To this day this business gets a rating of 4.0 stars over 5 and the score was based on 419 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is really good, and it is based on a large number of reviews, so we may think that the valuation is quite credible. If many people have bothered to value when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to set scores when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant is classified in the category of American restaurant.
Don't waste your money. I gave this place a second chance because of the so-called new management and new menu. The menu has a few new items but not much has changed. Including the awful service and WAY overpriced food. My BBQ pork breakfast skillet was over $20 after the tip. It was not just underseasoned, it was overly sweet and had zero salt. It was also 90% grease. The table that was sat after mine had their order taken first. I was brought the wrong drink. Literally nothing to like about this place. I will not be back.
Food was plentiful, a bit of a wait even with open tables and waitress was very friendly but forgot part of our order. They have farm to table and the price is good for the amount of food you get. The staff could step it up a notch, especially when the hostess is busy chatting with other staff and not sitting customers.
Food was good but WAY overpriced. 4 strips of bacon for $6.25. Good food but not worth the price. You could get the same thing at a diner and save yourself $25
I ordered here for the first time today for pick up. The food was absolutely incredible. I ordered a BLT burger with two patties and a side of fries. The beef they use is of a high quality, so you can actually ask for it be cooked a little pink. The burger was literally the best tasting burger I've ever had. It put five guys to shame. The patties were way bigger then I was expecting, which was a pleasant surprise as well. When I came in I was given great customer service. I will definitely be exploring more of their menu moving forward.
Placed an order on Uber Eats and was waiting for my delivery when I got a notification that the restaurant had canceled my order. I called to ask why they did that and the person that answered said, “Yeah...we’re not taking any orders from Uber Eats”. Even though they were obviously open to orders on the Uber Eats app, and clearly showed they were open for another hour and a half. She sounded like she could not care less, and didn’t even offer an apology.
Both outside / inside seating. Great farm fresh food. Wait staff very pleasant. Clean
Good brunch place with lots of vegetarian options too
Very disappointed. Order not made properly. Then when it was made over, still wasn't made right. Manager was unprofessional and is not a problem solver.
Great food and service, looking forward to going back!!
Excellent comfort food in a comfortable space, with comfortable seating and a reasonable sound level. Large, but not overwhelming serving sizes. Diverse menu choices. All five in our party went in different directions and noone was disappointed. Just the opposite, actually; everyone was thrilled. Flavorful food, without being overwhelming spiced. Attentive, accommodating, and efficient service. We will keep coming back. Try it; you'll like it!
Slow service which is almost unbearable and extremely frustrating and they have an extreme bee problem outside so wouldn’t recommend sitting outside unless you want to be swarmed by multiple bees.
Very good breakfast/brunch. Would definitely go again.
This place was horrible! They served chips and hummus, asked for more chips to finish the hummus and was told no. Ordered the turkey dinner it was served cold, waitress Aurora was horrible. Hubby ordered rueben which was disgusting, my daughter ordered a burger and it was served on an English muffin. Will never go back!! Have never been more disappointed in a place. Had heard good things, but obviously wrong! Atrocious place! Had to give it a star to write post, but really deserves no stars!
Good variety of items to choose from. Nice atmosphere. Service was a bit slow one of the times we went but the owner/manager came over and apologized which made the experience much better.
Ordered eggs over easy...they came out flat...but as hard cooked as very hard boiled eggs. After complaining to 2 managers they took the eggs off the bill. They offered to bring me correct eggs, but we were in a hurry and since after dropping off our food we never saw our server again, we didn't have time. We had to hunt down our server by asking the hostess to find her (so we could get our bill) and the hostess never moved to find her - I did by pointing her out...outside laughing and chatting it up with another table. But we had to wait for her to come inside before the hostess told her we wanted our bill. I then had to chase her down to pay her.
This place was amazing! Staff was super friendly and attentive! The food was absolutely delicious! Love this place!!
Bad food, can't make gin and tonic
Great food, great service.
Our server was great, the food is outrageously overpriced and flavorless. We waited for 25 minutes for a table on Saturday morning, so we expected it to be great. Disappointed in their breakfast, scrambled eggs were overcooked, no seasoning at all, potatoes also had no flavor and the chicken sausage tasted more like kielbasa. It has a nice atmosphere and the coffee was decent but overall would not go back.
