The food is always delicious and the wait staff are very helpful if you want to try new foods. Their recommendations are great! They are also very kid friendly. Best Coromandel I've been to in CT!

Very good authentic Indian food. The hosts are very good and very well spoken. They will try to accommodate your needs even though it is not part of the menu card. One of the guys there is very knowledgeable on the alcohols, specifically whiskey and wine. I would say that the place is costlier than the other counter parts.

Gautham Bommannan

Good buffet. However the naan was chewy.

Sam T

Had delivery of many different menu items and all was made well

Akash Bajaj

Great place for different styles

Absolutely fantastic service! Food is excellent. Service people are very polite. I ate here once and ordered delivery once. Service is consistent as us the food. They had made a minor error with my delivery but they went over and above my expectations to make up for it. Great people. I definitely return the next time i'm in town.

Plenty of parking. Great atmosphere (loved the music). The decor was clean & very nice. The bathrooms were the cleanest I've seen (and smelled) in a very long time!! The service was fast, professional & pleasant. The waiter was very sweet & attentive and didn't mind helping us sort through the menu. The water was quickly replenished and it was needed....spicy food! The food was absolutely delicious!! Have to go back for the rest of the menu! 5*'s

Delicious authentic Indian cuisine! Personalized service. Immaculate, always friendly. One of our favorite dinner experiences for several years!!

vince d

Everything was delicious. A must try if you enjoy Indian cuisine.

Suraj Ekka

Place is quite good. Food is decent as it’s not typical Indian spicy but customized for locals. It take some time to locate restaurant from Road as it’s not clear visible. I went their during weekdays for dinner so got parking easily but I doubt during weekends or holidays. Overall experience is good.

Best Indian Restaurant Around!

Jester George

Very inviting Indian cuisine located in Darien. Plenty of seating, extremely friendly staff and the execution of authentic Indian dishes is reminiscent of food from my past. This location ranks very well in comparison to restaurants in the area. Coromandel Cuisine of India would receive 5 stars however the pricing of the plates are a little higher than I would've hoped for the dishes served. If price is not an important factor then this location is an amazing location for Lunch and Dinner whether it's a night out with the family or a cozy date.

Husein Lokhandwala

Pricey but worthwhile. Authentic flavors complement the cozy atmosphere. Recommend the goat biryani and the nilgiri korma. However, skip the ras malai in dessert and go for the kulfi.

BYOB PRINT AND DESIGN

EXCELLENCE!!! So many dishes and buffet. Everything is always perfect! The staff is wonderful! JOJO always seems to be our main guy and somehow he always remembers exactly what I had the last time.

Swift Bland

I loved the food there it was soo good

Varsha Kallanmarthodi Menon

One of the best Indian restaurants in the area. I usually go for the lunch buffet but has catered from them once too. Excellent service and more authentic Indian food.

Lisa Munro

BEST INDIAN IN CT!

Gokhan Egilmez

Excellent Indian cuisine, buffet has a good variety options and very nice interior. Friendly staff. Good food and free meal after the 6th lunch. What else could you expect? Highly suggesting you to try... both veggie and non veggie options exist...

Vikram Nafde

One of the better Indian restaurants in the area. Plenty of seating, fairly upscale seating, high quality food, and friendly service.

Naresh

One of my best restaurants.. Very tasty!!

Sudatta Bharati

Taste was different! I really like the variety in the menu. Me and my husband went for a lunch buffet. We ordered a tawa ruyyali for appetizer. We really enjoyed the food! Tandoori chicken was really juicy and was served fresh (I don't know why most of the Indian restaurants in CT make it very dry). We would definitely come here again.

Matta Fakt

This place has the best Indian food around and I've tried them all. The chicken tikka masala is perfect and the lunch special is one of the best deals you can't get. So much great food, and even if you order it to go, they hook you up with so much stuff you'll have to make 2 meals out of it. Really nice staff too. Highly recommend

Subbu Ramanathan

decent south indian menu

Joseph Grill

Wonderful Indian restaurant. Absolutely delicious food.

