I love the food and the staff is very friendly. However there always seems to be an issue once I get to my food. Today i ordered my usual eggs fried hard or over hard and the eggs are running like a track star. Last time my eggs were blue. I had to call to ask why they were blue as i was hoping it wasnt mold. They said it was from blueberry pancakes from another customer. Really?

The food was good for the price. The coffee was a bit watery. We were not greeted by anyone when we walked in. It was unclear whether or not you were supposed to seat yourself as there was no sign either. We sat ourselves down and didn't get service until we were almost about to leave. When I tried to pay the lady behind the cash register didn't acknowledge me and was playing on her phone. Overall an okay experience but service could use some work.

Food took forever, waitress put her hand in my daughter's fries, I put my order for kid's food in 10 min before the rest of the food and it came out last it took 30 min to get the food a and we all felt sick within half an hour if eating. I used to be a regular but I will never go back it has gone down hill in a major way

Stopped here after a long drive from NY because Google suggested it for breakfast. It did not disappoint. Family owned diner style place, fantastic breakfast, they have all your standards, eggs, bacon, oatmeal, french toast, pancakes -you name it. But they seem to really care amd enjot what they do, and you can taste the difference in the food. Service was also great. Coffee was great as well. Would definitely come by here anytime I'm in the area.

Quick and good service. The restaurant needs a good clean and updated decor and furniture. The eggs were a little gross (had white part attached to yolks still). The toast was burnt. The bacon was really fatty. Overall though it was good for its price.

This place is excellent. A place the locals go to. I am from out of town ang thought I would try it. Great breakfast, open early and very good value. I will be back each morning for breakfast. Unless you are familiar with the streets make sure you use a GPS. Small and local streets so GPS is needed to get here and back again. Easy parking.

Meet a few ladies today for Breakfast October,23,2017. We each had coffee . One had one French Toast another had Pancakes with eggs over hard and sausage and I had the Western Omelette with wheat toast. Quick with coffee to sit down. Little pushy when looking over the menu. Normally service is great . Today was a tad slow. Good with coffee but had to ask for decaffeinated coffee from one of the ladies. We didn't know if the owner was joking but today was hard to tell. Food was good . One of the ladies in our party was a tad uncomfortable with feedback. Overall worth 10 stars normally but sorry today was 4. Love the place I don't like to review on today. Sorry CJs Food and coffee was great !!

My favorite new place....walk in...sit where you want....I've only had breakfast there..and I keep going back..... Update....not liking this place much anymore...old stale ketchup at each table.. They don't clean all the dead flies by the windows...cook doesn't pay attention to order...over cooked eggs..sausages..undercooked and flavorless potatoes......sorry this went south for me

Great place for pancakes, omlettes, waffles and French toast. No lunch on weekends, so you know that breakfast is a specialty. I love the apple-cinnamon pancakes. My spouse had the Captain America Waffle (with strawberry, Blueberry & whipped cream). When you are done, remember that your server does not bring you the check - just go to the register. It has a kind of old diner feel. It's cozy. The service was good, but the food was average. I ordered pancakes. They were good pancakes, but not better than other breakfast spots. My friend had a burger. He didn't dislike it, but didn't love it either. It's a nice place if you're looking for somewhere quick, casual, and affordable to stop for breakfast.

My favorite diner in New Britain. I usually stick with the greek omelette. If I'm feeling adventurous I'll get strawberry pancakes with whipped cream. This place is very popular with an older crowd, you will most likely be the youngest people there. Everyone is very nice. Can't say enough good things about it. Family run. Closes at two.

I'm a very kind person at heart so writing this review is hard for me because someone is going to get their feelings hurt, but everything that I'm about to say is true. The food was rated a D to me, the eggs were terrible, my wife ordered a vegetable omelet and the veggies were cut super big, we're not sautéed and they were RAW! The omlet was over cooked and brown to top it off. The pancakes were also rated a D, they tasted nasty to me, in fact O honestly could've made way better pancakes at home. The French toast was a C, the taste was decent but they were COLD! The home fries I also give a C, no complaints on them they were just decent. Now the service amazes me, the waitress seemed rude and threw our plates down on the table instead of putting them down gently, oh and by the way she didn't come back one time to check on us. The best experience was when I payed for the meals. The lady who rang me out which I think was the owner was extremely nice. Sad but I will never walk in there again, never. As a business owner myself customer service to me is the most important thing to have and when you fail at that on top of your food being bad that's a recipe for disaster!!!

Once again!!!!! I ordered the western omelet with egg white egg's. My mother had just a ham and cheese. Hats off to the chief, the food was amazing and hit the spot. I must say for take out the portion was great not too much and just enough to say you had enough. The best Place in Hartford county. When your around don't miss out!!!!!!!