I've been here several times with my family for breakfast because it's quite close to our home. It has a great atmosphere and the food has always been delicious. They offer free little treats when you first sit down which is a life saver with a two year old! We'll definitely be making this a regular spot for weekend breakfast.
Great breakfast
Food was great, the wait was not.
Good calamari. Good bbq. Good service. Nice diner overall.
.Waffle crispy and delicious. Omg. Food there so fresh and delicious. Now this is our favorite place to go to eat. Go there. Have waffles w blueberry and coolwhip. Best breakfast...cant wait next Friday
The service is okay and the food is okay. It's a little too expensive for what it is and that's why we aren't regulars.
Great place to grab a bite with friends. Excellent fish tacos!
Food is always fresh here. You can find a variety a food here, from the traditional to the slightly eclectic, with varying levels of success. This tends to be a little bit more hearty or comfort food from our experience. We find the meat dishes to always be pretty good. Prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly the restaurant is very clean. They also offer a pretty good breakfast, with a decent selection and quick service.
I love this place. One of the favorite places to bring my family for breakfast, though I'm sure all the food is equally as good. There can be a bit of a wait depending on time of day, so plan accordingly. I've found the staff to be friendly and attentive, the place is always clean, and the food... Excellent. I definitely recommend this place.
My friend and I visited it for the first time, yesterday. We sat at the bar, Dave, our server, was really polite and gentle. He recommended this Parisian dish that is absolutely delicious. The strawberry jam is made by a certain employee called Josh. We don't know you Josh , but we already love you. One of the best jams I've ever had! We had a great experience!
The food here is great... Well though out and crafted menu... You will not be disappointed also a full bar and they have great bar tending staff that knows how to make drinks. Thanks Katie for your great service.
Food is amazing!!! We had a few flies in our area during our last visit but overall good experience and pleasant staff
Good service. Friendly and helpful server. Great experience. No lines no waiting made it even better tonight. Thumbs up.
This place takes traditional breakfast menu up a notch. The coffee is ver good. I plan to return for both lunch abd dinner.
I have to update my review of blue plate kitchen because of how consistently it is inconsistent. The last time we ate there it was amazing. The time before that it was terrible. We had to send our food back because it was inedible. Today we went there again, and again it was terrible. We ordered an appetizer, two entrees and an extra side. One entree, the scallops, was a very small portion and while the sauces and the vegetable pasta it was served on were amazing, the scallops were poorly cooked and did not taste fresh. The other entree, a salad, our server just forgot to bring. We had to remind her twice, which was tough because it took a long time to get her to come back to the table, which didn't make sense because the restaurant was not busy. Once she DID bring the salad, it was amazing! Crisp, fresh, perfectly dressed. The side order (another popover) she didn't bring despite us reminding her twice. We planned on getting dessert but were fed up at this point. When we asked for the check we reminded her she never brought the popover and she just said "oh yeah" completely didn't care. She offered to bring it to us for free when she brought the check. I want to love this place and sometimes their food is a home run and the service can be good and it's a great experience. But it seems like at least 2/3 of the time there is either something really wrong with the food or the service. Today, in addition to all of this, there were a LOT of flies at our table. As happens often we have vowed to not go back for a while.
The best breakfast ever!
Very average breakfast place. The hash portion was a little small and I wish the waffle was a little more crispy. Good hot sauce selection though which is always important for breakfast!
Great food and amazing staff. I definitely recommend going for breakfast. The food is fresh and a decent price.
The brisket sliders were excellent. Hummus and chips were served free of charge and the drinks were potent. The presentation of the food was very nice and delivered timely. I definitely recommend happy hour here and would have given 5 stars if they step up greeting customers at the door and attentiveness.
Great casual brunch spot! The 25 minute wait was delightful with the free corn muffins that came through. They have a patio you can sit on and luckily it was the perfect spring day to enjoy it. My crew split the pitcher of mimosa (raspberry flavor) and while it was closer to a rosé than a mimosa, it was delicious! For food, I got the huevos rancheros. They weren’t great. The tortilla was uncooked, the refried beans were cold but the eggs were poached perfectly. Everyone else with me greatly enjoyed their meals, so this is probably just not the thing to eat.