Nitin Kamal

Had buffet there and it was fingerlicking good. Must visit

Don Tran

The bar is situated in a really good spot with a lot of lighting-- some people want a dark setting for their dinner spots but I love the lighting here. The food is amazing. I've never tried to lunch buffet but their dinner items are really phenomenal!

Amanda L. Goodman

Service can be very slow.

Dana Crowell

We are from NYC and thought this was better than most of the Indian restaurants there. Features unusual dishes from different regions of India. Sparkling flavors. Excellent service.

Abhiprali Vishal

Awesome South Indian food. Loved Rasmalai and Gulab jamun. Best buffet in $17

guru shankar

Ambience was too good , polite and friendly staffs . Too many items in the menu , long time to decide what we are going to have , but they had every thing we asked for. Paratha we expected it to be layered one as it was coromandel cuisine but was wheat paratha, both goat and lamb biryani tasted good with loads of spices on them , but was over priced . Rasam soup tasted like sambhar with dhal in it. Appetizer quantity was less but they serve in a big bowl with loaded spinach and beetroot, imagine an Andhra chilly chicken bowl with half of the space occupied by beetroot and spinach just for presentation , coffee was good. Taste was good , quantity can be higher and over all food was over priced.

niyantkumar shah

Very bad experience. Not so good food and bad service. Rude and arrogant staff. They think they are the best. In my experience, they are not. There is some topical smell in the restaurant.

Diego Mendez

Love their food, the buffet never disappoints because it is constantly changing.

Jamie Dellavolpe

I go to Coromandel for the lunch buffet when I have a hankering for Indian food and it is always superb.

Joby Thomas

Great customer service and great kerala food

The best!! Check out the lunch buffet!!

Emily Joy Kruger

Been here twice & was incredibly pleased with both the food & the service! Absolutely wonderful!

Y

Absolutely love the food here! One of the best places in CT to eat Indian food. Authentic Indian food. The spice levels are perfect. The staff are very friendly. Its totally worth the price! Highly recommended. The papad with the mango chutney and green chutney were so delicious! The shaamsavera was brilliant. Portions are very generous.

Pranjali Viral T

All the dishes that we ordered were perfectly flavored and beautifully presented. There were lot of menu items that seemed uniquely created dishes. We tried sham savera which was a new dish for me to try out personally (I don’t have picture for that.) cheese covered with fenugreek leaves served with tomato soup and rice - extremely delicious. Overall, a restaurant that we need to revisit - more then once.

Brian McKay

Sounthararaj Nagaraj

Coromandel platter and Halibut Kerala fish curry tasted really awesome. Service was fast and good as well.

Been coming here for years - excellent food consistently good - great specials - friendly helpful staff - best lunch buffet - can't imagine why anybody would not rate this as "one of the best" P

Bae-Hoon Kim

I love the lunch buffet

George Joseph

Highly recommend this place. Best indian restaurant in CT. staff is amazing. The owner, Mathew makes it a point to come by our table every time we visit. The Chennai (Madras) chicken is my favorite. I have not had a bad dish here. It's great to see the large number of south indian dishes on the menu as most indian restaurants only have a north indian menu.

Sabrina Lewis

Really delicious Indian food! The staff is very friendly and the service is great. I've been to many Indian restaurants around the US and so far this is my favorite. (I've never been to India so I can't compare to that)

chirag shah

Excellent food, great experience, very good service and ambiance. Definitely worth trying. Location is good just off rte 95

Zach Harris

Jaimini Bhatt

Good quality food but quite pricey.

Vivek Vasudevan

Excellent Indian food

Stephanie Perez

Very spicy I loved it.

Sakshi Bansal

We ordered Hyderabadi Dum Biryani here and we have never been more disappointed. It was literally chicken pieces added to plain white rice(No spices). It’s not even close to the Biryani what Hyderabad is famous for. If you choose to go here, please don’t order Biryani and waste 18 bucks.

Emily Tu

Very good indian food. They have a great choice of breads and the price is extremely reason. The waiter will ask the level of spice. It definitely tastes like authentic quality indian food.

