This Restaurant is classified in the category of Mexican restaurant.
The food was very Taste, and my Grandchildern love the food
It's a good place to eat
Always hits the spot not authentic Mexican but something about it just hits the spot
I loved it! Came ale the way from Texas to go to the taco house.. Lol
Affordable, always friendly, great service
Very good inexpensive mexican food. The service was also good.
Great food and employees.
Consistently the same food for 30 years (that I can remember) definitely not the best food but always what I remember from when I was a child. Service is always above average. Decent food for a decent price.
You get what you pay for, but has gotten much better.
Been going here since I was little. love their enchilada sauce and their number 4 meal is the best with extra onions
I have been sharing this very inexpensive and family oriented place since I was 4 years old. I have nothing but wonderful memories and great friendships come out of this love bucket of a place! If your looking for super friendly service or hot cheep food made/served with love...this can be you're place too! I will always be a weekly customer of this historical family restaurant... just sayin
I've always loved that placeway back when I started going there in the early 80s with the family it's always been a good family spot and of course always the cheese enchiladas are the best.and I've never ever had a problem with wonderful customer service
Brutally honest here. You either LOVE this place or you HATE this place. The recipes are not what you generally expect. The good thing is that the prices are extremely affordable. My advice here is that with the low prices, you can easily try it for yourself and see which side of the fence you are on. Personally, I love this place but I grew up on it. I recommend the #4.
Staff is amazing and the food delicious. What more does one need?
I love Taco House!! One of my favorites since the 70's! This one is clean and everyone is very nice!
The Ladies that work there are really nice
I absolutely love The Taco House. I have been coming since they opened all of their locations, decades ago.
Times change, Prices change, Food remains the same, Gee Double Ooh Dee...
Good midnight snack at 9pm
My wife likes it.
Good salsa tacos & enchilalas & service
Been going there for years!!! Love the food!!!
Good service. Decent food. Just tasted strange and the lobby needs a makeover
Never liked it myself.
Great place for eating
Best prices for Mexican food
Nice people
I have been going here for years. There is a wonderful staff here and food comes out quickly. My favorite is the Chile con Queso. I have never had a complete about going to this texmex joint. Very affordable.
I went to Taco House when I was about 13 years old (ca. 1970) when they were still on West Colfax. The first place that I ever ate guacamole and discovered the difference between red and green chili. Recently I returned. The atmosphere is simple and service is basic yet friendly. The food is Mexican peon food, nothing like the chains. My wife had the #4 combo and I had 3 cheese enchiladas plus 3 crispy tacos. The food was freshly made and good. It's a little bland but good and filling. The food is peasant, like the Mexican people actually eat. It is inexpensive and available in smaller portions. I would recommend it to anyone who prizes authenticity. Except for the hot sauce.
I haven't been back in this area in 30 years. I used to go to this restaurant at a location that's gone now. However the #4 is the same as always. I am pleased I went and the service was so quick and friendly. This is nothing fancy just tasty. Enjoy
Large group went. Very affordable. Small business that has been there for along time. Great service. Cheese enchiladas come on a scorching hot plate. I like them. Seems like they are always busy. Well liked by the community.
They treat my dad and I with respect and like family. I love the warmth feeling walking into that building. Much love
My wife and I have eaten here for years! Love this place love the staff. Try the salad plate.
Very friendly staff I drive a long ways for this place but it is well worth it.
Friendly staff and good food for the money
All you can eat on regular menu options only and if you get the #4 Dinner limit of one Guacamole chip. Also this is only offered on Tuesdays and the 20th of each month for 10.50 per person but their food is good.
Surprisingly consistent with unbeatable prices
Great food great service
Love the Taco House! We come here all the time! The staff is friendly and the food is great. We always get the #4 dinner and it’s delish. Honestly, the place looks disgusting from the outside, but the food is good and the price is unbeatable!
Service was great, food was nothing special.
Used to be great still very great prices great staff good had just went downhill
Taco House staff is always so friendly and helpful to us. They always make us feel welcome. I love the Burrada the tacos and salad plate and salsa. The staff always works so hard here. Located in a small vintage building right off train station. Thank you Taco House. It a very affordable Mexican restaurant
A must if you visit or live in the Denver area. Delicious food at affordable prices. Family valued by the employees and the customers alike. It’s like being home when the staff greets you. Would always recommend going! PS- those enchiladas are delectable! Thank you Taco House, we will be back soon and bring many happy and hungry mouths to feed!
Third time! just not very good food took over 10 minutes in the Drive-Thru for two bean burritos and nachos.
Worst I've ever had. Looked and tastes like grade school cafeteria food
Service is great. Genuinely friendly people working there. Food was so so. I really wanted some street tacos. All their tacos are hard shell unless you ask for soft torts and they only came with ground beef or chicken. Apparently they don't carry any cilantro.
