REVIEWS OF The Rabbit Hole IN Colorado

Lester Terry

Interesting location, nice atmosphere and creative drink options. The bartenders are amazing.

Ariane Carrel

Such a lovely surprise and awesome atmosphere. That meatloaf was amazing!

Vickie Vik

Neat place to chill, have drinks & dinner. The entrance is also unique where you walk down a glass booth.

Kelsey Sample

Been here a few times and its always Great! Servers are very friendly and very knowledgeable of the Menu. The Beef Filet was one of the best Ive ever had. The Cherry limeade was amazing, too bad I could only have one. And here's the best part...I left my cell phone on the table. I live about 3 hrs away from the restaurant, give them a call and they send it back to me the next day. Customer service was excellent even for Ditz like me. All the Stars and more<3

Terry Irwin

Unique and delicious experience Food was absolutely amazing, with a variety that should suit almost any diet, including vegan options. Atmosphere was a real treat, but I can't see how it would accommodate individuals with disabilities. Wait staff was fantastic, and wait times were very reasonable considering how packed the place was. I don't know if reservations are required, but I'd definitely recommend you get a reservation. It was dimly lit, which added to the atmosphere. I liked the selection of songs that I heard. If I were to visit Colorado Springs again, I'd definitely bring my group here.

Mary Narkunas

Chicken Wraps were the worst I've ever had. And everything was over priced. Wait staff was great though.

K.C Hager

Out of the ordinary food done in a very palatable way. Loved the food though the place was exceptionally noisy. Great atmosphere! It holds true to its name as you go down a stairway to get to the restaurant.

Stephanie Balbuena

The service was great! I was impressed with how quick the food was and how delicious it was as well. The white rabbit is a delicious drink. I had the mojo chicken lettuce wraps and sweet potato fries. Both were very good.

Breana Cicero

Unique and absolutely delicious. Locally sourced, gluten free and vegan friendly.

eric sams

The Rabbit Hole is an amazing place for dinner. I took my wife here and the food was fantastic, service is godd without being pushy. The atmosphere fits perfectly. If you want a great dinner date come here. Well done Rabbit Hole!

Lauree Kreifels

Not what we expected - great food, but overpriced. Clean, great service, friendly atmosphere. Would recommend if you want a fancy experience.

Elizabeth Anthony Gronert

Unique and diverse menu. We're able to accommodate our food allergies and gluten free. We will go back!

Claire Leonard

I would prefer to give this place zero stars. The mushrooms and rice were flavorless and sad. I know they are meat-focused but any adept chef can think of one vegetarian meal that doesn’t suck. My partner had the pot pie and it was also incredibly underwhelming. Do not waste your money.

DJ C

Really good food, first time visit and we were impressed. The rabbit bacon wrapped meatloaf was amazing.

Hoai Song Nguyen

My husband and I booked a reservation on Open Table, and it gets really packed for dinner so I would highly recommend a reservation. Really cool ambiance. Service is attentive and friendly. The food is good, but it could just use more seasoning. I ordered the lamb and it was tender and juicy but very lacking in any kind of seasoning. My husband enjoyed his ribs. It’s a bit pricier but so is everything else in Colorado.

Oluwatosin Oluwadare

Good meal. Buffalo Ribs and lamb are delicious.

Nikki Giron

I was surprised to find out that this place is not overpriced, at all. This is a great place to just have a dinner somewhere that’s better than any corporate place. The sangria was absolutely incredible and the atmosphere was great. By far one of the best places to eat in Colorado Springs.

Lauren Yeager

Absolutely incredible food and normally incredible service. I’m sticking with a five star review and hoping tonight was the exception to the rule. We asked to change tables to accommodate an elderly gentleman in our party. We were celebrating a birthday. Between the hostess acting like we were the biggest inconvenience to change tables and our server seeming completely annoyed our entire dining experience it sucked tonight. The food although was great as always. I normally do the shared butcher block with my boyfriend and tonight did the filet. Both are incredible. Just don’t get Lisa as your waitress.

Chris Green

I've been here a few times with my wife and friends. The food is great and the atmosphere is fun and the setting us unique and inviting. The drinks are also very good. I think the desert menu is lacking, hence only 4 stars. We've gone twice recently for just drinks and desert and found that the staff was very accommodating and allowed us to chill without pressure. This may be because it was after the dinner rush, hit it was nice just the same.