Chris Ham

Racist??? This is the second time my family has not been offered naan or the hot chicken that is provided to everyone else. Even people who were seated after us were provided these items. I had to wonder if it's because we are black? Because it is the second time I think it's more than a simple oversight.

Justin Jacob

Great food.. Great service.. Sameway everyday..!!! Highly recommended restaurent in this area..!!! Thanks for everything.

Gerrit Davidson

All my Indian friends do not think this is authentic and neither do I

Jim Roche

great food! the best indian we've had outside of the uk. prices are very reasonable and the decor is very tasteful. the wonderful wine list is more akin to that which you'd expect at a top notch steakhouse than a small indian restaurant. the service was very timely, although the servers were somewhat difficult to understand.

The weekends are the best!!! Always a buffet for $16.99 all u can eat. They also always give you an appetizer free of charge the during the weekend. They also change up the menu every weekend. Everybody is very friendly and very, accommodating! Food is very fresh and authentic!!!

Went there with a friend who goes pretty regularly. The staff and owner knew her and were very friendly. Lunch buffet was very good and affordable, especially since the kiddos ate all that yummy chicken marsala for free!

Russell Levine

This is a great place to go for lunch buffet if you work in the area. Their lunch buffet has great variety of entrees and is consistently delicious for buffet food. They have a great selection of vegetarian options at the buffet that are nicely sliced. The staff are very nice. They bring sizzling chicken to the table as part of the buffet, but do not offer a vegetarian equivalent to this option. They also bring fresh naan bread to the table. Edit: I am increasing my rating to 5 stars because as I have gone more to this place I have noticed better vegetarian options like paneer dishes. I still think it would be nice if there was consistently samosas or other fried appetizer at the buffet, but overall the selection is amazing. Their entrees are above average for a buffet. They also have papadum, chutnies, and salad available at the buffet.

swaraj pal singh

Great food.

Got a take out order. The food was very mediocre. The portion sizes small while the prices pretty high. The menu boasts Indian regional cuisine but their culinary skills leave much to be desired!

Good ambience. Clean. Food is okay.

Madhu Nagarjuna

Excellent food and service. Had a great time

Ritesh Agarwal

My Favorite Indian food here. Go Nowhere else. Quality of Tandoori chicken - the Best. No over cooking it like 95% Indian joints. Other entrées super awesome too.

Dimpal Brahmbhatt

Great food..excellent service..strongly recommended

Suri Singh

Amazing restaurant. Very Good food. Courteous and hospital staff. Ate here twice while I was visiting. Once a take out and once dine in. The food tastes good and same even when take out and eat later. Best I have eaten at an Indian Restaurant in US in a long time.

Good food (coming from a vegatarian) entrees big enough to feed two people in some cases. The waiter suggested a lot of the food that we got, and we loved it! If you go, and want to split food without wasting, get an appetizer, entree, and maybe there delicious garlic naan! Perfect sized meal for two.

Variety cuisine served. I specially liked their Mysore Masala Dosa which was amazing, and also their Lunch Buffet was mind blowing. We were visiting for 10 days and we used to go there almost everyday.

This is one of my favorite buffet Indian lunch spots. The food is wonderfully spiced, flavorful, and hot. The variety of choices is adequate, but always enough to satisfy me and my vegetarian friends I've gone with. The buffet is very carefully tended. The waitstaff are very attentive and pick up your used dishes quickly when you go to the buffet for more. It's so hard not to overeat here because I want to try everything. I've learned to sample everything and then go back for my favorites. Desserts are also fantastic. The lunch buffet is very inexpensive! It's hard to believe you can eat so well for so little. I highly recommend this spot for lunch. I've never had dinner here because I work close, but I live too far to go for dinner.

elizabeth halvorsen

Very good!

Vinod Krishnamoorthy

I have visited this place mostly on weekdays for Lunch buffet and has a good selection of items. They serve the bread fresh and also prepare Whole Wheat bread, if they are asked for. They also have a good weekend lunch buffet menu with a good mix of items and value for the money

Rafi Brodie

There's an extensive menu of only good tasting food and the wait staff are all very friendly and attentive.

kanya polavarapu

Have been there for dinner few weeks back, dinner service was terrible.

