Here you will see all the opinions of real people who buy the services of Vert Kitchen (Restaurant) in the area close to the state of Colorado.
Nowadays the firm gets a rating of 4.5 out of 5 and that score was based on 373 reviews.
You may have noticed that it has an average rating is practically the top, and it is based on a large number of feddbacks, so we may be quite sure that the evaluation is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to give their review when they are happy with the service, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to give evaluations when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant is classified in the category of French restaurant.
This is an amazing spot!! The food tasted like it came directly from a farm out back, my friend kept saying this to describe it to others- so clean, filling, flavorful, and pretty healthy too. Cozy atmosphere, also good drinks. Portions are good-sized too, absolutely worth visiting. Oh and the vegan mushroom soup HOLY WOW that was amazing. Lemonade was also really good, and they do free refills which I appreciated...in my experience usually for high quality lemonade/juices that is not the case.
This place is absolutely awesome. Great service, attentive staff and fresh organic dishes. Their gluten free cookies and pasta salad are the best!
I love this place and the food here, but when they get busy, the staff really loses it. We've had paid orders forgotten, very rude staff and just general chaos. They need to figure out how to manage their busy-ness better, or at least be nicer to their customers when under pressure.
Very nice people pretty good restaurant not so clean as I would love. a little cramped both inside and out but the food is good. I love the watermelon soup.
Good food, nice sized portions in a quaint part of town. Great for grabbing a bite before heading out for the day. Limited seating and just small overall but worth the wait for a seat
Coffee taste good. One of my favorite places in Denver.
Kids loved the crust-less PB&J's. My roast turkey sandwich was good tasting and good size.
Great food that's fresh and tasty! Their BLT is the BEST that I've EVER had — and the Thousand-Island Potato Salad that I ordered as a side was delicious as well. I'll definitely be back here again for more!
Delicious and adorable. Straight up.
Best GF French toast ever!
Vert Kitchen is your little piece of France right in Denver! All the menu items are healthy and the sides are absolutely delicious! There’s a coffee shop right next door the leads out to the patio as well! It’s the perfect way to enjoy a meal with friends. Parking is pretty easy to find as well. Get there before the lunch rush to grab a table outside!
This is such an amazing hole in the wall. It truly captures the vibe of a French bistro. The rich smell of bacon in the air assaults your sense of smell upon opening the door in the best way possible. I've been coming in every Sunday morning for a small snack and a delicious glass of sun tea. The open faced breakfast sandwich and tomato soup can't be missed.
I just bought a premade ham & gruyere sandwich from Natural Grocers and I will never do that again!!! 2 small slices of ham, literally half a slice of cheese, and like 5 leaves of spinach. VERY dissatisfied and disappointed.
Came in here and waited twenty minutes before someone saw me. I ordered and got my food. It was average at best. Counter serve spot. Wish I knew that before.
Best steak sandwich in Denver!
Great neighborhood eats with healthy options
Best BLT ever, seriously. The bread they have delivered in daily is amazeballs.
Good food, healthy and tasteful. The inside is pretty small, but there is outdoor seating. Seems like a nice place fo lunch.
Absolute favorite lunch place. Cozy urban outdoor dining, amazing food, great service
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
great patio, sister coffee shop is excellent too. It’s a couple doors down. I️ had the gluten free cherry and chocolate cookie and an amazing salad. The cookie was mouth watering ❤️
Overall, I have not been very impressed with the food scene in Denver. However, this place was delightful- fresh ingredients, charming atmosphere, well-crafted healthy options.
One of my all-time favorite lunch spots in Denver. The sandwiches and sides are soooooo delicious. I love the backyard patio. I love the cookies. This place is a dream. Definitely recommend.
Great food and great ambience!
Fun neighborhood place
The mushroom soup I had was nice but huge quantity. Limited indoor setting. Not many vegetarian options
Lunch time is SO BUSY but it’s completely worth it.
Very unique food: tasty salads and soups! The staff and owners are sweethearts, The atmosphere is pleasant - just a cozy local restaurant! Must visit! Prices a little high but worth to pay.
