Good Korean and Japanese food. Korean side dishes are served, which are good. I've been here many times, but almost only get Korean food. That's because I can't really get Korean food many other places around here, but Japanese food is common. This place has good food and service. It's not very cheap, but I don't think it's overpriced.

Serg Chernata

Fairly legitimate Korean options that aren't too watered down for the average American. Would definitely come back.

Lots of sushi places in Fairfield County, but not many Korean places, so I go here for the Korean food only. And in particular for the Gop Dol, which is bibimbap served in a sizzling hot stone bowl. Edo's tops theirs with mung bean sprouts, julienned carrots and daikon, sliced zucchini and mushrooms, some wilted greens, an egg, and your protein of choice. Add some gojuchang sauce, and stir it all up, and it's sort of like making fried rice at your table. Delicious. This dish is typically made by adding a raw egg on top, and the diner then stirs the raw egg into the dish, where the hot stone bowl is supposed to cook it. Edo puts a well-done fried egg on top, perhaps owing to food safety concerns.

The sushi was just okay. The fried rice was really good though!

Great Korean. Love the bibimbap . Huge portions, but you pay for it. Service can be a bit slow, but is otherwise excellent

Always my go to food after a long tiring day at work. Prices went up but it’s still worth it! Bibimbop is really good together with the sauce. Side dishes are also good and can always ask for more. Overall, good food! Just wished the price was a little small.

Brian Gaudreault

Good variety of Korean and Japanese dishes.

Service is lacking, Food is mediocre, and the prices are middling to expensive. The sushi in particular is not as good as competing restaurants in the area. It should also be noted that their window hours specifically day lunch is until 3:30 but if you walk in anytime past 2:30, they will tell you lunch is over in a very rude manner.

Best Nabayaki Udon soup ever!!! The sushi is good here as well. Try the Hana White Peach sake. I haven’t tried anything else because the soup is so good!

Bill Durkin

Fine Japanese dining in a comfortable space and good service.

Poor service and average food. Waitress (one particular) really needs retraining on how to serve and treat customers.

I took my family in the past to this establishment and the food was ok, last night however the food tasted terrible, restaurant was under stuffed and we all ended up with stomachaches. Will never go back again.

I had been planning to try this restaurant and I am glad we finally did. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food on par with restaurants in K town in NY. The usual appetizers of gyoza and pancakes was delicious. The beef bibimbap was served in the traditional hot stone bowl. The server does the final touch to mix it up when it arrived at our table. We look forward to to trying the other items on the menu especially the bbq offerings.

Kalbi And bi bim bap are some of the best things I've ever eaten. My go to Korean place to eat

Kiah Script

Love it here especially the lunch menu

The spider roll was disappointing. It just taste dull and old. Just look at the picture. As for the BBQ I've had better bol goki at literally every other Korean establishment in CT. I'll give it two stars because the white rice was good and there was good parking.

This is hands down the greatest restaurant in Norwalk CT. You simply cannot go wrong with any of the choices on the menu. The food is incredibly delicious and satsfying, a truly sublime dining experience. I think I might be in love with this restaurant. It has made a devout regular out of me. Thank you Edo!

Alan Isaacson

Been eating at Edo for about 5 years. Still the best sushi around with great service.

Otto Gross

Thoroughly enjoyed my Bi Bim Bap and a beer. Authentic Korean food and presentation right down to the appetizers. We had a great time and a great meal.

We LOVED this place until last week. The appetizers, ALL the food was delivered together...by the time I got to my dried out chicken teriyaki it was cold. THEN, after we've eaten, they come to the table and ask if I still want my miso soup, (which was included in my meal).Going to be a long time b4 we visit there again.

Very solid Korean spot that also has Japanese options! They have both Korean BBQ and non-BBQ dishes to choose from. We came in for dinner with a group of 4 and were seated right away. They start you out with the typical free apps; bean sprouts, kimchi, etc. It was all very good. This was the first time that I had tried potatoes served with the apps. Those were my favorite! We also ordered seafood scallion pancakes. The calamari was a bit chewy but all of the flavors were really good. For my entree, I got the Spicy Pork with Kimchi sizzling rice bowl. It's an awesome choice. The pork is very well marinated and tender while the kimchi adds a nice spicy touch. It is a bit on the salty side so be prepared with lots of water. The bowl is huge so I was able to eat the leftovers for lunch the left day.

