CAN'T say ENOUGH good about this place!! Been here on multiple different evenings : date night, dinner with the kids, for take-out... it's truly a place I believe even the pickiest eater can find SOMETHING!!

This place was once good but now it's not, plain and simple. And watch your Bill they constantly make attempts at ripping you off since they have to make up for all of the Business their losing since the new crook, I mean manager took over!

We come here often. The sushi deal is outrageous. You can't be it. Been to other places that boast unlimited sushi, Formosa Asian Fusion out does them all. We sit at the bar and the food keeps coming and coming. Plus they have Blue Bunny ice cream!!! :--)

One of the best chinese food restaurant around new haven. Very good enviroment for a chinese restaurant. The spicy boiled fish is amazing. The traditional chinese smoked fish is very impressive, tasting like the one my aunty made! The waitress is very nice in serving us!

I highly recommend the General Tso's and the Pad Thai. The lunch prices are very reasonable and you receive plenty of delicious food. The sushi is okay, not amazing, but not at all bad. The service is always prompt and courteous.

We go there about once a month. Friendly staff remembers where we like to sit, what we like for drinks, who uses chopsticks, etc. Very nice variety of tasty dishes.

The food is good here, and the waitress we had was very friendly and attentive. I've been here a few times over the years and my one dig on the place is that it is really cold inside in the winter. They either dont heat it at all or they keep it at a nice 60 degrees or so. Wear a sweater or something and dig in to the above-local-average food.

It was great. I love the food. I go there all the time so you can tell I must enjoy it. There's a pizza place close by called Guillos don't go there food is disgusting. But this place is excellent.

Genuinely some of the best "chinese food" I've ever had. I put that in quotes because they offer all kinds of asian fusion including japanese, thai and chinese dishes. I ordered sesame chicken, veggie fried rice and lo mein and everything was excellent.

Authentic Chinese dishes, and the small sampling of sushi I had was pretty good for the New Haven area. The prices are reasonable, and being fusion place means you can satisfy two cravings at once. We'll definitely be going back here to talk to Kyla and her kind and attentive staff.

Words for this Restaurant aren't available. Perfect fusion of flavors Asian and European mix. the dandan noodles excellent I have a weakness for crispy duck and Peking duck. Look no further not a piece left. Home style brisket. All of it was over the top. Shopping in North Haven? No Panera or Olive garden 2 miles away on RT 17 huge menu and the owners are jems they keep checking in on you sushi too. Great prices

Awful. They don't change the table linens after each guest. Instead, they wipe the chunks of food off with a dirty rag. The food and service were both terrible. I would definitely avoid the place if you're looking for anything edible. It's far too overpriced when compared to all other restaurants in the area offering the same options. Do not waste your time. Go anywhere else. Seriously. Anywhere else.

Food was great but we got seated at a 4 top even though we were 5 people. We asked several times to sit at a bigger table but they kept saying all the bigger tables were reserved yet no one sat at any of them the entire time we were there. We love this place though and won't let this one odd experience stop us from going! Love the all you can eat menu, it's a great way to try new things.

one more place that can offer very close to real chinese food. Beef tendons is a must try appetizer. Also good options for whole fish dishes, pork and lamb. i like the taste of hot and spicy Chinese dishes.

My absolute favorite Chinese restaurant. From the day they have opened they have been consistant with how they make they're dishes. Delicious food that's not thrown together and true to Asian cooking. A foodie will understand what I mean by this. The sushi melts in your mouth it's so fresh. The mango drink that Raymond makes is top notch. Kudos!

Hadn't been to Formosa for quite some time. The food is incomparably good. Next trip will be sooner rather than later. I'm sorry I'd forgotten just how good it is. The vegetarian hot and sour soup is very god and the twice sauteed pork so much better than most places. Yum.

Website suggests early hours - turns out open 'til 10 (Thurs.) Accent over phone difficult to understand. Went for AYCE sushi. Limited menu, but quality was good. Nothing dynamic. Fairly pedestrian offering. [Spoiled from west coast restaurants.] Server was friendly. Value was good.

The food was fantastic and a fair price. Everything is homemade and tastes just like it, not the cheap takeout food quality. Tried the sushi buffet and it outdid Sushi X or Sushi Palace, for a similar price. This is the type of buffet where you order what you want to eat and it is prepared fresh for you. The kitchen menu for the buffet includes big portions of pineapple fried rice, dan dan noodles, and even vegetable lo mein. Can you ask for anything more? And their sushi options include smoked salmon! All the fish is incredibly fresh, the rolls seasoned beautifully, and presented elegantly. The place itself is very fancy and clean, so there are no complaints. The staff are incredibly nice and attentive. Definitely recommending this place to anybody who is craving authentic Asian cuisine.
