Worst ever, what food they had was old and crusty, half the buffet was empty. Never been so disappointed with a buffet even if the food is less than stellar, at least there is usually food at an all you can eat buffet. Then to top things off we encountered a RAT, thats right a RAT, not a mouse absolutely horrifying. Do yourself a favor and steer clear

If you have ever been to a "good" Brazilian steakhouse, such as Fogo de Chao in Indianapolis, or Churrascaria Plataforma in NYC, Planeta Brazil will make you want to vomit. Instead of presenting you with delicious cuts of beef, lamb ,and chicken, Planeta Brasil serves up overcooked sausage and dried out chicken plus many poor cuts of meat wrapped in bacon and stuffed with cheese, all for the "low" price of $30 per person. Do not waste your time or money here. You will be better off driving to a better quality Brazilian steakhouse, or, just go to Mina's Carne in Danbury, both options will give you better quality.

It is a little bit different from your normal Brazilian steakhouse where they come over to you in here you go up to the grill and get your fill of different meat on the stick from the grill, which by the way is the expertly prepared by the owner. However the wait staff has something to be desired, while not that busy of a night and minimal duties compared to other restaurants they were super hard to get a hold of and took their time.

If you like rodizo style churascuria then this place will serve you well. There are lots of Brazilian places to eat in this town and this is one of the higher end places in Danbury. It's not Plataforma, Texas de Brazil or Fogo de Chao but it's good and a good spot for lunch or dinner.

I LOVE churrasqueiras, and I'm so glad we've got a true Brazilian style steakhouse in Danbury... the food was excellent and very delicious! I didn't love the ambience/decor, but hopefully that will change with the recent change in ownership.

I was going in to the restaurant to enjoy a meal thank god I didn’t the place was packed as I tried to park in the back of the restaurant by kitchen and dumpsters there were RATS all over the place it looked like a colony of them by the kitchen door and dumpsters. Garbage all over the place no wonder they have a RAT infestation problem.

The ambiance is welcoming. We chose the buffet option and were pleased. The buffet has many options and tasted fresh. The meat is slow-cooked rotisserie style. The choices are plentiful and cooked perfectly. We really liked the flavor and tenderness of the brisket and top sirloin. Our server was kind and made sure we had what we needed. The cappuccino and Galaio are delicious as well! We'll definitely be back and would recommend that you try this restaurant .

Very dirty restaurant the ceiling had stains all over it, food wasn't great, really salty, dishes were dirty the buffet definetly wasn't worth it, no variety. Was a special occasion the whole party was only talking about how disgusting the food was, quite embarrassing actually.

Great food at a great price! They have a by the lb. option or a eat all you want price and both were reasonable. I ate by the lb. and my husband ate the all you can eat. The garlic steak and regular steak were both delicious. They had a salad bar and a sided bar that had many dishes like rice and beans, fried fish, some potatoe dishes, some pasta options etc. We've been back many times since.

The meat was the highlight of our meal. The salad bar pickings were slim and not seasoned as well as the meat. I read other reviews that did if it's meat you want then this is your place. I agree. The meat was seasoned well, it was smoking hot, every piece was delicious.

Awesome place with a wide selection of food to choose from. Fresh BBQ meat, chicken wings, and sausages. It's rather on the expensive side compare to other places but in my opinion, it really is worth it. My choice for Brazilian bbq in the Danbury area.

We've been to Brazilian restaurants all over CT and the USA and this is our favorite place. Best Brazilian food we've had in the US and even some restaurants in Brazil! Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious! Large place and it looks like they have live music sometimes. Good selection of food, and the prices are better than most other Brazilian all you can eat places if you go Monday through Friday.