Love this place. Have been eating at them for 50 years. Only complaint is they changed their enchilada sauce. Not nearly as good as they used to be.
Clean, family friendly, and prices are reasonable. Recommend going on taco Tuesday all you can eat food. Fast service.

You either love it or you hate it. And I love it! Definitely not authentic but it's a guilty pleasure!!! Yum!! The service is fast and friendly. Prices are beyond reasonable.
Enjoy going here. The food is good and cheap. Been going since I was a kid.
Always good. Staff friendly and quick.
Love their food but the service at this location has been lacking
My first impression wasn't favorable, but the staff and service as great. The food is more fast food, but served with a smile.

This is a family tradition to go here!! Fast and friendly service! Food is consistent
Awsome food great price
Wonderful as always! Staff is great, ambiance is all you could ask for, and how there is ALWAYS a tweaker at the gas station between the restaurant and the RTD station approaching one and all with a tentative shuffle and a great deal on a stolen bike is just remarkable. Different tweakers, different bikes, but same sales technique. Looking like he's about to run off with the money before it's out of the wallet of whatever unfortunate clod soo unaware of his location and prudent behavior practiced within 500 yards of any section of Colfax that the bargain hunter bold enough to make the purchase deserves his fate. Once the money is even partially exposed, the victim would be unable to catch the fiend & his windfall on the stolen bike, if the bike didn't leave also.
The Taco House was great!! Low prices, yummy food, great selection, and very friendly and attentive staff!
Taco House is the go-to place for me and my family. We drive down from Firestone for them!
Our waitresses were very nice and friendly excellent service and good food
Great friendly service and goid cheap food!
Amazing food. Great service. Doesn't look like it from the outside but it is amazing quality food
Fast and friendly. Good enchiladas!
I love this place. Friendly staff. Great food. Heen going here since I can remember
Friendly staff that know the frequent customers. Great little hole in the wall place. Good prices. Special deals. Great enchiladas. The best enchiladas are at the Taco House in Littleton.
Since I was a little kid they have always had the best tacos and the hamburger and the seasoning has this certain taste to it that I just really love and the enchiladas I really good especially when I get them with extra onions and sometimes it's good to put some of the salsa from the chips or the vinegar salsa too
I love it here. My absolute old school favorite. Reminds me of growing up around there.
Occasionally stop by here when commuting on the bus/lightrail and I always get the same thing, the 93cent beef&bean chili burritos that they have. they have red and green chilli options. Always hot and ready and always dank. Super messy but the give napkins to compensate lol and they even come with a few salsas
Fantastic food. Great service. Wonderful prices. Top notch place
Chicken was mixed. No breast for tacos or enchiladas. Prices were reasonable, people were nice, but there was a homeless guy in the corner looking at our family constantly while we ate, felt bad for him. Was gonna buy him some food. Then saw kitchen staff give him some food. He was still there when we left.
Amazing food. Great service. Doesn't look like it from the outside but it is amazing quality food
Just as good as l remember
Best cheese enchiladas as long as you're not looking for fancy dining.
Fast and friendly. Good enchiladas!
Love the service, and their #4, my grandsons love their burritos.
Overall I've been pretty satisfied when I've eaten here the food is Affordable but still has pretty good taste on the items I have tried. It is family owned, the staff seems to be real and know the regulars well.
Good food at great value. Employees were pleasant too.
I just like it, great price.
I love this place. Friendly staff. Great food. Heen going here since I can remember
The food pretty much dog food, but I love my dogs. So it didn't even make it to there bowls. Born and raised in Denver. Trust me, it's not worth the money or effort.
They are Gr8! They will make it right for you
Friendly staff that know the frequent customers. Great little hole in the wall place. Good prices. Special deals. Great enchiladas. The best enchiladas are at the Taco House in Littleton.
Great place to have lunch on a budget
I love this restaurant, the staff is great and the food is always hot and delicious!
Love the staff, always nice, laid back.
I love this place for classic cheap Mexican eats. It hasn't changed a bit and holds a lot of nostalgia!
Good & quick service, good was very good
Love this place!
Very good food at a very good price!
Since I was a little kid they have always had the best tacos and the hamburger and the seasoning has this certain taste to it that I just really love and the enchiladas I really good especially when I get them with extra onions and sometimes it's good to put some of the salsa from the chips or the vinegar salsa too
Great customer care. Feels like home away from Lunch
Excellent service and very tasty food!
Great atmosphere, food, family experience and overall satisfied every time.
Amazing. Love all taco houses, but this location was convienent and fast. The staff really took the time to make sure my family and I we're comfortable, happy, and well fed. Will be coming back soon.
