The best waitress in the world works at this nice and quaint breakfast joint. Probably my favorite part of visiting here is not only the company I get, but also their variety of hot sauces. I'd suggests the Apple bourbon hot sauce, it's my favorite.

One of our go-to breakfast spots in town. Solid comfort food, well prepared, with generous portions. Service is sometimes a little slow, but I don't think we've ever been less than thrilled with our meals here. Good rotating specials. Constant breakfast favorites include the potato pancakes and Mickey Mouse pancake for the kids. Great location downtown.

My boyfriends food was cold. My eggs were like rubber. We waited about 40 minutes for breakfast and three others that came in after us were served first. Coffee tasted sour. Our waitress NEVER came to ask if everything was ok. Not once. We complained to the other waitress about the food and nothing was done about it. She said she could microwave it.NO! Totally unacceptable. Food was nasty. Never go back.

The food was good, but the service was TERRIBLE. Rude and disrespectful waitresses and waited an hour for a breakfast sandwich and an omelet while everybody else around us was getting their food, including a family of 6 who got there after us. Never going there again.

My wife and I love to go out for breakfast and Main Street Grille is a favorite stop. Everything it's fresh and the staple menu items have never disappointed us, especially the sweet potato home fries! Even better, they have a list of specials that actually are special. My only complaint is the atmosphere is really underwhelming and they need something to spruce up the place. Either way, don't let that stop you from visiting this great little gem in downtown Putnam.

Great service and food cooked the way you ask. Lots of booths & tables, so you can have the tables pushed together for large groups. Emphasis on breakfast and sandwiches, but there are full course meals,too, but not abundantly. Parking is sometimes at a premium.

Hands down they have the best service around. The head chef comes out and gives me pickles every time I come in because he knows how much I love them. Come on that is awesome! The atmosphere was nice, the food was delivered quickly, and the staff were friendly and attentive, but the food was not what we were expecting. It lacked the flavor and freshness we thought we would get in a local diner. My wife's omlett was $11 and 1/2 the veggies weren't fresh (they were canned/frozen) and the meat and flavor were minimal. It wasn't bad, just not what we had hoped based on the reviews.

I was at the Main st grille and noticed that my debit card was run twice.One with tip and one without.When I called to inquire I was told by the server that answered the phone this happens and they don't know why.I asked for the owner and was told the same thing.That is a horrible response.Never a sorry that happened,we will check into it..its not us it's our bank was the next excuse.Well it's your business and it's up to you to make sure that it is corrected. To be told to wait a few days to see if it drops off is unacceptable. Its unfortunate because I have frequented this establishment for years.This NEVER would have happened with the previous owners.I will never go back.Its a shame.Its not that this happened,its the total lack of action to correct a serious problem that negatively affects your customers. Watch your bank statements .
