We offer you all the feddbacks of people who purchased the products and services of Tocabe, An American Indian Eatery (Restaurant) in the state of Colorado.
At present this firm has a rating of 4.7 out of 5 and the score has been calculated on 1982 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is nearly the best one, and it is founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can conclude that the valuation is quite credible. If many people have bothered to leave their score when they are satisfied with the service, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to set feddbacks when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant is classified in the category of Native American restaurant.
Run! Don't walk to tocabe. This Native American eatery is the best thing since fry bread! The food is amazing. My favorite dish is the bison ribs. But everything there is delicious. I don't think you can go wrong!
Really, really good food. Staff present were very kind and friendly. Reasonable amount of room to dine in plus they had an outside patio area. We look forward to coming back and eating here again.
This place was one of the things I most looked forward to in Denver! Having experienced fry bread at traditional pow wows , I was holding this place to a pretty high standard. I was not disappointed. The fry bread was a fluffy mass of fried goodness and the toppings an indulgent combination of flavors. Their wild rice was properly cooked, as well.
Food was great 5/5. But if you get stuffed fry bread, you have to wait a bit for it. No one warned me about how long I would have to wait which was around 25 minutes. Otherwise, I would highly recommend the braised bison.
as a vegetarian, this place is on my top 5 go-tos! they never disappoint!!
Really interesting cuisine! Staff is very helpful when choosing. Similar concept to Chipotle. Enjoy :)
We love this little treasure! Note that It can be super busy, going in the off hours can help. The food is always fresh, hot & beyond delish! Their Indian tacos are super filling & easy to customize. Their bison ribs are so tender & yummy... But just a little pricey ( although I know bison meat is expensive anyhow). Please visit & support this amazing little gem. We love you Tocabe!
This place was "okay". To be fair, I didn't know what to expect from American Indian cuisine, but I felt like it was just a Chipotle, with a few different/new ingredients. The bison was the only real surprise ingredient on the menu, which was delicious, but also at $12+, we felt it was overpriced. Also, with the combination of ingredients, it should have been more flavorful than it actually was. We got the bowl and the taco. The bowl was very much like anything you'd get at Chipotle/Qdoba. The taco was like a deep fried tortilla, almost like a sopapilla, with the "bowl" ingredients dumped on top. You still have to eat it with a fork. Service was good, and understanding of "first-timers". Overall good, I'd go back, but just with Chipotle-esque expectations.
Best native American food ever! The servers are very friendly and helpful! If you have never been here you need to run over and have a great meal. I had the bison ribs tasty, with chili beans and fry bread
This restaurant is across the city but worth the trip. Bison and fry bread are very good. I had ground bison stuffed fry bread. My friend had shredded bison nachos. Both are great but we were a little disappointed they were out of bison ribs. Next time. If you've never had bison, this is a good place to start.
What a unique experience Clearly the fried bread and bison pique the foodie's interest, but the food also appeals to the healthy eater, and the staff serves customers amicably. The ambiance serves its purpose unobtrusively, as does the innocuous pop/rock soundtrack at moderate volumes. Definitely worth a stop if your curiosity burns! And they serve beer!
Very good. Bison ribs were delicious. If I lived nearby I would be eating here all the time.
Oh my gosh! I freaking love this place. They have really inexpensive buffalo ribs that are really good. I have a friend that's a stickler when it comes to BBQ but he loved it. Their fry bread is great too. I literally can't think of one negative thing about this place. One of my favorite restaurants in the Denver area.
Imagine Chipotle, but a more wholesome Native American version. Same basic setup, but the take on the food is slightly different. Bowls can have wheatberry-quinoi, and meat choices include braised bison(highly recommended). There are some cool options like the tacos that use a fried bread, or the stuffed fry-bread, which is kinda like an empanada. Top with salsas that have slightly different spicings, but generally cover the same sort of taste profiles. Atmosphere is similar to normal fast-casual. Nice little outdoor area to eat in summer. Parking is a bit limited and the lot is small.
This place is amazing. Best Indian tacos in Colorado. Their fry bread is so great.
Unique gourmet fast food concept, obviously a locavore menu with Native American / 1st American plates and sides. Delicious and affordable, with vegetarian and gluten free options, Chipotle style food preparation and service and casual lunch and dinner eats. I love it!