Wonderful service yummy food what more do ya need
Bread pudding: Epic goodness!
The food quality is great, and the portion are plenty. The coffee is just right, and the freshly squeezed O.J. brings back childhood memories. The staff is friendly. The location is very clean. Parking is a hassle, and on the weekends, expect a long wait time. This is one of my favorite places in this area.
Breakfast is AMAZING here. Lunch menu is just O.K. this will always be in my top 3 favorite breakfast spots.
Always our first stop when visiting West Hartford! Such wonderful selections, and a delightful staff.
Good but not seeing the expensive priced food
Food is good and cool vibe, also bar and alcohol at a family dinner so who wouldn't like it
Great food and service
Great food options. Great drink options. Love the atmosphere. The service is great. Looks like they find a set of cool helpful people and get them to work there. Likes!!!
Are you kidding me? I always wanted to try Blue Plate and finally had the opportunity today. This place is awesome!! Breakfast every day and a casual, kosher-deli-kinda experience. Ordered a corned beef reuben and it was delicious!! I'll be back!!
Such delicious food! I had a wonderful breakfast plate of their Classic Eggs Benedict and it was to die for! Our waitress was wonderful...served us with a smile from beginning to end! I'd definitely recommend this restaurant!
××This is a live review, as I am still sitting in the restaurant×××× My husband and I visited this restaurant for dinner around 8pm on Friday 11/15. The restaurant was not busy at all. I could count three to five other couples at the booths. First impressoon, the hostess was terrible, just absolutely rude and behaved as if she was interrupted by our presence. She said nothing to us and started walking to a booth slapped the menus on the table and walked away. We sat down. After waiting almost 10 minutes, I had to ask her whether someone was going to come over and take our drink order. At this point, I am trying to decide whether we should just leave. We meant to go to the Hibachi restaurant and on a whim decided to try something different. Finally someone comes over to us and took our drunk order and gave us a plate with humus and chips ( it tasted good). After waiting on the beer we ordered (from the tap), she had to come and applogize for the delay stating that she is waiting on the bartender. There are 4 people currently sitting at the bar. We ordered the calamari as a starter and it came very burnt. I refuse to eat it but my husband decides to "make the best of the situation" and decided to eat it. At this point I am ready to leave.
Lots of food, excellent tasting, friendly atmosphere
Favorite breakfast spot. Good gluten free options
hmmmmmmmgood! and you can call 20 minutes before arrival to put your name on the waiting list.
food is great service is impeccable
The service here was good and the food was excellent! Definitely will go again.
I'm a vegetarian and I really loved there vegetable hash. Nice cozy family spot. Good breakfast!
Good service, delicious food.
I'm really not sure about all the five-star reviews for this place. Maybe these people have no taste buds, but for me it was the worst breakfast place in America. If you want to taste something really bad get their cappuccino. Tasteless eggs, horrible sausage, bad fries that cost more than normal. Probably you need to pay more to get a uniquely disgusting experience. Blue plate is a good name for this place. Very very blue.
Good quiet place. Food was good.
Huevos Rancheros just right. Really good coffee. Nice waitress.
Came here for breakfast as an alternative option to East West Grille which closed this past month sadly. Wait was roughly 20 minutes which is fine, but one would assume that it's "worth the wait" since its so busy. I ordered the big breakfast which included eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, a pancake, and a choice of home fries or cheesy grits. The coffee was fine, but the scrambled eggs were overcooked with no flavor. The home fries were okay at best, and the bacon tasted like the bacon you'd microwave from a box. The price is why this is 2 stars. Very overpriced for what you get. Needless to say, I won't be coming back for breakfast.
Nice friendly service. Huge ancient grain salad, totally delicious. And, love the Moscow mule with bourbon.
I don't expect to get great vegan food at a breakfast place but this place had nothing vegan on the menu and the server didn't even know what could be prepared vegan. It is also bad for kids.
Great service And everything tasted so fresh
Went there for Easter with my dad for brunch. We had a great time. Food was prepared to order and came out at a timely manner
Excellent late breakfast and vegetarian plate. Good service
Really large menu, great items. Service was good and food was good. Very large portions.
Food not that good everything is so rushed.