Ramya Sindhusha

Being a spice loving south Indian, I dint felt that hot spice taste in any dish..Not even little..Good for non spice lovers

Rocco DiSavino

Great lunch buffet food. Kind and courteous staff. One note: Waitstaff come and take plates and baskets (of naan) quickly if you leave your seat so be sure to let them know if you are not done yet before heading to restroom or to grab something else from buffet. They will gladly refill your naan basket though. Great atmosphere and experience.

Mick Joneja

Simply the best Indian Food I've ever eaten and exemplary service

Deepanker Venkatesh

The service is great, the food isn't. The value isn't worth the price of the buffet. Probably I am comparing it with New Jersey places, but I was genuinely not impressed by any of the dishes. They do bring Tandoori Chicken in a sizzler form, but I think that just prevents people from eating freely. Find better places elsewhere.

eugene gallagher

Love it.. prob fav Indian food place

Olivia Jedan

I dine This place last Sunday night one of the best authentic Indian food I've had in CT. Excellent service. Had wonderful cocktail.. Good selection of wines.. Lot to try from menu. The restaurant it beautiful and clean inside. All of our party enjoyed their meals, everything was delicious. Prices were quite reasonable

Madduri Mourya Vardhan Reddy

Dinner menu seems a little pricey, but the lunch box's are a good price for the amount of food you get. Absolutely delicious food, will definitely go back.

Edwin Quinones

My wife and I went there for the brunch buffet today. The gentleman who greeted us noticed that I walk with a cane and suggested we sit at a table closest to the buffet so that it would be easier for me. This is not a big restaurants, but it was nice that he noticed and made sure we we're accommodated. The restaurant is also very clean, the staff were all attentive, and it is nicely decorated. As for the food, here's the thing .If I go to an Indian restaurant and I see Indian people eating there, that's already a food sign, so I ate with confidence. I'm very happy to report that every dish was wonderful .I loved the calamari, the fish, all the chicken dishes and the rice, all of it was really good .None of the meats we're over seasoned or dry, the mango juice was very good, and I never had to ask for a water refill as the wait staff (as I said earlier) was very attentive. I would definitely go to Coromandel again .The food wasn't very expensive, at all, the food was all great, the wait staff are great and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Go to Coromandel, you won't regret it .

Mint Drops

Big spread of chutneys and salad but hardly anything for the main course. Little expensive for the choices offered. Very big negative for me was the stack of high chairs placed inside the restroom. My toddler sat on one of those chairs pulled out of the restroom.... only if I had known earlier....absolutely unhygienic!!

Mark Fischer

Great buffet specials and adequate but It's not the best Indian food in fairfield county.

Greg Smith

The quality and diversity of Indian food in the Coromandel buffet is truly amazing. The service is like that of a high-end restaurant. Really love this place.

Lisa Berlinger

I have had lots of good Indian food, but this is the best. The chef is inventive so you get interesting variations of what you would get elsewhere and dishes no other restaurant in Connecticut has. The restaurant is not fancy, but the food is excellent.

Gina Lepore

Omg.. some of the best Indian food I've ever had

Ananya Gupta

This resturant is overpriced IMO. It serves very good food but the naan was a downer and felt like kanai naan from a grocery store. The kadai paneer had a definite style that was though not authentic to North Indian, it was very flavorful. Overall the food was fully enjoyable. If you are in this region, between Coromandel and Tawa, you cannot complain about lack to good Indian food. Next trip to this place, I will sample the malai kofta and dal makhani - two items that need delicate and patient preparations.

Depicious food and gracious service. Lots of vegetarian optipns

Buch Krasniqi

This place is excellent, Food and service is right on point. It’s a very unique buffet that changes daily. It has a very worm and authentic feel. It’s also priced very well. Lunch in the 25$ range for two, dinner for two 50$ and up, depending on your drinking habits.