Patrik Essy

5/5. Outstanding. Absolutely best restaurant in Colorado Springs. Prove me wrong please

Michelle Eftang

There are so many things to say about the Rabbit Hole. From the unique entrance to the great under-ground set up. They support the local artists who have finished off the feel of the Alice and Wonderland theme perfectly! The food was high class and full of flavor. It is an experience in and of itself! I highly recommend!!

Erica Webster

Unique and interesting place. Love that the entrance is like a subway underground entrance. Delicious food. Reasonable prices. I'm impressed with the continued theme and very very responsive and polite staff. Will be coming back.

Heidi Ferrell

Waitress/ service was great! We couldn't decide what to eat so we just shared a soup, we were in and out quickly. Right before we left, the hostess asked us if we wanted to cash out before we left when our waitress already came and picked up the $7 we left for our $4 soup. It was unnecessary and rude for her to assume we couldn’t pay our $4 dollar tab when she had no idea what was going on.

Mike Collins

My wife and I have been many times for drinks, which are numerous and delicious, but we don't normally do dinner here. We did tonight and we were NOT disappointed! The mushroom appetizer was well cooked, well flavored with a little heat in the sauce. The salmon was a little salty, but overall had good flavor. The only downside was it was very busy at 4:30, and only got more busy during the dinner rush. I would absolutely recommend this place for food and drink stops!!!

Karen Blackwell

Stopped for a cocktail after dinner. Great service. Lots of staff. Fun and busy place. Will be going back for dinner sometimesoon.

Shannon Hawkins

Holy Smokes! Visiting the state and this restaurant from the state of Maine and I was not disappointed. Well recommended

Drew Hill

This is our favorite place to visit downtown. Lots of great drink selection and a cool vibe downstairs. We usually grab a table for drinks and the food is excellent as well. The bar isn’t huge (maybe 10 seats) so best for a group that wants a table or a booth.

A Prose

This place is super cool. Went here on a date night and will absolutely go back. It was an experience as well as great food. Service was great, food excellent, atmosphere excellent.

Sarah Rannick

This place was AWESOME. Great atmosphere, extremely friendly, and delicious food. Our server Rachel was informative and made reccomendations on drinks and food. We got the butcher block for 2 and honestly I don't see how people order anything else. Absolutely amazing and if you're in Colorado Springs this is a MUST. 5 stars plus!

DIANNA PEDERSEN

In town for vacation and saw this on a YouTube video. Such a cool place. Near menu items. Great drinks. Great service. We would definitely make this a regular stop if we lived here!! Can't go wrong trying anything except I did not particularly like the chocolate bacon. But it wss fun to try

Erin Smith

One of the people in our paryt of four selected this place based on reviews and we were not disappointed. You enter the restaurant at street level from what appears to be a glass enclosed bus stop and you go down stairs as though you are entering a rabbit hole. The place has great atmosphere and excellent service. each of us ordered something different and we were not disappointed. My sister and I are vegetarian and had no problem ordering from the menu.

Nic Casey

Not sure what people like about this place. There is better service and better food at nearly every restaurant in town. Just because it has a cool ambiance doesn't mean it's a good restaurant. The staff should still be friendly and I have never had friendly service or good food.

Crystal Smith

Love this place! It's always a awesome place to come for dinner or drinks and dessert. There carrot cake is always so delicious. Prices are a little on the more expensive side and reservations are a must if dining around dinner time, otherwise they're usually packed! But def check this place out!

Lady Roar

What a neat little place! The staff were amazing and the food was delicious! Definitely would recommend reserving a seat first!

Sean Goodman

Great personality! Whimsical and full of wonder. The pours are generous and the staff provide superior service!

Jethro Gibbs

Amazing food pretty cool theme with the Alice in Wonderland stuff.

Brett Stomps

Looked like a good place. Nice vibe. It's small through and there was a 2 hour wait when I came in. I'll try again next time, but this was a bummer. Saw a few others leave too before getting served. Heard good things though!

