This Restaurant belongs to the category of Thai restaurant.
My mom wanted egg rolls and they were a hit with this 81 yr old wise woman! I tried the spring rolls again, very good and fresh! Thanks for the referral, chiropractor!
Always fast and friendly service. Food comes out piping hot, and fresh everytime. Delicious!
I love this place's food - everything has been amazing! The Pad Thai, is top notch. My biggest complaint is that honestly they need to be open before 5pm so I can get carry-out on my way home from work. I've passed them up SO many times because of this. It makes me sad.
Great food and friendly prompt service. Will probably turn into a go to dinner spot for me and my wife.
Fantastic food, reasonable prices, interesting minimalist decor. Friendly service. We eat here whenever we are in that part of town at meal time.
The Thai fried rice was delicious. Service was fine. Kind people. $3 dollar extra for shrimp was a little bit high and nothing else( meat).
Their Panang is delicious! The service is great too!
Solid Thai food - unique take on spring rolls that I always enjoy
Unique local dining. Good pad se lew! Friendly staff and convenient to major streets
Sooooo delicious and the entrees come with soup and the prices are incredible!!! My new favorite Thai place in Denver for sure.
Great atmosphere and wide selection of hood food. Friendly service
Family of four ate very well. Service was friendly and our orders came out right including customizations. The food was top-notch, couldn't think of a way to improve. We loved the green curry fried rice with veggies, the spice was just right and the curry flavor was tasty but not too strong
I have called on different occasions for carry out as I know they get busy. Tonight’s carry out wait was 45 minutes on a thursday at 7:00. A bit disorganized kitchen in my opinion if they can’t tirn a two person to go order out in 20 or less.
Best Thai in Denver. BETTER THAN US THAI!!!
I have loved Tommy's Thai for 20 years. Always wonderful service atmosphere and food. I get the Phat Phet with chicken.
Delicious authentic Thai food! Reasonably priced and great service, all the staff is so friendly and welcoming. I'm pretty basic, so I always just get the pad thai, but it's super good and has a good amount of spicy. Recommend going mild option if you don't like spicy.
Deliciouse Food and excellent customer service. Some of the best thai arround.
I've never had chopped bean sprouts throughout drunken noodles like this, and I can't say I'm a fan. It was the only discernible flavor in the dish. My "hot" drunken noodles were much blander and less spicy than my partner's "medium" pad thai, which was weird. Prices are great though.
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD OPEN A RESTAURANT IN PARKER!!!! We used to live close by and frequented Tommy’s no less than once a week. Although I’ve never had a bad meal there, the chicken pad Thai is honestly the best pad Thai I’ve ever had in my entire life. Their tofu spring rolls are also to die for. We really, REALLY miss living close by but the hour+ journey to satisfy our craving is always worth the drive through ridiculous Denver traffic.
Best Thai food I’ve had in Denver. Legit.
Best Phad Thai I've had in a while.
I've been on the search for great thai food in Denver since moving here last year - and Tommy's Thai is the first place that has really gotten my attention. My go-to is the Chicken Pad Thai at medium spicy - which is just about the limit of my spice comfort level. Great flavor, and a nice looking atmosphere - though we always order for pickup. Parking around the restaurant has been easy, too. Tommy's will be hard to beat.
I have loved Tommy's food for years. My all time favorite quick (not "fast") food.
Delicious thai food! A little weird for parking, but that's Denver.
Amazing! The food, restaurant and wait staff are all great.
Really, Really nice and quaint, contemporary place. Lots of windows for people watching on Colfax.
Not impressed at all by the hostess. We wanted to order and take out, the lady said then we can’t sit because the table is for dine in customers. She then asked us to go stand in the to order and wait there! Took us no time to leave the place immediately.
FIRST TIME HERE AND OMG !!!!! BEST THAI I HAVE EVER HAD IN COLORADO , GREAT PRICE, DELICIOUS FOOD. I WILL BE GOING BACK HERE VERY SOON!!!!!
