Ordered the kids sliders only to find out sliders means one small burger! Does that mean chicken fingers only come with one piece of chicken? They comped the extra slider we asked for, but even then if they didn’t it was $4.25 for an extra slider on a kids menu when it’s $6.50 for a meal. It’s not sliders if it’s one burger. Horrible service to top it. Our food took over 40 minutes and their excuse was they had a big order before we arrived. Not our problem.

This is an attractive place in Stamford, catchy name, close to I-95. Usually the service is good but it was an off night, they ran out of many items and a burger arrived very late. The food is good in general, with chicken, ribs, and all the fixin's.

Meat, meat, and meat! Don't have patience or time to bbq or marinate on your own? They have the best flavorings, and you don't have to wait as long as you would at home. All groups of people fit in, though it's got a bar with sports on TVs, so it tends to attract men and couples more so than groups of girl friends. Mix and match options are GREAT

What a sad evening at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que! We had not been there in a few years and I was excited to finally get to revisit. It once was a place where the food was perfect, with delicious sides, and a great atmosphere. Not anymore! We were a group of 8 and none of us enjoyed our food. We're we able to eat it? Yeah but more because we were hungry. Man and cheese had a sour taste and no one could get down more than a few bites. Corn bread was lacking in flavor. Garlic butter was nothing but salty. Greens were cooked probably for 3 days as they were limp. Chicken was good but nothing special. Ribs were dry. About the only thing that treated good was the cold slaw. This is so sad as the decor is perfect and there is plenty of parking. Service was on point and everyone was attentive. I will never go back as there are plenty of other places with better food and better prices. This place may go the way of the real dinosaurs.

The best thing about this place is the ribs. The cucumber salad had cilantro in it instead of dill. Taste terrible. The barbecue rice was dry and cold. Extremely small portions of sides. The water was good.

I LOVE THE WINGS HERE!! I drive about 40 minutes to eat here and it's worth it! These are some of the best wings and ribs in CT! I recommend this place to everyone when they ask me about good BBQ or wing spots in CT. However, I will say that all of their servers aren't the most attentive. I've had a sub par waiter at least once for every five times that I go to this restaurant, on average. The food is still great though!

Your typical BBQ fare in Stamford, CT. A great and attentive staff. The portions are a bit on the skimping side for the price point. The atmosphere was great overall. Definitely would come back here. *update* The servers are so great here. So polite and friendly. They're attentive. They're always smiling and giving great recommendations on the menu. They make this place worth the visit.

placed an order online through GrubHub at 7, arrived at 7:15. i fully paid for my order ahead of time. at 7:30 they told us there was no record of our order. we then waited until 8:10 to get our food. the food was excellent but we were late to. our event by 30 minutes and never received an apology, explanation, or any money back. Dinosaur is from my hometown so i was excited to stop and the food didn't disappoint, but the service we received was terrible.

Great BBQ which is reasonably priced. The wings and brisket are phenomenal, just the right portion to ensure you're getting a good value. The server were super nice and friendly to offer suggestions. One thing that did disappoint was the Mac and Cheese, its only a side dish but does need some improvements.

Here with some friends and family today. Loved the decor, good music playing and it had friendly staff that were quick and attentive. Ordered a few appetizers to share and had an entree of the ribs and the BBQ pulled salmon. The salmon was cooked well but the star of the plate was the ribs, they fell off the bone and were delicious. The cornbread was awesome and my side of BBQ fried rice was surprisingly tasty. Great meal and experience. I'd recommend a visit!

These folks catered my friend's wedding. I was so blown away. The meat was so tender and properly seasoned, they have the best Cole slaw I've ever had. Everything was so great that I will be going out of my way to have it again. If you like good meats and good eats, check this place out!

Big place with good feel. The BBQ is ok but nothing to rant about. To be fair I love BBQ and can be particular. I've tried most their meats and nothing sticks out so I can't say there is one type of meat I would recommend. The corn bread is pretty solid and the Mac and cheese is decent.

Great bbq place! This is my second time going to Dino Bbq. We went there for happy hours. They had 6$ appetizer, 4$ bottles beer, 5$ drafts ,7$ for hard liquor. The place was large. Do try the smoked brisket. It was really good. The sauces are great to try the meats with. Service was also fast. They have free parking They have outdoor seating arrangements They have happy hours

This place has a great atmosphere, bar, and really nice people. But this isn't actual BBQ if you're a Southerner. The meat is good if you don't get any sauce. The sauce is like they just tossed in all the different regional BBQ sauces and called it a day. It was disappointing to say the least. I give 4 stars because what they lack BBQ they make up for in friendliness and a good vibe.

