What's not to love? The minute you walk in you feel like your family just greeted you. The food is superb with flavorful classic dishes. Great energy and vibe here. Make reservations as this place fills up quickly. Worth the wait.

Always consistent food. Right quality, right price, right quantity. There is no competition to their “Soon to be famous garlic bread”, which by the way is already famous. The staff there is so friendly, and get along so well, you feel welcome to go there. Being a vegetarian, I am glad to have so many options there. Their house bread comes with a sundried tomato cream cheese, which also is one of a kind I have had in Hartford. Working in downtown, I keep going there pretty often. Greatly recommend it to anyone in Hartford for leisure or business.

Fantastic food and service. The highly recommended flat bread pizza was delicious. We also recommend it. Our group ordered Greek salad, couple of flatbreads(it was a hit!). For the main I ordered pasta with sauce which was decadent(see the pic!) Overall, Large portions and great tasting food. We will be coming back.

Another outstanding dining experience at Salute! Not sure what's better, the feast or the service (or the cheesy garlic bread ;-). Donavan is hilarious and very accommodating, and the management of this fine italian experience is superb. Hartford's Pearl of Trumbull St.

Salute was absolutely amazing. We went without a reservation ( not advisable), the place was packed as it was peak dinner time. We were really lucky to get a table for a party of 4. The ambience was great, our waiter was pleasant and service was surprisingly not slow. Everyone in my party loved their food, and we all got free biscotti to take home. Best biscotti I ever had.

This is hands down the best restaurant in Hartford. You are made to feel like family. All of the owners are in the front of the house delivering food and seating guests. They all know your name even though you have only told them one time. Certainly a very special place. I will continue to eat here every anniversary and special event. They treat my date and I like royalty. Not to mention the food is absolutely amazing. Keep up the great work!

What a place! It is easy to see why Salute is the best restaurant in Hartford. Raphael, our server, took such good care of us and the owners made us feel at home! The food is amazing and the atmosphere is perfect. Five stars for sure! Thank you, Salute for an amazing end to our anniversary adventure.

This place was awesome. We went there on a recommendation from a local while we were up in Connecticut. It's a crazy, bustling, joint but it's classy and the food is fantastic. The staff is super friendly. If I lived closer, I'd go often. I would definitely put it on your list of places to go if you're in the area. I would encourage you to make a reservation. They stay pretty busy

We went here before a show at the bushnell and were very impressed. Food was good (chicken parmesan with spaghetti squash) service was great. The host was super nice. Would recommend and I will be going back!

Very average. Ordered the Pork Tenderloin, Bolognese pasta, Chicken a la Villa, and a side of plain pasta. All lacked flavor. Garlic cheese bread was excellent. Overall I'd say a one and done place to visit.

We usually like this place but on this day I have to give it a 3 star rating. The food was just sub-par at best and lacked flavor. I guess the AC in the building broke down on the day we were there so the building was hotter than hell. We did not see a manager to apologize for the heat or explain why it was so hot. On a good note the bar tender were awesome and the drinks were spectacular.

Salute is a Hartford staple. The food is great. It's reasonably priced and of great quality. The happy hour is awesome, and lasts all night long on Mondays! The vibe is positive and lively. Staff is friendly and helpful. Salute makes the regular rotation of places to go to for it's goodness! And eat the cheesy garlic bread. You'll not be disappointed.