Great sanwiches and coffee. Loved eating in the courtyard.
Normally I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. Not today though. I attempted to place an order by phone for pickup and the first time was told to "hold" without speaking to the employee, Vivian. I was on hold for 5 minutes without being attended to and tried calling again. I was met my an automated answering system with no option to leave a voicemail. I tried again about 15 minutes later and was told to "hold." I asked how long the wait would be, but the employee, Vivian, abandoned the phone again. A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT from a once great restaurant. My business will be going to other places that know how to answer a telephone.
A quaint place with great homemade food! Delicious!!! Service very sweet but a little bit slow.
Have bought salads from vert a few times always thought way over priced and last couple times got moldy stuff from them with hair in the pre pkg to go stuff and MOLD! Haven’t bought vert in months but check out their new scam of a salad pack for the same price mold included. Contacted Denver gov in concern over constant mold even natural grocery has taken back food for a refund after finding mold and hair
Food was great. Really like the peaceful courtyard.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere!
Super quaint yet modern eatery, delicious food.
French food for breakfast, brunch! You kidding me? Best croissant I've had in Denver! (Love croissants, ...but have learned NOT to order them in America. Lol) Great "digs"/ environment. Healthy menu! Good open kitchen!
The sandwiches never disappoint and you can taste the quality in every bite! While Vert lends to a pricier category for lunches, you certainly get what you pay for in taste and portion. I eat here at least a couple times a month and always have great service, even during rush hours.
They have great soups and sides! I got the tomato soup with their potato salad, and my friend got the mushroom soup with their quinoa side. Both were delicious! I suggest this place for anyone looking for good food with good atmosphere at a great price!
A Denver must visit eating establishment! Fresh food! Eat on the back patio. You'll definitely feel like you're in France.
Ordered food to-go. Dude taking my order pulled a Starbucks and typed my name as “Christianity”...when I said Christian. Then they didn’t have the cherries to actually call my name how they typed it when my food was ready. Other than that ...food is good.
If I could rate this place 6 stars, I would. This is hands down the best place to get a quick bite/sandwich in Denver. Their sandwiches are incredible, especially the l'entrecote. That sandwich is so well loved there that they often sell …
Amazing food really good service. Awesome outdoor seating too. Yum!
My favorite sandwich place in Denver! Small and crowded in and around lunch time. Nice little patio outside the back of the store for extra seating place. High quality greens and meats. I take friends/family here whenever they come visit me.
Delicious. Great setting. Parking on street.
I love their chocolate cookies and sandwiches
There aren’t many places in Denver that can do a cappuccino that reminds me of being in Europe. Vert is one of them. Need I say more?
Chopped salad greasy and flavorless. All roasted ingredients covered in oil as well!! How this place has great reviews is bewildering?! Very pricy as well. Salad and mediocre sandwich was $40. Nice atmosphere on patio but otherwise total waste of money.
All of the food is high quality and delicious. The staff is very friendly and I really enjoyed the atmosphere
The way breakfast should be. Fantastic coffee too! Will be back for lunch/dinner.
Absolutely fantastic. The food is truly wonderful and the cafe is a very pleasant place. Excellent service rounds out the experience. The croque madame is unbelievable and will keep you going all day.
Cozy, warm, wonderful atmosphere with a beautiful outdoor lounging area out back! Thank you Vert Kitchen.
Super fresh, amazing flavor combinations!
you guys took every last bit of savory flavor out of the vegan de la saison!!!!! it's hard enough for a vegan to find a good sandwich. thanks a lot! i know it's fall but damn....BLAND SWEETNESS OVERLOAD. before they recently switched to the fall menu the vegan de la saison was the best sandwich i've ever had. i am so mad and sad about this.
Good food. Can't wait to go back.
Nice staff. Tuna sandwich was good but price was not. Overall ok. But not my style
Sandwich was really good but they didn’t put in right salad. They were great staff and clean place mistakes can be made overall great experience!
