I enjoyed eating here and it seems to be a popular place with quite a few customers on a mid afternoon on a weekday. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was good. I will definitely be back to try out some other things. Japanese and Korean items on the menu, so lots of variety to explore.

Ichiban has been around for years and it's easy to see why. I only ever eat the sushi, which is consistently fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. My daughter loves the vegetable dumplings - an appetizer but big enough for a meal. There's loads of other Japanese and Korean dishes to choose from too, including BBQ. The service is good and the prices reasonable. It's our favorite.

This was a first time visit to this fantastic restaurant. The food was hot and delicious. They gave us several bowls of different Korean food to try, ( complementary ) Our waiter was friendly, and helpful especially when asked to describe what several of the dishes were. He gave us great service. We can't wait to go back again!

Not my style. Service is far less than I am use to. Took my wifes order then walked away. When I said I was not done he said OK and never came back. I paid for her small portion and left. I also noticed most of the customers were American. Not to many koreans eat there, may be not so authentic! ! I would not recommend or ever return. It is worth the trip to flushing which is 4 plus hours that's how bad things were.

Sushi is meh. Bibimbap and other korean dishes are bomb tho. Most cost effective item are their bento boxes. You get a ton of food for a reasonable price. I would recommend the bulgolgi bento or the unagi bento.

Check your bank account after you pay to them. They charge different amount than the receipt. When you go overthere to eat in the restaurant they take your sign for a bill with a nice smile and write down 7, 8 $ tips themselves on the bill later and charge you like that. So plz keep the receipt with you and check the bank if you go overthere.

I love this place SO MUCH!!!!!! The servers are nice and they are very knowledgeable on the drinks. They also have great sushi! Our server even took time out to show us how to fold a napkin, Origami style!!!! Thank you Ichiban for being so AWESOME!!!! I keep coming back here not just for the EXCELLENT food but for the exciting time you have here with the servers! 07:56p.m. 3 new origami pictures End result. I thought this place was pretty good for dinner! I went with a friend and we both got different Bento boxes. She got the Kalbi bento box (bbq beef short ribs) and I got the Salmon teriyaki box. Overall I thought the food was pretty tasty and the prices were reasonable!

So far there best sushi I've had in the 5 months I've lived here. Nice atmosphere. Place was super quiet, which made it easy to carry on a conversion. Service staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back. Parking lot is a bit tight, so keep that in mind if you drive a large vehicle.

Clean restuarant. Tasty and fresh food. The sushi is delicious. Whether I order for takeout or sit in, the taste is always great. Host/hostess are smiling and helpful. They do tell you honestly how long a waot and if you should wait or not. I respect that and appreciate it. Parking is not the best at all.

The food is decent. There is better Korean food to be had in West Hartford but this is close to my house so we have gone quite a few times. The biggest problem I have with this place is the service. All the serving staff are fine except for this one female waitress. She is loud and rude and has literally thrown the food on our table.

I've had both the sushi and some of the Korean dishes here and both are absolutely delectable. This place is favorite to a couple of my work friends and I can taste why. The Kimchi Geegae (my picture) was delicious and full of flavor. I finished it off with two creamy pieces of tuna nigiri. Try everything that comes out as an appetizer, it's worth it; especially the kimchi! Everything I was looking for. Definitely recommend.

The banchan was excellent. The gyoza was also good. I wasn't a fan of the bulgogi not self grilled but as I dined with my toddler, you can't grill with one meat. The service was fine not legendary; I must've gone when it wasn't busy and the staff talked amoungst themselves mostly. It was ok overall.

I came here for lunch with some work colleagues on Thursday afternoon. The place filled up pretty quickly and is clearly popular for lunch. The menu is large with a lot of different options, both Chinese and Korean. They have Korean boxes and Japanese Bento boxes on the lunch menu which are quite large. I got the spicy cod fish stew which was absolutely delicious and quite big for the price of $12.The service was friendly and fast with a parking lot onsite. I recommend coming here.
