The food was great! The service was a little off, we ordered bottomless mimosas and the waitress had us waiting for a refill for about 20 minutes and completely forgot we ordered bottomless. We had to ask other waitresses for assistance. Overall it had a good atmosphere but I was disappointed in our service.

Nice local bar with a very laid back vibe. Half of it is set up with booths and tables, and is seperated from the bar area with a 1/2 wall which doubles as a drink shelf for people standing at the bar. Great drink specials with some good pub food.

The waitstaff was very friendly, but clearly overworked. It's not a large restaurant but it was packed for Sunday brunch and the kitchen clearly couldn't handle the rush. Waited 20 minutes to get menus and 45 just for the food to come out. Worst of all the crepes weren't very good and the burger was underseasoned. Not worth the price, or the 2 hours I had to spend there for a mediocre meal. Really wanted to like it, but this was not good at all.

Excellent food, and great happy hour deals. I love going here for happy hour and getting the $3 beers, $6 Taco and Arepa plates. They are a Latin-American restaurant with their own spin on some Spanish favorites. If you are a fan of traditional Colombian Arepas and chicharron, there's are made a lot differently. The Arepas come in squares and remind me more of polenta. Nonetheless, they are excellent.

(Reservations are needed on Sundays) unlike other "bottomless mimosa offers", the waitress brought us a carafe at a time to avoid needing to wait for refills. Me and my GF went here on Monday for food. We got the Steak arepas and Mussels on the happy hr menu. The arepas were on point as usual but the mussels were a little off. Hi its July 15th my birthday. After fantastic day my friend and I were winding down the celebrations and I've always wanted to try this place I'm happy we did the food was fantastic the drinks I had a few margaritas with a shot of Grand Marnier on the side out of this world I recommend this place for anyone coming to New Haven my family my friends. I only had one issue with other fine Bistro.

Let me preface this by saying this is my first negative comment against them. I loooove their happy hour. However there's a lot of new staff and new rules about seating that I'm not crazy about. I will say however it seemed that bc I made a bit of a fuss we seemed to get seated sooner. Our waitress was on point and made us happy until...lol there was an error on how my friend's card was charged. It wasn't fixed there, she had to call her bank and let them know about the error. (Charged wrong, then charged twice) Mistakes are mistakes, they happen. Still one of my favorite places.

Very relaxed, modern yet rustic atmosphere with bit of Spanish flare thrown in. comfortable seating, full bar, and friendly atmosphere await you. I myself enjoyed the fresh Blue Point Oysters on the half shell, a strong oyster shooter (Vodka, half shell oyster, bloody Mary mix), and a DELICIOUS plate of the lobster Benedict. to end it ll and most definitely top everything off me and my Girlfriend enjoyed plate of homemade flan and Tres Leches. Creative. comfortable. and excellent food. service was quick, friendly, and accurate. Enjoy!

The mojito was far better than the margarita, which was surprising because we came here after my bf had fantastic margaritas last week (different bar tender). The plantain grilled chicken sandwich was excellent, and the fries were amazing. Be aware that this place is very loud when it's busy, so go in a boisterous mood, not when you need a quiet convo over drinks or dinner.

Okay so I'm going to just say it had to be God for this day to go down that's how I give it five stars it was my first time me and A girlfriend of mine went with my sister frequents this spot with a close friend of hers and we just decided that we hadn't seen each other in so long it's been about eight years her and I'll girlfriend and I haven't seen her in about 6 months so we would like hey let's go have some happy hour drinks and some good food to try those dollar oysters that they have oh my God can you stay fresh I tasted the sea water I'm trying to swallow they were awesome I'm going to have pictures by any who Audrey was our server and waitress and we got lucky because we came home on a Monday evening between 4 and 6 it wasn't busy too much but busy enough for one waitress to be working all these tables and she took care of us in a friendly fast effective manner everything she suggests it was phenomenal I don't know what that Colombian Chef got but she got a good thing going on those little arepas w/ pulled pork and mango salsa on thos hott fried corn fritter cakes, I can't wait to go back and try some more delicious Delectables on the menu cuz we had such a good time we're going to try to make it once a month thing it was really really good and I just want to say to Audrey again thanks for being our waitress once again you were the bomb I can't wait to see you soon thanks for all your time and your hospitality the food was amazing

this place has an awesome late night happy hour! after 10 PM, the place lights up with people and music. it was a really fun place to be. the drinks and appetizers were inexpensive (only $5!). we had yucca fries, mussels, and plantains with cheese — and, i would order the same thing all over again! the drinks were strong and flavorful. order a margarita, caipirinha, or mojito — you can’t go wrong!