Special menu, a lot of healthy options! Very recommended
Disappointed. Normally, I am pleased with the food here, but on 9/1/19 the service was not good, I received a fresh glass of water with lipstick already on the rim, and the salad was not fresh, at all. I have been to BPK many times and have always been pleased. This time I was not and I may have to find another place to eat.
Welcoming staff. Comfort food.
Chicken was a little under seasoned (chicken and waffles dish) and there was an issue while paying (due to their card reader) but overall a pleasant experience.
I've been going to Blue Plate pretty regularly for a while now and the food & service have both been consistently top notch. Just beware of the biscuit and gravy - that biscuit is freaking huge.
DELICIOUS FOOD.... POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
We went there on a busy night and the service was exceptional. The hostess seated us and within two minutes the waitress came over to introduce herself to us, and asked if we wanted drinks. The food was very good and nice portions for the money. Perfectly priced. My wife and I enjoyed it. When the weather is nice they have a big patio where you enjoy eating outside.
Great food, great service, will definitely go back
Had crab cake did not like it
Most of the food was burnt! And the salmon looked raw. Wouldn't go back again.
The prices are WAY too high - have had breakfast and lunch. The food is very mediocre and incredibly overpriced. The location seems to be the only good thing about this restaurant. I am not sure why people like this place. I gave it a few tries but each time have been disappointed with the food and the bill.
Food was great. Service was good. Brought our college kid here for breakfast and it was good homecooking.
Best breakfast/Brunch
I’ve tried a few times to like this place but in my opinion it is not worth the time/money. The breakfast is overpriced for what you get. Not sure if it’s the West Hartford tax or diamond crusted eggs but it’s pricey for breakfast. I had the bacon egg and cheese on a griddled roll one week and that was a grease bomb. The entire roll (including the bread was covered in grease, not sure if they grilled the bread in bacon grease). I also had the pleasure of having sour tasting pancakes, the manager tried to rectify this with free of charge pancakes made with fresh batter but I had lost my appetite.
Great atmosphere and delish food.
Tried to go for Sunday brunch around noon time. It seemed a little busy, but nothing outrageous. However, the hostess didn't seem to know what was going on with anything, and shoved us off onto another girl at the hostess station, who also ignored us and seemed to be in a daze. We asked how long of a wait it would be for a table and were ignored. We asked if we could sit outside and were told "it's supposed to start raining". Finally we decided to just walk out and go somewhere else. If I could give zero stars for the staff, I would. It was ridiculous.
Nora was awesome breaking down food options for my particular eaters and we enjoyed the ambience and delicious food for lunch ( as Fathers Day Monday)! Thanks!
I absolutely love this place, when I was living in Connecticut I used to go for breakfast every single Sunday and watch the Premier league soccer which they show without fail. I am from the UK so this place really helped me feel at home abroad the staff were absolutely amazing and eventually knew me by name.
Horrible experience. I would do brunch elsewhere
Fresh, generous portions, prompt service
Very extensive breakfast menu sure to please anyone. Indoor and outdoor seating. Our food was tasty and well priced.
Average beer selection, decent food, and average service, but eating outside was nice
Great home style food and friendly service. Laid back atmosphere.
Everything is fantastic here
Great food! Almost always a wait but for good reason. THE breakfast spot for families, booze brunch, anything really.
great service, very clean and comfortable. the drinks were amazing. ASK FOR LIZ SHE'S GREAT
Great and interesting meal options! Nice people working there too!
Coffee was good. Food was cold n not cooked how I asked for it. Don't think I will go back unless it's for coffee
Food was nice. Staff was very courteous, the only downnote was the French fries were too skinny and waaaay toooo dryyyyy......
Only had coffee and yogurt, but server was extremely patient and friendly
Great brunch spot! Opens early and serves breakfast til 11am, but also have a late breakfast menu til 4pm. You can enjoy your eggs and pancakes basically all day. Also, they have a pretty large gluten free menu (just ask for it when you are seated).
Food good. Staff often not helpful
Very nice
I had the turkey and corn beef Rueben! It was excellent. My wife had the Cobb salad. It was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. They also support local suppliers. We will visit again when we're in the area.
Good food, but a bit precious and pricey.
