To be able to purchase the " ultimate buffet " for just $16 bucks is a bargain. The breadth of options is amazing. They have sushi, Mexican, Chinese (shrimp cooked 6 different ways)and wide variety of American dishes. I was only disappointed with the oysters on the half shell. They didn't taste fresh but pungent being frozen then thawed thus no fresh liquor (oyster juices naturally mixed with sea water) usually served with fresh shucked oysters. If they shipped in fresh oysters and shucked them on sight just prior to serving them in their natural liquors/ liquids it would instantly elevate the cuisine to a $20 plus experience.

A good amount of variety in available cuisine such as crab legs, sushi, mac and cheese and plantains. Good price. Beware: for crab leg connoisseurs there is a surcharge if you don't eat all of the crab legs taken from the buffet line

The food itself is not too bad. But BE CAREFUL! They charge 2 extra dollars for every cup of drinks. No matter orange juice or milk. I have never found any other buffet in the world that charges extra for non-alcohol beverages. Maybe I didn’t eat a lot. But at least for example none of the Vegas buffets do that.

Nice all you can eat place. You will pay for it automatically around 20 bucks or more per plate after tip so come hungry. They have all your favorites from pizza for the kids to sushi for the adults. They have some warnings on some of their food due to the nature in which it is cooked however this is just for some of the raw stuff. Great service.

This place ruins my strict diet everytime I go near it. I could easily put down 4-5 plates each time I go. They dont waste time with atmosphere or fancy decoration, they know what you're there for and it isn't ambiance. Crab legs and shrimp, check, decent "Chinese" food, check, hell they even have a decent ice cream machine for dessert. They discount for kids too so it's not too bad on the wallet. Beware weekends though, dinner service haa long waits so get there early. Decent lunch option as well, it's discounted and on top of that they serve the same food minus the crab and shrimp. Its goos enough that I got a friend that comes down from Denver just to eat here with me.

I've went here a lot, but the last two times I went I got violently ill afterwards. Only lasted about a night each time, however something in the food I ate made me puke many many times. I believe it was the raw stuff, as thats most of what I ate. Would avoid any raw items at this restaurant. Other than that, the other dishes are good.

I brought in 40 people for my birthday party. We had the party on a weekend and arrived at 11 am (when they opened). The manager gave us most of their largest room. They let me bring in my own birthday cake and assigned a table for the cake and cards. Everyone found something that they liked. I'm planning to go back!

The first time I came here most of the food was old, dried out and they were cleaning/spraying the glass over the food while food was still present. We ended up here a year later (my husband didn’t remember what happened the first time) and it was much better. Food quality and presentation was much better and no one was spraying chemicals into the food.

I love coming here for the plantains! They’re always so good and ripe and delicious!!!! I haven’t been there in a while because I’m taking a break from Chinese food but I would so go back just for the yummy plantains they offer!

This is the best buffet selection in town. Always fresh. The only thing is the wait. But it is well worth the wait and price. They have recently added a sure charge on in finished crab legs,and have posted 90 minutes as a standard for eating.i have yet to see them uphold the 90 minutes. But I do agree with the charge for leaving crab legs unfinished.i personally used to see whole plates of crab untouched as people are still waiting to get some.on this visit that was not the case. So cuddos go to them for helping eliminate the waste of crab legs.

Dont do it to your stomach!!!! Worst place ever. Dont go here it has went down hill without brakes. At first I loved it in the early late 2000s but it seems like they dont care about food quality here. The selection isn't that great anymore. They have the crab legs in the same streamed water all day, tastes like they cook everything in the same unchanged oil. Never change any items until it's gone or alomst, the pizza burned under the heat lamp it was there so long. They put the old food in the same tray as the new food, which is cross contamination. Dont have very many desserts either. Had to make it up with steaks and ice cream

