Always a great place for food, a drink, and hanging out on a Fri evening. They have outdoor seating which is dog friendly, their food is AMAZING! The Pork Belly BLT and the Smoked Turkey Sandwiches are so Yummy! And they have BBQ egg rolls and fried pickles that are great if you want a light munch.

Fantastic!! The food is awesome and the staff is very friendly, personable, and informative. First time in, had the smoked turkey sandwich with Colorado gold sauce. Best turkey sandwich ever. This time had the potato chip nachos. Very unique and the perfect flavor and texture blends. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu!!

Reasonably priced, great service, great food! Loved the fried pickles, the mac and cheese was creamy and rich. I'm always nervous about soggy fries anywhere I go, but that wasn't an issue here at all. And the Colorado Gold sauce, delicious and worthy of the name. Will definitely be back!

This was our second time eating at The Rusty tapp and I'd have to say best bbq in town. Definitely beats hogback grill. Food is delicious. And some places dont now how to make the Perfect Arnold palmers which is my favorite drink but they execute it quite well so that's a plus for me! Our waitress is a very cool chick and the music is always on point!

The food is excellent. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. Here on a Wednesday at 6:30 and did not have to wait. Food came out fast and was fresh. I love the steak fries! Brisket is delicious, everything I have tried here has been great! Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed the food. The service was absolutely outstanding. There was a pleasure to meet with rusty the owner then talk with him about the future there I think they will do very well. If you haven't been you gotta try it.

I can't believe there's actually 5 star ratings for this place. When it was Brickyard BBQ, it was the best BBQ around. Now, it's junk. I went there not knowing that it was a new owner and brand and man was I disappointed. The burnt ends had no crunch or crisp to them, they were either mostly fatty or dried out. The sweet potato fries were luke warm at best. When the staff came around to ask the other patrons how the food was, the lady sitting next to me complained about the burnt ends as well. I told him the same. If you're looking for good BBQ, look elsewhere.

Felt right at home in this small but comfortable, friendly place. Jen and Ryan were welcoming and interactive, despite how busy it was. If you're there on your own I suggest ponying up to the bar for the best experience. The food I had (their special of the day, "Burnt Ends Sandwich" and a side of house-made potato chips) was well made, just the right portion and delicious. It wasn't too goopy or salty. I highly suggest if you enjoy pickles, you get their spicy pickles on anything you order. It sounds out the experience greatly and are finely crafted. Prices are more than fair. I will be going there again soon!

Ribs were thick with rub and pretty tough. We were given breakfast plates which were too small to put sides on as well as a couple of ribs. We had to eat out of the bean and cold slaw containers. We also felt that our dinner was pricey since everything is ala cart. I wanted a baked potato but just couldn’t pay $6 for one! I must say the young lady that helped us was very friendly and prompt but chances are we won’t be going a second time.

In the beginning we enjoyed coming to this bbq place. The food was average and tasty,however what really makes a successful eatery is the staff. We used to go over at least twice a month. The last time we went over in July, Rhian the waitress that was friendly and exhibited outstanding customer service was no longer working at this establishment. We will never go back, the food has average bbq, it was the staff and atmosphere that drew us to this place. Owners should be aware of this.

Service was excellent. But food was nothing to write home about. Everything was pretty much dry. Even coleslaw and Mac n cheese. Would not go back. Maybe it was an off night. But ya service was excellent.

Gordon Ramsey would call it a disgrace. Not consistent quality, I have a feeling they reuse old food. First time burnt ends were amazing, second time dried out with no flavor but ribs were amazing. Third and most likely last time both were dry and lacking flavor. Hot links have always been pretty good. Onion rings were giant with tons of batter on them, not good. Not the place to go for fresh BBQ, as you may not like what you get.

Went here looking for brickyard, found this gem instead. Food is great, can't brag about the ribs enough. Meat falling off the bone! This is a full service restaurant now and the servers are very attentive and gave top notch service! Can't wait to visit Colorado again, this place is on my must stop and eat list.

Service seemed okay however the burnt ends weren’t even chewable and the smoked turkey tasted like deli meat that had been reheated, all the sides we ordered were also pretty bad. I wasn’t going to write a poor review until I saw that they did catering and I would hate for someone to cater an event with this “BBQ”

We just grabbed dinner here. Burnt ends, ribs, pulled pork, hot links and brisket. Sides were macaroni and cheese and fried okra. The burnt ends were completely dry and tasteless. The ribs tasted of only smoke and were tough and flavorless. The pulled pork was decent but nothing that would bring us back. The hot links were good. The brisket was good but not great. Thr macaroni and cheese was elbow macaroni with shredded cheese sprinkled over it. The okra was good. All in all this was disappointing and nothing would bring us back including our waitress who discussed her recent bout with conjunctivitis with the next table as we ate dinner. If you want good bbq try Cue's on Broadway.

We enjoyed lunch at Rusty Tapp. The BBQ was great and the Carolina Mustard sauce was fantastic. We enjoyed the brisket, burnt ends, and the sausage including a pretzel roll. The service was relaxed and friendly. Rusty came out and said hi, which was very friendly. We will be back. There is tons of parking and the view out the windows it prretty neat. They also cater, FYI.

Went there when it was Brickyard. Good ribs, burnt ends were exactly what you would find in a true BBQ town like KC. The burnt ends were terrible. Don't try to fake a burnt end. The ribs had zero hint of smoke, no smoke ring at all. Tasted like everything was cooked in an oven. Onion rings were terrible too, zero flavor. Dear Colorado, if you want good BBQ, drive east about 580 miles to KC Joes! It will be well worth the drive. Highly suggest the owners travel there as well to see what BBQ tastes like.