Last week we had the best nachos ever. Bbq is good and a always have the Cuban sandwich but have tried just about everything in the menu. Also, this last visit we had the best server we ever had. We didn't have to request a single refill of our drinks. He was on top of it and would refill them everytime as soon as we ran dry.

Good barbecue and friendly staff. We showed up with our poodle and they welcomed us to sit outside on the patio, opening service there that day only for us, including turning on their outside heater and bringing water for the dog. Wee got pulled pork, pork belly, and some sides. All relatively good, nothing so great that we would insist you go and order that one dish.

The food is fantastic, I came here with my friend's for an anniversary dinner. It was suggested that we order the family meal since the food would be quicker to get. after looking at all of the positive reviews on google and hearing good feedback from family members, me and my wife decided to give this place a try and was let down, the only thing that we enjoyed was the spicy wings from the appetizer menu and the rib's that came with my main order. everything else fell flat the Cajun salmon was dry as hell, the cornbread had no flavor etc. our waiter kind of forgot about us too and the place wasn't packed at all the decor was nice though.

First time here but heard great things about the one in Harlem. Very good service and the food was great! If you like southern dishes this is your place. The BBQ was slow cooked and delicious, collard greens wonderful( alittle sweet) and the corn bread tasted homemade. We started with the fried green tomatoes, and have to say, after having them in many a restaurant down south, these were the best we have had!

The wings were one of the better items they had a good kick to them. They have no breading on them more of a glaze of the sauce. The brisket was tender and although it didnt have the smokyness I expected it had a punch of heat that helped the flavor. The ribs had a dry rub on them but they were kind of dry overall.

We went here twice within a week. First of all portions are HUGE and everything we have tried so far has been AWESOME! The bar b que chicken is to die for.It is moist,flavorful with a tang that will make your mouth HAPPY! We also had the pulled pork nachos.The tortillas were hot and crispy.The pulled pork was plentiful and scattered all over.The raw jalapenos were nuclear hot but also easily removed.These were some seriously tasty nachos! Finally the peanut butter pie...We have all had peanut butter pie.You havent had peanut butter pie until you have had THIS peanut butter pie!The BEST EVER!It is freaking amazing.If you like peanut butter pie you will love this.BRAVO! The service was great.Wide selection of craft,foreign and domestic beers.The place was busy but the food came fast. Over all AAA+++!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Nice place great parking and the food was as expected. Also the drinks are quite moderately priced. The only issue we had was our server. He was not present for the first 10 minutes then he was in a rush for us to order food not even asking about a drink after he brought water. He was in such a rush he wasn't even listening my friend said fireball and he heard tequila very different things. Before I could order a second drink he had already did a drive-by and dropped the receipt and at that point we went to another bar for the next round.

The food tastes great, but the service is probably the worst I have ever experienced. We go in and are told that it is a 10-15 minute wait. For 45 minutes, we stand at the bar looking at all the empty tables no one has cleared off since we got there. It was not even that busy. Eventually we just sit at a table. After 30 minutes, no server comes to talk to us. We pull over a server from another table who takes our drinks and appetizer order, says he will get our server. 30 minutes later, our waiter comes with our drinks. Another 30 minutes go by and our 6 wings come out. We place a dinner and drink order, wait 45 minutes for the drinks and 57 minutes for the food. As we are about to walk out the manager comes over to apologize. I used to work at this restaurant, I don't even think the server put in our order until we talked to someone else, they have clocks that time each order and how long its taking. We watched as all the people who got there after us got their food 30 minutes before we did. Luckily, the food came out right as we were about to leave, and we were hungry after 3 hours of waiting. Dinosaur BBQ, you guys really have to fix your staffing issue, this was the worst experience I ever had in a restaurant.

Fun BBQ spot. Good service, nice atmosphere. There's a nice selection for the kids menu. Across the board all the food was way over salted, and there were no breaks from it. The amount of salt I just interested in giving me a headache. I'd recommend the ribs and pulled pork. BBQ fried rice was a good side, about the Mac n cheese.

