My wife and I went last night for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. The view was beautiful, the food was very good, and so was the service. However for what you pay, the portion sizes were very small and both of us left still hungry. I had the Tuna steak which was cooked perfectly, but was very small piece. The side of rice was also a very small portion and nothing else offered with it. Some vegetables would have been a nice addition to the plate. My wife had the lobster ravioli, which was a plate with 7 raviolis on it.... definitely will not return.

The location is nice and we enjoyed outdoor seating, however the food was not great, shrimps tasted like old frying oil and it was not a great value overall (A few fries and shrimps as a "dinner platter" for 20) - I wish it would've been better

Buffalo wings were a 10 , nice and crisp not overly hot , and with a blue cheese crumble if your into that, food came out quick, dinners come with huge amount of fries, onion rings are fresh and delicious too, only reason no 5 star was burger order was wrong , and sides were wrong with steak, she fixed them but they were pretty simple to get right in first place..food awesome though and when it's nice and outside seating is open it's even better!!

We we're on our way home to PA from Boston and we're looking for a seafood place on the water to stop for a while. This place was not on the water. It seems like a boat club because it is in the middle of a yaght/boat storage and repair parking lot. It seems like a local place but it was welcoming to my family. When our son, who is 2, started to throw a tantrum, the server didn't even flinch and offered for us to go play on their playground outside. That being said, it's a great place to grab lunch with kids. We ended up just getting muscles and clam chowder. So we didn't get a good sense of the kitchen's culinary expertise. But it was quick, they had a kids menu, a playground, and a small selection of craft beer.

The water was good... I ordered the seafood combo (ask for grilled), my wife ordered the stuff shrimp. My order was VERY bland, no taste what so ever. It was not grilled, and looked more like microwaved. I don't know what to say about the stuffed shrimp. The stuffing was something out of a box mix, very peppery tasting, I'm guessing to attempt to add some kind of seasoning flavor to it. We did have a bowl of New England chowder, which was excellent, but looking back after eating the main course, I'm guessing its not made there and probable something out of a can they heat up. It tasted way to good to be of the same creation from the short order cooks (which by the way looked like college kids on summer break). Very, very disappointing. will not return, do NOT recommend. EDIT** - I must point out that our waitress, while very attentive and nice, did not clear ANY of the plates at any time, off the table. Even at the end, when we asked for coffee, everything was STILL on the table in front of us. NOT professional...

Don't ask why a vegan went to the Dockside. I had the pasta with marinara sauce and it was really delicious. Note: there was shaved parmesan on top, so if you're more strict vegan than me, tell them ahead of time to skip the cheese.

Party of six decided last minute to try Dockside, none of us had been there. Very nice location near the water, excellent facility . We were seated quickly, staff was very helpful with menue questions. Drinks and meals served with in a reasonable amount of time. We came for the food and nobody was disappointed, everything was excellent. Good portions and reasonable priced. We will return.

Some interesting reviews for Dockside, people either love it or hate it. I'm somewhere in between. We ate there for lunch on Sunday. Love the location and parking. Yeah, seating is kind of weird, but we sat outside so no worries. Our waitress, Madison was amazing. Funny, attentive and professional; service was great. I ordered the Captain's platter and it was overflowing with food. Tasted fresh and seasoned well, and I was able to take the rest home for later. My wife ordered the clam chowder which was very good and the lobster roll, which unfortunately was not so good. Didn't taste fresh at all and had that weird fishy smell like it had been frozen. For a seafood restaurant to get that wrong is not good. I've seen previous reviews so clearly it's not that they don't know how, it's a matter of consistency. As we walked out after paying, the owner basically had the exit blocked as she was chatting with friends/customers; not getting the cue to move, we had to walk around two tables to get out of the restaurant. Not a huge deal, but consistent with some of the previous reviews about her attitude. We'll probably come back next season, the food is decent and I like their beer selection.

My fiance decided to go there last night on 9-21-18. It is a nice place the food was good ask the waitress that serves you for recommendations. The prime rib sandwich my fiance ordered was wonderful and her fries were great. The clams casino is top notch too. Great prices and nice atmosphere great place for locals. I absolutely loved Dockside. It was a bit crowded, but that's to be expected at such a great place. The food was very good. I had a fried shrimp platter and a side Caesar salad. Freshest and largest shrimp I've had in a while. Never enjoyed a caesar salad so much. Drinks were pretty good. Would definitely recommend Dockside.

I have eaten here with my family many, many times. The last time I went was for a relative's birthday, and that was about a week before they closed down for the season. One owner was present, and we thought it odd that she allowed what amounted to just about the entire waitstaff to congregate very near to our table. They staff was talking about weekend plans, texting, joking and laughing in an area that was literally on top of our seats; they acted like we were invisible. They were rude and grabbed up our dishes before we finished, and made us feel very rushed. One waiter went to take away a family member's soup dish, and my family member, finally have had enough said, "can I finish it first?" That earned us a dirty look. We didn't order birthday dessert, because they made us so uncomfortable. We didn't have a dedicated server either. One of the group would swoop down on us, continue to talk to his/her friends while taking the dishes away. We were never asked how anything was, did we want more wine, or soda; nothing. The food wasn't even good that night.They were right on top of us for a very uncomfortable 40 minutes. I spent a lot of money that night for cold clam chowder, and greasy fish. Worst of all, the owner was present almost the entire time and didn't say anything to the staff.

Used to come here often. Recent visit was disappointing. Red house wine was terrible. And not cheap at $7 a glass. Rhode Island clam chowder was over flavored with bacon. It was too salty and the potatoes were mushy. Broiled scrod was dry and unflavorable. Did not taste fresh. Coffee was OK but not as good as you would get at a fine restaurant. The chocolate decadence dessert was very sweet and not of fine bakery quality. The setting is beautiful but the food needs to get back where it once was.

It was a great experience. Located inside The Brewers Marina. Nice view of the boats and water with plenty of parking. The staff was awesome and very friendly. Never let our drinks go dry. A nice selection of drinks and food makes for a great combination. The food was fabulous and plentiful. We ordered the bucket of steamers that were enough for both of us. The lobster pot pie was spectacular. It had a nice mixture of lobster meat, mixed vegetables, sauce and a nice dough cover. Well worth the trip.

This is not a pet friendly Restaurant at all. Before we stop there in our boat, we call to see is they were pet friendly but seemed like the did not wanted us there at all. We brought our dog and they offer to bring a bowl of water but they never brought it. Our dog was so well behaved and super friendly, everyone wanted to pet him. The manager was looking at us having dinner the entire time which was very uncomfortable and they sit us away from the entire restaurant. If you are going for a pet friendly restaurant don’t even bother.

Great place for fresh seafood, off the boat fresh! We went on a Friday evening so the crowd was expected. We had a 15 minute wait to get in (no reservations taken) and sat outside on the deck. We were able to watch the sunset and had an absolutely wonderful evening. 4 people, adult beverages,appetizers, and meals, about $180. I would say about average.

Went last week. Food was excellent. Tried to order over the phone today and they don’t do takeout over the phone. Want me to sit there? It’s 2018. I offered my debit card information over the phone and was told no. Might be the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard in my life. $60 today they won’t be getting from me, and definitely nothing in the future.