Ive been a customer since 1996 when i started working at a nearby hospital. Back then it was a dive and just as good then as it is now. Love the Pad Thai Woon Sen. This place is VERY, VERY similar to Pearl of Siam which is out of this world! The Sesame Chicken had a deliciously unique flavor, white meat, crispy and not soaked in sauce. The classic Gourmet Vegetable is delicate and flavorful. The Panang was very good as well. Staff are super friendly and very prompt.
Tried Pad Thai, Massaman Curry, and Drunken noodles. Service is always fast, friendly, and overall excellent. Unfortunately, the quality doesn't extend to the flavor. The Massaman Curry was passable, however both noodle dishes were quite bland and lacking real heat or flavor (though I ordered Thai Hot on the drunken noodles). I would rather go to my least favorite local chains in the area, if that gives any indication on my disappointment with the flavor. I still think the best Thai is found in Aurora and DTC, but I will branch out and try the other offerings like Thai 9 and Chada in this area for a while before returning to Tommy's.
Best crab cheese wontons!
Impressively good Thai food for Denver.
This place is a must if you enjoy the textures and flavors that Thai food was intended to have!
Tommy's has been our favorite thai place in Denver for 8 years. The food is always amazing, and well-made. The staff welcomes us and the service is impeccable. It's a small place but the food is worth it if you have to wait. We love the coziness and have been going here since our first dates and now go back with our whole family. Excellent place to dine.
This was our first attempt at Thai since moving to Denver, and my first time having Pad Thai. My biggest mistake was not trying it sooner, the Pad Thai here was sooooo delicious! Perfect flavor. My husband had the curry (not my thing so I can't say how it was) but he raved about it. The service was great, we'll be back!
We have been on a mission to find good Thai food spot near us. I heard good things, and ordered pad Thai, Thai curry, pad kea mow, and Tommy’s tidbits (app sampler). The food is pretty decent, but the pad Thai we had was really unnecessarily salty. It is also the most expensive thai food spot we’ve found for the portion size. Usually we can get 2+ meals for the two of us when we pay $50, but this order only has about 1.5 meals for the two of us. Our mission continues....
Not only is the staff the friendliest people on planet earth but they have the best Pad Thai in Colorado, hands down! Thank you!
Good food, clean restaurant with modern feel, nice staff
Always a great meal! Drunken noodles, hot, with chicken. Yum!
The food is delicious regardless of what it looks. Green curry was our favorite. Service was great and timely
Very tasty, if you like it hot try the Thai Hot.
Dis GOOD, it's really really GOOD! Yummy in tha Tommy!
I have friends that swear by this place but I have never had a good meal here. We have tried it 3 times and it always seems to disappoint. The service is very friendly but has been very slow 2 of the 3 times (>45 mins after ordering). The curry has no flavor and is very mild even when ordered as "Thai medium". Its a very small portion and has no more than 5 slices of vegetables in it. Sorry, just being honest.
The food here is truly delicious and the service is fast, competent, and friendly.
Favorite Pad Thai in the city and I think I've tried most of them.
We are in love with this place! The gyosa were delicate and flavorful, the pad thai exceptional, and my chicken panang curry was incredibly fragrant and tasty (added broccoli). Good atmosphere and lovely speedy service. Tommy's Thai is a gem!
Great food and service.
Great service, food is fine, but not overly flavorful.
The service was great and the Thai Curry was very good!
Great food great staff the pad Thai is the best
Small restaurant, tight seating, but the food is spot on, and the staff are all excellent, and customer-service oriented. Even though the food comes out right away, you won't feel rushed.
Great food. Nice atmosphere. Clear restaurant
Good food. Spicy was not very spicy. Good flavors though.
We stopped by Tommy's Thai while on vacation. The spring rolls were in a wheat pancake-like wrapping rather than rice paper and served with two sauces. It was different than my local Vietnamese joints', but quite tasty. The shumai was flavorful, fresh and easy to slice evenly for sharing, and the peanut chicken curry had a pleasing texture and spice. The turnaround time was very quick and everything seemed to be made in-house. I didn't quite understand why our waitress second-guessed what we were ordering as though it were somehow improper. We're more than familiar with Thai food and worked up quite an appetite exploring. Other than that, the experience was positive, and we would go back.