Great restaurant. I had the Indian nachos and was blown away by the portions, the flavor, and the uniqueness of the food. The service is amazing. The interior is beautiful and there's lots of provoking art on the walls.
Amazing food and atmosphere
This place is awesome! Great food and it's even fast during a rush!
My first native american resturant. The food was excelent.
Good stuff. My favorite is the ground beef Indian Taco. Love the seasoning in it and would love it if they had the seasoning on the counter in case I wanted to sprinkle it on other dishes.
Great quality food, fresh, and lots of customizable options. Parking available too!
Great food. The spicy salsa is just the right amount of heat. I had the bison stuffed fry bread and it was amazing. Staff was super friendly and patient with us, it being our first time going.
First time there, had a delicious “Indian taco.” The fry bread is AMAZING!! Only problem was, I could barely understand what the things on the menu were, so I when I first started my order and messed up because I didn’t know it didn’t come with fry bread, I asked the woman if she could start it over since I did not know what was what. She stared at me as she dumped the whole bowl in the trash. Anyways, the food was soooo good, and I recommend putting honey on your leftover fry bread.
This place had some really great food. And very very affordable. The fry bread was delicious. I was worried it would taste processed but it was fresh perfectly fried and tender. It was almost exactly like my grandma used to make. The wonderful staff were very friendly and pleasent. My only regret was that they did t have any t-shirts so I could show off my love for tocabe. I wish they had a place like this in St.Louis, they would be great.
The Indian tacos are fantastic. Try the Osage Hominy on everything, it is delicious.
Great American eatery with focus on native cuisine. The modern take on traditional food is apparent in the fusion of diffent regions in the menu selection.
One of my go to places to stop by when I'm on I70. Think Chipotle but with Fry Bread and uniquely American Indian flavors. The bison is delicious and the fresh vegetables and grains are flavored perfectly with salty, sweet, and spice. The marinated meats are great, sweet is from either corn or berries, and a unique blend of spices.
It's a place worth trying. The bison ribs were pretty good, but they gave us 3 good ribs and one missing half the meat. For the price we paid all ribs should have full meat. We also had the side of green chili stew and fry bread. We liked the stew except it was really lacking flavor. Needed salt or something. It was pretty bland. The fry bread was good.
First time eating Indian -inspired food. Very Good! The Braised Bison was really good and the Fry Bread was definitely worth trying.
If you are looking for something different this is your place! The food was filled with so much flavor and the staff were super helpful. Definitely will stop in again when in Denver!
American Indian food in a Chipotle, assembly line style, makeup. It's AMAZING. This is hands down my favorite restaraunt in the Denver area. If you're looking for some place new, try it. If you're from out of town, try it. You can't go wrong going here. Only the most basic of taste pallets will dislike it in which case just scurry off to your local Apple Bees where I'm sure you'll be happy. This isn't about that food. This is about an Indian Fry Bread taco, with shredded bison, beans, hominy, lettuce, cheese and hot sauce. This is about eating the toppings off and drizzling honey on the fry bread. This is about getting Fry Bread Nachos. I wish my diet could take me eating here everyday, I would.
Yummy bison tacos and ribs. So hearty! The fry bread is delicious! So different from my beloved Tex-Mex food, but I could convert if I lived here!
Always scrumptious! Indian taco pictured.
I love this place but the last trip here was very disappointing. Girl serving us had an attitude and I understand it was busy but the other guy working the counter was still nice to us. You were out of so many items that I didn't get what I actually wanted.
Absolutely amazing food, huge portions and great prices! Will definitely be visiting here again
We were there, and placed our order for bison ribs at 1:49pm, and were told that they had just sold the last of the ribs, so we ordered 2 bowls. At 2:05pm, we noticed that several other customers who came in after us had plates of ribs. I was highly upset, so my husband went up and asked how the other customers got ribs, when we were told that they were out. The cashier stated that they weren't out for the day, but just needed a bit more time to prepare more. Had we been told that there would be more in a few minutes, we would have waited for them. Instead, we ended up leaving the restaurant very disappointed.
Very good food! A little mix up with my plate but they fixed it without any issues. My parents both enjoyed it as well. And the dessert was yummy!
First time here and we will return for sure! Service was fast, friendly, & efficient. We had the fry bread with shredded bison plate and it was out of this world good! Next time we will get the bison ribs as several others had them and told us they were wonderful. Thank you, Guy Fieri, for your recommendation on Triple D!