Alyssa Love

Our Waitress was so rude the entire time we were there, not helpful when asked about menu questions. Just stare at us like we were idiots. Not attentive when we needed, our drinks, refills, forgot 2 alcoholic drinks, never came to see if we needed anything, gave all of us the wrong food item without asking us who ordered what? Took her 30 min to get to go boxes, then another 20 for the check!! Just horrible. It seemed we were a bother to her. We were a party of 4 and it was Our husband's birthdays ( first time first us all) she didn't want to take our pictures when asked. She never had a smile at our table. With other tables around us she was very attentive and friendly. Other then that, food was delicious and we would come back to a different waitress this time. Awesome place though. Just wish we had a better experience server wise.

waldo salazar

Nice place the only issue I had was they seated us in a little corner behind the bar overlooking it. Which was a really tight space. We had drinks and left didn't get to try the food because where we were sitting was too uncomfortable. We'll give it another shot hopefully then they can get that 5*.

Marina Menken

Such a fun place to celebrate my sister's 21st! A classy subterranean restaurant bar with a cozy vibe. Drinks were cold and food was delicious.

Julius Ulit

Great hangout for drinks or dinner. It has nice romantic atmosphere great for date night. It gets real busy after hours so be sure to reserve table at least week in advance.

Jeffrey Barker

If you like Alice in Wonderland, underground dining, dim lighting, or any combination of those, you’ll enjoy the atmosphere here. It’s great for intimate dining so leave the kiddos at home. The full-service bar is quick and the ladies working it know what they’re doing. The picture here show their “Purple Drank” and the “White Rabbit” (that’s a burning marshmallow. It was SOAKED in vanilla vodka—recommend you don’t eat it). The sweet potatoes waffle fries were on point and perfect as appetizers or as sides to your entree. The lamb shank was cooked to perfection and so was the steak fillet. The accompanying potatoes and vegetables couldn’t have been made better. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s pricey but you’re getting a high class meal in a fantastic setting. It’s a must-visit at least once if you’re only in the Springs one time or you’re about to move away.

Jessica Lane

Absolutely delisious! One of our favorite places. DONT bring any kids though! Not suited for them :) the art is fun but def for adults

Make a reservation or get their early to grab one of the limited seats at or near the bar. Food was nice as we're the drinks. Interesting space!

Natali Leontiev

Hmm, that was a memorable experience. Very nice atmosphere, design. Like a real rabbit hole :) The waiters were so sweet, and helpful. Food was delicious. I’ve ordered a braised Colorado lamb shank. For my taste, lamb should be a little bit more tender, but in general it was a great experience. P.S I do really appreciate the hostess who was generous to my family and seated us without a reservation. Thank You Guys!!!!

Jane Grayburn

Super cool ambience, and definitely one of my favorite places to go out and get a drink on a Friday or Saturday night (if they're not too busy). I only wish they had more vegan/vegetarian options on the menu. They've got some good choices in that department, but they're few and few between.

Colyer Dermody

Very unique place! Full of atmosphere and the food and drinks are great too. It’s my go to for a casual happy hour or a nice dinner. They’ve got some very original dishes as well.

Jade Morgan

Simply amazing food, exceptional service. Very fast preparations times and the Rabbit Meatloaf is amazing. It even has a carrot in the center! If you've got a hankering for a wicked themed restaurant that has what you didn't even know you were looking for, look no further.

Debbie Roe

Great food and service in an amazing atmosphere. Located in the underground level of the old morgue. Highly recommend a visit here if you are in Colorado Springs.

Mickole Lucas

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and our server Leah was so amazing. She took such good care of us. We felt so comfortable and the food was just amazing! We will for sure be back.

Michael Sharples

Holy Smokes! Visiting the state and this restaurant from the state of Maine and I was not disappointed. Atmosphere-Tops, Staff - Tops, Drinks - Tops, and the food? Crazy good. I had Duck legs for an appetizer, steak for dinner and capped the night with chocolate covered bacon. Visit this place!

Ashley Legg

Love the rabbit hole. You need reservations though if you want to make sure you get a seat. There place is a little expensive, but the good is amazing, and the atmosphere is wonderfully Alice in wonderland.

nathan greenhall

Easy to recommend, make a res, eat the steak and the lamb. Finish with a moon pie. Ask for Leah, she is an incredible waitress. Will return when back in Colo Springs

Mary Clarice Hathaway

Cool atmosphere. Great food! The steak was delicious! Not a ton of food variety but what they do have is spot on.

Ray Lago

A wonderful experience. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing.

