Amazing. Our waitstagf Jenna was fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly and delivered professional service. If you visit I would request her for sure. Excited about the new menu, happy hour, and the entertainment coming. Our first time. The food was fresh and so delicious. I am a healthy eater and the choices were wide. The burgers looked so lean and cooked as ordered. The steak sandwich all I can say is wow. I had the Chicken Caprese with Buffalo mozzarella and a balsamic reduction glaze. Done absolutely right. All I can say is the price was so minimal for this fabulous gastronomic experience. We will be back. Tavern 3 is Tavern number 1 in my opinion. We went Saturday for Lunch and headed back to start working my way through this awesome we'll put together menu. Great location. Love the decor. Relaxing down to earth neighbor feeling with upscale ambiance. This is a 5 star.

I was driving by and stopped in on a whim. Nice vibe and variety of music playing. The beef stew was good as was the Texas mule. They gladly accepted my request to add muddled strawberry to it. Jenna was very nice. I will definitely come back.

NO one under 21 allowed in the establishment after 10. Their website doesn't state any information corresponding to being kicked out by bouncers after ordering dinner @ 9:30 in the dining room area. Had there been any notice I would've picked a different restaurant to bring my 20 year old brother. They even sat us down and knew that he wasn't drinking and still didn't mentioned that we would have to leave at that time. Not very happy with the professionalism of the bouncer. He didn't even understand why no one had mentioned that to us or even why it would be the situation considering we WERE NOT in the bar area.

If I could leave this place zero stars I would. I went there last night was greeted by a very nice host. I got the wings and the lemon chicken. The wings were super dark when the came out and I asked the bar manager why and he said they put paprika on the before. They were awful, hands down some of the worst wings I ever had. The lemon chicken was soon after. The chicken came out and was super dry. I did like the spinach. Service was sub par since it was very slow. Overall, the food sucked and the service wasn’t far behind. I will not be returning... rather spend my money at McDonald’s than eating there again.

Really enjoyed the wide variety of options on the menu. I had the Cran Apple Sale and the bourbon salmon and really enjoy both. My wife had the Text Mex salad and she really liked hers as well. Every thing that came out of the kitchen looked good. They have a good bar with Tito's on tap. For dessert we had the cookie and ice cream which was delicious. Highly recommend and encourage you to try it.

I am not a "Tavern" kind of person, but it was late and choices were limited. Wow!! Amazing fresh food from scratch, homemade dressings and great happy hour prices. I had 2 chicken tacos (flavorful, tender and amazing) a salad (not iceberg, but a REAL salad) and 2 glasses of wine for less than $20!! A must try!

Well where do I start. I went there for lunch had a great time. Meet the supposed owner and ran some ideas past him for the evening while doing a car show in the adjacent lot. When I went back I tried to open the bar for the locals to support veterans abroad and was rudely greeted with the actual supposed owner who later had his "head of security" grab me by the throat and push me then grab my wallet and toss it claiming to have the right to do so based of ct laws. Now I'm an 11 year and ongoing veteran who was only doing a nice thing by offering an opportunity to salute those away from home for the upcoming holidays. I asked the head bartender if I could open the tab for 1 drink to any and all interested and was told yes. I had no idea that I needed to request permission from multiple individuals when it's a live band and the DJ was willing to announce my intentions. Needless to say I spent 65 of food and a 120% tip to my waiter. I'll NEVER GO back there again. Seems to be anti military and or lacks the support of our troops from this hostile display the owner presented today. I will continue to show support for my brothers and sisters and ask those who support the same to stay clear of this establishment. The proper way to have handled it would have been to explain these unwritten inhouse rules or policies. As a customer, I am speechless that this is how restaurants are allowed to treat their customers.

I've been here twice since they opened. I definitely love the atmosphere, from the custom charred bar-top to epoxy concrete flooring very cool! The beer selection is so so, the food menu very short on selection. I got in the buffalo wings twice, the first time they were pretty good, the second time very disappointing. The chicken sliders are underwhelming. Lots of missed potential here.

Had the steak and cheese rolls for an appetizer, and it was delicious. For a meal we had the chicken Cesar salad. The chicken was juicy and tender. And the hangover burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was perfectly stacked, a nice big juicy burger. The atmosphere is great. We'll be back

Been there a few times and also ordered take out before and the food is always good. However I can not recommend going there for lunch. Called and asked if they had a lunch menu just to find out it's the same menu during lunch and dinner with regular prices. We also waited almost an hour until we got our food which is way to long during a 1h lunch break.

Had the bruschetta with fresh mozzarella/tomatoes/basil with balsamic vinagaette. Bruschetta should be French bread, brushed with olive oil , grilled or toasted. BUT the bread was more like bread left out overnight. No flavor. Tomatoes, well like little sponges. No flavor if it wasn't for the thick vinagaette. The Philly egg rolls were ok but the dipping sauce was like tartar sauce. Mayo and sweet pickles. Horse radish sauce would have been better. Atmosphere was very nice and the staff also. Ok I'm done. I'll try something else next time.

I had a head cold when I went here so I got my food to go. It was good food but the onion rings would have been better had I ate them on location. The patio area looked like a cool place to hang. I didn't like the doors to the restaurant. It is set up that you could walk through the patio area Wich is close to where I parked but they have signs up telling you not to do that so you have to walk around to the front door which is kind of out of the way. I would go back for some cocktails and eats.

I’m hoping to move this to five stars soon! As a new bar with a great industrial and wood interior, it has wonderful potential! We decided to give it a try after seeing the deep fried cauliflower on the menu online. The pieces of cauliflower were too big, I would have preferred the same amount of food, just divided into smaller pieces so they are easier to eat like a chicken wing (the pieces were easily over twice the size of a boneless wing). We opted to not have them tossed in wing sauce, the batter was a bit sweet and thin so next time we will have them tossed in sauce. LOVED the pretzel appetizer, the cheese dip had a nice kick without being overly spicy. The burgers were good, but the sweet potato fries were super over done and they were thin cut so they just were super crispy/crumbly and many were dark/burnt. Overall Con: Since they are new the menu was quite small, just a half dozen apps, a few salads, wings, and burgers. I hope they will expand their menu to include more entree options. Overall Pro: I liked that their drink menu included the prices of the drinks!