I really, really, really wanted to like this place but I didn't. When you walk in, the fish smell is overwhelming. There's a statue of a mountain with fish swimming around it and a couple of nasty rubber duckies. The greeters were all nice and so was our waitress. The room they brought us back to dine didn't have booths, just tables and chairs. It smelled like the combination of feet and mildew. We were one of the first people back there so I know it wasn't other guests. Sadly, at this point I was still really hoping the food was good because we've already passed a couple of red flags that we should've paid attention to but the parking lot was packed and 1/2 of the restaurant was too and it was filling up fast. I kept thinking they must have awesome food. I tried little bits of everything that looked appealing. Most of the chicken and beef tasted good, some of the vegetables that were with the meats appeared as though they were thawing out. They were not warm in the slightest but instead were cold. I'm iffy on seafood when I go out to restaurants in general but my husband loves sushi and I thought I'd give some of the shrimp a try. That was a big mistake! If you eat there DON'T EAT THE SHRIMP! You know when you do something and immediately know it was a bad idea? That was the shrimp for me. As I was swallowing the shrimp, I immediately knew it was a bad idea. It's been almost 3hours since I've been home and my stomach is still turning. I love sweets and I couldn't stomach the ice cream, I was dry heaving. I asked my husband if he likes his food and he was most excited for the sushi when we walked in the door because they had it displayed nicely. He was also disappointed and he's eaten gas station sushi before. He said this restaurant had by far the worst sushi he's ever eaten. The absolute ONLY things that were good about this restaurant was the greeters, waitresses, seeing the fish as we walked through the door and the price. It was about $15 a plate and $2 for iced tea, plus tax. This place has so much potential because of the size of the establishment, if they deep cleaned up the place, had better food temperatures and food that doesn't taste like it's gone bad. As for me, I will NOT be returning.

We walked in around 8 and they close at 9. When we walked in the host or the guy that was supposed to seat us had a real bad attitude and tried to discourage us from eating there by saying how they won’t be putting out any fresh food anymore. There was still plenty of food left so we agreed to eat there anyway but they made us wait for a table a good min and it was annoying. The food was alright but nothing special to spend your money on and my entire family are sick after eating here. Do not recommend at all. The service was wack as well because the servers kept trying to rush us out. WACK.

One of the better buffets in town, the food is mostly Asian, so don't expect to find a taco bar or steak grill. That being said, the quality and variety of the food is amazing. I haven't counted, but I'd assume they have around 50 different foods to choose from. Friendly staff, good food, and at a buffet price, what more could you ask for?

We go here quite a bit because it's my kids favorite place. It's always hit and miss. Think it depends on what cooks are there... But today I learned a lesson , DO NOT GO AT OPENING TIME. First Time I've ever felt my stomach turn and have to run to that bathroom to throw up. Shrimp tasted like they were last night's shrimp just re-heated. Allot of my go to items were still cold in the middle and tasted off... Will probably be a while B4 going back.

I was disappointed. When you walk in it smells like a seafood/Chinese restaurant. It was also very humid-sticky feeling which also made the tables seating feel sticky. (Probably from all the steam tables). We were sat at a table with dirty silverware and food underneath, which kinda just turns you off. The carpets were dirty everywhere along with the tile. I realize it’s hard to keep clean with that many people with loaded plates, but I seen no one even trying to keep up on the cleanliness. It is primarily Chinese/oriental food very little of anything else. If you want a Chinese buffet great, if you don’t I would look onward. I realize it’s a buffet, however, it is definitely quantity not quality in my opinion. Restrooms I would give a 5/10. Buffet was well stocked and staff seamed friendly. We were there on a Monday night. I personally won’t be returning.

Finally a place where the chicken wings taste like chicken. I have two highly recommend this restaurant because of the quality and quantity of food at this restaurant is astonishing. Stuff kept popping out from all over the place just when I thought I had the most scrumptious dish in the house I turn around and they are grilling up fresh steaks. I thought Golden corral steaks were good but the way they marinate these I will be pitching a tent right next to the grill. And after I have my fill there I go over to the sushi bar and can't believe how good it was the salmon rolls were excellent all of it was good I don't think I had anything bad at just around $15 with tax for lunch dinner is a few dollars more and they have crab legs and all kinds of seafood on the dinner buffet I am definitely going to be checking that out.

Sat us at a table too small for our party against our wishes. Brought us an extra chair that could only be placed in a busy walkway. Had to ask for to be seated at a larger table. After that, the staff refused to refill drinks for the children and women in our party. When my boyfriend asked why this was, the waiter stated "but sir, I kept yours filled the entire time" as if that had anything to do with the rest of the party. The whole experience was weird and we're not sure what to make of it. Have eaten here plenty of other times with zero issues.