Glen Bochek

Crazy awesome atmosphere. I would recommend going without the kids as it seemed to be a more aimed towards adults. It's pretty expensive as well. I ordered the buffalo ribs and was actually fairly disappointed with them. Paying as much as I did I was expecting for them to blow me away. Oh well.

Corey Highberg

Great food. Awesome decor and friendly staff. Great atmosphere

Tina Jackson

Simply delish! Look for the door the in the middle of the sidewalk. Best dish, scallops for sure. The lamb is great too.

Tom Quinene

The most unique location on town. Great for date night or drinks at the bar.

Jandi Keum

Interesting space, fun decor, great service. But most of all, amazing vegan bbq portobello dish!!! My husband had the chicken and waffles and was floored by their waffle-biscuit hybrid. I did think that the booths felt cheap and the vinyl was uncomfortable to sit on, but the atmosphere was overall ideal for a casual but nice dinner. Finally, prices were incredibly reasonable relative to the interesting menu and quality of food.

Rebecca Anne

Went here to eat a late dinner, I have personally never been. And I don’t think I will be back. We were seated very fast but after being seated it was like we were forgotten. We sat there for 40 min, nobody even stopped by our table. The water was great.

Nicolas Diaz

I've lived in the Springs for a few months and this is one of the only truly good places that I've tried in town. This place is not just good, it's delicious. I can't believe that I go here to order mac and cheese, but my friend let me try some of hers last time and it was incredible. The mixed drink with the burning marshmallow was dang good too.

Alex Tucker

Usually a decent wait, but easy to get in during off times and if you plan ahead with a reservation. Very neat place and a good mix of casual/classy. Good cocktails and beer list! Food is definitely prepped by a caring chef. Highly recommend the chefs butcher block to share!

chris whittington

I had an awesome time. I'm from out of town, and immediately the entrance was very cool as a photo stop. We went down the stairs and the lighting was dim and appropriate. I ordered the Rabbit Meatloaf and it was quite possibly the best meatloaf I have ever had. They seemed to specialize in elevated comfort food. I sat at the bar and had excellent service. It was a great time for me and my wife.

jered Robeson

Amazing atmosphere. Great drinks. Amazing food. 10/10 recommend.

Natalia .

The Ambiance and cocktails are amazing and the food is good. But I was expecting more for the Ambiance and price. Do not get the cheesecake for dessert. Cheesecake from Costco is way way better. The dessert was dry and had very little flavor. We drenched it in chocolate sauce and it was still bad.

Rachel Hawke

I love everything about this place! The entrance from the street and the underground atmosphere lend to a unique dining experience. It's was dark but not so dark you couldn't see. Instead it was cozy and inviting. Perfect for enjoying our meal- and enjoy it we did! I ordered the lamb and my husband the pork chop. They presented our entrees with steak knives but neither of needed one. The meat was so tender it just fell into pieces and melted in my mouth. Everything on my plate was well seasoned. The mint oil on my lamb absolutely delicious- I could put is on anything. Great for date night, girls night out, or just looking for something fun and eclectic. Worth every penny!

Madison Waldman

I think our server’s name was Hannah, she was INCREDIBLE!!! She was extremely knowledgeable & attentive, but not overbearing. She also gave us a few bars around town that we would like!! The atmosphere is great, & I loved the quiet area we were seated at. I got the filet for dinner & it was the best steak I have ever had (and I worked at a steakhouse for 3 1/2 years!!), as well as a few drinks! The White Rabbit drink is great after dinner to end an amazing dining experience!!

Inglebert Dickens

We were fortunate enough to sit at the bar and were served by Rick. At least, I think that's his name because he gave me a fake one in case I left bad yelp review. The bartender was the hero I didn't know I needed! He made us laugh and contributed to the conversation enough to be friendly but not too much to be annoying. I would have left 5 stars for the service alone, but the food....ugh. Get the waffle fries, spicy snap peas, and Mac n cheese. Then end your meal with the white rabbit. You're welcome.

Turtle WC

Everything was amazing! Fiancé and I ordered drinks, an appetizer and two entrees and it was all excellent. The Chicken Dinner was probably one of the better meals I've had out in a while.

Victoria Chamberlain

Love this place. The food and cocktails are always exceptional. It can get a bit loud but the food is just so good.

