Great atmosphere, service, and delicious food.
Great view of Gore Creek. Fair food.

Good food, but a bit pricey and our waitress wasn't very friendly - she didn't even bother to tell us the specials.
Fantastic food and service try trout testy
Great food and winding creek near by. Nice scenic view
The tortilla soup was amazing
It’s like a NYC establishment but with only a high school education. The dishes are inventive but lacking that last little “push over the cliff” to go from 8 to 11.
Good food great patio. A pretty popular place in Vail. Good bot summer and winter.
The staff was friendly. A little of main street
Nice food /Great service
This is the first place we go every summer when we visit Vail. The braised short rib with truffle fries as a side is simply amazing ... especially while eating on the patio right next to the Gore River.
Nice restaurant right on the creek, close enough to the gondola to take a longer lunch during a ski day. Salads were fantastic - arugula salad and mixed greens - well dressed and fresh. Kale-quinoa wrap was okay, nothing outstanding. Turkey-apple brie sandwich was more like a grilled cheese with some very tasty dipping sauce.
One of our favourite restaurants in Vail with best experiences. Very attentive staff with nice reservation process. The food is probably freshest you can get at the village and with some organic opt. You can't go wrong with lobster cake and buffalo steak. Good wine list but extra patience is needed to make the better choice.
Absolutley loved the veggie burger. So delicious. Went there two days in a row. Great outdoor seating by water.
Gotta eat the Elk. Unreal
Excelente restaurant en Vail, los platos deliciosos y muy buen ambiente.
Great fish tacos Ice cold Stella Delicious Turkey Rubens All food is excellent
Fabulous fool - best bar tender!!
Nice ambiance with a beautiful view of the creek and terrific food. Vail prices though.
Great food, nice location, but the staff was not particularly friendly. We heard the same thing from another party we we're traveling with and they opted not to dine there after being given the brush-off by staff. Too bad it has to be that way because the place has a lot going for it.
Great service, beautiful location, and the food was wonderful!
Unassuming entrance may throw you off, it's delicious. Short ribs and carpaccio definitely the highlight of the meal. A few unique cocktails to top the list.
My favorite , always good, spot in Vail for about 20 years!
Great clam chowder!
The most wonderful view!!!! Food it's delicious and the places is so romantic. 100% recommended.
Great atmosphere, service, and delicious food.

We had a great meal in a lovely setting overlooking the creek. I had the quinoa cake and my husband had the elk. Both were excellent. The wine list is small but good choices.
The farm market is great
This cozy eatery on the creek that winds through the idyllic "neighborhood" of Vail's most premiere shopping, dining & skiing experience, is one of our "Go-To-Faves." We've been here before and will likely make it a plan to visit each time we pass through this most beautiful part of the country. Yes; the shops are over-priced. Yes; the parking is pretty hefty. And yes; the atmosphere plays nearly as well as a Hollywood backlot as it does a plethora of upper-crusty shoppes for the well-heeled. But truly? It's the atmosphere of the mountain range, the slopes of the nearby skiing and the overall heady vibe that makes stopping here worth it all. I would be happy to share photos, but I've taken to spending more time "being in the moment" and less time "capturing the perfect moment." Need pics? Just google 'em. Oh, I almost forgot: the food. It's pretty good; nothing to write home about, but better than most. Bottom line: when/if you're traveling through this mountainous valley, stop, take a gander...and enjoy a pint or glass of wine, then take a deep breath and simply enjoy the ambiance. You won't be disappointed.
Consistently well executed menu. The choices are well thought out and they’ve perfected each and everyone. Occasionally I hear the comment that they don’t change it up enough, but the quality of the food rings through. Hey if you’re short rib is that good why ever take it off the menu.
Went because of the ratings. Food was just ok. Not good enough to go back.
Great atmosphere to go with the amazing food. Just beautiful.
