Love the food.will be back
The most amazing Thai Food I’ve ever had in my life! Superior customer service. This is a Family owned restaurant with authentic Thai cuisine. All of their dishes are amazing.
Delicious food and great staff!
They have such great service and yummy food!
Great Thai food, service was great. Spice levels are well rated from mild, medium, hot, Thai hot up to super Thai hot. It's hot stuff, good hot stuff. Thai tea is wonderful here. Would go again.
We love this place! The chicken, lemongrass, coconut milk soup (#18) is crazy good. They were out of one item we wanted to order so we ended up getting the coconut shrimp which was huge and crunchy and beautiful. The service is always friendly.
Great food that's super cheap.
If you really like hot, ask for “kill me” hot! (That’s not mentioned on their menu). Be warned, kill me hot is extremely hot, most people won’t be able to take the heat. Besides that the food is good and the staff is very welcoming!
This restaurant has a huge menu with all kinds of options, including multiple vegetarian options. Huge portions with great pricing, definitely could've made two meals out of my vegetarian curry but it was so good I didn't even want to. Service is great, and even though it's in old colorado city, there's a parking lot for this complex so parking isn't an issue.
Love the food !! Known the family for years!
Had a small meal and it was overall good. Nice flavor, but nothing exotic, and rather salty. Pleasant staff and was open reasonably late on a Sunday. I would go back if I'm on that side of town.
Great food
Great pho and service. Nice family! Definitely recommend this place.
Best pho and green curry EVER! Staff are friendly too! Prices are really reasonable as well.
Love this place and the owners Khon and Elmer always treat us like family! Best fish is the Pad Puck Peanut sauce dish normally just vegetables but I have them add chicken. Three stars of heat gets it spicy but not over whelming. If on a cold day or feel under the weather gotta kick it up to 5 stars or as they say Thai hot.
Tom Kha Gai soup is my new favorite food. The service was friendly and attentive. We will be back!
They have the best Pho, the best Thai Iced Tea, the best curry, the best fried rice... This place is one of my favorites and has been since I was a young girl. I just love everything here.
Tasty goodness and love the owners, always friendly and welcoming.
Great food and price will return .
The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely be back here for more yummy Thai food!
Hidden gem tucked into shopping center off W Colorado Ave that has been around for many years. Haven't ever had a bad meal and lunch is a steal. Owner and servers are very friendly.
Delicious and affordable lunch menu!
THE BEST THAI FOOD WE EVER HAD!!! Seriously best Thai food we had in a while... We had tom yum soup, fried rice and veg curry... Amazing service too...
Great food at a reasonable price and fast service without feeling rushed. Had the green curry, I got medium and the wife got mild, both were spot on for the level of heat we expected. Will definitely go back!
Food is quite good. Soups are awesome. Servings sizes are almost more than you want. Service is A+. Really would choose to LOVE this place, but the interior lighting is SO over the top TOO bright it's painful to eat there. Asked the staff if they could tone it down...got a shrug. --Please, is there an electrician out there that can help them?-- This is a great little restaurant ruining themselves over a shrug. YES...lighting CAN be so miserable it makes me never come back again, no matter how good your food. I've seen too many restaurants in that location come and go over the same stupid issue. I do like you. Shut off some lights and you'll get a 4, maybe a 5 on my next visit. Until then, I'm unlikely to return. D.
Hot and sour soup was divine and lots of it, just what we were craving. Service was friendly and courteous. Noodle dish was subtly flavored. We will go back next time we're in the Springs.
Really spicy delicious fried rice
Be specific with your requirements and they will gladly accommodate. This man is an eggplant genius. They treat you well. We've been with them for 18 years and through several moves -the food it's still great. Thank you, Wild Ginger
The food is delicious and authentic. Very good service and friendly staff.
Poor service n huge wait time for a simple order. I had to wait for 40 minutes to get a Fried rice. I don’t want to give even 1 star. Food quality is not at all good .. there are much better Thai restaurants in town.. am surprised how they got 4.5
Have been coming here for years and love them!
Not the best Thai I've ever had but definitely some of the best in the area, for sure. Service an easy 5 stars, as well.
Best Thai food I've ever had...service was great. I highly recommend!
The food was great. The service... Meh.
Great food, great prices. Attentive service. Not much to look at from the outside, but nice on the inside.
We are a family of 6. They said they don't even have a waiting list for seating. We left!
I've been going here since I was a real young kid. I LOVE them! They knew us well and there food is addictive lol. I tell everyone about them. I took my boyfriend here and he's become addicted too. Next year I'm taking my kids. I can't wait! LOVE WILD GINGER 10000%
Called in advance to make sure they were still seating and said I was on my way and then when I got there they locked the doors 40 minutes early and ignored me at the door. That was pretty rude after driving 20 minutes there.
