The portions are huge, the General Tso's was just like I liked. The Wonton soup had great flavor, and the Crab Rangoon was some. Of the. Best I have ever had. It's a small location, and not much for atmosphere, but the. Food is great.

Looks nice inside, but there was this ceiling fan going in front of a light creating a super annoying strobe effect. Had the shrimp fried rice. All the ingredients were tasty and fresh except the rice which tasted like it was either cooked a long time ago or undercooked. Staff was friendly.

Holy... God... This food is amazing - I've been to China and this is really a taste of china. I always go nappa beef for the amazing spice and texture, and Mongolian beef has a crunchy candy like glaze that's incredible! Dip the Mongolian in the nappa sauce for a real treat! And do yourself a favor - get two orders of the salt and pepper cuddle fish if there's more than one person!

Pick up lunch from here quite often, as I work close by. Very good prices, and I would say the food is excellent. Tasty and fresh. Personal favorite is their mongolian chicken. Not a top of the line fancy meal, but good chinese-american style dishes.

He said he did, but we walked outside our building and to other areas around to try to find him and he wasn’t anywhere to be seen. we then told them we would go and pick it up they refused . She told me just to cancel the order because the food wasn’t there. I told her we would wait she said no I already cancelled the order. They’re rude and unprofessional.

If your going to deliver make sure your driver and person taking order understands and can speak English . Food is good when they get your order right , and not charge you for something you didn't order and give you a hard time about correcting it due to language barrier. I do not speak nor understand Chinese . I'm in America I speak ENGLISH. Which you should learn . !!!!

After many years of doing take out, it was nice to finally sit down in a Chinese restaurant again for a delicious meal! had the lunch special, which comes with an egg roll your choice of soup white or fried rice, and then entree. It was served in a very nice Japanese style bento box, and was quite delicious. There were two dumplings included, and the sauce for those was quite spicy so if you do eat there, be careful if you don't like spicy food! Overall, a great experience delicious food nice atmosphere I would recommend it.

Tried take out from this place for the first time due to the accolades and good reviews it had received but the food is seriously unpallateable. Horribly salty and drenched in soy sauce. Not to mention, whoever picked up the phone was mumbling everything and was difficult to understand. They gave me the large portions instead of the small and charged me for it. 4 orders came out to 55 bucks. I didn't bother arguing because I thought if the food is good, I can just save the rest for someone else. But nope, had to just chuck everything. Oh yeah, and no forks or chopsticks or anything. Seriously disappointed and angry that I had to serve my family this garbage.

The quality of their food is no longer the same. I used to love their lamb chops but I ordered it today and it was very dry and hard. The Xiang Xiang pot also had a weird smell and tasted bland. Their beef tripe and tendon dish is still ok. Overall very disappointed. Was a total rip off as prices exorbitantly high for such mediocre food experience.

This place is legit Chinese. If you come here and order General Tso's (not real Chinese) you will be disappointed, but if you come and let Jonathan (the owner) help you pick some dishes you will almost certainly be in food nirvana. To top it all off, they have one of the best rotating collections of Belgian and Belgian-style beers this side of Belgium.

I order from here every weekend and the food is AMAZING. The person that stated the food is bland has never had actual chinese before if they truly feel that way, a pound of sugar on everything doesn't make the food better. Delivery is always quicker than even most of the pizza joints. Personal recommendation is their GS, white rice, and sweet and sour chicken. Oh man and their eggrolls are indescribably devine.

I will rate it below 0. It was an order for carry out. We ordered 2 veg chowmeins but we found that we have been given vegetables and rice. Again, we ordered 2 chicken chowmeins and 1 shrimp chowmeins but was given chicken and shrimp fried rice and rice was not freshly cooked and already had some other meat (beef or pork) in it. The lady who took the order was not welcoming, bad communication and rude. Experience was bad.the place was also not clean. Don’t know how they got 4.4 rating overall.

Taste of China is another Asian take-out restaurant that I go to when I'm in that area. Very friendly people, food is great you can eat in or you can take out! They have a nice menu selection to choose from. I ordered the basic stuff that I recognize and sometimes I ask them NOT to fry it; so, I can take it home and heat it up in my convection oven to save on calories! I can't tolerate a lot of greasy foods as get I grow older!

A mixes bag... as someone else commented the chicken is like rubber but I had an amazing "double cooked" pork dish. One person in our group was clear the didn't want a spicy dish, but sadly what was provided was still hot... however to commend the staff it was removed from the bill before the receipt was presented. Chinese beer on the menu.

I wouldn’t suggest nobody to even order food from here smh ...me and my wife decided to drive all the way from seaford to Delmar just to try their food since we heard such good things about it .. well we ordered a large pork fried rice and a order of chicken wings and she said 15 min so 15 mins go by and we come back and we get ready to eat I opened the pork fried rice and it smelled just like dish water and don’t get me started on the chicken , the chicken had black hair wrapped tight around it smh I went back in the store to show him he was in there cooking with his bare hands while whiping his face I’m just turned off from Chinese places perioddd... Food was good. Delivery driver was terrible. He knocked once and a few seconds later when I got to the door, my food was sitting in the chair on the front porch and he was getting in his car about to take off. He had a shocked look on his face and then acted like he was annoyed when I asked him "Don't I have to sign for it?" then he checks the receipt and notices that the tip said i was supposed to pay with cash. I didnt realize that the BeyondMenu had defaulted it to cash, because I usually add the tip when I sign the card receipt. He rudely asked for the tip and I tried to explain to him that I usually just add it when I sign. He motioned to my house and was like "you can't go get the tip?" Im telling him i dont have cash. He catches an attitude and storms off. So I am actually glad that I didnt give him anything because I don't give tips for bad service. The bigger issue is, if I hadn't come outside before he left, how was the receipt going to get signed. Was this guy going to forge my signature? I wont be ordering again from a place that goes around forging peoples signatures.

After over a dozen visits, my wife and I agree that Taste of China has never failed to deliver hot, tasty food that satisfies our cravings. The staff are friendly and the service is prompt. The taste of their food far surpasses that of a number of other Chinese food establishments in the area, and they are now our restaurant of choice for takeout. Sunny, the lady who usually serves us, is very kind. I highly recommend you stop by and try Taste of China for yourself!

The portion size of one of my dishes was to small ,i ordered a large shrimp and broccoli and and get a few pieces of of shrimp and the rest all vegetables and the house fired rice was terrible the chicken and beef and shrimp tasted like it had been left out for days and im glad i did not get sick and the only thing that was edible was the dumpling i spent over $50.00 and i even gave the delivery driver a $7.00 tip well there another restaurant on my BLACK LIST of places not to get food from ever again