Difficult to find. Good food
This place has a nice atmosphere being by the water, but the portion sizes have something to be desired. I got a $12 salad and while the dressing on it was good, it was basically only a handful of lettuce with a few pieces on feta cheese mixed in. Not a filling lunch.
Food is good but Service is lacking
Not that great, small menu with several items not available. Many, many better choices in Vail.
Great location. Excellent lunch
Grate location, tasty food & good selection of vine wins every time. Highly recommended.
Yummy good. Nice. Quaint little find in Vail.
My husband and I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We booked ahead of time as the place had been recommended by a friend and we were hoping for a special evening to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, everything about our experience from start to finish was terrible. My husband and I both ordered cocktails and after a 25 minute wait they arrived and were horrible. We nicely mentioned to the waitress that my espresso martini was watery and did not taste right and she did not seem to care and did not apologize- she just grabbed the full drink and took it away (then charged us for both)! The food was very underwhelming and for the price did NOT make sense. The gnocchi was bland and tasted like it had been sat out and my husbands meal was similarly disappointing. To say the least we were very unhappy with our experience and would not recommend this restaurant for dinner or even a drink by the river. There are lots of other wonderful restaurants in Vail we love and would recommend over this one!
Came in hungry and ordered one of my best meals yet: Rueben with a side of Clam Chowder paired with the Vail Blonde Ale. So good! Wonderful service and well presented plates. I would have posted a photo but I was too busy eating!
Creek side patio
Delicious food! I had the Turkey & brie sandwich with the truffle fries....Amazing! We had a beautiful patio table right next to the water. Staff very friendly and food was excellent
Unique sides and delicious entres
I have to have lunch here every time I’m in Vail. The food is always delicious. They make fantastic cocktails in which I can tell that they contain the right amount of quality liquor.
It was good, but not what we expected for the TripAdvisor rating they had. Brother-in-law, who's a former chef, was not impressed with his $40 halibut dish. My steak was ok, but not better than off the grill at home. Presentation was sloppy; not what you expect when paying so much. The pro: the location on the creek.
We chose this restaurant because we wanted to dine somewhere with a view and this was perfect. The setting is quaint but romantic with snow and the creek right beside you as you sip your wine. The good was incredible. You have to try the turkey and brie sandwich- to die for! And our server Ashley was so kind and friendly and made great suggestions for what to order. We cannot wait to eat here again!
We had such a great dinner experience on Thursday night, we brought our friends back on Friday night. I strongly recommend the Alaskan Halibut and the Coffe Rubbed Elk Loin, and my wife really loved the Arugula salad with Trout and the Braised Short Ribs. Bottom line, you can't go wrong and you will probably want to return for a second meal like we did!
Very good food nice atmosphere. Nice location. Locally owned and well respected.
Superb outside patio dining by the creek; tranquil, romantic setting. Good, friendly service. Delicious burger and fries.
Great place superior food and service! Split orders size pictured.
On the creek! Running water just about deals the deal. The buffalo wings are great! Get them dry with sauce on side. Just spicy enough without going over the edge. Wine, dogs, kids.
Great location, so nice sitting by the creek. Good drinks
Fabulous food and service! Truffle fries and braised short rib out of this world. Divine mac and cheese! Karoline our waitress was attentive and spot on!
I’m just really baffled as to why people think this place is so amazing. Truly a disappointment for the price. The ratatouille was crusted in a tomato sauce that was dried out and old. I’m not sure why, but this was served covered in micro greens that definitely didn’t go with the dish. Perhaps they were just trying to hide that they were serving what appeared to be a day-old ratatouille. Honestly one of the worst I’ve had. It was served with a mushroom stuffed with quinoa and a bland pesto sauce... and that was the only highlight of the dish! Strangely enough, the mushroom was quite hot while the ratatouille was nearly room temperature. We ordered a side of the macaroni and cheese with bacon that barely filled the bowl and absolutely seemed to be reheated... you know, when the cheese starts to separate and there’s a film of oil that forms on top? We asked the waitress for truffle oil to drizzle over the top in an attempt to salvage the dish. I will give them this though, the elk was well prepared and had a nice balance of flavors. Oh, and they served warm bread. At least that was nice. For dessert we ordered the warm brownie. I’ve had far better brownies from the supermarket. My nephew requested one scoop of ice cream and the waitress said that it was only possible to serve it as three scoops. I find this strange in a restaurant that has numerous children present and a children’s menu. For the price, it should be much better. Take your money and your appetite elsewhere. You’ll thank me.