Excellent food, best in town.
Food was great and service was even better! Everyone one was super nice and customer service was amazing
It is well worth it! Can't find anything this good back home. Waitress was super friendly. We did make reservations and glad we did. Top notch!!
I love this place been going for years. Best thai food on the west side.
Unbelievable!!! We LOVE Good Thai food and this is IT! The owner is so nice and the food, just incredible. To those who eat Americanized Thai, please note that “Medium” spice is a good but strong heat. I absolutely love it.
Wild Ginger has been voted "Best Tia Resteraunt" for 10 years running. Sauteed chicken with Peanut sauce home made egg rolls are the best ever.
Absolutely great! Seems like a little hole in the wall place, but the food is excellent, the prices are amazingly good. I usually go for lunch and split an entree with my fiancé, we eat for about 12-14$ with tip included.
Best pho I've had. Waitress is also kind and welcome the customer with big smile.
The staff was so sweet! The food was amazing, too!
Really good food, this was our first visit. My wife's seafood was a little light on the sea part.
Great food
I love the chicken pho here.
Love this Thai place! I'm so glad I found it again after they moved locations. The Wild Ginger Pad Thai dish is my absolute favorite!
Best Thai food I have ever eaten! Great staff, service, and cleanliness! Great prices! $10 for large, 2 serving dish!!! One of the best restaurants I have been to!! I got cashew nut gai. Highly recommend!!
Very bad attitude... the receptionist was very rude and inspite of so many vacant dining spaces they asked us to wait for 45 mts and we left very disappointed.
It used to be good, at the old location in Manitou...now it's beyond terrible
Great place to eat. My wife and I come here alot. Love the food and service is great.
Great small family owned experience.
Warm and friendly both the food and the family.
Ordered red curry. Food was good, but I expected the veggies to be more fresh.
Best thai food this side of Bangkok , friendly fast and super good
Absolutely delicious! Vegetarian and vegan options too.
We have been eating at Wild Ginger for more than 5 years. The food is authentic, tasty, hot as you want ... or not. The service is good. Everyone is friendly.
My boyfriend and I ate here a while ago and it was awesome. We had tofu and peanut sauce for an appetizer and PEANUT SAUCE IS DELICIOUS. We both had an entree (they were both great) and our server even got us more rice at the end of our meal to package up with our leftovers. We didn't ask for this - she offered, which I found very generous. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.
Favorite thai in the springs!
The best tai food around. I've been to all the rest, so stop trying bad food. This place is well worth the time.
Always good food and service!
Over priced cant order over phone Dont recomemd it
We LOVE this place! We have been eating there for about as long as they have been in business, and we try to get over there at least once a month. We love the chef's cooking, and Khon's hospitality is delightful. In addition, we like supporting family businesses.
Tasty and spicy, just the way I like it!
Absolutely love the food!
Excellent restaurant. 10/10 would go back. Recommend the Pad Thai Wild Ginger and any of their curries. Their pho is also decent. This is one of those restaurants where you aspire to try every item on the menu at least once.
This doesn’t taste like Thai food. My friend and I got the Panang curry and the green curry and both realized it tastes like McCormick’s chicken pot pie filling. 15$ per plate and it tastes like 1$ microwaveable food. Will not return.
Absolutely the best Thai food I've had since I was last in Thailand. Nice staff. Good atmosphere, but the place could use some updating.
Super awesome family owned Thai restaurant. The food came out very quickly and the portion sizes are huge! We got a soup to share and it easily could have been a full meal. Their green curry and their pad Thai Wild Ginger were awesome. Our waitress was also very sweet.
The food we had at Wild Ginger was some of the best I've ever had. Pad Thai with chicken, sweet and sour chicken, #43 with chicken. They customized our orders to taste and were so friendly. But it took forever to get our food. On a Sunday night, we waited over 40 min for food. They were clearly prioritizing carryout orders. Even with that, I'd still highly recommend it.
Delicious food! Very kind service. The food took a while to come out, but it was worth it. :)
This place is AMAZING! I love their food. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Portions are good sized and the prices are reasonable. I would eat here nearly everyday if I could.
Poor service. The person waiting on us wasn't even welcoming and had such a sullen face. Just felt like getting up and walking out but hubby had really wanted to have some Thai. So just kept quiet and put up with a very rude server. Food was average. We ordered 4 dishes and they served us just one measly bowl of rice to be shared by 4 people. Needless to say had to ask them to provide us with more rice. Never going back again. Very disappointed.
Affordable, authentic, decent food, and friendly and attentive wait staff.
The curry is amazing! Really nice staff and owners. Definitely recommend.
I ordered the lemon grass chicken. It was tasty, but no taste of lemongrass. My husband ordered the ginger shrimp, there again no taste of ginger! What's up with that?