Amber Waves Real Estate Group

First off I can tell you if someone posts lower than 4 stars here, they need to get a better dining partner, because something besides the food and service here is ruining it for them. This is an adorable unique spot underground and totally cool. Nice relaxing setting with peculiar art that is very enjoyable while you get toasted eating the marshmallows in the White Rabbit Cocktail. The menu here is innovative and complex in flavor. I hesitated in ordering a seafood pasta in a non costal area, but it was decadent and full of seafood. I could not even finish this dish. The salad choices are amazing and creative. The waitress was very attentive and offered nice wine recommendations, which BTW are $3 on happy hour and appetizers are half off as well. The only thing that fell short here was a carrot cake that tasted a bit of fridge odor. The chocolate bacon was the bomb. This is a great treat to discover while in Colorado Springs.

Lady Margaret

I would give it 3 1/2 stars cause this place nice, and it tries, it just misses the mark on the flavors. It's a nice, secluded, couples date kind of place. In the old Metro location. Try the White Rabbit cocktail for kicks. Presentation of meals was great, just that they could be a bit more liberal with the seasonings. I had the chicken and waffles and the waffle was flavorless and the chicken breast over cooked. I will give this place another try however because I love the concept, the space and that's just me.

Mindy Schultz

Food fabulous! Service even better! This is a very romantic setting if you want to go have a wonderful evening with your loved one! We love everything there from the apps to the dessert... and the cocktails!!!

Kristy MacGregor

Very cool idea for a restaurant. I love that it's underground, I almost missed the entrance (being an old sub-parking stairway). Very cool decor with an alice in wonderland relation. Service was okay, I didn't really feel tended to as I was expecting as a fine dining restaurant. We didn't make a reservation (we were just vacationing and popped in before a play) and were told there was a table available as long as we were done by 7pm. It was 530pm when we got there. Food was really good, though! The steak was melt in your mouth delicious and mashed potatoes too! I got carrot cake for dessert and I would recommend it, very flavorful and not dry at all. I'd give it another chance if I were in the area but wouldn't go out of my way to visit again.

Matt Bussing

Best restaurant I've ever eaten at. Very excellent fine dining.

Jenelle Palmer

Food was amazing! Cool atmosphere! Extremely fresh ingredients, and the drinks were delicious. I had the Lamb Shank with A Dutchess (tequila) and my husband had the Beef Filet, both cooked to perfection. We had the carrot cake for dessert, very big slice and very good.

Brad Hicks

I really wanted to like this place- I had heard great things and everyone seems to like it. I originally went in 2016 and had the worst luck. I waited for over 20 minutes after being seated to even have a waitress come by and got frustrated and left. I ended up in downtown Colorado Springs 3 years later in 2019 and thought I would try again. This time I was seated promptly and had my order taken almost immediately... Then I waited 26 minutes for my 2 very simple drink orders to arrive. During that time I watched my server fulfill over a dozen of other orders placed after mine. The server was very prompt with my check, at least. It's entirely possible I've just had the worst luck ever, but over a 3 year span I had an almost identical situation of bring completely ignored. I would strongly recommend that you just go to an above-ground bar. The windows and the service are guaranteed better.

Laura Brancewicz

Great late night meal! Highly recommend the chorizo stuffed bacon wrapped prawns.

Leah St. Charles

This is such a cool bar. I love their specialty drinks! I haven’t tried the food, but definitely need to. Amazing service and atmosphere.

M- N-

Just love Hannah! She was such an amazing and energetic bartender- super entertaining! She was really on point with drinks and food- best bartender in the Springs. As for the Rabbit Hole it’s a very nice environment, love the interior decor and crowd. Highly recommended for those looking for a classier setting. :)

Paul Franklin

Excellent quality meal. Mac and cheese with chicken was amazing! Cool place too. Hidden gem.

Juanita Snyder

We made reservations for The Rabbit Hole on a Saturday evening. The venue is definitely very unique. You enter through a glass entry at the sidewalk level and descend down a staircase under the sidewalk and building. We were a party of four and ordered: Seafood pasta, bison ribs, rabbit meatloaf and the filet. All items were VERY good. We also had the bunny bites and mushrooms as appetizers. The bunny bites were delicious.