I had POSU bowl and my wife had nachos. Both meals were great! The food is fresh and flavorful and the staff were all very nice! A unique choice for fast food. Everything delicious, will be back.

Great concept and excellent food. It's like fast casual burrito joint, but for fry bread.
Good stuff. My favorite is the ground beef Indian Taco. Love the seasoning in it and would love it if they had the seasoning on the counter in case I wanted to sprinkle it on other dishes.
Very corporate but I enjoyed it! Great ribs

An amazing and unique place to grab a bite

Enjoyed the fried bread taco. Similar to Chipotle where you add all the toppings.

Truthfully, I had some reservations as I am not familiar with the cuisine. Well shut my mouth! Tocabe served up one of the best meals we've had in a long time. Locally sourced and fresh ingredients filled with flavor, simple and yet, almost exotic. What an amazing dinner! We loved the space and set up, great patio too. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, gladly explaining what was what. Very friendly, great location, delicious "good for you" food, our new comfort spot.
We were there, and placed our order for bison ribs at 1:49pm, and were told that they had just sold the last of the ribs, so we ordered 2 bowls. Very good food, unique. Had to drop one star because it took one of us so long to get his foods; keep that in mind if you order the bison ribs
Really great food! The shredded bison meat is yummy and we loved our Indian taco with the fresh and flavorful salsas. Going back for sure!
I grew up enjoying Indian tacos at the Oklahoma state fair. When I found this place I couldn't have been happier thier traditional fry bread is spot on! Add the twist of modern to that and you got yourself a darn good Indian Taco!
Menu was confusing, requiring a 5 minute explanation. Food was fresh, the fried bread was tasty. Portion sizes were small for the price range. The server/attendant had a clearly evident strategy for reducing the quantity of the side that you got by pressing down firmly; etc, etc. The bottom line: overpriced.
Pleasant staff, clean, delicious food at a reasonable price. In a casual choose your toppings style dining there was a delicious brew on tap. The most expensive dish was $14 and the fry bread/wojabi dessert brought tears to my eyes so we ordered three more. I will return.
Love the food! Really enjoy every time we're here. The entrees are phenomenal, but save room for dessert, it is lovely as well. The staff is wonderful. It is always a great stop!
I'll have to go again to familiarize myself with the cuisine. I didn't care for it but it could just be my combination of ingredients in my bowl. The fry bread was amazing. More of that, please. This isn't necessarily a place that you'll have time to ask a lot of questions. Pick a slow day for a first time visit.
Amazing Native Indian tacos with Bison was amazing! My kids ha the Bison Ribs & were be pretty delish but the the speciality was their burritos.
This was a new experience for us. I've never really had American Indian food before. My husband and I both got Indian tacos. They were delicious! I wish I had taken pictures but we were so hungry we didn't even think about it. It was a bit pricey but I'd go back occasionally for sure.
So good. Out of towners looking for something different and this is it. Bison ribs and house tacos were on point. Do it.
What a wonderful place to spend Mother"s Day! The food spectacular! So many fresh flavors exploding with every bite! If you haven't had fried bread tacos they are to die for! A must visit!
This place is super consistent. An explosion of flavors in this unique American Indian eatery.
Incredibly friendly staff and delicious and unique food. I had the veggie stuffed fry bread with beans, salsa and sour cream and couldn't have been more pleased. You won't be disappointed and don't get discouraged by the long line. It moves quickly and there's a reason why it's so popular..
Great food, great service. This would've be an usual meal, for sure. This should be a part of our norm. And, try the Indian taco.
i fricking love this place. i tried the bison ribs and somehow forgot to snap a pic. they are savory and lots on the bone, a local favorite. come here for great food, affordable and fast
Love the bison options here! Such yummy and unique food options. We go out of our way to come here for dinner when we travel between the Springs and Fort Collins because it’s that good and satisfying. Try the bison ribs for sure!
I give Tocabe, An American Indian Eatery located at 3536 W 44th Ave, Denver, CO 80211 FOUR STARS. The staff was nice and really explained the menu options. I did enjoy my fried bread, Indian tacol, but it was missing some flavor. I will return and enjoy more of the menu options. 4️⃣⭐
We had a great visit. Staff was friendly and understanding as it was our 1st visit. We left full and wasn't able to finish our plates. I have the Indian taco and it didnt disappoint. Fresh fry bread, choice of 3 beans. Choice of 3 meats (chicken, beef or bison) and choice of toppings and topped with a dressings of choice. Delicious!!
