What a find!! My husband and I stopped in for early lunch. I started with a lobster bisque that was buttery and flavorful with a large chunk of real Lister floating in the middle. Then moved to the steak, cheese, mushroom, pepper and onion sandwich. Tender flavorful lean steak was excellent. Handmade truffle fries accompany the sandwich and again the flavor was unreal. Finished with one of the best, fresh cups of coffee. Wait staff very personable and attentive. So glad we stopped.

Just opened to the public on 4/1 at the entrance to Short Beach in Stratford. The warm rolls with a yummy sun dried tomato spread (Beach House Patron Margarita), Crab Cake BLT-So messy made it so delicious, choices for dessert & we opted for Carrot Cake-delicious ending to our dinner!

My family had the worst experience with this restaurant. Meals were sent out completely untimely some were finished when others not even served yet in addition the place infested with flies. This was a birthday celebration this place should be giving my family a reimbursement voucher for the meal at a completely different restaurant

The waitress we got admitted to us it was her first day which is probably why our drinks took 15 minutes and she forgot to put in our appetizer order, food was okay I got the porketta dinner, wasn't very hot just kinda warmed. my wife's surf and turf risotto was pretty flavorful and extremely hot. The karaoke was funny, we might try again just not on a Friday

Great find next to Short Beach. No foodie today, just a quick cocktail-about. The staff is very friendly. The menu looks fantastic. Interesting cocktail specials. A very good live music line-up. The interior and ambiance is perfect. Outside dining too. Nice views.

THE AMBIENCE OF THE PLACE WAS GREAT. UTDOOR AND INDOOR SEATING.THE PINO GRIGIO WHITE WINE WAS GOOD. FRIED CALAMARI SCICILLIAN STYLE WAS JUST SPICY ENOUGH. BEST IVE HAD IN CONN. YET. DINNER ROLLS GALORESOFT FLAVORFULL. THE MAIN COURSE FRESH MIXED VEGGIES WITH A CRISPYNESS,MASHED POTATOES,AND LARGE HELPING OF MEATLOAF. The only good thing about this place is the music and food.... Well, the food the waiter didn't mess up. My boyfriend and I stopped here this past weekend while on vacation. The staff is very unorganized. Took us over half an hour to get a waiter and when we tried to order, he had no clue what was on the menu or what meals came with sides. The food was quick to show up but we didn't get what we ordered and he only came to check on us once. We'll be crossing this place off our list of places to go back to.

Amazing service and not too long after I ordered I got my food before I knew it. The lobster roll I had was amazing, you could taste the freshness of the lobster, the veggies are nothing to shy at either. Would recommend to family and friends.

The worst food and service I have ever had! They served raw pancakes to my little girl. And when we told the waitress she asked us if we wanted something else we said no. Did not apologize and did not take it off the bill we have the tell them we were not gonna pay for them!

The staff is great, but the food was lackluster. We ordered fried shrimp, buffalo wings & the lobster roll. The wings were very light on sauce (or rub, if they meant to do dry wings), the shrimp was a bit overdone, the fries were soggy and not at all seasoned. The lobster roll was good, so it wasn't a total wash.

Great place to hang out in the sun. Good food, good views, good entertainment. Staff service is hit or miss though; some are great others, so so. In fact, i just downgraded this review to 2 stars as a result of my recent visit there May 24th. I had to practically beg a waitress for a menu and 90 minutes later she still didnt take my order. Everyone around me got served but i sat there, completely ignored by 3 different waitresses. Simply awful service if you're not a party of 5 or more. Nice atmosphere but I'll never plan on eating there again. I'd rather hit the BK drive thru on the way there. If i EVER go back. I DO NOT recommend this place at all.

Went for happy hour on Friday pricing for happy hour drinks are great. Yoy can sit on the patio with the happy hour prices, unlike a lot of places around the area. Fiid wasn't bad. Staff were very attentive but not pushy.

Very professional staff, Great atmosphere in the high ceiling octagon dining room, outside deck wonderful. Food is very good and nice menu where there is something for everyone. Finish your meal and it is short walk to the beach or drive to Short Beach. Nothing like a walk on the beach after a good meal. There is a nice bar area with three large screen TV's. Play golf at Short Beach Golf Course and enjoy there pub menu with a cold beer. Best of all plenty of parking so that is not a headache. I live in the area and the Beach House Grill is a great addition to the community.

Horrible experience. Not only was this my boyfriend and I️ first time here, we waited at a table for 25 minutes until we were asked what we would like to drink. It’s gets better, 10 minutes after that we finally were handed our menus. Everyone that came in was seated and given menus and bread immediately. We were so annoyed that we ordered a drink each and left. They need better management of a restaurant and some better communication. Don’t run a business if you can’t handle the foot traffic coming though the door.

Horrible experience from beginning to end. Got our orders wrong delivered them to the wrong table and served them to the people the. Brought them back to the kitchen to reserve them to us. At this point we decided to leave not to mention some of the plate were wrong the cheese on the grilled cheese wasn't even melted. We were there for over two hours before they brought us our food which was wrong. It's too bad because we were really excited about this place and felt bad that my mother had to have a confrontation with the manager and we all had to leave hungry and upset with kids.

The water tastes like paper towels and they don’t offer an alternative. My cup had lipstick on it... that wasn’t mine The shrimp cocktail was good but not great The clams casino tasted like ocean water but not in a good way. The half of the bacon that wasn’t on top was basically raw. The salmon was not fresh as at all. Definitely twice cooked The mashed potatoes were tasteless and also not fresh. The cavatelli was basically mush from being way over cooked The chicken on the cavatelli was inedible and chewy. The garlic wine sauce in the cavatelli was basically water. I didn’t order this but I saw someone get calamari at the table by us and it looked like it was probably mostly batter and not fresh at all. Highly do not recommend this place for food or for water. It seemed people were enjoying the cocktails. Our server was nice but had no clue about allergy safe meals even though she seemed to not be new. She comped our entrees because we didn’t eat them. So they tried to do right by us, I guess. They didn’t comp the soda with the lipstick nor offer to bring me a new glass.

The service was great very friendly, hard to understand but nice. But unfortunately it was very expensive for what you get off order the special and a crab cake app the crab cake app was just pre made and deep fried it was good but nothing you would of paid 13 bucks for then the special was one 6oz piece of halibut spinach and a sauce no sides just that 33 bucks it was very dry and did not taste very fresh possible packaged and frozen valve I give it a 0 quality a 0 service 8 would be a 10 but the gentleman has a thick accent and was hard to understand

We were served 5 bay scallops and a mound of French fries for $23.95. When I asked about the small serving, I was told that was what the menu said. It was disgraceful. The waitress said she was embarrassed to serve it. However, no one at the restaurant was willing to discuss it. I asked where the cole slaw was & the waitress brought that halfway through the meal. We waited 20 minutes after we asked for the check and another 15 waiting to get our card back. Needless to say, we will never go back.

The waiter was great, very welcoming and came to check on us numerous times. The food wasnt too great though. I got the crab calr blt. The brioche bun tasted not fresh, the bacon was rubbery and had a sugar like glaze that didnt pair well with the crab cakes and the crab cakes themselves were dry with no lump meat. Also the fries were a bit soggy. Definitely not the worst and I'd be willing to try another dish for the ambiance and live music but i wouldnt return solely for the food. Again, very nice staff though.

Love this place, it just makes me love Short Beach even more! A nice summer time restaurant, featuring a variety of great foods from salads to seafood plates, and their drinks are oh so satisfying!! Very spacious place, very friendly staff, with indoor, outdoor and bar seating. Lots of parking available as well!! Always worth a stop!