5.0 star rating 3/15/2017 I am glad to say that Coromandel in Orange is my favorite Indian restaurant so far in United States. Their service is impeccable, variety of options in menu is rich, ambience is top notch and above all, food is very delicious. This place has become my usual dine out place and I should admit that I trust them like no other place as they always make us feel like they are serving the best quality food. Weekend buffet here is awesome. I am yet to try their weekday buffet and weekday lunch options but I am sure those will be equally good too. We have ordered the food here for a catered event recently and the feed back we got from our guests made our day. My husband loves their meat main course options (especially beef coconut fry) and my personal favorites are gobi manchurian, bagara baingan, malai kofta.

Edwin Calo

Gina Palacio

Very nice little buffet with very elegant table settings.

Mydeen Yussouf

Awesome dishes in the buffet. Special mention - they served sweet Pongal on Tamil Pongal day. Sizzling Tandoori and dosa served right at your table for buffet. For Valentines they served chocolate dipped strawberries. They even serve delicious mango salad in the buffet spread some days. Ambience is nice. Apparently we visit often, and so far, highly satisfied.

Frederic Sommer

I have been coming to Coromandel for years, and it is, by far, the best Indian restaurant in the area. The best Indian food I have ever had outside London. Try the Sunday brunch, it is amazing. The staff are welcoming and very attentive, it's a great bargain!

Dewayne Lee

Very good food an warm welcoming service.

J Tucker

Food was excellent. Prompt and friendly staff.

Larry Perlstein

the darien location is so completely unassuming buried in a strip mall, but entering the restaurant is like stepping into another world. the food is interesting, nicely prepared and presented, and tasty. chicken dishes have a tendency to be a bit dry. app

Rachel Archelaus

This is the best Indian food in Connecticut. I love everything I've tried and used to travel 45 minutes just to eat there. It's great for larger parties. They are also allergy friendly.

Sandeep Pathak

If you like authentic Indian food please avoid this place.

Jim Melanson

I cannot imagine a finer Indian cuisine restaurant in the area. Every dish I’ve had at Coromandel has been superb. Also the atmosphere and service are fantastic. Highly recommended!!!

Even though there are others closer to us, we make the trip to the branch in Orange because the food is faultless, and the service is that great balance between attentive without being annoying. If you like heat and are up to it, my husband says the phal is perfect - intense heat with layers of great flavor. Tandoori shrimp were amazing. No bad choices here.

Luis De Castro

Very pricey but for a once in a while treat its very good

Hans Breda

Whatever you order, it's great!

pavan kumar

My family and I had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are seeking delicious Indian food in a relaxed and cozy setting. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be returning soon.

Michael Marley

Great Indian food. Freshly made with good spices. Large variety of vegetarian and meat dishes. Will be back with guests.

Gregory Michaels

I eat Indian food often and everything was great. Was traveling for business and didn’t know where to eat, you can have confidence knowing you’ll get a great meal.

Tony Bacewicz / Atlantic Vision Media

My first visit to Coromandel Cuisine of India was totally enjoyable experience. I was there for the extensive Saturday lunch buffet that includes 9 hot trays to choose from as well as a cold appetizer table with so many items that I couldn’t possibly sample them all. As you might expect flavors range from mild and sweet to very spicy. One great advantage of dining at their buffet is that you can get adventurous and just sample a little bit of something you’ve never tried before then go back for more if you really like it. Atmosphere was bright, colorful and cheery with plenty of room between tables. Modern Indian music playing in the background had a light and jazzy feel that I enjoyed. I also noticed quite a number of couples with small children came in for Saturday buffet but the dining room never got noisy. If you like Indian food I give Coromandel Cuisine of India a hearty recommendation. Don’t forget to ask about the weekend specials that the chef continually creates but don’t appear on the menu.

Eric Anderson

Enjoyed the food. Good service.

Jason Shepard

This is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants around. Everything from the service to the food is exceptional. It's also reasonably priced and I would highly recommend this to anybody that is a serious lover of Indian food. It is as authentic as they come.

chris pellas

Very friendly staff and a great selection of food

Best experience in an Indian Restaurant

Edwin Gregory

The best place I've ever been to. The manager is super nice, he'll make the Coromandel experience feel comfortable to anyone, regardless of backgrounds, experiences, etc. If you want to go to someplace for any intent or reason, this is the place for you.