We booked Tocabe for our wedding reception and couldn't have been more happy. The food was delicious, came out quick, and the employees were so friendly! I have been to their store front as well and have had similarly delightful experiences. You can't go wrong with any of their food---it is all just amazing!
YUM!!!!!! I wish there was a Tocabe everywhere! It's traditional food offerings put Chipotle or anything like it to shame. A true taste of the unique food blends of the original people of this land. Buffalo/bison done beautifully, golden fluffy frybread, hominy like the stars, and wojapi to sweeten even the most bitter heart. So lovely to walk into a space away from home and see thriving indigenous faces creating comfort foods and allowing other visitors an insight into indigenous menus.
This place is amazing and I haven't found anything like it anywhere else! I tried the bison and it was delicious! Honestly, the taste of it still haunts my dreams sometimes and if I ever go back to Denver this will be one of the first places I eat at. The flavor was pretty unique and everything was definitely worth the money.
Amazing food. My daughter had the bison on salad, my husband had bison rice, and I had bison on fry bread. Wow, all were super tasty. We all loved our food.
Great food. Quick service. Seating has the possibility of being problematic, especially for big groups.
Love their Green Chili Stew. They make it like Mom did.
Firstly time, really enjoyed the Native American food. Will go back for sure...
Delicious! This is a great, unique spot. It's not often you find a restaurant serving an entirely different style of food. We're all used to Thai and Mexican restaurants but I'm pretty sure this is the only place serving up Native American style eats in Denver. Very fresh and vibrant flavors, nothing I had was heavy or fatty. Wonderful combinations of flavors and ingredients that you haven't seen before but will pleasantly surprise you. It's a fast casual style place, think Chipotle but with different food. The original location on 44th has a great patio too, not sure about the second, South location. Lastly, as is required in Denver, they have beer on tap too.
Amazing food, great bison and amazing fry bread. If your looking to try something different I definitely recommend tocabe
Saw this place featured on Triple D with Guy Fieri and my husband and I tried it out and absolutely love it. Everything is just wonderful especially the Navajo tacos with lots of toppings
Pretty good. The frybread is more like Navajo bread but it's good. Love all the choices! Glad someone finally put native cuisine on the menu. Only bad thing is, I live in Oklahoma!
Very good. The fried bread reminded me of my family's Pow wow. I was very impressed with the bison ribs. Very delicious.
I’ve been wanting to go to this place for such a long time and I’m glad I finally made it. It’s fast casual Chipotle-style but American Indian style and way better. I got the fry bread stuffed with braised bison. I don’t really eat much red meat, but had to try it! Was very delicious. Wish I lived next door so I could go all the time!
Very good food. The meals are served in courses like a traditional French cuisine. Grab a friend and go enjoy!
Delicious! I've been hearing about the only place in the region to get authentic American native cuisine, and I was not disappointed. I will be back soon.
Delicious Native American cuisine served in a fast casual choose-your-own-items restaurant. Tocabe has very generous entree sizes and tasty options for everyone from carnivore to vegan. The parking lot is a bit small, so you may need to park on the street if you're here during the dinner rush.
My Favorite Restaurant (and Food Truck)! I have never had a bad meal here. The stuffed fry bread is my go-to. And we finish every meal with fry bread nuggets. Never disappoints!
Unique food with friendly, helpful staff. Prices were pretty fair, maybe a bit on the expensive side. But the food was excellent and don't think you can find a lot of the items at other restaurants. Get the bison ribs and some green chili stew!
I love the Posu bowls there. So delicious!
As always the food was amazing. The buffalo ribs are life. The staff is so kind and amazing!!!
This was delicious. We arrived just before the lunch rush and got to deliberate a little over what to get. We ended up with a Indian Taco and Vegetarian bowl. I loved that I could custom add the ingredients and everything tasted great. It's an order at the counter spot and find your seat from the available ones. It was clean and had an overall chill vibe.
Very nice. Krystal was very helpful. The dog looked very well taken care of.
Food is delicious and the staff are wonderful! Bring Tocabe to Colorado Springs! Please. Always an enjoyable experience. THANKS!