Richard Shadbolt

Took my wife here for her birthday and it was a very amazing experience. The Alice in Wonderland theme surrounds you and the fact this restraunt is underground it really gives a cool feeling. The food and drinks are great. We got the meat sampler it was amazing

Mickole Lucas

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and our server Leah was so amazing. She took such good care of us. We felt so comfortable and the food was just amazing! We will for sure be back.

Shaeneice Stuart

Great food great drinks great atmosphere!!

Highly recommend the chefs butcher block to share!

jered Robeson

Amazing atmosphere. Great drinks. Amazing food. 10/10 recommend.

Natalia

The Ambiance and cocktails are amazing and the food is good. But I was expecting more for the Ambiance and price. Do not get the cheesecake for dessert. Cheesecake from Costco is way way better. The dessert was dry and had very little flavor. We drenched it in chocolate sauce and it was still bad.

It’s that kinda crazy cool place you should take your friends to. They will be impressed. Awesome cocktails

Very cool place to eat! Love that you enter through an old subway entrance too. The food is always good, but the menu changes often. It's also a little on the pricey side, but worth it in quality and portion sizes.

Amanda Krohe

Let me start with how cool the entrance is to this place...genius Idea to use the old subway in this manor.. love the atmosphere, staff was friendly, but the food was amazing. Lobster mac and cheese- fantastic. The burger- awesome. Will definitely return.

Anthony Turpin

Very smooth and quaint, the food was very delicious. And the bar staff were super friendly and helpful with the meal decision.

Amanda Tristan

All the food was delicious! Had duck wings for apps, the scallops and steak for entrees. Sunday night they have a great deal buy 2 entrees get a bottle of house wine for $8. The environment was really nice. Dark and romantic. I liked the Alice in Wonderland themed decor. Would def go back if I am ever in Colorado Springs again

Cinnamon Rose Hobbs

Excellent service. I have food sensitivities, and our waitress Hannah took amazing care of me!

Lyndsey Ritz

Delicious beginning to end! Great beer selection on tap (would highly recommend the Bristol Beehive). As for food... lamb shank was fall off the bone tender and the sweet potato waffle fries rank among the best I’ve ever had. My boyfriend had the chorizo stuffed prawns and he raved about it. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable of the menu, prompt and friendly. Overall, great dinner experience.

Jason Lihani

The best bar in Colorado. I'm a native to the area and spent my 20's with my friends in this bar. It's busier than it used to be but everything about his place is perfect. Best drinks, best staff, best food, best ambiance, best crowd. I live in Denver now and still tell people that it is worth the hour drive to The Rabbit Hole. Just make sure you call ahead these days.

Brionna Leigh Huertas

What a fun place! Living in SoCo I am always impressed by the city life of Colorado Springs, this place really brings in the fun! The purple drink is to die for!

Heidi Eickmeyer

Starting with the stair case leading down to the restaurant, the experience at the Rabbit hole restaurant was superb! The ambiance was enchanting and Mystical and was great entertainment for our three children. While the menu prices are a little more expensive than other restaurants, you definitely get what you pay for! The drinks were absolutely phenomenal as well as the hamburger, mac and cheese, and fries. so delicious! The server was excellent, making herself available at the perfect times and never coming to our table too much. The restaurant was clean and well kept as well. You will pay a little more if you come here but it's worth every penny so don't be late! Make your way down to the rabbit hole!

Rochelle Soto

Was taken her by some friends while visiting Colorado Springs, food was absolutely amazing, recommend the sharing plate. Cocktails good too. Nice interesting and pleasant setting. Will definitely be coming back on my next trip to the springs.

Bridget Nelson

Best late night food hands down. Amazing Martinis and food take makes your taste buds dance.

Fernando Peralta

I absolutely loved this hidden gem. The food was amazing. I do recommend making a Reservation because this place gets packed. The drinks are all made fun, you will not ne disappointed. Definently will be going back.

Electrik Watson

So cute! Most of the drinks were good. Customer service impeccable. Great place. Didn't try the food.

Shawn Hosp

Went for a birthday and had a wonderful time. The entrance definitely fits with going down the rabbit hole. Fun and inviting. Food is reasonably priced and lots of variety from the norm. Menu leans more towards unique game, meats and dishes. Everything we tried was excellent. They also had a chocolate bacon for desert which was enjoyed by our table. The servers were friendly and attentive. Excellent selection of wines. Highly recommend.