Fresh ingredients beautifully prepared. Portions big for me. I had the Parisian omlet with a nice goat cheese, spinach, tomatoes ( but not too wet to make the omlet unpleasant). Definitely my preferred breakfast place in the West Hartford area now.
Good food and service. Price was slightly high but it is w Hartford. Needs a good cleaning in the kitchen area.
They make you wait like a looong time
Today the Don Juan Tomorrow the.... Most beautiful slice of horseradish I've ever seen.
It's been a while since we've been to Blue Plate Kitchen and on the suggestion of visiting friends we revisited. Not a lot has changed. The food has imagination but no flair and comes across as average. Whether it's a burger, a breakfast item or even dinner its average. The kitchen though is accommodating for changes as needed so a plus point there. Desserts are obscenely large and could feed four adults or 2 teenagers. The service was quite good with attentive and friendly staff. In a pinch BLK is worth a visit, but not a favorite for this patron.
I'm from out of town and went here on a friend's recommendation. I was not disappointed. Although tables were full and had quite the wait for a New Years Day late brunch crowd I was able to get a seat at the bar. I was promptly greeted by Dave who introduced himself and his coworker then asked my name. He called me (and everyone else at the bar) by name during every interaction we had. That was probably the best customer service experience I've had from a bartender. He promptly poured coffee and handed me a brunch menu as well as a small ball of bread pudding. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. I figured it would be a chicken breast on a waffle but noticed the price after ordering. Well, that price had a reason. There was a pile of chicken on that waffle! I had one of each piece: a drum, a wing, a thigh, a breast and a waffle under it all. The coffee was good, the food was excellent, and the service was exceptional. It was a great way to start 2019. Thank you!
Bring ur appetite LARGE portions.!!!
Great food and service. Nice outdoor seating!
Excellent service and food. The only drawback was the really high prices.
Great food!!! Nice atmosphere....except the choice of music could be better. A little too much "heavy metal" for breakfast ...still would recommend. Server, Ashley is really nice!!!
Great Shrimp Tacos! Plenty of outdoor seating and good service.
Really good food!
Very pleased with service and food. Warm bread pudding placed on the table while looking over the menu. Selected the "upside down pot pie" which is actually a large fresh made biscuit covered in sausage gravy then topped with 2 eggs made your way. Other selections from my party included cheesy grits, chicken sausage and Belgium waffles. Everything tasted great. Will definitely return here.
Great place for weekend brunch/breakfast. It's a busy place of weekends so it is important to plan ahead. The atmosphere is great in summers with outdoor seating. The food is good but consistency varies but drinks are great. Service is 5-star and makes the whole experience positive. Will definitely come back for a slightly better food experience.
Love this place for breakfast! I imagine they're great other times too, but I haven't been. I love the vegetable hash. I get it with no egg. It's delicious and filling, I usually need to take some home. The French toast is very good. They give you a little Brad pudding appetizer that is yummy. The service is good. Sitting outside is lovely. It gets busy though, so you may have to wait to sit down.
Totally worth the wait! Good size portions, reasonable prices, good service!
Great service great food, reasonable prices.
Good food. Great staff.
Good food, friendly and good-spirited staff. Blue Plate is a popular place--its good reputation is well-earned. (Also, there's a jukebox, if you're into music :))
Amazing hummus bowl and excellent service!
Went there three weeks ago with some of my friends we love this place but the time we went was a really bad experience. The manager a.k.a. the hostess she older lady with glasses. We sat down and notice that the table that she gave us to sit down was dirty and when we mentioned it to her she came and cleaned it while cleaning the table she threw all the crumbles into my friend and myself lap. The food came very cold. We come to place often but the experience and serice was trash. We dont think were coming back there at all.
Great food love it
Good restaurant
Food good, service good, great atmosphere...
great comfort food!
Food is delicious but too crowded
Great food & customer sevice but very pricey
Great portions. Must do the bloody Mary flight
Small and quaint, almost like a diner. Decent food, beer on tap.
I really love the food here, it is very yummy. I went here for Sunday brunch so of course it was busy, as to be expected. They rush you! I was eating for no longer than 15 to 20 min before they gave me the check (what if I wanted another drink, etc - VERY RUSHED) if you’re food is that overpriced then DONT rush me. The hostess told us 20 min for a table and it was much longer than that.. they also have a lot of bees outside and when I asked for a new table they wouldn’t switch me. Overall, I’m still going to come here because the food is yummy but this past Sunday wasn’t the best experience.