So good!! A Denver institution. Great service and great food.
Amazing food. Thai hot is legit hot unlike most places. Only reason it was not a 5 star would be because it had a slight mildew smell when we first got here, but seemed to go away with time
The drunken noodles were excellent, and the medium hot was the perfect amount of spiciness. Very reasonably priced for such good food.
Very good thai food soups rolls and delicious salads
In my top 5 thai.
Very tasty and very good service
Great authentic Thai food, family run atmosphere and great service. I have never had a bad meal here.
We had a great time. Very attentive wait people. Chicken Satay was tasty. Would eat there again next time I'm on Colfax.
I love Tommy Thai's make sure to check out the thai green curry it is the best. If you don't like spicy order mild.
Really good food, friendly service, and prompt arrival of food to the table. This place is cool.
Best thai food in town. Prices are reasonable and if you go during lunch the prices are really cheap.
Good food, but not family style like a lot of Thai places. Staff attentive.
Fav Thai restaurant in denver. There Thai hot is legit Thai-hot.
5 stars for service: Everyone here was very friendly and very good at their jobs. Always refilling water and checking in to see if we need anything. 3 stars for food: I really enjoyed the Pad Thai (the medium spice was quite spicy though) and the crab wontons. The Thai curry was good, but not the best I have had in Denver. Unfortunately, I thought the Satay was absolutely disgusting-the peanut sauce was really sweet and just tasted horrible. Overall, I would come back for the Pad Thai and great service.
Tom Kha Gai soup was good, but didn't have lime leaf in it. Fast, friendly service and my water cup stayed filled without me having to ask -
I had the green curry, which was delicious. Our waiter was very knowledgable about the menu and helped us make our decision. The atmosphere is casual and I like the touch of the tin water cups. My favorite Thai restaurant in Denver.
The service was Awesome, food Delicious!! Atmosphere was nice most definitely recommend
Tommy's Thai is located in Denver. Wben ever in Denver we always try to make it to Tommy's. Ths food is so so good and the service is excellent. They always get a large tip! There are restrooms available for all and signage is easily seen from the highway. We would absolutely recommend Tommy's Thai the next time in Denver.
This place is the best. As close as I’ve tasted to the food I’ve had in Thailand itself. Definitely be wary of ordering Thai hot... it’s legit hot. Everything is wicked tasty, though I would advocate for the fried egg rolls over the spring rolls.
I forgot how much I love tommys! I had not been here in a long time and was welcomed back to a generous, delicious moderately priced lunch!
This is just hands-down the best Pad Thai I’ve had in Denver. 5 stars for the food. Only thing I wish is that they didn’t close after lunch. The only times I can pick up take out are btwn 3-4pm and they are closed during that time.
There is not a pad Thai like this anywhere!! We have gotten take out as well as eaten in and never been disappointed. This is a little hidden gem
Great little place! Absolute fest to the tastebuds at a reasonable price. Perfect portions for when you don't want to deal with to-go containers.
Simple yet excellent food
We stopped here to grab dinner before a show at the Bluebird and I thought the food was really good. Their spice level is a little milder then what I'm used to at US Thai Cafe, so I got it hotter then I usual. Overall great food, and good service.
The best pad thai
Bad food... I had to send it back. Ordered the beef and broccoli and it tasted fishy. Took extra long to come to the table. The guy who was sat after us got his food before us. Not recommended
So delicious, good gf options and speedy lunch service
Great Thai food, quick service.
The customer service was very good and the staff is very friendly. We had read online about how good the food was and we decided to try it. Although not for some people, me and the better half down the food to have a lot of sugar in it. My buddy owns a Thai restaurant in Colorado Springs and he told me about how they use palm sugar which is a lot less sweeter and has a really good flavor. When I asked if they use palm sugar the waitress replied they only use white sugar which typically makes the food a bit extreme. If you or a family member has diabetes this may not be a place for you.
