Great hole in the wall breakfast spot. Traditional flat top style breakfast cooking. Everything is homemade. Great small staff. Prices are great. Food is awesome. Not many tables for seating as it's a small place. It worth the wait.

Food was good but the draw here is the atmosphere. If you want to watch three god damn warrior women run the whole front of the house while exchanging banter with every elderly person in Branford this is the place to be. It feels like something out of a movie and I completely understand why the place was full up from the moment I got there to the moment I left. Real talk though: if you have zero appreciation for people working in the service industry don’t bother coming, you’ll be too pissed that your food takes a little while longer than most places to come to the table that you won’t notice just how charming the whole place really is.

Their weekday special...2 eggs, homefries, toast, and coffee can't be beat for $4.50. My son ordered a short stack of chocolate chip pancakes for $4.75. Two huge pancakes about 10 inches across! The restaurant clearly garners their regulars every morning. It's not fancy or "on trend" with other Branford establishments, but that's what makes it affordable.

This was our 1st time and it was packed on a Tuesday. Eggs and French toast were good and the price was right. The volume of the customers was a little loud, but the restaurant can't control that.

The ladies at the register are lovely, very friendly and courteous. The place is cozy and welcoming. Try the bacon, egg and cheese on a hard roll. Very nice! And shoot out to the cook. She is fast accurate and one of the smiliest cooks I have ever seen!!

This is the defacto "hole in the wall" spot that that takes you back to when you could just take a seat at the counter, chat with locals/regulars, and have a delicious meal that no diner can compete with. I see myself becoming a regular sooner than later because no breakfast joint can beat Connections

First time stopping by for food and ill be back. Small simple spot to grab food at good prices. Got a pastrami sandwhich on rye, and my company got a breakfast dish. Both plates were good with good portions. Polite staff as well. Only issue was dirty floor under my table and crumbs on the seat. Will return.

I have been going to scottys all my life. First in North Haven, then to Branford while living out there! The staff is so wonderful. When I go with my sister in law, and niece and nephew, the girls are always so sweet to them. My niece especially loves going there. I'm sure it'll be my nephews favorite breakfast place when hes old enough to talk. My husband always get the super omelet which is 5 eggs with toast and hashbrowns. I don't think he has been able to make his plate empty, but he sure does like to try!

Besides the food not being half bad. Once our food was brought out, never once were we check on, no drinks refilled, and never received my coffee. This was the first time I had to with hold my tip as I saw regulars get stellar treatment as I was left eating toast with my mouth as dry as a desert.

This is my favorite breakfast spot downtown Branford. Where all the locals go. The eggs benedict are awsome, ask for them with spinach.

Sunday morning line was a little long. Definitely a local breakfast establishment. Do have counter service, if you are in a hurry. The staff was friendly and the coffee cups was bottomless, that's a plus in my book! Sunday morning always moving slow.

I have lived in Branford for 8 years and I cannot believe I have never been here!!! The staff is amazingly friendly and the chef whipped me up the BEST western omelet and corned beef hash that I have EVER HAD!!!! If you haven't tried this place yet....run there this week!!!

Awesome breakfast and super nice staff! I needed to find a breakfast place to kill some time and this place came up. They were super busy but still were very attentive to everyone there and were so nice to everyone even though they were running all over the place. I would definitely recommend! Smaller places have the best breakfast! I just warn you they take cash only but do have an atm!