I am still recovering from my experience, after 3 helpings of pepto bismol and ginger ale. We went at 3, no idea how long the food was out and many things barely warm so no wonder something spoiled. The meat had such a hard crust, was over salty and clearly soaked in a marinade for too long! Could not taste the meat at all!! Everything tasted like the same marinade. The rice and potatos I had were ok I have been to Rio and ate authentic BBQ before. This was a rip off...I dont care how much meat you have, it was all poor quality and way over seasoned. Forget the Buffet, start with getting better quality meat and let its taste and juices shine through

Horrible experience!!!! When I called and asked if they did the skewer meat to table they said yes but was told after we were seated they didn’t. The steak was so over done you couldn’t chew. They told me kids were 10.99 and 1yr old baby was free but charged 19.99 per child and 10.99 for baby. When I said something they then removed the charge for the baby but then added all the deserts which we thought was included. The poor waiter had no say so his boss was over managing and even rang up our bill from the start but came over quite obviously to look to see how old the kids were. Such a $200 plus negative experience!! Will never go back!!

The only Rodizo around; couple that with good food, attentive service and friendly staff. It's not the most outrageous in terms of the variety of buffet items, but they're all delicious. And, there is no beating their price. Go, and enjoy.

The inside of this place is very nice and organized. The servers are prompt and kind but this place isn't that great. There is one hot good station that has 6 options, all of which were pretty cold. The cold food section didn't look appealing so I didn't grab anything. I know a lot of Brazialians and the food they cook is phenomenal, this is not that. The rice was cold and hard, and pastas lacked any flavor. The meat station was pretty good but the chicken wings didn't have a flavor that made them stand out. Super bland options. If you're solely interested in meat this place may be for you, but other than that it's nothing special.

Boyfriend and I have been here multiple times and while the food is delicious, They’ll probably try and steal your money like they stole mine today for whatever reason. Nowhere does anything say the tip is included, and never has it ever been. I always leave my own tip just like I did today, in the jar. And the man at the register decided I guess that it would be okay to add on over 7$ to my bill without my permission. After going back in and asking about the charge the waitress now behind the counter lied straight to my face and said it is “always included on the bill” no it isn’t, but okay. These people are thieves.

Been there a few times, the waiters only come around once for drinks when you sit down and never return to ask if you'd like more to drink. Their service is horrendous but the food is good. I also just noticed they automatically charged 20 percent tips at the end when you're paying. When I already left a tip at the table! They don't make it clear they charge this? And shrug it off as if they don't understand what your saying... Especially with the bad service the waiters provide, it may be why!!... I wont be coming back anytime soon after noticing they charged me double tip..... Finally realized it after the math didn't add up and I was wondering why it was ending up being so expensive after calculating what it should cost 2 meals, 2 drinks plus tax... Don't come here if you want a get played....

The sausages and chicken off the rotisere were really good. The rest of the buffet was just depressing. Everything looked old. There were these gross ancient looking eggs. And the fresh fruit behind the glass counter was crawling with flies.

Brisket meat was Fatty and chewy no flavor, Sirloin garlic horrifying taste. I'm staying with my favorite location MINAS CARNE . They added there owne tip and gratuity I was like @#%% take that off I've never had an experience like this before. If your gonna go please check your Bill and other.

Not too happy with the food. The items in the buffet had been sitting for a VERY long time, wilted/soggy veggies and salmon so dried out it was like eating a ceiling tile. The meats aren't brought around to the tables as advertised, you go up to the counter, which is fine. But only offered "medium or well done" meats, while we prefer rare to medium-rare. Other, possibly regular customers, we're able to request the better, not overcooked, meats for some reason. We won't be going back for dried out, overcooked food. It was disappointing.

This steakhouse was amazing! My girlfriend and me went out to lunch after we dropped our car off at Monroe mufflers and the atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable. The wait staff was very inviting to the both of us even though we only spoke English. They are also multilingual so for a great lunch or a hot date this is the place to go!

Amazingly affordable, yet delicious food. It has become our new favorite place since we stopped in by chance around Valentine's day. They have an "all you can eat" price and a weigh-by-plate price. The "sides" are buffet style and then you go to the meat counter and pick out your meats. The sides were also delicious. They had the classic Brazilian sides like rice and beans, plantains, etc but they also have fried fish, pasta and a little salad bar. They do allow you to come in and get take out. Very friendly staff - the owner was present and greeting the regulars and new comers like us. The decor is VERY basic and maybe that's why its such a low price but who cares what it looks like as long as it's clean and the food is great!