Well as far as buffets go, this isn't the best, nor is it the worst. The crab legs are always cold and taste like they have been soaking in dirty water, so avoid those if you can; unless of course you need the minerals (and God knows what else). The rangoons were undercooked and the friend pork dumpling were overcooked. In addition, the lo main was sticky. However, the place redeemed itself with the steak, friend chicken, stuffed mushrooms, and seafood salad. See a trend here? Skip the Chinese food and you'll be happy.

Don't come here it was very expensive for low quality food the sweet and sore chicken was as hard as a rock and they was limited sauce on seaseme chicken. One of the things I liked about it though is the pork on a stick.

My family and I were very disappointed in this buffet. We paid extra for the dinner so we could have crab legs, but that was a waste. They were very tiny and so flavorless that I had to add salt to my dipping butter just to choke them down. Would have just left them on the plate if they didn't have signs posted threatening an additional charge for uneaten crab legs. The rest of the food was mediocre at best. On top of that we were forced to listen to Sponge Bob and some other dumb cartoon as loud as could be due to some brat kids who's parents would rather stick them in front of their phone instead of dealing with the problem. The 2 stars are completely for our waiter. He was very friendly and kept our drinks full.

A huge amount of options. The classic Chinese stuff was great but the seafood I really wouldn’t recommend. Shrimp were ungutted and slit of the fish was iffy, especially the sushi. The staff was very kind and helpful and the place was decently clean. A pretty good bang for your buck if you’re looking for unlimited Chinese.

Dirty, filthy place. Carpet has food all mashed into it. The mini blinds are extremely nasty and torn up (I'm not even sure how the blinds can even get that dirty and unsanitary). The jello and whipped cream dessert was spoiled. Don't even bother wasting your money at Ultimate Buffet. Do yourself a favor and choose somewhere (ANYwhere) else. The waitress was very nice. I hope she finds a better job.

A lot of food and a big variety, but very little of it was "good." Sushi wasn't as good as the grocery store, shrimp overcooked and dry, noodles were dry and some were so dried out they were crispy, vegetables were soggy and dripping in grease. If you want a lot and don't care about the taste and quality, it's the place for you. If you want good food that is prepared with care, spend your money somewhere else.

We got there right at 4:30 when they finished getting set up for dinner so everything was clean and fresh! The only negatives was a lady letting her kid run around screaming and bugging randim tables and the crab legs had almost no meat. Other than that super good! Clams and mussels were so good this time. Omg and don't forget the sushi!

Ultimate buffet is a very nice place to go to enjoy Chinese food of all you can eat. It is not only Chinese, because they also have fried chicken, steak, fries, a very good salad bar, fruit bar, cookies, icecream, etc. One thing I noted the last time my family and I went is that they are giving you a max time to stay and if you pass that, you have to pay extra. That has never been a factor for us. You really get enough time to eat and enjoy all you want, but it can be a factor for others as not every body eat at the same rate, etc. I suppose is to control costs and probably prevent abuse. They have a lot of variety including shrimp and crab legs, etc and they have people monitoring, so when food is running out they replinish at a good rate. Everything is really tasty. It can get crowded, but so far I never seen any major bad behavior or rudeness. Prices are reasonably (and you can say cheap) for so much food. This is a family place and everybody just want to enjoy and have a good time.

We had a bad encounter with one of the hosts having his long hair loose. He was the only one... everyone else including waiters had their hair neatly tied back. I mentioned it to the manager and he came back to our table and threw his loose hair around in front of us. Not professional at all.

Went here once about 2 years ago was decent but made my stomach feel funky the rest of the night,decided to give it a 2nd chance tonight 5/15/19. Started off with egg drop soup which was good but when we got up to get more food there was a ROACH on the counter right next to the sushi. Notified the owner immediately he plucked it up and threw it away with his bare hand and offer we eat there free for the night of course we declined. I never write reviews like this but it was absolutely disgusting don't waste your money/time here.