Fantastic eatery with a smooth style. Bison options for everything and healthy bowls for the calorie conscious.
Very good food, unique. Had to drop one star because it took one of us so long to get his foods; keep that in mind if you order the bison ribs

Felt the food was lacking some salt. The staff wasn't all that helpful in describing what things were. The dessert was described as a pudding that comes with the bread but is actually a berry jelly/compote than pudding
Pleasant staff, clean, delicious food at a reasonable price. In a casual choose your toppings style dining there was a delicious brew on tap. The most expensive dish was $14 and the fry bread/wojabi dessert brought tears to my eyes so we ordered three more. I will return.

I saw this place on Triple D and new I had to try it if I ever made it to Denver. I am so glad that I did!! The food was AMAZING!!! I had the Triple D fry bread taco. It was incredible. The grilled chicken and black beans were perfectly seasoned and then they top it off with lettuce, cheese, green chilies, roasted red peppers, delicious Osage hominy and sour cream! Heaven in a bowl. The staff were super and the place was clean. But honestly, I wouldn't have cared if they served it out of the back of a truck in the parking lot! It's that good!!
What a wonderful menu. We had bison ribs and fry bread nuggets for dessert. The food is wonderfully balanced with spices and everything was delicious and well prepared. Everyone in our party had a delicious meal.
This was a new experience for us. I've never really had American Indian food before. My husband and I both got Indian tacos. They were delicious! I wish I had taken pictures but we were so hungry we didn't even think about it. It was a bit pricey but I'd go back occasionally for sure.

The food here is excellent! Delicious flavors cooked inside a folded frybread pocket. It's all really delicious and a fantastic value. The people working there were very nice and helpful to me because I had never been there before. I highly recommend Tocabe.
This place is pretty good. Similar to Chipotle just new Mexican style.
Excellent food and service. The place is great and definitely going back to Tocabe. Please visit. It'll be an experience you remember.
Family loved the bison ribs, and I tried the "taco". You can tell they use good quality ingredients and the flavors and textures are very good.
After going here for the first time, I have to say I was very satisfied. This has to be some of the best food I've ever had at a casual eatery. Not to mention the staff was super friendly, walking me through each part of the menu, since I was unfamiliar with how it worked. Oh, and if you haven't had Native fry bread, you're missing out! The plates come with fresh fry bread topped with a selection of pretty healthy ingredients (quinoa, three different styles of beans, etc.) of your choice, most of which are vegan-friendly. It's also one of the few places in Denver that is quite affordable (under $10), which was refreshing. All in all, I had a great experience, and would highly recommend it! I'll be coming back for sure when I'm in the area next!
Great food awesome atmosphere. Prices were very fair. People here are very nice. 2 thumbs up
Loved the food. Great atmosphere
Can I just say how much I love this place. The food is always fresh and the service is always great. With tons of natural light you can feel the vibe of this place is warm and welcoming. They even take my weird order with a smile. I do eat vegetarian when I go there but they have a delish assortment of meats including Bison. I mean when you're a restaurant featured on the Food Network it's hard to have a bad day. Try this place for yourself and you'll see what I mean.
Indian fried bread tacos any way you like it! Enough said. Delicious, must try if you've never been there. Also more American Indian dishes to try.
The food is delicious and the staff is super friendly!
Got there late with a larger group, unfortunately, but we were served with a smile. Great food, you shouldn't miss this
Amazing food and great prices! Try the stuffed fry bread with braised bison! Will definitely be taking out of town guests here!
This place is amazing wonderful and the food is the bomb. Highly recommended. The buffalo ribs we're awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome. Wonderful service wonderful people
Great food! They took the fast casual concept and brought a new cuisine to it. I could not recommend this experience more highly. Prices reasonable, options great, fry bread is amazing.
Awesome! Great food! Bison ribs all the way !
Great food, friendly service. They are popular, so it may take time to get thru the line but worth the wait.
It is so good!! Think Chipotle Grill only really, really good! The fry bread was light and fluffy. The ground bison was seasoned nicely. Great toppings! Try the hominy.
Great food...they have a selection of meats and toppings, including vegan dining options. The staff was great and even came around the dining room to check on customers to ensure their satisfaction. Glad I don't have to drive to western New Mexico for a decent Indian taco!
I like it, anything to mix it up a bit is great. Good dishes, I'm a big fan of the flat bread. Good blueberry buffalo. Overall great experience.