Beth Hanson

Traditional, but unremarkable Indian restaurant in a strip mall. Decent food at reasonable prices.

NGS INC ORG

Exquisite decor and very good curry here. This chain is upscale Indian.

EXCELLENT FOOD FROM FRESH INGREDIENTS

Ram Talreja

Their take out service is very poor. Attendants need more training and attentiveness. They served me wrong order while I was there for lunch today.

Tom French

My favorite place to eat. So yummy Indian food, and the brunch buffet is a steal.

Krook Rock

Nice decor, kind service and the foood!! AMAZING FLAVORS! One of my best finds on the road.

onthegoboomer

A dramatic plummet in service, cleanliness, quality. I came here with my extended family as they had not gone to an Indian restaurant for a meal. I told them I have been to this restaurant many times and it has always been really good. Well, one bad experience was too many and it was the worse kind. We waited almost 90 minutes for our food, we weren't set up with enough plates or silverware, we had to repeatedly request items as well as items be removed, just all around BAD! The food even tasted as if it has been frozen and reheated, something I really hope isn't true but fear it was last night. We ordered chicken tikka (tandoori) that usually comes sizzling with peppers and onions but because the table next to us had the dish and it set off the fire alarm and the fire department came, ours was just served on a plate (chicken was overcooked and really dry). They need to get themselves in order or they will go the route of other restaurants that fail to maintain a standard of excellence in quality, service and freshness.

Nm Jarek

It's really good guys

H Qureshi

Their conduct was very poor. First off, I called in advance to ask when their buffet closes for the day and was told 3:30pm over the phone when it was really 3:00pm. I felt rushed as they started removing all the food slightly before 3pm. The restaurant had only 6 other people inside. They sat us down at a 2 seat table and we requested to be moved to a 4 seat larger table as the dishes and our elbows took up all the space. They replied no the larger tables are for parties of 4. Even though another couple next to us were sitting at a 4 seat larger table. When we made the requests for anything, the waiters would talk in their native language and show lack of interest. Food was average but the dessert was very low quality. This is the second Coromandel I have been too, the other being in Darien. Both have the same unprofessional conduct by employees.

Jason Tucker

This is by far one of the best Indian restaurants that I’ve been to. Their Sunday buffet is the best I ever had with multiple choices and the only place that starts with potato crepes and sizzling tandoori chicken. They have a full spread of Indian favorites as well as hot food to entice every palate. I recommend highly and you will not be disappointed.

Jeffrey Lowell

Food is tasty and well prepared. Staff are attentive. Prices have increased.

Don Hay

First time there and food was really great. Stay was very friendly and attentive. Not cheap by any means, but quality was fantastic.

Kaushik G

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was mediocre. I tried the Tandoori chicken and like many places they screwed it up and made it too dry. The rest of the party were not happy with their food either - the dishes were a bit too sweet and all were mediocre.

Elaine Kaiser

This is hands down the absolutely best Indian in all of Connecticut. The service and decor is outstanding and the food is beyond amazing. Fresh, delicious, interesting and they also have an all you can eat buffet on weekends. Great wines and truly authentic. Oh did I say, I LOVE This place.

Mary Kelly

I'm from New York City, have eaten in Little India in The East Village, Indian on The Upper West Side, Jackson Heights, have eaten Indian friend's food... even in London, England... and I can say with certainty that Coromandel is one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever eaten in. There's a huge menu with specialities from all the different regions of India. The prices are mid ranged and there's a bar in the back. The staff is overly polite, professional and helpful in always getting my order just right; you can ask for a specific degree of spicy and that is what I'll get. The wait staff patiently answer any questions I might have & suggest dishes when I ask. I've never been surprised except pleasantly. The restaurant is very clean and tastefully decorated, cozy and comfortable. Even on its most packed days I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes for a table or feel squashed in with the other diners. The dining experience at Coromandel is so nice that I never even realize that I am sitting in a packed restaurant. There's no delivery but I don't mind; I can order my food and it will be waiting hot and delicious when I arrive to pick it up 15-20 minutes later. I love Coromandel so much I don't even want to try other Indian restaurants. Why fix something if it's not broken? If you want to try Indian food try Coromandel. If you love Indian food try Coromandel. You won't be disappointed.

