Went here for a happy hour and our waitress was great however, there was a rude server named Alex who inserted himself where he sadly didn’t belong. After our waitress checked us out, my group of 3 decided we would stay longer and have another drink. We decided to try the red wine sangria, however it was nasty and left an after-taste. We asked the young lady who gave us the drinks for margaritas instead and to take our full glasses of sangria back. She replies “unfortunately the bar asked me to cut you all off.” Taken aback by this, we asked why this request was made when no one was drunk or even close to drunk. Apparently Alex’s feelings were hurt about us not liking the sangria after the young lady revealed he was the server who said it. Since a server thought they could make management decisions, we signaled the manager and reported the issue. Although, the manager offered to provide the margaritas, the server Alex was not corrected in the negative situation that he created. In any establishment, an employee should never make decisions solely up to supervisory, managerial, or owner positions. Because of Alex and his tacky unprofessional attitude, we went to Geronimo Tequila Bar and Southwest Grill in Fairfield, CT. Service, food, and drinks were great there, and because of that, Geronimo’s was well deserving of our money. Taco Loco and untrained staff like Alex could learn more about customer service to avoid negativity in their restaurant such as Alex created.

I had not been here in about 6 years because our last meal here was underwhelming to say the least. I was on Google tonight and saw it had gotten some great reviews so we decided to try it again. It was probably the worst meal I have ever had anywhere. It makes me think these great reviews are fake. I wish I could have gotten my money back . The food was tasteless, the guacamole was not fresh but from a package like you can buy at the grocery store, the tortilla soup was like water with chunks of chicken and squash? , never had that before...the tacos were just salty chunks of chicken with no flavor at all Literally all around the worst food ever save your money .

Food and service were great! Prices for drinks and food were very reasonable. So far the best all around experience at a Mexican restaurant in the area. 2 people with drinks apps and dinners was about $100.

Amazing wings and crab cakes yet crab cakes we're a little expensive when u compare size to value.... Tacos are ok still a little dry soft tacos... But I can't forget how friendly the staff are and the music was ok..... Over all I would recommend this place as it's good and absolutely fresh .

I was @ A-1 Toyota today and they had this truck so I decided to try a taco. After the first bite,I said WOW how can a taco taste so good.? Most taco's in CT. are bland because they are part of a restaurant chain .The only great taco's I had were in Texas and California.Well this truck tops them. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients.One vegetable does not overwhelm the others.They found the perfect blend.Also we cannot forget the crew that prepared the meal.They were friendly and kind.

We only get down to this part of the state to eat at Taco Loco once per year or so but the food never disappoints. The Service is great and the tequila selection is as well.

The food was good. Service was mediocre. But, if you want the full on Mexican restaurant vibe and experience, this isn't it. Clearly the staff doesn't know the difference between Salsa, raggaeton, jarocho, banda, etc... Listening to Daddy Yankee and Pitbull while eating my lunch was cool, but I was assuming Mexican restaurants would play the role completely, even with their music choice.

Max and I met with Zach from Taco Loco a little less than a year before the wedding after exchanging a handful of emails explaining the vibe we wanted for our wedding. We met at their brick and mortar location with a few friends to see if it was right for us. The food and service was outstanding, and we booked right on the spot. Zach was great with communicating with us, and was very flexible since we lived out of state, and our wedding was in Litchfield County. The day of the wedding, they were seamless. There was never a line for food, the staff was incredibly kind and everyone was so pumped to eat Tacos. Additionally, Zach was there! It was such an unexpected surprise, and we were so happy that he was able to witness it all.

The food was good but my party of two and a few others in the restaurant felt EXTREMELY uncomfortable as one of the servers (a young lady) stood and stared at us eating in an effort to get us to leave. This was about 35 mins before closing time. It worked. We left...never returning.

Horrible customer service. Called beforehand, drove half an hour to get there and they turned us away at the door, we could see empty tables and they were open for another hour and 15 min. Said we could not sit at bar, and They have no tables. I replied i can see empty tables from here, and he just said "sorry". We were dressed fine, not in jeans or anything. How can you turn away paying customers like that? I heard good things, but now I wont know, because they wouldnt let us in. Horrible!!

We had the truck for my daughter’s first birthday, Taco Loco was amazing! The truck was on time, very polite workers and everything was delicious! They also were great about clean-up. I wish I could have them at every party!

Food was terrible, no taste what so ever. The meat tasted dirty and it’s way too over priced for the quality. Customer service was also bad, the server wouldn’t go to our table unless we called her and it wasn’t even busy. She kept on insisting to wrap up our food but honestly it wasn’t worth wrapping up. Get a new cook ASAP or you’ll run out of business

Taco Loco is a wonderful place to dine on Mexican food and accompanying drinks. The staff is helpful, courteous and attentive, and their training is obvious. I have taken away a star because of the noise level. Hard surfaces and an open area bar cause voices and sounds to be magnified.

Delicious Food, Immaculate Truck, Lovely People We recently rented the Taco Loco Party Truck for an event celebrating our sons middle school graduation. It was all truly fantastic, an experience that I would rate a "10!" The food was delicious and beautifully presented; the truck was absolutely immaculate; the team of cook, server and assistant were lovely very fine people who truly cared and did a wonderful job in making all of the 25 kids, as well as adults happy, satiated, and smiling. It was a great way to handle dinner that was lots of fun for the kids, and very fairly priced.

Taco Loco has been a community staple for decades. The food is carefully prepared, and distinctively delicious. I had their Chili Verde pork burrito special, they need to get that on the regular menu! Generous portions and well priced. Service is fast and friendly. The outdoor seating is a delight. They have done well and will continue to be a favorite when I visit CT.

I booked the food truck for an event. They were attentive and accommodating to all the details. On the day of the event, the food was stellar. All guests were happy with the selection. The churros were a hit. I highly recommend them and would definitely book again if the need arose.

I do a lot of traveling to West Texas and New Mexico and have been to a lot of Mexican restaurants. When I return home I usually go to our local Mexican restaurant to compare and I am usually disappointed with the food. This past weekend I returned from one of my trips and was greatly surprised by Taco Loco. I was at a party which was catered by the Taco Loco Party Truck. Grant you, the food was all tacos, but they were very favorable. The taste of the tacos were due to the marinade and spices they use on the meats. In addition, the tortillas were very fresh. The sides consisted of Spanish rice, refried beans and a avocado salad. All sides were very good. I am not sure how the rest of the menu is, but I am willing to take a road trip to Bridgeport to find out.

Its very hard to find a GOOD Mexican restaurant in CT. THIS PLACE IS TO DIE FOR!! The food is ALL fresh and not made from preserved and you could really taste how homemade each meal is prepared. This place takes its time to make sure food comes out hot and fresh . If you have not given this place a try, you should definitely add it to your bucket list ! Happy new years