Great food, love the flavors! I always leave feeling full and happy.
Loved the food. I bit difficult to find
Loved it ❤️ I was really looking forward to trying native American food.
Best native American food around. Indian fry bread is the best. Osage native owner. Best berry sauce around.
Had the Indian taco with chicken and my friend had pulled buffalo—great flavor combos
Very unique dining. I love the sweet bread of the tacos. Got pulled buffalo and was so tasty.
Excellent! Really enjoyed the food. Husband and I said we would go back.
Fantastic flavor. Great price. Love this place.
Best Food Ever. I don't know how I didn't see this place in the 10 years I have been living near this restaurant. My partner brought me here and OMG amazing tasting food. Amazing people and great customer service.
Can't believe I haven't reviewed this place as it is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. You get a big portion of unbelievably tasty food for not a whole lot of money and they nail it every single time. My go-to is the Indian Taco--it's fry bread topped with lettuce, beans, salsas, and shredded bison. The salsas are not all traditional red/green salsa you may be used to--you can get hominy, a sweet corn salsa, or a more traditional variety. The amount of flavor they pack into every single bite is absolutely astounding and the soft and sweet fry bread on the bottom pushes it over the top. The meat is tender and filling, and the sauces are awesome. Absolutely no complaints here--incredible food at a great value. Would recommend stopping by if you're even close to the area.
The bison is so delicious and tender. I found my meal a bit too spicy with the chili sauce, so those with sensitive tongues should be cautious about asking for it. But overall the food is fresh, filling, and delicious. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well-stocked. It's an excellent alternative/addition to places like Chipotle and Subway.
It was really good! It is set up like a Chipotle or subway where you go down the line and pick what you want. It wasn's exactly what we expected but the food was good and not too expensive.
Excellent food and service. First timers should feel good coming here. The staff was kind, informative and patience with us on our selection.
The shredded bison taco was sensational. Great value for money and the mixture of flavours was out of this world. Will definitely go back!
Saw this place on Food Network a few years back and finally visited Denver and Tocabe. Very, very good. Bison ribs were delicious, melt in your mouth tender. And the blueberry bbq sauce was out of this world! We also tried the indian tacos. Everything was good!
Interesting it was kinda like chipotle but better I would definitely try again.
Great food! I hope I get the opportunity to return. There is so much more I want to try.
Great atmosphere and even better food. The portions are huge and the plates are truly unique. 5 stars doesn’t do this place justice!
This place offered a light, balanced, and filling meal! The dishes are super customizable and I loves the variety of salsas. I also have numerous allergies and was still able to find something I could eat on the menu easily. We ended up here because everything else in the neighborhood was slammed, and they really kept the line moving on a busy Saturday night. And being able to enjoy a beer was a bonus!
It was an amazing place with the Bison meat and Indian fried bread awesome
We had a big catering order deliver and not only was the food amazing, but the service in helping us set up and making we had what we needed was great. I could not recommend this place more and hope to go there more often in the future.
Great place to get awesome food. The ribs are amazing!
The Best Food you could eat. I LOVE the staff, food, location's. Highly recommend
This place is in a shopping strip in the Tech Center. You go through the line and order which we ordered the Bison Tacos. They recommended what we should put on the order as they make it in front of you. The food was amazing and huge portions. Looking forward to going back. Food prices are very good. It's Ok. Went on a business lunch. Not my personal taste which is not to say anything about the quality of the food. Food quality and service are outstanding.
Absolutely delicious a d unique. If you want something different but not too different this is the place to go.
This is a Native American joint, fry bread dishes are the corner stone of their menu. If you like food adventures you MUST try their bison, they serve it as pulled meat and as ribs. Just an amazing experience. Casual, speedy and delicious. A Colorado gem!