Good service, very friendly. Price : decent. Place : spacious, semi-elegant , deep warm colors, traditional music, traditional wall painting and decors. Food : very well serve ! They seem to pay attention to details. Servings are big. Like really big compare to other restaurants in the area . ( I personally recommend 1 dish per 2 adults even 3 adults if you get 1-2 appetizers and the traditional bread they usually offer) Usually main dishes come with a bowl of rice so is a lot of food ! ( u can always take it home ) Lamb is really good and tender as well as the chicken ! Overall . Definitely a place to visit to get out of your routine good, and if extra hungry with friends and family ! FYI: This experience was under regular dinner time If you get there for the buffet might (definitely)not be the same !!

This place is top notch in CT . The food is delicious and consistent and it's a relaxing and elegant atmosphere. The best part is the service though. They go above and beyond to make sure that it is a wonderful experience with my family

Great place to eat, some of the healthiest food iv ever had in a restaurant. Customer service and hospitality was a five star. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have high quality Indian food.

Nice place, very good hospitality. Awesome food.!! We were a party of 12 including kids and elderly people, reserved a table around 9:15 pm (where their closing time was (10-10:30 pm) yet the food we order was so delicious and we were never rushed off , staff attended us nicely and calmly . Quality of food was not sacrificed even at those closing hours and a large order was handled very well. We are really glad we visited the Coromandel!

Nish Joshi

They are best in business. Super delicious food & very attentive service.

Authentic Indian Cuisine Love the Food especially the Buffet

Nicolas Robert

Great Indian food. Unexpected delight.

Anish Kumar K

At least have the decency to talk properly. Very disappointing.

Summer Rain

If you don't eat beef or pork for any particular reason, just avoid this place. We ordered chicken curry and what we got was red meat pieces along with chicken. The waiter initially refused to accept, however after insisting he confirmed that it is beef. Worst place.

Chirag Sudani

Nice and Tasty food .....Nice Hospitality and Service...worth to Visit

Greg Kenney

Best Indian food I have ever had. My uncle is a chef and has gotten a chance to live and work in India and he says the food here is the best he has ever had. For someone that has lived and cooked there, that says a lot!

Atri Akella

Nice Buffett. Lot of Indian food variety. It's worth the money. Nice place to have food.

Venkat Mudiyala

One of the best places to go for authentic Indian food! I love the food at and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Being Indian, I like the fact that the food is absolutely authentic and healthy (not submerged in loads and loads of oil like other places). You won't be disappointed, your stomach will be happy and your wallet won't be completely empty... take it from me, I'm a student again. I have even frequented their orange location for the lunch buffet when I used to work in the area and I would totally recommend the place to others. The buffet is a great deal - lots of variety.

Jesse McDonald

This is the best restaurant overall in the Milford/Orange area. The depth and variety of flavors is unsurpassed. Talk to your server about any preference on ingredients or spice level. Manager Mathew and his staff are the most professional restaurant staff in all of New Haven County. Strongly recommended.

Prashant Patel

Good food. Limited variety for kids. Needs a lil touch up on service.

Anthony Micarelli

Excellent food.

David Christopher-Morris

Best Indian cuisine around! Staff are friendly and welcoming and happy to answer questions about which dish to order. Come here - you won’t be disappointed.

Sydney Spiesel

Coromandel is an outstanding restaurant that (remarkably enough) manages to showcase dishes representing many of the different cuisines of India. What is really remarkable is how well they do it. You might expect that the demands of that kind of diversity would lead to mediocre results but that's not the case at Coromandel, where the quality is uniformly excellent. Highly recommended!

This is one of our favorites. The restaurant is clean, service is great and professional. Most of the all, the food is amazing. We always look forward to going back. Highly recommended.

Ordered at 7:11p.m. food finally arrived at 9 p.m. it was luke warm and the ice cream dessert I ordered was melted. The only saving Grace is that the food was delicious but would have been better if it was hot and delivered timely.

I cant say enough good things about Lucas., our waiter. The staff, food, and atmosphere were welcoming and comforting.

