The food was very good. The serving was big. I asked for an extra plate immediately to split my plate into a friendlier Weight Watcher semi approved portion.My friend was equally as scared as me to try something new but also liked it.This hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant is such a hidden gem! My vegetable lo-mien was delicious and the chicken and broccoli was also really good.

Absolutely terrible! Couldn’t even spend $5 on actual containers. My styrofoam Container leaked all over my new car , along with spilling all out before I could even get to it. You are basically paying for fried rice because there’s 0 chicken in the food. WASTE of $30. Do better.

I've been coming to this restaurant for about a decade and although they have changed management, they have very constantly good quality food at great prices. Menu items labeled as spicy are actually spicy but not overpowering.

Horrible service. I didn't get my complete take out order. Also as I was walking into the restaurant I found a small child's toy. I gave it to the owner as I'm sure it's being missed by that child. She said oh no you take it I don't want it. OMG .....I called back to tell them I didn't get the complete order and she said oh well I so sorry. That was it!!! I will never go there again......

Only good things were the crab rangoons and chicken fingers got a pu pu platter for 2 with a side of rice and crab rangoons and paid 37 bucks expensive if you ask me it said on the menu boneless ribs friend shrimp chicken fingers beef teriyaki chicken wings there was no shrimp no boneless ribs horrible RIP off dont go here! buyers beware!

Customer service is horrible. Make sure you check your order before you leave. I took my order, and headed home. When i got home i was missing a meal. I called peacock to let them know what i was missing. They asked for my receipt number. I gave them the info. The lady on the phone says she has no history of that transaction. I told her i was just there. She continued to say she didn't know what was going on. I went back to show her my receipt. She still wouldn't give me my missing meal. I was out of $17. So much for great customer service. I guess they like to steal people's money.

Excellent old style Chinese restaurant you used to be able to find. Great for splitting a couple of plates three or four ways. More of a comfort food place than healthy/nutritious place. Gets a lot of takeout orders, but has good table service.

Peacock has the best Chinese food around. Unfortunately, they do not deliver. My family had a tradition of ordering from here on New Years Eve for several years as I was growing up, through high school. We weren't the only ones! The lunch & dinner specials are HUGE! If you eat in, you most likely will go home with left overs! I love the warm fresh chips they serve as your waiting. Egg rolls are big and amazing! Peacock is MY FAVORITE Chinese food restaurant!!

Ordered there a couple months ago. Highly disappointed found hair in my food. Called them up to tell them that and was told don’t bother coming in were not refunding you your money after spending $60 got cursed at in Chinese or whatever language they speak. Should have reported them.

My husband loves their Chinese food. If I mention getting take out he always wants Peacock! The portions are a great size for the price and the food is always ready for pick up. He has been going for many years and has spent many nights with his friend here getting dinner. He love their duck sauce, egg rolls and general Ching's chicken. It's his family tradition to go here for New Years. It is definitely a landmark in our family.

Food was old. Tasted like it was old reheated food. Soda tastes like the machine hadn't been cleaned. Everything was super oily. Will never go there again. Plus it was very pricey for 2 meals and 2 sodas and an order of wings was almost $40. Wings were also old and tasted like they were sitting so long or they were drenched in beer. This place is horrible.

Great stop for inexpensive Chinese food. The old standbys are here, as are a few new and different items. The inside isn't really meant for dining - plan on takeout - and is quite smokey. Loved the szwchwan lo mein - well-cooked noodles with a good mix of proteins and vegetables. Trio Kung Pao Combination was also excellent. The owner warned me it was heavy on the peanuts, and she was right, but it's still quite good. More well-cooked proteins with lots of veggies and a slight kick to the sauce. The fried dumplings were a bit disappointing - more shell than filling, and a bit rubbery. Still, I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Norwich.

Boy was I pleasantly surprised to be so wrong! Their pan fried dumplings alone are worth the visit. They're about 1/2 the size of my fist and delicious to boot! Also, their house rice is loaded with goodies like pork, chicken, egg, and more. I really enjoyed my visit and will be going back for sure!

Best take-out Asian restaurant on the east side of Springfield. Service is fast, food is delicious and they always give you way more than you can possibly eat. We find the dining area to less positive, so that's why we recommend the takeout option.

Loyal Customer for 25+ years. Just picked up a $160 order a couple days ago. One of the dumplings had a large piece of plastic in it, looked like a plug of some sort. We brought it back to show them and they would not accept responsibility for it whatsoever. Why would I drive all the way there to show it to them? I was not looking for a refund but an apology would have been the honorable thing to do. I guess their true colors showed through. We have spent thousands of dollars at Peacock over the years. So much for customer service. They are not honest!!! Don't go there if you want a trustworthy restaurant.

After going to Wong Wok for YEARS we decided to go to Peacock one day, and we've never left. Their food is hot and delicious, and their service is phenomenal. The place is a little dated but the atmosphere is good and you won't care once you're eating. If I could give more stars i would.