I ordered the pork belly with the quinoa salad and it was delicious. My friend ordered the tortilla espanola and it was ok.
Truly incredible baguette. ..amazing conscious menu. Not so much vegan friendly, but nice vegetarian options .
Amazing healthy breakfast fare. The no cook steel cut oats are my favorite by far. Go early to avoid the crowds and fully enjoy the beautiful outdoor patio.
The breakfast we had was so good! The flavors were rich and fresh. We will definitely go back!
Amazing neighborhood spot with incredible ambiance, food, service and patio. Very special.
This place is quite small but the food is pretty good. I had the frittata and while it tasted better than I expected and I loved the greens it was served with, it was definitely a bit overcooked and dry. I had an oat milk chai latte from their coffee bar and that was my favorite part of my visit. I'd certainly go back.
Don't miss the curry chicken salad sandwich and cabbage slaw. My favorite. Seating is limited inside, but they even have heaters outside to make best use of outdoor space in back.
Their food was absolutely amazing! I was so impressed. We all got different things and tried eachothers and each thing was so delicious. I wish there were more locations ❤❤❤
Our family loves this small restaurant. They have a amazing menu. Everything we have ordered has been top notch. They are really fast at preparing orders. They serve alot of sandwiches so it's a great place to just grab a quick lunch on a break. I would recommend the wagu steak sandwich it's my favorite!
Everything tasted great, but I got food poisoning after dining here.
Can't say enough great things about Vert. The lunch options are my favorite! The Curry Chicken Salad, BLT and Steak sandwich are absolutely awesome and a go-to for me. Similarly, the pasta salad side is to die for. The atmosphere at Vert is compact, but quaint as you are able to eat outdoors in a private patio area. Overall, one of the best lunch spots. period.
Enjoyed lunch there and this might become my favorite lunch place. Love that you order and pay ahead of time. The place was busy.. which although it made finding a seat a little difficult it is always a good sign of good food! Nice wine list. Good salad and sandwich options. Very tasty! I had the house turkey sandwich .. fresh baquette with jam and goat cheese. Then there is the atmosphere... The outside patio is beautiful. Highly recommend sitting in the back. It will definitely transport you to a Parisian Cafe.
This is a cool little place. I was impressed with the amazing aroma of food when I first walked in, right away my mouth started watering. The selection is great, and for the most part there are sandwiches, soup and salads available. The …
Nice place, good premise. Natural wines, my rosé was great. The bread was awesome. The food was not so. The red onions in the tuna salad were not on the menu, that’s fine but they were so soggy my whole sandwich tasted like onions. Broccoli was soggy. Peanuts in the slaw were soggy, it was dry and the green cabbage was oxidizing. Curry chicken was tasty and everyone was nice. Thank you!
Really cool place with awesome (but a little cramped) environment. The seating in the back is nice and quaint. Food is excellent. I got the braised pork shoulder sandwich with the quinoa salad. Amazing.
Decent lunch , good food and service
Great healthy snack and great service!
Agh, this place has good food and friendly people but its WAAAY too expensive. I want to love it because its right by my house, but every time I go I just get annoyed by how overpriced everything is. Especially if you order it to go because they give you way less food. I just feel like they'd get way more business if they relaxed the prices - look how crowded other coffee shops in this area are.
Great selection. Croquet Madame was wonderful. Good ice tea.
The potato salad is to die for. We have loved every sandwich we've tried here. If you come for lunch expect a little wait.
Super delicious! Lunch comes with a large salad and was very filling and excellent.
Had a lovely salad and sandwich combination, could tell the chef was concerned with the details. Also an interesting drink selection. Be aware that there's limited seating, and much of it is outdoors. Maybe not the best choice on a hot day, especially since there isn't table service.
Beautiful small place reminiscent of an old European cafe.
Had a delicious, large breakfast at Vert! It was a quaint little spot with fresh ingredients. We loved that our breakfast came with an extra side dish - we recommend the oats!
Delicious and healthy! Love the salads.