Avadhut Gurjar

I liked their lunch buffet every time I visited. Been there twice, not too many options but whatever they have was good quality.

Avinash Prakash

The restaurant was to be open until 3 pm for buffet on the weekends. We arrived at 2.45 pm, but were turned away citing incomprehensible reasons. Bad customer service!

Tim Fenton

THEY ALWAYS HAVE INTERESTING DISHES THAT YOU NEVER SEE AT OTHER INDIAN RESTAURANTS. A DELICATE HAND WITH THE SEASONING. THINGS ALWAYS TASTE FRESH.

Rojas Rosabell Rojas

This is the BEST Indian restaurant in CT. The food is amazing and the service is wonderful!!!

Jim MacGregor

Fantastic dosa!

Frederico Pereira

Excellent food and service! Feels like being in India

Amit Rawat

Buffet is good, don't go if you want to try menu items.

Bavishi Rahul

5 star is not enough for this place. One of the top notch Indian restaurant with authentic food, environment and friendly servers. Their malai kofta, paneer kurchan with garlic naan or onion kulcha will go very well. You can never go wrong with this place.

Loretta Smith

My husband and I recently had dinner (not for the first time!!) at Coromandel Restaurant in Orange, CT. The owner was there and, as always, he greeted us graciously. We always feel very welcome and comfortable in this beautifully decorated restaurant. The staff are ever polite and attentive. But we come not for the attractively colored walls and lighting fixtures, though they add warmth to the atmosphere, but for the exquisite meals. We've tried numerous offerings over the years and all were delicious. Although we have our favorites (chicken tikka marsala and tandoori chicken for me), I couldn't resist trying the lamb chops on the specials of the night. The eight little rib chops were so tender and perfectly set off by orange sections in a delectable sauce. The serving was large so I took the remaining home. My dessert of coconut flan topped the meal off nicely. We often bring friends here, especially if they are from out-of-town. They declare the restaurant top rate. So do we. It's the best Indian restaurant and is very successful!!

mulpuri kethan

I ordered a delivery through seamless, although i reside at bridgeport. The food is delivered within the promised time. The attire of the driver is same as that when you reach the restraunt. The food tastes amazingly good. Doesn't loose the authentic indian taste and fits all sorts of spice levels. Overall experince was good.

Chaitanya Sharma

Best kerala food in and around west haven

Dianne Pacl

We are regulars at Coromandel and have never had other than a wonderful meal. The service is great, the owner (Matthew) greets all his guests, and the environment is warm and friendly. Love it!

Not inexpensive for a buffet, but definitely worth a more serious occasion. Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere.

Hilda Salerno

Great service and fabulous, in fact the very best Indian cuisine in the area. Hands down...

Dipesh Badgujar

It's one of the frequently visited place by us. The food quality is awesome and the service is also the best. The response of your feedback is answered and is always looked. Must visit once to get a warm experience.

One of the best indian restaurant in ct. Excellent service, tasty food.

James Atkins

Great food and always get free dessert

Jonathan Mulla

Similar to it's sister restaurant Kolam in Newtown, this is among the best Indian cuisine restaurants in Connecticut. Whether enjoying the classy and comfortable dine-in option or the convenient take out, you will not be disappointed.

jacob thomas

Best Indian cuisine in the area. Slight emphasis on dishes from the South, but other parts represented as well. Bread to die for.

Deanne Ordonez

Such great spices in all their food. Service was okay could have been better.

Felipe Kasinsky

This is Indian food for people that cannot handle Indian food. If you are looking for authentic Indian, do not go there. The food was bland and dry. If Panda Express had an Indian version it would be tastier.

įŃ ŠåÑíTŸ

The food is good but not amazing. But I really dislike the owners. They're insane.

Avinash Phillips

This is a reasonably priced Indian restaurant with the best menu choices ever seen in an Indian cuisine. The food is spicy and can be ordered spicier if desired. For the past 7 years, this is the only Indian restaurant i would want to eat at. Decor is ordinary. The restaurant is usually full with non- Indian patrons so reservations are recommended during peak hours.
