I gave this restaurant 5 stars not because of the food but because of the customer service!!!! The food was good but the waitresses were stellar. They did their job with so much joy that I took away the valuable lesson of enjoy doing what you do. All three greeted me taking my somber mood to a very jovial one. Sue specifically was my and my boss's waitress and she smiled the whole time while serving. She brought a new meaning to service with a smile. I look forward to going back.

Maples is a family restaurant/diner. The service is fast and friendly. The food is not fancy, but fresh and plentiful. Locals bring the family and people who work nearby go for lunch. Try the Reuben, or the Cobb salad, or have breakfast for dinner :)

Ate there tonite with my husband. The prime rib was very tough and tastless My husbands fish and chips also awful. I gave 2 stars for the good service we received. Sad because I was disappointed when I first tried this place last Spring. I decided to give it a second try...ditto

At first we came in and we thought it had strange odor but dont be fooled by this it has the best service I have ever had. We had accidentally broke the over head light at our booth and the staff immediately came over and brought us all new food with out question. The food was wonderful comfort food and not to mention eggplant french fries, WHAT. Amazzzzzzing.

It was my first visit to Maples Restaurant and I was not disappointed. The wait staff were friendly and our order was taken promptly. The food came out quickly and was delicious. Get the pumpkin pancakes when you can!!! They are to die for.

Food was good, waitress was attentive. Hostess did not bring menus, I got up to ask for them. Also offered no assistance when trying to maneuver doors to exit with my husband in a wheelchair. Would give 5 stars for waitress and food. One star for hostess. I guess that averages to a 3.

I came with a few friend on a Saturday night and the food was disgusting I had a tom turkey dinner and the turkey was not cooked, just covering in chuncky gravy, another problem was one of my friends ordered a drink from the bar and they were out so he picked another that was out to. Overall Maples is not a good restaurant and 90% of there servers suck and the hostes was rood the food is days old and grizzly\ not always cooked I was sick the day after throwing up that turkey and mashed potatoes also my friend had stomach problems when he got the pot roast I think they don't cooked any meat all the way through they just heat it up in the microwave.

The restaurant wasn't too nice but the staff were friendly enough. The food wasn't very good. Potatoes were soggy from grease and the entire plate of food was tasteless. Person next to me had salmon and it was drenched in butter.

Wonderful family style restaurant! Terrific food? Lots of it, actually, I always being home leftovers! The staff cant be beat! They always remember my name. They are so warm and go above and beyond the call of duty to always be sure everything is just perfect! I love Chips, I'm at home there each and every time! I especially love the fact that it's so clean not only inside the restaurant but in the restroom facilities! I'm a previous restaurant owner and cleanliness is vital to me and Chips exceeds my expectations everytime! Keep up the good work and you'll have customers for a lifetime!!

Maples is a restaurant I want to love and 4 out of 5 visits are great. We go there with friends and family for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staying with the 4 out of 5 system the meals are typically very good, exactly what I want and exactly as I expect. We sample quite a bit of the menu. Every now and then though there’s something just not right. The worst was a piece of seafood or fish in with my pasta. I HATE SEAFOOD so that was literally tough to swallow. For breakfast I usually get a blt and a side of home fries. The home fries are hit or miss. When they are a miss they are dry and potatoes a little undercooked. Regardless the good outweighs any negatives and shouldn’t stop you from going. The staff is pretty attentive and always friendly. Service is usually pretty fast. With a little more consistency and better home fries I would add one more star. Prices are about what you would expect for the location and restaurant. One thing I really like is that they will make just about anything any way you want it if they have the ingredients.

The service was great. The menu had a nice selection of dishes including breakfast. The portions were big and the price was average. There is a banquet room in addition to the dinning room and there is also a bar. It was clean and the atmosphere was relaxing.

Had Thanksgiving sandwich, stuffing was filled with chopped peppers, disgusting! The bread fell all apart after one bite but at least the Turkey was moist and delicious. Staff was wonderful!

All day breakfast...what more could you want! It feels like a diner but is a little pricier though the food is worth the extra change. Friendly and efficient service provided. The portions are generous so bring an appetite!

The food is absolutely disgusting this is my second time coming here and first time I had water downed soda and a raw piece of meatloaf the second time I came with a friend and I tried to play it safe by getting spaghetti but I recived penne pasta drowned in disgusting cold sauce they did not even care about my complaints and did not componsate me the only thing I ate was stale bread that they probably got at the day old bread store if you are reading this do not go to this gross toxic food disease house!!

We stopped here on a whim during a road trip with our one year old on a Thursday night. Excellent food, pleasant wait staff, comfortable and clean booths. Eggplant fries are delicious as well as the regular fries.

Food is very good and never had a bad meal here. The service could use some improvement. Sometimes we get a great server and other times we get tired looking servers who do not get the orders correct. Hoping they adjust this so it can become a 5 star!

Terrible service, (they literally take forever everytime I've gone) food presentation not that great. Food is just decent. Been here three times, and three times I've been disappointed . Everytime I've been there they've been understaffed which causes the waitresses (and waiters) to be a little moody since they're under more pressure.

I enjoyed my Turkey meal on Thanksgiving Day even though they closed at 4 pm, was a nice meal but they should include more of the cranberry sauce to the dish , vegatables also, nut all an all was a good taste of the evening then to my delight to finish up my wine splitzer of choice and a gd taste of dessert pumpkin cheesecake with whip cream Awesome !

Not nearly as good as the original Maples Family Restaurant. We stopped here for many years on our family trips to Maine. The original restaurant was paitent with three grumpy kids and their parents. Everyone found something good to eat. The new owners have kept the Yankee Pot Roast, thank goodness.

We order from this restaurant through grubhub or uber eats all the time, and they never disappoint. The eggs are fresh, the meats are good quality and always prepared to order, and there are items on this menu that you just don't see at other restaurants, like their incredible malted milkshake, or their excellent *range* of eggs benedict dishes (including a lovely vegetarian option), or their croissant French toast, or -- well, so many things. We mostly order breakfast here -- which they serve all day -- because the ingredients used are of a better grade than you'd find in most diners, but don't disdain the lunch and dinner options. Of special note: The meatloaf.

My co-workers and I patron Maples Restaurant often. It is the perfect spot for our working lunches or break from the day. Not sure about the negative reviews, as I have only had positive experiences - trust me, I would tell you if I didn't. The staff is always friendly, whether I am dining or picking up. The food is good and the wait staff are incredibly helpful and efficient. It remains my go-to place!

Stay away from this place. If you want to enjoy your breakfast or spend time here with your family there are way better places around. Don’t be fooled by some of these “previous” good reviews left by their own people and employees. The food is horrible, the bacon is like eating bark. Some of the waitresses especially the Asian lady is the most obnoxious person I’ve ever seen in my life. Horrible food and horrible service. Don’t waste your money.
