Just ordered food to go, chicken and sides. The food is fantastic, very tasty and very fresh. The price point is low and the place has large portions. I would recommend this to all ages and budgets. I definitely will be coming back.

The customer service is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and inviting. I gave it a good rating for those reasons alone. I didn't like the food. This place was recommended by a coworker. The fried chicken was bland, it seemed like it'd been fried in old oil, the mac& cheese lacked cheese, and the yams were soggy with too much syrup. iIt's a shame because the people are so nice and the staff is so friendly but I didn't really like the food....

Good fried chicken, the fried gizzards are awesome! I just wish they would do half gizzards and half livers (even charge extra)!! The pulled pork was nice too. Last but not least, the Mac and cheese was over before I could take pictures!!

I have been traveling to Bridgeport for the last 7 years. I pass this spot every time but I’ve never been. Finally in July 2018, I went! Let me tell you how disappointed I was that I waited 7 years to try it! The food was amazing! Fresh and hot! Fried chicken wings, Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, coleslaw and I think greens or green beans! Soooooo goooood! I’m excited to return!

The food was amazing, I ordered the Fried Chicken Meal of a breast and a leg with the side of Collard greens and Mac'n Cheese. The Chicken had that crunch and flavor. The Collard greens were seasoned well. The Mac'n Cheese was held together and it was Delishous.

I found this little gem of a place by reminiscing about an old place named pilgrims, that closed down in Ansonia. A town favorite that is highly missed. Drumstick does not disappoint. Comes very close to good old pligram Joe's ! Food is fresh.. so not the quickest. Call ahead, prices are little expensive. But delicious southern food. Definitely try this out when wanting southern food.

Very disappointed with this place. Its been over 20 years since I've been here and it has changed. The ribs were tough and didn't taste good. Stay away from the Mac and cheese, it was bland even after adding salt and pepper. The only good things were the JJ's, chicken wings and deviled eggs. Sorry to say, I will not be back.

The fried chicken was pretty good and the service was fairly fast and store was quite clean. You lost points for not putting any napkins in my bags. You lost more points when I had to go back in to request napkins and wait in line again. I then had to make a second request when you handed me two napkins for a 10 piece order. Splurge and perhaps put some dispensers on your counters???

The title says it all. Their champagnes are solid white meat chicken breast. They have a honey mustard that is out of this world. Some may say that the food is bland, but that's a good thing (add your own), a lot of people have health issues, they shouldn't have spicy foods. Add you're own to suit YOUR diet. The food is fresh. Well worth a try.

This is one of those places that makes you thankful that you live where you do. Just down the street from KFC, Drumstick is a classic and still going strong. Never too greasy, always fried just right, if you're in the mood for some good fried chicken, then look no further than Drumstick Bar-B-Q! Their signature sauce is good, but not my favorite. It definitely needs caramelization to bring out the flavors.

Since moving back from Florida it has been hard to find good BBQ food. This place is definitely close to that southern taste. Fried gizzards are delicious! Taste just as good as my mom's. Fried chicken is nice and crispy. I like to try an different items every time I go and drumstick has disappointed me yet.

5-25-2018 chick pieces was tiny and small and dry, mac and cheese had no cheese in it First time i tried their chicken it was great the mac and cheese was great i rember the time i was their it was about 2:00 pm and a older Afro- American was working there then, i drive all the way from Derby Ct to purchase chicken i notice if i buy it at 4;00 pm it was not good like when i purchase it that day at 2;00 pm. i was there yesterday chicken was Salty and the Mac and cheese did not Have enough cheese in it . i call try to talk to the manger he was to Busy taking Orders to talk to me. not going back there it starting to get like KFC.

One of a few places I go in Bridgeport for fried chicken, it takes a little while because they always make it fresh, or at least seem to for me. I'm partial to the leg and thigh combo but their Champagnes seem to be a favorite, boneless bites covered in sauce.

Food is good bad customer service. Due to their lack of communication I didn’t receive the sauces I payed for. I handed the cashier with dreads the change and watched him not document that the sauce was payed for and watched him leave once his shift ended. Went back to get my food and was refused the sauce. Nobody wants to eat where they’re cheated. If you don’t want to be stolen from your better off not eating there

Ordered 10 wings (thai chili) with fries and coleslaw for pickup. The paying for and picking up my food was a pretty good experience. My order was ready when promised and everything was ready to go (so the to go service was efficient). The food however was bland. The best part of the entire meal was the sauce on the wings. The fries had no flavor, the coleslaw was horrible, the chicken had no flavor of its own and might as well have been bread drenched in Thai chili sauce. I was disappointed as I read the great reviews and the pricing was wallet-friendly. Maybe I had the bad batch, but I don't think I'll be trying again.