Mark Tortorello

The sashimi is good for the reasonable price.

Food was nothing spectacular. Service was ok. Nothing memorable. But not bad for lunch.

Korean food here is excellent. Soups are fantastic and you should try every single one. We drive 20 min to go eat there at least few times a week. Korean food is one of the healthiest choices out there. Its wonderful to have some choices in world cuisines. Having small ethnic places like this is a privilege and should be supported especially in our area ... just how many pizza and fast food restaurants should an area have?? Certainly everyone is entitled to their opinion .. experiences vary and negative reviews should be perhaps be intelligently addressed with owner to help improve. However, in six years we have no complaints.

Don't how by the entrance. Awesome food

The food here was good the service was subpar I think I'm most annoyed with is that when you order shrimp tempura it looks like the four of them and you with a bunch of vegetables the waitress offered no explanation. While I'm still eating my lunch they come out and turn off the music music and have their lunch. I will not be eating here again

Gordon Phillips

Hottest stone bowl I've ever had. Sizzled at least half of the meal. The condiments were generous and plentiful and the food was all quite good. I recommend trying it. Ambience is pretty low value and the staff was cheerful if not terribly attentive. It's not a four star restaurant but our meal was good.

Kevin Marino

This little gem is tucked away but worth finding. I've been coming here for over 15 years ... Great Korean food and amazing sushi!!

Emily O'Neil

Good sushi and good service. Everyone was very nice and attentive. I got the Spicy Rainbow roll and the What's Up roll. I would definitely get sushi here again.

Aric Lemieux

Randomly picked a restaurant tonight and we weren't disappointed. Korean food with some amazing flavor! Couldn't pronounce what I was eating but essentially calamari, vegetables and noodles... spicy but not so hot it was inedible. The appetizers that come with Korean plates were really good as well. As busy as they were, the waitstaff kept up with it pretty well. They could've used some help to give more attention to the mass of customers flooding the dining room.

Overpriced, as are most Korean restaurants, with forgettable food and bare minimum service.

Stopped on my way driving from NJ to Boston for dinner. The gal bi (Korean short ribs) was the best I have ever had, better than many Korean restaraunts in NYC. The rice was excellent (very important), the lettuce to wrap the rice and beef was very fresh and the kimchee was flavorful and fresh- hot but not too hot. The meal came with a variety of small appetizers which were great too- each one distinct from the other in texture and flavor.

Kenneth Martinson

Lacks flavor, my dish was burnt and they refused to offer something else without a charge.

The food is very good. I love getting the rice that comes out in the hot pot and cooks in front of you. Meals are very filling. Service is fast.

Amazing sushi. My go-to for when I'm craving it. I recommend the Golden Pillow, the Princess, and the Hawaiian.

Very good food

Wonderful wait staff!

One of these days I'm going to have to get something other than the sushi lunch, but it's so good and fresh

Amit Joshi

Really not the best quality food. Their signature Korean dishes are too greasy and they pack in too much rice and not enough fish in the rolls. The staff is very nice, though.

Love the spicy pork with rice; I have been ordering it for years. Every time I call, I forget the name of the dish, but the staff assist me every time.

I've been here four or five times. The sashimi is good for the reasonable price. The beef tatake dinner is delicious and very reasonable for a three course meal.

Best Korean restaurant!! Very clean and the food reminded me of back home. The staff was also very nice. If you are thinking of going I recommend getting the Gop Dol, a traditional meal served in a streaming stone bowl with rice, veggies, meat of your choice, and hot sauce on the side.

I am Korean and I have been searching for good Korean restaurants in Connecticut. Edo is on my list as one of the better few Korean restaurants that I've been to. My boyfriend and I always order the 갈비 (Kalbi) and 곱돌 비빔밥 (bibimbap). The meat is soft and savory while the portions are pretty decent for the price. The main dishes are amazing, although I think they could slightly improve on the variety of their side dishes (which are very important in Korean meals). I highly recommend trying the Kalbi with an order of bibimbap!

David Gibilisco

Food is great. I recommend for those who want some Udon. It's filling!

Sirong C

not worth it... i had seafood soontofu soup, and nothing inside the soup was fresh and no vegetables inside... I'm korean and I probably can cook better soup if i had a kitchen.