BBQ Heaven 5 Stars...EZ Choice, GREAT Small Chain, consistently good service, EXCELLENT FOOD. We ate dinner early, so that helps in a place like this that probably gets very busy. This food has been cooking low n slow all day, so this delicious plate of food came out pretty quick. It was fingerpicking good. I had st louis ribs that were tender n tasty, 1/4 chicken combo with mac n cheese & collard greens. If I went back I would order the same thing ;-)

I came during vacations with my family. Food is ok, but very bad service. Personnel, far too slow. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, it was empty. Between taking the order, and bringing the check they took more than 15 minutes. Waiter didn't return to the table for the drinks refill.

My family took my elderly Mom out here for her birthday. The ambiance is industrial, but the place is exceptionally spacious, with tables several feet apart. To me this is a real plus. Everyone but my wife and I ordered Bloody Mary cocktails. Everyone said they were very good. I chose the brisket plate, and the portion they served was generous and delicious, the meat tender enough to cut with a fork. The jalapeno relish was a nice touch, but wasn't needed since the meat stands on its own. For sides I had french fries and baked beans, both just fine. I tasted the ribs and belly since my wife ordered a combo and let me take a taste. The ribs were delicious and perfectly cooked, tender but not falling off the bone. The belly was perfect: tender, smoky, and flavorful. Mac and cheese is a big deal these days; theirs was good but nothing special. For appetizers I had wings with all three sauces. they were flavorful, huge, and meaty. Really nothing exceptional, though. The fried green tomatoes were a surprising treat. I couldn't believe that food of this quality was available from a chain restaurant. I'm so glad my sister picked this place instead of her usual choice in the mall where the food is so ordinary but the place is so popular and crowded.

Ordered delivery, the food I got was gross and not what I ordered. The pulled pork was mainly burnt, the ribs are overcooked, the brisket was all fat. They no longer carry shrimp so they gave me a ton of overcooked wings. Take a look at this brisket taco, it looks disgusting. How can you serve this?

BBQ artisans. All meats and sides are meticulously prepared -- fresh -- at the restaurant. If you get a chance, get a tour of the kitchen (and the bank of smokers). Facility is large, beautiful. Solid drink menu. Could be best BBQ spot in Fairfield County.

This place rocks! At the recommendation of our server, we got the family style dish, which VERY comfortably fed 5 people (with food left to spare). We chose half the brisket and half the pork, with sides of potato salad, sweet and sour cucumber, and fries. The fries are delicious! The cucumber side really compliments the meats; the potato salad was really normal - but I can’t complain. The staff was lovely, our server Natalie (hope I spell that right) was not only really kind and patient, but she was pretty witty too with a comeback, and we loved it!! What a solid place, we will be back. My other experience was with one of their BBQ’d thanksgiving turkeys - it was a family favorite, and everyone agreed it was the best turkey we had had. Perfect balance of flavor and moisture. Perhaps not a traditional thanksgiving turkey, but I got over it ;)

I will give 3 1/2 stars. The food was great, very yummy. The waitress was a bit hectic but given that she's new. The atmosphere was good, has a live band outside when we visited.

Tasty BBQ, especially the brisket. Unacceptable service. Saturday night 5:30pm, birthday dinner with my kids, and was told "we have NO MORE FORKS" !!??? I guess that's why they call it "dinosaur" - patrons are forced to eat like animals by mashing their faces directly into the food. Didn't even offer me a complimentary slice of cake. Bad business people.

Really loved the atmosphere and the service. Ordered nachos for an appetizer that were bad, they just weren’t what I what expect and want in nachos. For my entree I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with French fries and Mac and cheese. The sandwich was very tasty, as were the sides. The fries were veryyyyy salty but I was able to dust some of that off. My whole family was very happy with their meal and we will be going back.

I do enjoy the food. The pulled pork nachos are terrific and the wings are surprisingly good. My complaint is with the bar staff. I order gin neat with extra olives. Out comes a rocks glass with 1/2 inch of alcohol and 2 olives. For my next drink I asked the waitress to tell the bartender to be a bit more generous. Out comes a rocks glass with 1/2 inch of alcohol and 2 olives. Really guys? Does the alcohol come out of their paycheck? Its unfortunate for the waitress because she only got a 15% tip because of it.