Sean _

Probably my favorite in Colorado Springs. Awesome food, awesome drinks, awesome atmosphere. Definitely a must if you're in the area. I mean check out the entrance alone... very cool.

Erika Travels

I love taking dates here! It's the perfect way to impress them. Drinks are on point. Try the rabbit appetizer. It's coated in a light almost panko style breading with an amazing horseradish mustard for dipping. You won't go wrong here for casual drinks or a fancy romantic date.

Katie Fiola Jones

Really unique restaurant! Underground. Super awesome food. We got the butcher block for two and it was so good. We got a couple of sides with it as well - since the whole dish is basically meat! Our waitress was very wonderful as well.

Mattie Owens

I visited The Rabbit Hole because of the great reviews, and I was not disappointed. The entrance is surprising and fun, and the restaurant is underground. I showed up around 6 pm on a Tuesday, and it was pretty busy, so I would recommend going early or making a reservation. The food was fantastic (I had the roasted brussels sprouts and the curried cauliflower bisque), the drink menu was varied and interesting, and the ambience was just fascinating. This will definitely be a go-to restaurant whenever I’m in town!

Sean Olsen

Amazing food cool Alice in wonderland theme and they make a mean Manhattan .

Ranell Cavitt

Love coming to the rabbit hole. Great food in a very unique setting. Atmosphere that's great for both small intimate dinners or a larger group!

Marijah Adams-Cleek

Atmosphere was awesome. Waitress was fantastic. For the price, I expected better food. Everything was well done and not that much flavor.

Daniel O'Callaghan

This place is literally underground in the middle of the city. The decor in hair super cool. And as a swanky little bar with very cool seating and just overall the feel of the place is awesome. The food was also very good. I got lobster mac and cheese and I was very happy with it. my friend got the butcher block with a little bit of everything and most things aren't very good I really like the short ribs.

Kevin Sterbakov

Loved the atmosphere, service and food. Got the cheese plate appetizer and the lamb shank main course, both were great. Friend who brought me there said it was pricey, but I ear in equivalent restaurants all over denver, where this same quality of meal.would have cost up to double what I paid here, so I personally thought it was very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is really what you come there for, it's a small place in the basement level of the building with a unique entrance and tons of art. Will definetally be back in the future.

Jane Cheange

Place is so awesome, so unique and fresh food and great drinks. Just a little expensive but I will be back.

Brian Lozano

From the time we arrived, the experience was amazing. As a party of 8, we were seated within minutes. Not only was the overall atmosphere a thousand times better than expected, the food was superb and served to us quickly after ordering. The family loved the history of the restaurant (and haunted ghost stories). I would definitely recommend the Rabbit Hole to anyone. Thank you guys for the awesome experience!!

Desiree Bohorques

Definitely a dope spot downtown. An underground gem. Food is rich and worth the $$$. Amazing date spot but also great for friends too.

Logan Bryson

Neat little restaurant. Extremely fancy and unique meals. Expect to spend at least $100 for two people with drinks. Definitely well worth it every time.

Megan Wilson

First, we were super lucky. Went in on a Saturday night, early for dinner but apparently they were booked with reservations until 9:45. Then someone canceled and we got a table!! Not only is the restaurant fun with cute Alice and Wonderland decor, but the food is so tasty as at a really good price point!! Very inexpensive for some high quality items.

Andrew Geissler

We really enjoyed our evening here. The place was hopping so be sure to get a reservation. The online tool showed nothing available but a phone call to check got us a table. There was an order issue that they quickly fixed. The Brussels sprouts and seafood pasta were delicious.

Eugene Kim

Kinda pricey, but worth it! Great atmosphere, great food!

Michael Rosende

Food was pretty good. Drinks good. Small portions, left hungry. Waitress, Laura, rushed us the entire time yet never checked on us until our plates were empty and at the edge of the table. Would recommend with a better server.