Always enjoy the food - a bit on the pricey side. Really comfortable patio!
These are the best gyros I've ever had, really fresh and delicious food, the tzatziki is super creamy, they even put fresh cut fries in the gyro, the meat very flavorful and perfect for a casual satisfying meal! Worth the wait too, as it's in a tiny spot!
Food was great! Worth the traffic and drive to get there from our hotel. We didn't get of the giant subs but what we had was delicious. Uber's go in and out of the parking lot for lunch so if there isn't parking, give it a minute.
Well lets say it's a nice local location, good concept. Nice menu, I am local Denver Chef wanted to check it all out. I came and was impressed with the building and everything, nice open kitchen. They seem to have a good thing going... Only bad downside is they have a open kitchen with their Mexicans making your food with bare hands and products sitting out not cooled or looked like there ice wells on the counter looked melted. Just things to mindful of that we the customer see.
Lovely little French cafe, a neighborhood jewel. Busy, but fast service. Crowded the day we visited, we ordered at the counter within a few minutes. Our food (turkey sandwich on a chewy French loaf with fig paste and goat cheese) was fresh and delicious. The side dish (a rainbow carrot and grapefruit salad) was crunchy and perfect. Coffee was strong and hot, tea was iced and bold. A wonderful meal on a blustery day. We'll happily return.
I went here during lunch with colleagues. The food was good and the atmosphere (the courtyard patio) was cute. We will be going back.
We loved the vibe at this small, cozy sandwich shop. Service was quick and friendly. Outdoor seating is great on a nice day.
The best lunch anywhere south of downtown!
Simple menu that uses awesome ingredients to make dishes much fancier than they should be. High quality ingredients, but a bit odd you're required to walk two doors down to grab coffee.
Such a cool place with great food.
I was craving a sandwich on a late Sunday morning and found myself at Vert Kitchen. It's an order-at-the-counter-then-find-a-seat kind of restaurant. When I arrived, I stood in line where the majority of indoor seating was located (so I was hovering over people while they ate) and squeezed myself in awkward spaces to let people come and go through the entrance. So just prep yourself when you head in during busier hours. Anyhow, they have a great sandwich selection and the curry chicken sandwich was filling, yummy and not over salted. There's a decent amount of outdoor seating in the back so perfect for a sunny day!
The sandwiches here are truly excellent. Nice outdoor area in the back too. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.
Food was great, location was a bit cramped. Thought there might be a a few more vegetarian/vegan options from the green imagery but good nonetheless.
Nice setting, great brunch food
THE FOOD IS REALLY EXCELLENT! BUT, spent around $50 for 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks for self serve!! We had to get our silverware and water ourselves and found out from other customers where to find it. We cleaned our own table too. No one told us to self serve or where it was that worked at Vert. That was disappointing. It's super fast good food and if they address some service issues, they will be golden.
Really good food and coffee. Friendly staff. But the venue is small and feels crowded easily.
Croquet Madame was good, egg was perfect. Didn't receive sides ordered, goat cheese strawberry toast was not uncious or salted enough& cramped space were detractors to an otherwise good experience
Absolutely loved this French tucked away spot
Yummy food but pretty cramped space.
Delicious food
Waitress just gave me a fork to eat with she pulled right out of the pocket of her dirty apron. Food was good but I won't be returning
Food was great, but its tiny inside come early or you wont get a seat
This place serves delicious foods with fast customer service, I would personally recommend this place to anyone who wants a quick and good lunch.