The food here is delicious!!! And the service is excellent. I'm from out of town but definitely glad I stopped by.
Small quaint place. Very good food. Polite staff with good service. Did I say very good food?
Great food and awesome service! This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area!
Wild Ginger seves Thai family food. They are the gauge to measure food service excellence. This family runs an oasis of culinary delight. This is the best Thai food in Colorado and beyond...
Great service and great food, been coming here for years and it's always top notch. They have a slightly different style of pad Thai, not as sweet and white vs red, make sure to try it spicy!
Always consistently delicious. Service is A+!
Great lunch portion, very fair price and good Thai-American cuisine. Friendly efficient staff. The building is South facing so it allows alot of natural light. I also just made $48 an hour working from home and you can to....Just kidding. The place is great though!!!
Delicious
Great food, decent portions and really nice service. The servers are nice and kind. Vegetable Fried Rice was just perfect!
Sometimes the food takes a minute, but it's because it's prepared fresh. The best Thai food I've had in a long time, and run by a wonderful family. Will absolutely come back every time I'm in town.
Authentic and delicious!!!
Food was outstanding. Atmosphere was very pleasant. Service was excellent.
Very nice ladies. I got the sweet and sour combo... Not for me I hate celery and it has celery. My kid had chicken fried rice, a little plain... I do plan on going back to try the Curry. Not a bad experience going to give it another chance
We LOVE wild ginger!! Kon knows her customers by name and is always super friendly. Elmer makes the most delicious Pad Thai anywhere, seriously, hands down. If you're feeling brave, go Kill Me Hot and get a side of peanut sauce. Come for the food, keep coming back for the service.
Always great!!!
Authentic Thai food. Family environment. 16 years later the owners and staff have become family
Best Thai food I've ever had. This place is amazing and the spice levels are for real.
Great food and service
Always delicious!
The best place in Colorado for family atmosphere, great laughs and owners that always remember your favorite meals! Cuisine that reminds me of my Momma's cooking! This is where I go to feel like I'm home!!!
Been going for years. The food is amazing!! Especially the green papaya salad. The owner is such a sweetheart.
I have been eating here a long time. I have followed them to 3 different locations. This location is my favorite. Quiet, quaint, and the food is always great.
Have been going here for years. Live the food!
Panang curry with chicken Thai hot. I love heat and this was good amount. Shrimp pad Thai is pretty good. Service is great and friendly, lots of great menu options. Love the location walking distance from our hotel and lots of shops around.
The food was great and the service was awesome. Large portions for a great price. I got the Ginger Thai fried rice and it was flavorful and filling. The pho was huge! It tasted great. Everything on the menu looks great.
Fantastic food and terrific service! Came here while visiting from out of state based off of the reviews and are glad we did.
Good food and friendly service
I was very impressed with this Thai restaurant in Old Colorado City. I had heard it was the best Thai in Colorado Springs. And I was not disappointed! We ordered the tom yum goong soup which was the best we have had since we were in Thailand! It was the most authentic tom yum I have had in the States. Finally! Others have always had a weird bitter taste to it (not authentic), but this one was perfect. It was enough to be the meal for me and my husband, but we asked for rice to put in it, which is how I would eat it in Thailand. We also ordered the meat egg rolls and they were very good. I especially liked the sweet ginger sauce we dipped it in. By the time our pineapple duck curry came, we were stuffed, so we just took a taste and had it packed up to go. It was delicious. I actually prefer green curry or panaag curry, but thought we'd try something different. The duck was tender and yummy. And if you like a little sweet burst of pineapple, you will like this! Sorry, did not take pics of the egg rolls or curry.
Best authentic Thai Food in Colorado Springs!
My wife and I have been coming here for 14 years. Now in their third location they still call us by name and serve up the best Thai food in town!
Was a great spot to get amazing Thai food!
Good food, good kao pad (chicken fried rice) ask for extra green oinions ;)
Customer service is spot on, they're very nice and welcoming! The facility is okay, the lights are very bright though, which is good I guess so you can see how clean or dirty a facility is, the decor isn't too impressive, it had a sense of a "kind of fancier version of a Chinese takeout restaurant" . We took our food to go and I have a very sensitive nose, I can legitimately smell almost everything. We ordered pad see ew, fried rice and calamari.. the calamari made the entire car smell and I figured "maybe it's the seasonings...." Then we took it home and as minutes flew by, it got stronger..... It sat in the fridge overnight, the next day, opened the fridge and it just smelled awful. Even my husband who has a broken sense of smell couldn't stand it.... So because of that stench, I didn't feel comfortable eating the fried rice or the pad see ew... Which my husband said was delicious, but idk, the quality of the ingredients is questionable for me. I've taken calamari home from other places and they have never made my entire house smell or made my house smell period. Sadly, we won't be coming back. On a more positive note, I did have 1 calamari and it was fried to perfection.