One of the best buffets we have ever been to! $15.00 on the night we went for all-you-can-eat, including snow crab legs! The items at the buffet were always stocked and the employees were constantly rotating the food items to ensure freshness. They had ample seating and we had a very short wait, even during peak dinner time. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I give the food five stars but the Buffett bars were a mess were not getting cleaned quick enough. The ice cream bar was disgusting. Maybe they just need to give the staff a littke pep talk about cleanliness. Best Asian food though !

It's good enough for the price. Good selection. I saw some enormous fat kids taking dozens of Fortune cookies just they finished grazing. I wish the owners would have caught them at door and Kung Fued them in the nuts. I would give them 5 stars for that.

I wish I would have taken pictures. But here's my opinion: Employees were so nice and courteous. Restaurant clean. Food was good. It's a buffet and you will have your selection on the Ultimate items! My husband had 6 plates of crab legs. If you're looking for seafood here it is. The broth soup and dumplings was my favorite. Delicious!

Steady decrease in quality and satisfaction. For many years, my kids loved this place... Now, we have finally come to the day when we walk out HUNGRY after spending good money. It was heart breaking to try nearly every entree, but unable to feel satisfied...the waste was the tragedy in it all. The shrimp were not deveined... how do you fry the shell onto the shrimp with feces fried in?!? The shrimp cocktail, too. I'm not eating out and trying to clean my meal; takes a sink! And with two forks...a mighty task, meaning all we got was 2 forks and chop sticks

Huge variety of food and reasonably priced considered all the seafood available, including crab legs! Service was prompt and very friendly. 3 stars because some of the dishes weren't as good as they can be and the atmosphere of the restaurant could also be better.

There was a piece of plastic in my husbands food and he almost choked to death. I had to perform the Heimlich on him. The desserts were hard and crusty like they sat there all day. Then I took my grand daughter to the restroom and somebody had exploded diahrea all over the toilet walls and floor. It was nasty. The food wasn't that great for the price. Don't waste your time or money.

Good variety and the proteins are not overcooked, a rarity in most buffets. Tasty selections and attentive staff. Busy on the weekend, so I'd go for lunch during the week for the discount and to avoid the crowds if you can.

Outstanding Chinese food. Even have steak that you can eat to your hearts content and they have generous portions of crab legs that they do not spare, if you could eat so many! It’s truly worth your time, just remember they are good enough that many will be there and you might see a wait for a table. But that is a good sign that they know what they’re doing!

This place is decent and for $100 for a family of 7 people I’m really not going to complain. They have a great variety of food to choose from and the wait to get in wasn’t too long at all given how busy they were. Includes a decent desert. Food tastes good and there’s a lot of sea food, including sushi. Personally not a sushi person but my teenagers enjoyed it. Server was great always kept our drinks refilled. Restaurant is clean. Food is not greasy or oily. Kids pay by age up to 15 years old, so if ur kid is 4 it’ll be $4 for them. You can’t go wrong here, on a budget dinner for a large family. Again not anything special but a good dinner for the price. Definitely the best Chinese style buffet in town.

Was out doing some last minute Christmas shopping and grabbed a bite to eat for lunch. This is about one of a few decent Chinese food buffets in Colorado Springs. It's been 5 years since I've had some really good Chinese food - being from the midwest. Price - Lunch prices are decent, but I think charging toddlers is a bit much. Staff - Very friendly and personable. Maybe it was because of our 3 kids initiation the conversations - but they were very nice at keeping the conversation going. Atmosphere - I think the bathrooms and carpet could be cleaner. Food - Is decent. I've had better. They have just about every American Chinese dish you can think off to include sushi. The only thing that is a turn off is their wall of shame for people who have dined and dashed; as well as, the sign stating a 90 minute limit. When I asked about the two - I was told people could pay for the meals and have the photos removed. Also, the 90 minute limit sign was for those parties that would stay 2 or 3 hours taking up space not eating. That's understandable.

The Chinese food was good. But if you go for the crab legs, don't waste your time. Between 2 of us we had probably 5 plates and could not get one bite that was not shredded meat.....way over cooked and extremely small. I have had claws of crawfish bigger.

Terrible food and way over priced. For two people it cost 40 dollars, and we could have actually had NICE food for that much at a decent restaurant. Never will we be returning to this place. NEVER.