If you have any food sensitivities or allergies, AVOID this establishment at all costs. I was assured the steak sandwich was gluten free. When it arrived it was on gluten free bread. I asked the kitchen staff if the meat was marinated in soy sauce. One said no, then the line chef chef confirmed it had soy sauce. Cashier, who was listening to the previous conversation, advised me that the belly pork was gf. I again walked back to the chef, who confirmed it was marinated in soy sauce. Ordered the chicken curry salad in on gf bread and I asked for a side of gazpacho due to the price difference. Everyone involved min taking and preparing this order was clear that it needed to be gf. Gazpacho arrived with bread croutons. Asked server to take it back. She never bothered to return with anything. Looked at sandwich and realized it was on non-gf bread. The staff never offered to make another one-not that I would have trusted them at this point. I asked for a refund and was told it would be processed overnight. If you’re going to charge over $20 for a sandwich, staff should have some basic allergy knowledge and for darn sure should initiate some customer service recovery. I should not have to chase them down to ask for a refund when I sat there for over an hour and had nothing to eat. Here’s the kicker-I just had to file a dispute with my credit card company because they had the gall to put the charge through. Seriously.
Best sandwiches in Denver, no doubt about it. Small and simple menu focusing on quality ingredients and perfect execution all in an amazing space with an incredible hidden outdoor patio.
Fresh and creative foods in a cozy, warm atmosphere. I really liked my first experience here. I ordered the trio so I could sample a few items and they were all delicious. The brie and broccoli soup was amazing and I highly recommend it!
Very good food. This place is wonderful.
Went here for their Spanish Tortilla sandwich. The food is delicious, and the back patio is the perfect quiet place to sit, chat, and eat.
In Denver for a long weekend and I visited the restaurant 3 times. The food is excellent and the patio in the back is awesome. I highly recommend the Classic Breakfast sandwich, the Croque Monsieur, the Steak sandwich and the gluten free bread.
Though It's more than you would normally pay at lunch, 1st fight in yiu know exactly where that money went. Ingredients taste fresh, The bread taste as if it just came out of the oven which it probably did and the patio is one of those secret hen gems that looks like A set Of a movie. Make sure you have plenty of time because with lines a little bit longer and food being made fresh to order you'll need a little bit of time to enjoy but I guarantee you will Enjoy
Wonderful atmosphere- from the warm and cozy decor and music to the staff.
From the standpoint of authenticity I give Vert an 9/10. Fabulous locally sourced menu of french-inspired eats. On the palette satisfaction level I give them 10/10, as they provided me an ample serving of pulled pork, beets, and gastro toppings on my french bread sandwich.
Our favorite brunch/lunch spot in all of Denver. Really fresh local ingredients make simple dishes better than anything you've had. Sit outside through the back if you can and try out the rose spritzer.
This place is fantastic. We try to stop by whenever we are in Denver. Great food from scratch.
Food was great. Seating and overall space was a little tight and somewhat uncomfortable during lunch
Lots of choices for lunch
This place is phenomenal!! It has been such a pleasure to watch this place grow over the years and see it evolve into what it is today. The food is delicious and the staff is always friendly and smiling. The prices are worth it if you're looking for an exceptional experience. I would recommend this place to anyone, anytime... hands down! Great job team Vert! You guys got Skillz!
Food was excellent, restaurant was clean and attractive. Got the pork belly sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Their BLT is to die for.
Great food and great location but once in a while the people working are rude and one specifically doesn’t like dogs. So I’m 70% sure he is a bad person
The place was packed, and likely influenced the issue I had with the staff primarily ignoring me for a postmates pickup. They were nice when they did speak with me, but was largely ignored
Great food! I ordered the Butternut squash clam chowder soup and the pasta salad and both were so tasty. I could see the clams and taste the butter in the garlic butter croutons. The soup was really amazing. I can't decide which one was my favorite. The pasta was cooked perfectly. My friend had the pork belly sandwich with coleslaw and that also looked really good. I will definitely go back!
Delicious, healthy, fresh and fast. Don't let the limited selection fool you: the salads, sandwiches, and soups are creative, filling, and feature crisp, fresh ingredients. Although convenient takeout is tempting, don't miss out on the secret, charming back patio -- featuring many tables under umbrellas on several terraces, tucked between brick buildings -- a true urban paradise. Vert even has a mini library of magazines and books on food and design that you can browse while you await your food.
Very good soup, sandwiches, sides - but on the expensive side.
Great quality food and service, love it
SOOO good! Great vegan options too.