Good food, good waitress and cozy restaurant. Nice!
Glad we found it...maps sent us to the back alley :). We went at the start of lunch rush....good thing since a line quickly formed while we sat. Took a little while to get service (just the initial water), but once she came by all was good and speedy. The crispy rolls were great! I ordered the lemongrass chicken. Very tasty, except I wish there was a little.more chicken. My friend got the diced chicken and basil...huge portion. Would definitely go back!
Best Phad Thai I've had in a long time! They're not kidding about the spice - I usually order 3 stars and have no issues. I ordered a medium here and it was delicious, but any more would have been over my limit!
Best service and food! Awesome pad thai, best I've had! Love their papaya salad and they definitely know how to make things spicy. Order Thai level hot!
Having been to Thailand, my expectations are quite high.Tommy's Thai delivered! The staff is attentive and alert and very knowledgeable about their menu. There are naturally gluten free options. I had the Pad Thai Woo San as well as the sticky rice and Thai custard. Absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a fantastic introduction to That cuisine, this is the place to start.
Staff gracious, service prompt and food great!
Fast service, flavorful food, friendly staff.
Amazing food. Great staff. My water never went empty.
The tofu and wide rice noodles, especially the texture, were amazing, very hard to come by
Quick good service, fresh ingredients, good price, delicious.
Best pad Thai I have had!
Great food, casual and contemporary atmosphere, friendly and fast service and great prices. We brought a small child with some food allergies and felt welcome. Wish that Tommy's was closer to home!
Been eating at Tommy for over 25 years! Never once have I had a bad experience here! Great food, great price ! Love Tommy’s Thai!
Best Thai food ever
Yummy Thai place. Nice lunch prices.
The Panang curry at Tommy's Thai is better than the best Thai curries I've ever had in Boulder. Does this mean that Boulder has bad Thai food? Or Tommy's Thai is amazing? Or both? lmk if u have any ideas. The atmosphere is pretty sparse, I wouldn't say it is *cozy* but the food is great. Would definitely recommend. Get the curry!
Place was perfect. Must try the fired spring rolls. My pad see ew was really good.
Sorry quality is gone..used to love the food...I would drive 25 miles to have lunch.... too bad...now it about money not quality:(
Delicious, affordable, comfortable
Very reasonable prices and tasty food. Friendly staff as well
Amazing food and amazing service! We've been twice and both our servers have been really upbeat and funny. The food is really great and the price is fair (maybe 9-12 dollars a plate). Best Thai food I've had in Denver!
Always good Thai at a great price.
Great service awesome food. No complaints here. Keep up the great work
Authentic and delicious!
Still the best Thai food in Denver!
The curry was good. The noodles were ok. The Thai iced tea was tasty.
Been coming for years home style Thai that's hard to beat.
Best panang curry I've had in Denver!!! Luv the wontons as well. Smaller quaint restaurant
This place makes very good food and had friendly service. The prices are totally fair and the atmosphere inside is pleasant. Next time I go in I want to ask if they make tofu with different firmness. I love ordering tofu in my meals and theirs was very soft, similar to that in miso soup. If they do have different firmness that I was not aware of this rating will need to be updated to 5 stars. Definite recommendation for people looking to eat on Colfax.
Best Pad Thai I have ever had! My hubby loves Pad Thai and orders it no matter what Thai restaurant we go to - I always try it and don't like it. So, for me to like this Pad Thai is really saying something! Will definately be going back and ordering some for myself!
Great food and even better customer service. I have been to a lot of Thai restaurants in Denver but this is one of the better ones. I highly recommend it. Gotta try it.
This place was really good, and very easy on your wallet. The staff are also really kind.
Delicious food, great service, no-nonsense. I love this place.
Phenomenal customer service. We came during the evening rush and they took great care of us. They bussed the tables quickly and got us seated with a minimum wait, continually refilled our drinks and went above and beyond to my our experience a wonderful one. The crab wontons were flaky and delicious and the royal chicken was fulfilling. I will definitely be coming back!