Good food, nice ambiance in the middle of Vail
Delicious and such a beautiful view!
Food was good. Scenery beautiful
Food was bad, service was worse, maybe the staff was worn out after Mother's Day brunch, not sure

Delicious and such a beautiful view!
Food was good. Scenery beautiful

Not many options for plant based whole foods eaters. Choice of 4 salads, we ended up getting two of those and they were good. There are a couple of side dishes but they were not serving side dishes because it was the last night was their last night being open for the season. Had to ask for bread, which was just ok. Drinks were good, service was good. One in our party got the trout and she was very satisfied with her dish so rating might be higher if the rest of us were more traditional eaters.
Lovely restaurant. Excellent service and v engaging staff. Food was beautiful ... tasty and ample. Be prepared to pay a lot for a decent bottle of wine however.
Great location, great food, great service.
Favorite lunch place, truffle fries out of this world, good wine list
The food is very mediocre, but the service is the biggest issue. No one seems happy to be working here.
Such a beautiful setting next to the river and the food was exceptional! Started with the beet salad- large portions with very unique taste; blend of sweet yellow beets and goat cheese. Delicious!!! I had the Braised Short Rib and my partner the NY Strip Steak; meat so tender; out of this world! The bread was so fresh and warm- we had to order seconds. My Malibu Mai Tai with mango- yummy!!! We both savored every bit of our meals and unfortunately did not leave enough room for dessert. With that said, we are planning on coming back in January with friends and celebrating my birthday!!!!! We will start with dessert!
What a nice place, warm ambiance, food was amazing and the service was exceptionally good. The apple blueberry cobler was to die for!
The short ribs are out of this world!
Great service excellent food good wine.
Nice staff
Great taste but small portions.. Less than 7 onces of meat in the Entree. Won't be back...
Over priced for the food nothing good menu very bland very little burger was below average I could make better on my grill at home maintenance has never been done cheapest painting job ever seen splattered everywhere, they don’t maintain there weeds would recommend going somewhere else
Loved hanging out by the creek! Can be a little tricky to find, if your having trouble just ask a shop keeper. Everything is organic, which I feel makes the price very reasonable. Wonderful! We will be back!
Really good food.
Food was excellent, a but pricey but very good. Service was about average for vacation spot but would recommend definitely.
Gourmet food. Try the elk is amazing. Short ribs can't be beat
I really don’t like it It took more than 40min for the food to come, and it was really spicy, even ordering of the kids menu... The trout was OK, not excellent The ambiance is not that bad, but nothing special Service is not that good as well Plus is a expensive place Not worthy at all
Very good meal especially due to mud season deal.
Scale from 1 to 10.. we gave it a 12.. Great food, great service.
Service was amazing but everyone’s food had too much pepper. Kids Mac&Cheese had so much pepper, great maybe for an adult but not a young kiddo. Again, amazing service and view!
This place is amazing! Awesome beer and wine list, the service is great, and the short rib was some of the best I've had. The Cobb salads were super tasty as well. This place was so good that out of all the restaurants in Vail, we came twice!
food was above average. location is awesome, sitting on the patio next to the stream is beautiful and peaceful.
Enjoyed lunch. Nice view of Creek, good service. Enchiladas were a little overcooked but still tasty. Would eat here again.