I was pleasantly surprised at the Taco House! Make sure to get the burrado it is so yummy! Their enchilada sauce is SO good. Prices were low, and we all left full and happy. Great place to eat out on a budget. Staff was very nice. My boyfriend has been coming here since he was a child & he's 43! The door to the bathrooms are outside and u have to get a key from the cashier at the front. Bathrooms were clean and they had a space heater in there so it wasn't cold.
High prices for subpar tacos, the rice also had a horrid taste/consistency. 99¢ insta-horchata tastes better than what they served.
Not as good as before enchilada sauce changed
This is by far the best taco house I've been to and I would say the closest thing to original as like tex mex, being from Texas it's hard to find the right food. The staff is always the greatest
Fantastic place. You cannot beat the prices and the food is wonderful. I love their salsa and chips. Probably the best service in town, I just wish I lived closer to the place. I would love to open a franchise in Aurora.
This place is good and great customer service
Great service, very friendly, and good food and good prices.
Food is worse than taco bell
Rounding up my 2.5 to 3 stars. I have no idea how this place has so many 5* reviews. The food was average at best and that's after lowering my standards because I understand it's a simple, no-frills eatery. Waitress was great. With so many other restaurant options, I won't be back.
My dad used to work here when he was a teen and told me about making the food but most of all the food was AMAZING!!!
Have enjoyed Taco House for about 30 years now.
I was not at all impressed, there are much better places around.
Super cheap and the food is good
Pretty sure all the food here is canned, from the meat to the salsa. The tortilla wasn't even warmed for the burrito and the salsa tasted like water.
I am a foodie and I love a good authentic Mexican restaurant. I am Hispanic and Puerto Rican and I was raised more with Hispanic influence. There are only 2 things I really liked about this restaurant and it was the service we received at our table and the enchilada sauce. That's it. The food was far from Mexican food. I ordered a pork tamale and the enchiladas. The sauce was delicious but the beef inside of the enchiladas reminded me of something that came out of a can. My husband and mother in law ordered a beef burrito with sauce and the same thing with the beef and the tortilla that it was wrapped in was so soggy it took on a raw tortillas like texture. It was offputting. The salsa they serve with chips tasted like ketchup mixed with water to make it look like salsa. The chips are store bought rounds. For being called the Taco House you would think their tacos are killer. But they are not. They are prefabricated taco shells. I was super disappointed. I will not be returning and would urge anyone to look elsewhere if you are seeking authentic Mexican food. 61 years in business? Maybe 61 years later the recipe and passion have been lost.
We have been going there for over 40 years. They are the best
I love it
The cheese and coffee are grate. The Staff are friendly and fast...
My dad used to work here when he was a teen and told me about making the food but most of all the food was AMAZING!!!
Good classic Mexican food. Great for an inexpensive lunch.
It's our favorite place
Cheese enchiladas are great. Added onions.
Wonderful food and nice people very great value
Great place for a different flare of Mexican food. Great service, very friendly.
The service was great, friendly and fast.. The food was good and great priced.. the restraunt was clean, and just over all a great experience..
I've loved taco house since I was a kid.
Good food, good service, very reasonable prices a longtime favorite of ours
Have been coming here forever and always have a great meal. Nicole our server is outstanding!
Employee's are friendly .
The waiters were rude , & the plates were molten hot with hair in them . the cheese available tasted like rubber & the waiters were very inconsiderate. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
I love these tacos! Whenever I'm anywhere near this place at lunchtime I always scarf at least 4 of these beauties!
Great Food
Cheese enchiladas are my favorite. AND I always have great service.
Love the food
Good food, service, and prices
Phenomenal the waitress was great the cook was on top of it. I'll be back for sure $10 and i have enough leftover for lunch.
Always love the food and staff every time I come
It was ok not the best but the waitress was good.
Great Mexican food. Kinda sketch place but food is worth it.
Yum cheap fast
Awesome affordable Mexican food.
Cheap good Mexican food
I have always liked Taco House. The prices are low. The cheese enchiladas are a Denver tradition. It is not great food but, for me, it is comfort food. This location is clean and the service is always quick and friendly.
Always a Denver classic. I dont care what anyone says. You have to try it at least once, to know if you're going to like it.
Good place the salsa taseted a bit different then I remember, reminded me of when I was younger
Great semi traditional food 3 levels from taco bell. But authentic enchilada sauce, salsa, guac. The combo number 3 is my favorite; 3 lettuce bean and cheese tostadas, 2 queso chips and 2 guac chips (tostadas). Family owned resturant.
I wasn't a fan of the food here. It wasn't bad it just wasn't that good. The tacos were hard shell and the meat has very little flavor. If you like kind of bland food this your kind of place though.
This is a Denver institution and their enchilada sauce is THE BOMB.
Friendly, great food , great service.
Best food for the best price!
