if I could give this place zero Stars I would. not even lying generals Tso tasted like a dead cat. it had a weird texture and taste I would never recommend this to anyone beware. also the delivery driver was extremely rude what a waste of my money

I love their food! They have great healthy options. Their 1 out of 3 places that i would rate 5 stars in hartford. The employees are nice and I had a conflict with a order once but they quickly resolved it, and they gladly re delivered.

An accommodating establishment to say the least. General taste of the veggies was decent and the rice was nicely cooked. No tofu dishes but if you ask, they can help make something for you. Parking was a disaster. You're better off eating the cost of the delivery and letting them bring it to you.

The chicken fried rice was terrible and to top it off, they got my order wrong. Lastly they over charged me for the same order that I got for $2 less at another take-out. Cross your fingers when ordering here.

Figured this place would be good because of the high reviews. I’m a first time customer/will NEVER order from here again. I ordered the lunch special, was told it would take 35 minutes. It took over an hour. When the dude finally called me to let me know he was here, I ran down the stairs to buzz him in and no one was there. I then called him 15 times and he blocked me. I then called the restaurant to inform them about the delivery guys incompetence and the guy on the phone hung up on me. AFTER LITERALLY TAKING MY MONEY. I then called again and demanded a refund. Was told I would receive one in 3-5 days. So now I’m angry, hungry, and short $20. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. DO NOT ORDER HERE. If they treat new paying customers this poorly only God knows how they handle the food.

It took my order a hour and 15 mins to get to me after receiving it I open it up I paid for 1 dollar extra shrimp only to have 4 shrimp in my rice on top of that the chicken was extremely small never again will I order from them

China king is the best,i order from there im very happy and please with there food.The food is very good the rice nice cook the broccoli in beef sauce or garlic sauce delicious and if u tell them to dont put alot of sauce if u order the combo they wont,so no complaints what so ever,they're very nice people no issues with the delivery,also recommend my daughter and she loves it.i will recommend this restaurant anytime.

I have been eating here for about 3 years after swearing off China House on Farmington Ave which is some 500 feet away. Never has China King gotten my order wrong. Never have I been dissatisfied. The kids work the register just as well as their parents and they are always polite and friendly, even on the phone. The place is clean and the food arrives HOT and very well prepared. They're the best in Hartford!

I am only giving this restaurant the one star because I can't give anything less. I ordered from here with a few of my co-workers. We all agreed it was disgusting. My four piece chicken and plain rice was $5.75 the same as if I had gotten pork fried rice. The taste..well their was no taste. This was by far the worst food ever! I ate one wing and a couple bites of the rice which still wasn't good even though I doused it with soy sauce. I'm not sure what you guys ordered that gave such high praise but this is one place I will never order from.. Two thumbs down.

This restaurant is dealing with a serious rat infestation as well as the presence of larger rodents like opossums due to their low standard for cleanliness and poor maintenance of their food waste. I live in the apartment next door and can see these pests on a nightly basis.

Good food and pleasant friendly service. Clean restaurant. Fresh food and rice not dry. Was looking for a Chinese restaurant locally that I would enjoy their food. No website so no menu to look at for those of us whom find local places, so I will take pictures of the menu which I picked up August 2018. Pleased with this location and I will be back for more. Delicious food. Also no parking lot so street parking is necessary which should be noted parking spots are rare find.

I have ordered from this place 1 time, my meal was $29. The delivery guy didnt speak when i opened my door and had the audacity to write on the receipt his on tip, causing me to go overdraft on my acct. I called to make a complaint and there was no sympathy for the ignorance of the delivery guy. Will not be ordering from them agaim, especially if i can't trust them with my banking information.

A large Shrimp Fried Rice cost $700.its way too expensive. Shrimp Fried Rice with Chicken Wings it’s ok but the rice is not your money’s worth at all. Small French Fries is ok which is your money’s worth while others not so good at all.

The woman at the counter was rude when I ordered. I got chicken with broccoli & white rice. The chicken with broccoli had NO FLAVOR. And it cost more than other places. Also, I had to drive around the block 5 TIMES just to find an illegal parking spot! They literally have 3 parking spaces and all of the on street parking is taken by other businesses or tenants in apartment buildings around it. Would give half a star if I could...

I didn't even get past the ordering process. I had to hang up and call another Chinese Takeout. The person who answered the phone was unpleasant and clearly wasn't paying attention, I had to repeat my phone number 4 times, after she finally got that, I started to repeat my address 3 times when I had to give up and say just forget it.

Terrible this is the third time they screwed up my order i ordered chicken and broccoli the same thing i order every time and they sent me broccoli with no chicken when i called back they want me to pay 2 dollars to bring the chicken they screwed up and didn't send the first time and know i have to wait another hour for just the chicken. .... costumer lost!

Best chinese I've had in Hartford so far. Not on Peacock or Wong Wok level (Those from springfield, ma know about those two) but it's pretty good. Better then butterfly and black bamboo to me.