The quality of service has fallen quite a bit with the time. I live in Chicago now, but every time I go back to West Hartford, I so lunch or brunch at BPK. Lately, it has not met expectations or plainly disappointed. The last time, we called to see if they had space to accommodate a large group, they said they did and that they don't take reservations but, as we were on our way, they would hold the table for us. When we arrived, it looked like they had given our table to another group (that had the exact number of people) and instead of admitting the error and apologize, they just dismissed us saying that they didn't say anything like that and that we needed to wait. We waited for 20 minutes until we asked how much longer it would take... Luckily a waitress was walking by when we asked, because she said it'd probably be *another* 40 minutes. I feel that customer service has become a secondary thing. I used to love this restaurant, but I don't think I'll be coming back again.
This place has horrible service. We were ignored as we stood there waiting for service. We then proceeded to wait for the waitress to acknowledge us. The restaurant was not busy at all. Very disappointed with service. Guess I will never get to taste their food.
Delicious meal, we went with a friend for dinner and had the chicken lettuce wraps which were good but could have used more sauce. We also had the calamari which next time I will have aa my main course but sautéed not fried. It came on a bed of baby greens with fired capers and peppers it was very good. We also tried the coconut shrimp as an app. I had the steak frites for dinner, the fries were good and it also came with Cole slaw and a pop over with cinnamon sugar butter. The steak was cooked well if a little tough to cut, I ended up bringing lost of it home. We got a brisket meal for the table and the potato latka was so good and I loved that it came with apple sauce, as they always should. The hot specialty drinks we ordered took a while but were good once they arrived.
Good atmosphere, friendly staff, good food and menu, A bit pricy for some items.
Thursday afternoon April 11th went in with my father to get food waffle came with nothing on it for $8 it was cold the lady took it back with an evil look on her face and the customer satisfaction and service was horrible it says right out front happy service and it was not everything is too expensive and the menu really doesn't explain anything. The weight the waitress didn't even explain the menu and she was very rude and we ended up walking out without paying. everyone everyone working their looks miserable
Amazing!
A great place for a big breakfast. Deliciously unique menu with locally sourced food. Multigrain toast is amazing! Every hot sauce you need on the table for your eggs
The food and service were wonderful. The Parisian omlette was amazing and the nine grain bread was outstanding Highly recommend.
Food is always great and the service is friendly
Service is terrible and food is mediocre, not worth the money. We've tried it periodically about every six months since they opened. Every time is a disappointment. This place has potential if they could get their act together. I expect staff to be friendly and helpful. I've never experienced this here.
Very friendly staff and atmosphere, everything I've had has a unique twist and is very fresh, love the menu.
Upscale $$$ diner. The food is always good and so is the wait staff. Some of the booth seats are ripped and for the price I'm paying I would like to see the quality improved.
Best brunch ever. The food is so fresh. They use the farms nearby as their main source of produce. I went recently for lunch and one of the best lunches I have ever had !!!
Food takes long.
Food was very good Very friendly staff
DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!! someone in that restaurant stole my credit card information and my nieces too & they charged my card over $300 and her card over 60$ INSIDE the restaurant. I told the manager Amy and she did NOTHING!!!!!!! I had the server Katie and we had alot of issues. Check your statements because someone in there is scamming people out of money!!!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE, SCAM SCAMMM
This place is so good
Not pleased with the service I received here this time around. Manager had bad problem solving skills and was deceptive.
We ordered several appetizers for lunch and enjoyed them all. This was our first time here and the service was very good. Not sure about the entrees since we didn't order any, but if the appetizers are a barometer, they should be very good as well.
Great restaurant...great service...wide variety of menu to choose from
The breakfast was delicious and they offered GF toast, which was a bonus! Loved the patio. However, the service, although friendly, was really slow the day we went. Locals said it was hit or miss with slow service.
Great place. Breakfast is always solid. Coffee is amazing. Ambiance is like a modern diner. While the food can be a bit pricey, it's always a quality experience. They have outdoor seating too which can be nice during the appropriate New England months.
Service was great. They even have a gluten free menu with a bunch of choices. Breakfast was delicious!
