We came here one morning and my dad's food was cold and he whined about it the entire time. He is such a baby. I got the chicken sandwich and they put mozzarella sticks on top of it which I thought was fantastic. Different Strokes for different folks I guess

Just picked up some to-go food, French toast, Yukon gold potato honefries, bacon and corned beef hash. The service was great and really fast. The staff here is the best!!!! The food is excellent very tasty and always hot and fresh. Great place with a large variety of menu item's. A place for all ages and taste, open late and the price point is mid-range, affordable with large portions.

As far as diners go, this one was not the best ever. Friendly service, fast, however some food was cold on arrival and breakfast items like sausage... They basically have the cheapest oncore type patties and "scrambled eggs" are clearly carton based pre scrambled. I would come again if the food quality were improved over "high school lunch room" grade.

Everything you'd expect from a diner. typically stop for 2 eggs over easy with home fries, sausage and white toast. Sausages are the good cased breakfast links not typical brown and serve. Coffee mug is never empty at the counter and the wait staff picks up on your routine by the second time you've visited.

Rude waitress. We never got utensils besides a spoon with the coffee or even a napkin. It’s kind of hard to eat eggs and potatoes with a spoon. But no waitress ever came by for us to ask for them. Also never got the one refill on the coffee we asked for. The waitress only came over to demand our order and to give us the check.

Generous portions with very reasonable prices. Perfectly friendly (not too much you can't have a conversation but my coffee cup was NEVER empty). Very efficient staff. Very considerate too! Extra napkins from the get go. We live a few towns away but the trip was well worth it and are already planning to come back.

This place used to be good a few years ago but has really gone downhill. First off shocked that they changed their hours and close at 10pm! Should not be called a diner unless you're open till at least one. Place smells really bad and food is average. Found a bug in in my sandwich and drink. Not recommending this place to anyone.

I have had good meals from there and some not so good. I tend to stick to the diner "classics" like a club sandwhich or a breakfast item like a waffle. Those always seem to be consistant. Weekends are CRAZY though, I'd avoid the mid morning rush at all costs- there will be a wait for sure!

Love the variety of breakfast. All day too. The wait staff seems to be very attentive throughout . However on several occasions when it was time for the check , you couldn't get the attention because they were at the register on the phone. But otherwise very good

Absolutely lived this place. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. I wish I remembered the name of our server but I can't remember his name for the life of me, was excellent and very friendly. Will absolutely be returning to this diner. Highly recommend it if you're in the area.

Stopped here on my way to Florida and I have to Say it was fantastic!!! So clean, the staff was friendly and the food was great.. breakfast had a wonderful Mexican flare to it !!! It was a nice change . I highly recommend it!

Really good! Staff A+, Cleanliness A+ The coleslaw , also an A, as its the long stringy type, lighter than most and not too wet. BLT sandwich came out quick, very good. Leafy green lettuce. Cream of tomato soup, a bit too salty for me, but worth the stop. Counter is deep in the restaurant, out of the main traffic.

I visit this diner like clockwork every 6 weeks while my dog is being groomed! I always sit in the same chair at the counter and am always made to feel like I'm part of the family! The owner always recognizes me and gives me personal attention! As a local business owner myself I understand the importance of personal service! I recommend this place to anyone I get into a diner conversation with! The food is good and comfortable! 5 stars!

My first time (went with regulars Bob and Yvie) and I was thoroughly impressed by the food, the staff, and the atmosphere. Lola was no "showgirl;" she was more like an angel as were the rest of the staff and owner. I already know what I'm trying next...the stuffed peppers. The pot roast I had was filling and delicious. It was so good that I treated myself to the cheesecake which was to die for. See ya soon.

The food is actually really freakin delicious here. I've had breakfast and dinner foods and everything is very well cooked and seasoned. This place has the best Cobb salad I've ever eaten. They use fresh, high quality ingredients and it really shows in the food. Cons are no red wine vinegar, only balsamic, and the service is hit or miss, but the food is worth it.

My son and I love Riverdale. We had a great waitress. I hope that she didn't get in trouble after we left. She gave us the wrong check and it took the manager some time to find the right check. He wasn't happy but I gave her a big tip because she was very good. My son and I didn't think that it was a big deal and he's also a server.

It is alwas a pleasure to come here and relax eat and have good conversation wich in this world with technology everyone is on the phone at the time of eating on the diner table those things can wait spend quality time with your love ones and turn off your devices at the table. Short story, great diner, good food, and great atmosphere. This is a very large diner so even if the parking lot looks full the wait for a table will be short. The wait staff was very attentive and we never wanted for water or coffee. The food was very good (I don't think I ever enjoyed home fries as much) . Their corned beef has is one of the best in the area. I almost forgot to mention the water glasses and coffee mugs are big so you can get a lot of mileage out of them

I love this place! They have a great variety of food at decent prices. My family tries to come in at least once a month for a meal here since we don't eat out a whole lot. We've lived in the area about 2 years and Riverdale Diner was the first place we ate at, and I haven't had a better breakfast since (unless, of course, I make my own)! There are times it gets super busy where you have to wait up to an hour to be seated and things like utensils, napkins, and drinks fall to the wayside. But other than that, the staff is wonderful, the food is great, and you can't beat the atmosphere!

Excellent food and service. I hadn't been before and I had a hash omelette. Some of the best hash I've had, and the eggs were perfect. Wife got the brunch omelette which was also fantastic. I would get the diablo hash if you like spicy food.

We had breakfast and my child ordered the country fried steak with sides of potatoes and an English muffin. The gravy on the steak was cool so it was not appetizing to her. She also never received her English muffin. We could not request it as the waitress never checked on us until we were done eating. I had an omelette with rye toast. There was no jam at tye table and I couldn't request it as the waitress never returned until we were done with our meal and she had the bill.

I had the Turkey dinner but it came to my table with only stuffing, no mashed potato. Who ever heard of a Turkey dinner with no mashed potato?? Portion was small for a diner portion. I'm used to huge portions from most any other diner. Would I go back? Maybe if I had no other choice. If you go, expect average food and portions on the small side.

Refused to take my to go order at 7:58am because they are getting busy EVEN AFTER I told her my father is bed bound and I can’t bring him there. Seriously, if your trying to get an elderly man something to eat you shouldn’t be refused, a paying customer is a paying customer.

Most people even at home, like to see the cup of joe, before any food. That cup of joe will bring up that person's mood for the day. Today at this diner the food was put on the table before my coffee and my day was shot. I know is nearly impossible, I wished I had my Joe before the order. Food was ok, but I only saw my waiter 4 times, while taking the order, bringing the food, later the Joe and finally the check. I had to asked the waiter serving the table next to me, for things I needed and needless to say more joe.