My trout & bubbles lunch was so yummy! Great seats right on the water.
Amazing atmosphere. The food is delicious and the service is great! Highly recommended!
The trout was amazing!
Crab cake was spectacular
Great place with awesome patio and great food. Lots of options and nice portions.
Very pricey. Had the Elk and was very tender, but had no flavor.
Awesome food and service had party of 12, everyone's favorite spot. Best brussel sprouts Ever!
The truffle fries are very good. However, for the price of one glass of wine, I could easily buy a whole bottle. I also had their clam chowder, which honestly tasted more like bacon than clams, but as it was delicious I'm not going to complain.

Great staff, view, and food. Perfect stop for some drinks and lunch this afternoon.
This little family owned place was awesome. The food wason point. I'm too full to write a longer review.
Halibut was delicious. Salad as week. Drinks were wonderful.
wonderful wait staff, dinner and atmosphere!!!!
Food was great however we asked for separate checks (table of 5). That went well too until the bottle of wine was added to my check and then a cluster happened trying to sort out the bill with cash collected from others and my cc. I think I was disappointed that an error on the restaurants part created a very frustrated waitress answering my questions in a condescending way. Glad she deducted her $12 tip first.
Great food and service; outside seating on beautiful Gore creek- inside also very nice.
The location is nice, right on the creek. The food was so so. Short ribs over gouda macaroni was good. The ny strip came out undercooked, was very tough, and at 8 oz was overpriced ($44).
Good food, good wine selection. Limited options for veg, but several gluten free options. Little pricey, especially on the wine selection.
great food, great service
Excellent food, fantastic service.
We had a fantastic meal here. The waiter was awesome. The food really good. Not cheap, but as far as Vail goes a really nice meal.
Food was good, service was great!
Great everything. Eat here.
Awesome spot to eat. My dog and I were on a cross country trip and I decided to stop for a sit down meal. I called to verify that they were pet friendly (outside patio only) and they are. The views on the patio are amazing. The trout was fresh and tasted delicious! Next to the patio is a small park for dogs and this place is a must visit restaurant if you want to bring your dog! Thank you for an amazing meal and interrupting my road trip fast food habit and letting me enjoy it with my dog! We had a great time!!!
Excellent!!
Excellent food at this hidden gem!!
NY strip well presented, perfectly medium rare and delicious. Go for it!
If you don't come here at least once a day on your trip for the New England Clam Chowder - you're missing out. Best tables are on the patio!
Very good food and great outdoor seating. If you go from late spring to fall the outdoor seating is great. You can sit down by the river and enjoy a meal. There is not that many outdoor tables which makes it nice and a little quieter
Great view even better food and service. I had the the Salmon which was perfectly prepared. My wife had the short rib. It was nice and tender paired very well with the sides. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Vail area. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food is amazing but the service is a bit slow.
Love the early evening patio, enjoyed a great dinner.
Gorgeous, relaxing setting on the creek. Shared the elk and trout dinners. Both were delicious. Great service.
깔라마리는 약간 매운 소스가 되어있는데 맛있다 크랩케익도 맛잇고 생선 굿
Enjoyed a great meal (the buffalo & the Lamb Shank were awesome), accompanied by an awesome bottle of wine!
Best meal we had in Vail all week. Stopped in for lunch on our last day and what a relief. We've been very disappointed with most of our meals on and around the mountain. Most have been quite expensive and not very good. This gem is affordable and delicious. Try the turkey sandwich .
Very nice outdoor seating, food was phenomenal as well as service! Great place to eat. lil Pricy but hey, it’s vail.
Great cocktails, fine lunch.
Our families absolute favorite dining experience in Vail. The menu is an Epicurean Delight. The patio is a must. Call ahead make a reservation to enjoy the beauty of the river as it flows by. Even in the winter this is a destination. As you may be treated to beautiful ice sculptures out.
Great place. Food is excellent.

Great place. Food is excellent.