So i decided to take a vacation to Denver instead of going to my hometown of Brooklyn (I’ll be back there next time). I seen this restaurant on Diners, Drive-in’s and dives seven years ago and I’ve always said if i ever came back i would go here!! Well here i am! LOCATION: it’s in a small part of Denver but it looks gorgeous out here! The weather is perfect! The trees is starting to look it’s fall colors which makes it perfect for eating outside! Inside is nice and calm with extra seating as well. Location gets an Solid A!! CUSTOMER SERVICE: everyone that works here is very friendly and very fun to talk to. Food was on time and fresh! Customer service definitely gets an A+ FOOD: so i had the Indian taco and let me tell you; the fry bread is DELICIOUS!! It definitely reminds me of mom’s Jamaican fried dumplings but better!! Chicken was fresh, the hominy was good and heavenly! I also had the bison ribs. If you’re not a pork eater than this is a great alternative. It’s $12.95 and it comes with a side of their blueberry BBQ Sauce! It is worth the price!! I had the Jamaica agave soda and it was so good. Flavors in the soda made this whole meal and visit great!! Food gets an A++ OVERALL: this establishment gets an A+ for sure! The food, location, customer service makes this place a must go to when in Denver. And they have the Arsenal game on which is a big plus! lol
Amazing food and great prices! Try the stuffed fry bread with braised bison! Will definitely be taking out of town guests here!

One of the best places to eat. The workers are very kind and help you figure out what to eat and how the process works. The food is always amazing and tastes great.
Great food, friendly service. They are popular, so it may take time to get thru the line but worth the wait.
Great food! You gotta try the braised buffalo!
It is so good!! Think Chipotle Grill only really, really good! The fry bread was light and fluffy. The ground bison was seasoned nicely. Great toppings! Try the hominy.

Loved it ❤️ I was really looking forward to trying native American food.
We saw this restaurant on TV and want to try. We are glad we did, the food was out of this world. The taste, the variety and the quantity was wonderful. We had the Indian taco and the sweet fry bread. Glad we spilit the meal, because we would not have finish the meal. The blend of ingredients was a treat to the palate which made the visit that much more enjoyable. We do recommend this restaurant.
Best native American food around. Indian fry bread is the best. Osage native owner. Best berry sauce around.
Food and service were tasty and good
Very unique dining. I love the sweet bread of the tacos. Got pulled buffalo and was so tasty.
One of its kind place. The food was really authentic amd great.
Excellent! Really enjoyed the food. Husband and I said we would go back.

One of our favorite places in West Denver phenomenal food are wonderful atmosphere and great staff I have been going since they opened and me and my family absolutely love it! Everything is good!

Only get here once a year. Live in PA. But always delicious! Make sure to get here! It was great & wish they could move east!!
Modern Native American cuisine that doesn't disappoint in any way. The meat, the fry bread, the additional toppings are all excellent and worth the relatively cheap price tag. Both quality and quantity are delivered in your meal. As I was having lunch the Denver Fire Department also stopped in to eat, which is as good of a recommendation as any I could give.
Love this place. Always great service and fantastic food.
Really good food especially when you're looking for something different
My wife and I are from Oklahoma and we could not wait to try this place when we visited Denver. We were very pleased. Food is delicious. Being married to a Muscogee woman for 17 years and living in Oklahoma for 25 years, I have become a fry bread and Indian taco aficionado. Tocabe does not disappoint. Their fry bread is delicious and cooked fresh. The shredded bison meat is absolutely out of this world. Cool little place with friendly and helpful staff. It is good to see Native owned businesses doing well. If you are in Denver then you must stop here.
Incredible. All the flavors. I was so full but still wanted to get some to take home. I would eat here everyday if it was feasible. 7/5 stars
We are from New Mexico and have experienced good Native American food. The Bison ribs and green chili stew were both good. My wife ordered the Indian taco and did not like it. The fry bread was bland with not much of a taste. We went out of our way to eat here being as we saw Tocabe on Triple D with Guy Fieri on the Food Network channel. What was very troubling was the customer service provided by the young lady (she was directing the other gal which made me believe she was the lead person during our visit). My opinion is "you can have fair food and great service and will return" but, "you can have good food and bad service and not return". Service is where it is at in my book and the service provided was not friendly at all. This is why I have provided a somewhat poor rating.
This is a great place to get a quick bite to eat. It's comparable to Chipotle. You get to pick your toppings, but instead of a burrito they put it on fry bread. They make the fry bread fresh. They also have chips and salsa. Make sure you try the fry bread nuggets for a dessert.
Food is beyond delicious. After my first posu bowl experience, this is a favorite and a staple restaurant for me every time I'm in Colorado. You'd be happy, no doubt, if you ate at Tocabe.