This is my second visit and I brought family this time. Just when I though the service could not get any better.. we met Tala tonight!! She is ABSOLUTELY the best server I have ever had. I have been a server and bartender for 5+ years now and she was incredible! I wish she was my server for every restaurant. Im in a no sugar, no carb diet specifcally and she still managed to get my food to me with preferences as well as my normal table who have no dietary restrictions. My family and myself have never recieved such great service. I cannot wait to come back I highly recommend this restaurant their amazing food and Tala their amazing server

At this point we were there for 30 min with no drinks or anyone to take our order so we walked out...such a shame it is good food and drinks but service...maybe hire more staff I was ranting to everyone about this place! but now I don’t know..... disappointed extremely

The place is always filled because the food and drinks are phenomenal. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is live music for brunch every Saturday and Sunday. The only thing that wasn't so great about my visit was the rowdy party yelling and clapping loudly next to my table. It's a small place, and loud already. It would have been nice if staff told them to calm down a bit.

Cheap drinks and appetizers, all of which are super yummy! My personal favorite is the strawberry mojito - it's the perfect ratio of ingredients and it's even got fresh strawberries and mint in it! The yucca fries are also delicious, and I would also highly recommend the nachos. They also have $1 oysters which is a pretty sweet deal as well.

I just got back from dinner from this place. I have been there before and have liked the food. The cooks are great. But tonight, the waitress/manager treated us bad. My friend went ahead of me and asked for a table for two. She was told that a table for two is only given if the two persons are there. My friend told her that I was coming and she was going to start ordering food so sitting at the bar was not a good option. When I got there (literally less than 10min), she gave us a table finally. My friend order a frozen margarita and it was so bad that she had to returned. Within 10min an older guy was sat at the table right next to us and he had drinks and dinner alone (on a table for two). On the other side, another lady came and waited for her friend for like 10min at the table (and not like my friend who had to wait outside). At the end of our dinner, we asked her why she did not allowed my friend to get a table for two but she allowed other people to do it. Her response was: "it is the restaurant's policy. If you ask for a table for two the other person has to be there with you. Or if eating alone, then say you are alone and then they will give you a table for two"...... or basically, she was saying "be white, dress up in a suit and all things will work out"... I really hope the restaurant's owner sees this review and emails me a copy of this restaurant's policy. Otherwise, I will continue to feel we were discriminated. I can't believe how minorities like to "eat" other minorities. I feel so bad we got treated this way.... plus they made mistakes with our bill... so annoying .....

We came in at a good time the place is small and tends to get crowded but we had no problems getting seated. The food was amazing. We couldn't make up our minds so we ate off each others plate so we could sample multiple foods and everything was delicious. The drinks are tasty, I had my first mojito and I enjoyed it very much. The one downfall is, especially when you have a party of people with you, when you're ordering the bottomless mimosas you have exactly one hour and you have to leave. You're DONE!!! Hate that because you want to enjoy your experience but you can't cause you have watch the clock. Who does that?

WOW! We wandered into Barracuda off of the street because it smelled incredible. This has to be one of the best Sunday brunches in town! There is incredible live music, the wait staff is very attentive, and I can comfortably say this is the best mimosa I have ever had in my life. I came here on a Saturday morning with my boyfriend and another couple for brunch. The place is very cozy inside so there aren't too many tables, so it is recommended to have a reservation even for brunch. We were seated quickly and the waiter came to take our order within minutes. They have really good endless drink options for brunch such as sangria, Bloody Marys, and Mimosas. The food is well prepared and pretty large portions for the price. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because we ordered an item and specifically said we wanted the yuca fries as the side, and it ended up coming with regular french fries even after the reminder. Also my over easy eggs were a little undercooked and the white part was still pretty runny. However it was still a great spot and I'd recommend coming here for happy hour or brunch.

Went for dinner around 6pm with friends. We were 1 of 2 tables and it took 15 min to get half of our drink order. We had to get up 10 min later to get the other half which arrived with our food. Food was okay, nothing to write home about. Would have gotten 5 stars if we got our drinks faster.

The arepas I ate at happy hour were great, as is everything else I've ordered from the Cuban sandwich to the yuca nachos. Great vibe. A mix of middle aged people and college students (especially Yale) and the music is always good

I love the happy hour which is after 10pm $5 drinks/apps. It's a hit or miss with the staff. Either there super attentive or super rude and take forever....

Wonderful little spot, very lively. My boyfriend and I decided to stop in while walking by, great decision. Best guac and chips I’ve had ever! Drinks are great too definitely coming back soon