Pho was pretty great, service was super slow (55 minutes to get that Pho), but oh well. With a glass of wine and good company, who really cares?
The food is delicious and the staff are incredibly sweet. the line can get fairly long at dinner time but around when they open for lunch theres no wait. The spiciness you specify might not be the one you get but it's good flavor no matter what!
Service was really good. Food was good but Ive eaten more authentic Thai food.
Hands down, the BEST Thai food in the Springs. Fantastic, family owned restaurant. Great lunch specials!
Read great reviews about this place. Shown date and times that they were opened. Arrived before 8 on Thursday and they were closed for no reason........ disappointed. Glad that this happened because we found Rudy's BBQ....... Awesome.
Authentic Thai food for a very good price. Delicious Tom Yum soup & employees are very nice.
We really enjoyed eating here. Good variety on the menu and we felt comfortable with trying things other than our old standbys and we weren’t disappointed. Run by a family of Laotian people that actually take time every year to go home and visit family in Laos so they just close the restaurant and go. Good food. Nice people. Great atmosphere
amazing food and wonderful service
When I'm in Colorado springs I go to wild ginger...pad thai is the best
Always consistently amazing since we started coming here 8 years ago. The best people in the best atmosphere with the best food!!! My parents will not come to visit Colorado without making a stop to Wild Ginger.
Wilde Ginger Thai is fantastic! They treat you like family and make sure you never leave hungry.
Good portions. Very tasty. Not much atmosphere.
Food is excellent. Service is okay.
This restaurant is decorated nicely. The family is very welcoming as soon as you enter the restuarant. The food amount was plentiful. Nice quick stop if you are in the area craving for Thai food. My complaint was on the spice level of my Pad Thai. I asked for the the spicyest level (Thai spice level) and it was not spicy at all. Note, the food tasted good but just had to add more seasonings when I made it home.
Best thai food I have ever had. Great service and amazing food.
Good food. Nothing to write home about
Terrific family run restaurant in Old Colorado Springs. Good food and service.
Wonderful Thai. I lived in LA which has great Thai. Every bit as good as the best in LA
Both times I've eaten lunch here it's been a great experience! Seated quickly, served quickly and generous portions for decent prices. The food was amazing as was the service!
Great food. Slow getting to you. Call ahead and order or expect to wait for at least an hour.
Great food, staff could have been a little more friendlier.
We were so Hungry and we look up for where to eat dinner we saw reviews of this place it was good and we decided to go first order took about 25 minutes we only order 2 dishes And it was awful food and they didn't even have rolls on that day very bad experience for us.
Panang was so tasty. Rice cooked to perfection.
Fresh ingredients, cooked & seasoned to perfection! One of the very best Thai experiences of my life.
Best Thai food in town!
Very friendly and some of the best food ever. Fast friendly service
Wild Ginger is the best Thai place in the Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs area (possibly Colorado Springs as well). They take great care of you and their service is flexible and fast. I order take-out and sit in regularly. Their levels of "hot" far exceed anywhere else I've been in the Springs. Ranging from no-heat to triple-Thai-hot and above. The family that runs this place is super friendly and will remember you. Thanks for the great food and service Wild Ginger.
Love! Wild Ginger! You can make any dish as spicy as you like. They cook everything to order and it's a warm, inviting atmosphere.
The food never disappoints us. It was delicious and hot when it arrived to our table. Wait staff are always friendly and are there when you need them, but not hovering.
Very Thai, authentic in all they offer! Amazing Thai tea!the bad: expensive to locals
The food was very tasty and highly satisfying plus the service was excellent. The cost of lunch was a good value in relation to the serving size.
Green curry was fabulous -so delicious. Pad se eew (I think
Food was good but the dishes were small
Wild Ginger is a restaurant that has had many locations in the past 10 years. In the past 10 years, I've noticed that the quality of their food has only gotten higher. Personally, my favorite dish is Rad Na Puck. Everything has an amazing flavor, and although some things don't look very appetizing, they still taste just as good. The spice levels that can be chosen go from mild to extremely hot, a selection worth mentioning because they handle it so well. The way they add spice doesn't take away from the rest of the flavor, but instead compliments the rest of the flavors present. Although, my problems with the restaurant do not come from the food, but instead the quality of the building itself. While the interior design of the restaurant is pleasing to the eyes, I have two complaints on things that are unintended. On one of thr booth seats, the seat is repaired with duct tape, which inclines me every time i sit down to sit in a different seat. Another thing is that there appears to be stains on the ceiling. Other than those two things, the restaurant is an extremely nice place to go with friends, family, and business coworkers alike.
