The food is here is South Indian and not the everyday Indian food you get at all the other Indian places. Loved the masala dosas and the chutneys. Appropriately spiced and lots of varieties. They even have a couple of north Indian dishes if you get a craving just in case. The staff are the best and will try and get things for you even if they are not listed in the menu.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Hartford area.. Have been a regular here for the last two years.. Authentic South Indian food.. Love the manchatti soru.. that is their signature dish.. Good South Indian food not far from route 91 in Bloomfield. Their lunch buffet offers 3 vegetarian entrees, four entrees with meat, and dosa. Delicious, spicy, tangy rasam. The place fills up with local business folks at lunch time, and the buffet is kept hot and fresh. Definitely stop there for a spicy, delicious, and healthy lunch.

It's average tried dinner once. I took my family there after i tasted their food we order for one of our office parties. Although the food we ordered in office party was very good but came very disappointed when we went there for dinner at the restaurant.i don't know why it was different but the quality of food was drastically different.

The buffet has varieties of choices for who are vegetarian and who are not. Everything was tasty and more spicy that I'm used to but not exaggerated. The place is big enough to go with a big group. The mangolassi was heavenly! The staff was very helpful and nice.

Over half the chicken had bones where they were Not meant to be, even got a chip in the vegetable mix... bland. Told then I had a severe allergy and they pointed out what was free of it... 3 of the 5 things they said didn't have it ...had it.... fun... the naan was good... they were great the the first time then lacking the second and it's just not worth bringing anyone now. What happened....

Based on very good reviews, I invited two of my friends to Naatiya in Bloomfield for the buffet lunch. I was expecting more extensive vegetarian varieties, very disappointed. For starters, the pakoras were practically tasteless, mushy not crispy the way they should be, and there was no mint sauce to flavor them. The raita was equally bland. The sambar was actually just colored hot water with a few vegetables thrown in. If you want to taste good sambar, go to Priya in Rocky Hill. The only two vegetable dishes were mushy with a hint of spices. I was hoping that at least the dosa would be flavorful. Sadly, it too was extremely disappointing. The wrapping itself was OK, but the potato filling was absolutely bland. Finally the rice, well you guessed it, completely without taste. Try India Restaurant in West Hartford for superb rice, though their food was mediocre. All in all an experience I desperately want to forget. Wish I could give it a zero star.

A great assortment of both South and North Indian food in central Connecticut. Unlike many other Indian restaurants in the area, Naatiya has a wide spread of South Indian food too including dosas, idlis and upma. The food has always been fresh (both at the buffet and a la carte) and the service has been consistently prompt and friendly. If you pay with cash you can get a discount on your meal, many times up to 10%. Overall, great value for the money you pay. Parking is really convenient as well.

They intentionally delay giving complimentary dosas for lunch buffet at your table. They wait to see you are about to finish lunch and then the server with dosas show up magically. I noticed it couple times and called them out last time.

The buffet was good. The food was spicy and they had a wide spread menu. I went there for dinner again a few days ago but the quantity of the food offered is less. I ordered two dishes one was a spicy Andhra chilly chicken as a appetizer and a chicken based rice dish for the main course. The quantity that was offered for the price they were charging was way less. Other than that the staff were friendly.

The staff is very friendly and their service was great. I work just down the road and started going the other day but I can tell I will be frequent there, definitely won this foodie over.

Been there for buffet lunch today, for sure not a place for veggies as there are hardly any options and also the kadai paneer had hardly any count of panner in the bowl and the naan was way to thick. The secomd star was for the staff as they were nice and welcoming!

Food is really good, but I ordered take out and when I got home I realized there was no utensils to eat my food with. So I called back to let them know that they didn't put utensils in my bag and they told me that they don't do that. They only give out utensils upon request.

Very nice restaurant and bar. The food tastes great. Mostly south Indian dishes for buffet. This place can get crowded during lunch and dinner time and you may need to wait to get seated. This is the only go to place in whole of Windsor and Bloomfield for people who want to taste authentic Indian food. They offer a discount if you pay cash. Staff is nice and courteous.

Good food. I'm a south Indian myself, grew up there half my life and I can vouch for this food. 100% authentic tasting, just the right amount of spice. Ask for masala tea at the end of your buffet or meal, they make it very good. And just for folks that are not familiar with south Indian food, whenever you see idly or dosa in the menu, you should either dip it in sambhar or coconut chutney for best taste.

Nice place.but less space. We visited on Friday afternoon for lunch buffet. Please go early before 12 on Friday otherwise it's very crowded and you'll have to wait in a long queue. Service was fast and efficient.you get unlimited dosa freshly prepared and directly delivered to your plate with your regular buffet. Now come to the food. There is clear difference in quality in North Indian food and south Indian foods you can experience here.idli and meduwada was one of the best among Indian restaurants here. Avial and curd rice was also very good. Chicken Vindaloo was also awesome. But chicken Tikka masala was not so good. Tandoori chicken was also not very juicy and up to the mark.chana masala was also ok ok. Now coming to price...it's total worth...$12 around per person is the cheapest in the area for a lunch and this is inclusive of taxes. So overall a must try option for some great south Indian food.

It's a good restaurant for Indian food in Windsor, Connecticut. I went there during the launch time. They serve buffet over there. But if you need dosha then you have to ask for it. They will make it for you. Food tastes good. But they have poor selection of starter and desert. They needs to add more item in their starter and desert section. They might add some fruit salad or any kind of available fruits in their menu. Otherwise this is a good place to have your launch with very reasonable price.

I have been eating Indian food my entire life including all over Asia, and this is one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to and it’s right in my hometown! The Lasuni gobi appetizer is one of the best dishes I have ever had. It is like a spicy garlic friend cauliflower. The Kadai Murgh is my favorite entree, every time I get it I have a hard time believing how good it is. There are 10 other dishes I could recommend but these are my 2 favorites. All of the chicken dishes and the eggplant dishes are fantastic. I’m not sure why they only have 4.3 stars, this place deserves higher for how good the food is. Lastly, their dosas are incredible as well!