MY FAVORITE PLACE EVER. Hands down best pad thai I've ever had. If you like spicy food get it thai hot. I can handle really spicy food, and this is the spiciest food I've ever had. The flavor is so good though. It's in a weird spot but it really nice and the servers are all great. There is parking but the lot is really small so keep that in mind.
What has happened to this go to Thia place. The food is no longer what is once was. Stay away from the spring rolls, this typically Viet dish is unrecognizable, premaid and the wonton wrapper is terrible. Similar issue with the papia salid. Premade, drenched and soaked in sauce, didn't seem fresh.
Tommy's Thai is my family's favorite Thai restaurant in Denver. Just a of caution: heat! I love spicy food and I usually don't have any trouble eating the hottest things, so the first time I went there I ordered the hot version of my dish, thinking I could handle it. I could not. So these days I just order the mild. My favorite dish their has to be the pineapple curry. Favorite appetizers are the crispy spring rolls and a crispy fried tofu.
Great food, good prices fabulous employees.
Love, love, love the food here! Also one of the earliest Thai food places. Deelish!
Best Thai food in Denver that I have found!!! Staff is always super sweet and accommodating with my toddler food requests. Just wish they were open on Sunday's and delivered on the weekends for lunch. Well kinda, I save a ton of money because they don't. Lol.
Service was great BUT food was decent. Not the best place for vegetarians. All the food was very sour.
Great food prices and service
How can a Thai restaurant mess up a spring roll? It was loosely wrapped, in a flour tortilla, no shrimp or tofu, looked like scrambled eggs and sausage with bean sprouts. And the sauce was like sweet honey sauce, not peanut sauce. I even pointed out that it didn’t look anything like a spring roll and they said “no, that’s a spring roll”
Delicious, great portion sizes. Excellent staff. Clean and fast.
The best pad Thai I've eaten in Denver. Their Tom yum is phenomenal and their in house made ice cream is the most creamiest tasty desert to top it all. My favorite Thai joint. Amazing service too.
Best Thai food in Denver!
Tommy's Thai has been a staple in East Denver for years. They have made the interior nicer with a closed in entryway to prevent cold air getting into the main space. The stuffed chicken wings are delicious. They are stuffed with shrimp, pork, bean thread and a few other things. They are fried and served with a tangy dipping sauce. Yum yum yum. Try with a little hot mustard. The sweet and sour Thai is a dish I had not had before. It comes with steamed white rice (brown rice available for an extra charge). You choose your protein (I went with chicken) and the dish has pepper, onion, pineapple and carrot. The sauce was flavorful and just the right balance of sweet and sour. Not much heat which is fine with me as you can add Chile powder or sauce to kick it up. Service was great and servers were attentive and made sure water was refilled. Smaller parking lot adjacent to building with street parking on Colfax as well.
Wait staff is always friendly and attentive, but the food is really what makes them special. I've been here a dozen times and have yet to be disappointed by a meal.
I ordered pad thai and asked for fried tofu. It was delicious and had a hint of smokiness. Definitely watch out with the spiciness, I love spicy foods and ordered it 'Hot' and it packed a huge punch that was way hotter than other thai restaurants. This is easilly my favorite Thai restaurant to get pad thai in Denver!
Great authentic Thai food (I've been to Thailand, and I was not disappointed). Service was great. I'm not sure if my glass ever got to less than half before someone quietly slipped in and filled it back up. Very crowded though. Lots of tables in a small space. Not exactly great for a nice quiet, private meal. Great food. Prices were reasonable.
Best thai in Denver, hands down.
Soooo good. Used to come here way back in the day when it was in an odd building. Its nicer surroundings now and still excellent. Love the coconut ice cream that not too many Thai places have.
Medium is way too hot. Pad Thai is gross. Beef in drunken noodles is gross. Vegetables are canned not fresh. Chada Thai is SO much better. Too bad they're closed on Tuesdays
Great food and service!