Attentive staff, yummy food. They were out of the bison ribs, which was kind of a bummer since it's one of their touted signature dishes, but for me it did not detract from the experience! A blend of unique flavors, all made fresh, and they had some delicious cane sugar sodas that completed the meal. Worth a visit.
Great fry bread! Unfortunately the rice was crunchy from sitting on the line too long. The ground bison is good.
So delicious Indian fry bread, PLACE IS MUST FOR everyone.
The food here is great! The fry bread bowl had graat flavor and the bison ribs were delicious. The service was decent and the place was nice and clean. The menu is simple and not bogged down with a ton of options. I came a little out of the way to try this place and it was worth it.
Had a great time, the food is always delicious and the staff is very nice and attentive. Definitely recommend it if you want something satisfying and unique.
Slam dunk! I was introduced to Native American cuisine in New Mexico at the Pueblo Cultural Center. Both that restaurant and this one were mentioned in many articles as being top 5 or so places for this cuisine. There is a good reason for that. Very authentic, tasty, fresh, friendly staff and great prices for the work that goes into preparing these dishes (i.e. marinating, spices, etc.) If you have not had Native American fare and are in the Denver area, make a point to go to one of their 2 locations. A top in the COUNTRY for this cuisine. Simply amazing.
Great food. Everything had such good flavors. The ribs were great. Very nice place. Staff was friendly. This is a must visit place.
Tried the stuffed fry bread.....the best I ever had! The service was great and they were very helpful n friendly! We'll definitely be back.....kudos!
Maybe I picked the wrong stuff so don't let my review stop you, but what we had just wasn't all that good. The price was decent for what we got but we just really didn't like it. Not to much kid friendly items either.
The shredded bison was amazing! So great to see an American Indian food place!
The lady who helped I believe her name was Mandy was very helpful and super nice. She deserves a raise and a promotion.
Very unique cuisine, and well executed! I had the Fancy style Indian taco and it was delicious. Beer selection is minimal, but there's a great selection of local sodas.
Excellent. Fast casual yet delicious and filling. The ribs are tender and perfect! The Indian tacos never disappoint. Great place to bring out of towners for a unique Denver experience.
Tasty, cheap(ish) food and a new experience! Thanks for doing justice to contemporary Native American foodways! I got the stuffed vegetarian fry bread. Definitely would recommend!
Really good food , the ribs and green chili stew and bread were amazing
Delicious Native American cuisine - fast casual, similar set up as Chipotle. The Quinoa and Wheat berry bowls are incredibly filling! I love that it's easy to eat vegan here.
Amazing food and good service, the only bad thing would be the location.
Great food, cool casual atmosphere, good prices. I hope they open another location closer to downtown soon!
Amazingly tasty array of bison, chicken, beef, and vegan native American food. The magic is in the sweet corn salsa.
It’s good. Everyone thinks they are an “expert” on fry bread but it’s just really matter of preference. This fry bread is not real flavorful but it’s not fried in the traditional lard/fat cast iron pan. It’s like air fried I guess. It’s good soft not too chewy but crispy too. I had the stuffed fry bread which is like a giant meat pie. It had chicken and cheese in it. Chicken was tender couldn’t really taste the cheese so it’s probably a mild cheddar. Hubby ordered Indian taco with the hot salsa and the chipotle sauce with ground bison. He said it was pretty spicy. He liked it. It’s 5 stars because I love fry bread all fry bread. Also the cute Mexican/Indian girl with the great eyebrows knew her stuff was confident and fast. Also the cute girl who rung us up I’m almost certain is 100% native! It was awesome to see and hear her accent which all natives have, they just do. Im wondering tho, why don’t they have corn soup?! They need it! Also got the the fry bread nuggets small pieces fried served with sugar and honey is on the table. Definitely recommend! Their mild salsa is the best ever!!
Delicious food and friendly staff. There are a good amount of vegetarian options. I've come here a few times and was never disappointed. Its nice to see a place that is offering foods you can't really find anywhere else. Everything is really fresh and super easy to stop by and get something to go.
Had the Buffalo ribs with blueberry bbq sauce. It was very good! Not allot of places to get Native American food from and I was very impressed with the selection and quality.
My friends and I had a wonderful experience here. Staff was super friendly and patient. The food was unique, varied and delicious.
This restaurant open my mind to the different varieties of Navajo Tacos.
Only get here once a year. Live in PA. But always delicious! Make sure to get here! It was great & wish they could move east!!
