Great food, great friendly and attentive service. Ate here for lunch. No one rushing you in case you want to linger and socialize. Will be going back for dinner. Nice clean facility with good atmophere. Papertowel dispenser is tempermental to insane.

First time having dinner at this restaurant. Atmosphere and wait staff were very nice. Had chicken Marsalis which had no flavor at all. Could not eat. Husband had Mahi Mahi with lobster ravioli. Unfortunately he did not like his meal as well.

From the road, it doesn't look very inviting, but once inside it's cozy, the service is great, the food is good. A fun place where you can have a light lunch, or a big meal. Great veal dishes (I know that's not for everyone), very good eggplant parmesan, and the app calamari is lightly battered and perfectly fried. One of our go to places. The restaurant offers daily specials as well. I'm giving it 4 stars because I would like to see a few new items on the menu, but there is plenty to choose from.

Amici is a lovely restaurant. Hannah, Tracy, and José were all kind and personable staff. The food was delicious. I had the Divers Sea Scallops, which were divine; a lovely blend of mushroom/broccoli risotto with four of the largest scallops I have seen.

Waiter was very friendly and attentive and the food was on point -- I recommend the Chicken Christina and they were good about making the substitution that I asked for (no mushrooms). Service was very slow, which is why they lose a star, but I can't blame them too much because it was crowded. Throughout the wait we were provided with bread baskets and our salads were very good once they came.

Onion soup, delicious, cheesy garlic bread, delicious...shrimp, veal picatta, like rubber. Server mixed up drinks. Waiting for check....have been here for an hour and a half.

Long wait to be acknowledged. Long wait for our drinks. Appetizers (calamari and garlic bread) came quick and we're just okay. Entrees took over 30 minutes. I ordered the risotto special without mushrooms - it came with mushrooms. No apology offered. It was called a "confusion". Also, there were only 4 very average shrimp in the dish that cost $18. Three stars because my husband enjoyed the swordfish very much. No plans to go back anytime soon.

My husband and I and 2 other friends visited the restaurant for the first time on Sat. Feb. 8, 2014. We were seated very quickly, and had Susan as our server. She could not have been more helpful was very attentive and friendly. The other thing I liked about the restaurant and staff was that we were not addressed as guys, nothing bothers me more then being greeted by "how are you guys today". We all enjoyed our meal and the prices were very reasonable. The restroom was very clean as well and they even provided a hook up on the door frame for pocketbooks or coats so we did not have to place our pocketbook on the floor, what a nice touch. We would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return to eat there.

This is a great place to have lunch or dinner friends in an atmosphere that is comfortable and relaxing. No loud music or noise so you can have a good conversation and relax! Good food and good value too. A really nice place.

My husband and I took friends out to dinner to Amici Grill on a Saturday evening and had the most disappointing experience. The service was ok. The meals were terrible! Really bad. $150 down the drain.

Just went and it was delicious. I got chicken Christina and the bf got seafood. Came with soup or salad. His lemon chicken soup tasted like creamy chicken noodle with a hint of lemon, and my harvest salad was maybe The Best salad I've ever had. The cranberry dressing is what made it I think. He said the seafood was good so I'll take his word on that. The chicken Christina was delicious. The veggies in it were my favorite part cause they got soaked in the lemon butter sauce.

Best Italian food in Avon will always be from Amici’s! Chicken Marsala (with prosciutto) was cooked perfectly as well as the shrimp a’la vodka dish. And the sauces... WOW!! Our waitress Sedona was a sweetheart who, even though she was busy, waited on us like we were the only ones in the restaurant. There was the tiniest thing that the kitchen had forgotten and she picked up on it immediately and apologized. Now that’s service!! Perfect dining experience - we’ll be back!

My fiance, mother in law, and I came in tonight for dinner before a movie at the Avon location. Our server, Nate I believe was his name, was quiet but very polite and helpful. My mother in law got the pork chop, my fiance got the scallops and risotto, and I got the garlic rubbed New York strip, which each came with a salad. I subbed out the house salad for the arugula. I asked for no cheese and it arrived with cheese, but that wasn't a huge deal breaker for me, I ate around it. My fiance subbed his salad out for the harvest salad which he loved, but there were cucumbers in it that weren't mentioned on the menu. My mother in law loved her salad. She also very much enjoyed her pork chop, I thought it was a little overcooked as it was dry.I loved my steak, it was cooked to a perfect med rare, I just wish I had more than 4 spears of asparagus. My fiance's scallops were fantastic and very large, but it did not mention that there were mushrooms in the risotto, which hes not a fan of (no worries, I ate them). Mom ordered a margarita on the rocks and my fiance had a Manhattan on the rocks, both were very strong pours which they were happy with :) it was strange to me that the table linen was covered with a paper bag type material, and there was also silverware and garbage under the table, so they need to work on tidying up a little better. Regardless, all in all it was a great experience and I believe we will be returning costumers!

I dined here on a Saturday night in January. The restaurant was busy but service was slower than desirable. The food arrived in the usual massive shovel-full portions characteristic of suburban Americanized Italian food-- flaccid and lukewarm garlic bread, chicken gorgonzola studded with walnut-sized lumps of congealed cheese, and "Chicken Christina," a house special featuring slices of bland chicken, a lemon wine and butter sauce that somehow managed to be greasy, and prosciutto that was indistinguishable from deli ham, all commingled with other ingredients over a small mountain of spaghetti. We skipped dessert.

This is the first review I have ever written. We were here at lunch today. It is also the first time I have ever left under 20% for a tip..Things started going wrong when we needed to interrupt our server from chating with another server for some bread, after we had placed our lunch order. Then our salads came out, fine, however immediatly the entrees were served, ok back to them later...our server came back after one person in party had finished to see if things were ok??? Seems like he should have checked a little sooner. Asked for extra napkins, we needed to go get them from another set table. Once we were finished our group chatted a little while and after a while needed to go ask for our check. The restaurant was not busy, as we were there after 1pm. We did not feel he did a good job, and therefor dispite the excellent food, our choice for our next lunch will be at a restaurant were the severs are on top of their game.