Ivanna Konozenko

Everything about this place is great, the atmosphere, the food, the drinks and service is top notch. Love it

Ryan Bassemier

Acceptable basement level restaurant and bar. The entrance reminds me of the subways in NYC. Went at 5:30 with no reservation on a Tuesday. We were asked to sit next to the door at the standup table. It was rather odd considering their were 8 open tables in the front and 4 more in the rear with just two of us. After deciding the table was awkward we moved to the bar (6 open seats) and appreciated the service from a friendly bartender. She helped us sort out what was best to eat. We had the scallops and Rabbit Meatloaf. The food was very acceptable. We didn’t find anything overly original but the service from the bartender was attentive and kind. My only feedback for improvement to management is to encourage your hostess to be friendly and welcoming to your customers. It’s very odd to sit someone in the waiting area of an empty restaraunt. That impression diminished any potential joy for us while at the rabbit hole.

Vladimir Barash

Under the stairs, out of the way, magically delicious. Lovely atmosphere, incredible flaming cocktail. I felt right at home!

Victoria Nelson

We went for the first time and it was fantastic! Great atmosphere, yummy food, and friendly service make for a awesome dinner! We will be coming back to enjoy again soon!

Lauren Beaty

Great cocktail selection. We can't wait to go back and try the food.

Roy Lozano

One of my favorite restaurants in town. Best service, best food. Its definitely in the best top 3 restaurants in Colorado Springs.

Logan Brodine

My wife and I had date night here. The food was really good but the cocktails were amazing! I would highly recommend this place. Make sure you get reservations though because it books up quick.

Charles Duncan

Hidden gem. Service and food were top notch. Menu is unique and tasty. Portions were great and cost was inline.

Samantha Alba

I was so excited to try this place out. For months it has been packed. Even now, our reservations were for like 5. It is a cute atmosphere walking down into the restaurant, but that is really where it ends for me. It's quite dark and feels a little like a fire hazard. I should say that my thee star rating is related to the cost of the food and drinks versus the quality of them. The service was great. The drink tasted good, but I always wonder why places serve mules not in the copper mugs. I feel like it is part of it and there is a glass for every other type of drink. I ordered the truffle cauliflower mac and cheese with lobster. The cauliflower was really unnecessary to the dish and why would you hastily chopped up lobster and then mix it in. I wasn't expected a ton of lobster but I counted like 4 oddly shaped pieces so I am not even sure I got one lobster tail which is probably why they mixed it in. I will also say that my husband had a completely different experience than me. He ordered the meatloaf and we were both shocked with how good it was.

Running Trauma

I'm gonna say this as simply as possible. If you're a carnivore and you have 1-2 other people with you then just get the Butchers block. Its 42 dollars of carnivore heaven. Fried chicken, rabbit, duck, pork, bison, elk, beef and bacon gravy. Accept no substitute. Feel your arteries harden and clog as you eat this delicious platter of food. Also the "hidden" location and decor are spot on incredible, as are the drinks. Just go. It's awesome.

Megan Usry

Very cool place to eat! Love that you enter through an old subway entrance too. The food is always good, but the menu changes often. It's also a little on the pricey side, but worth it in quality and portion sizes.

David DeJesus

Party of 4 on a Monday during dinner rush. We had excellent service, excellent drinks, and the the seafood pasta was delicious. We had such a great experince with my GF and her family that they can't wait to come back, complete opposite of our Red Gravy experience from the night before. Would highly recommend coming here instead of Red Gravy.

Amanda Krohe

Loved the atmosphere here. Entrence to restaurant is very unique, its a staircase in the middle of the sidewalk going under ground. This is not a fancy place but its also not a shirt and shorts place. Food was excellent and loved my white rabbit (see video). It starts sweet but liquor comes in strong at the end especially if you save the marshmallow for last.

Adam Smith

Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, and unique tasty cuisine.

Not a flaw on the table, from the pork taco appetizers to the jalapeno/bacon gravy on the fried chicken. So quaint and novel tucked beneath the streets of downtown Colorado Springs.

Tom Grady

I ordered the Butcher Block for two, it had Bacon wrapped duck meatloaf, deep-fried chicken with jalapeno country gravy, two chicken wings, bone in pork short ribs, buffalo ribs, three types of wild meat sausages and chips/crackers. Everything was amazing. The cocktails were delicious as well.

Alicia Gonzalez

Wow, what a cool place. I really enjoyed my old fashioned. I can't speak for the food, but it's an excellent place to hang out and have a few drinks. Since it's underground, I think it's sort of secluded by the town's hustle and bustle, but it's still pretty lively.

Chris Way

Food was so good. Environment was wonderfully delightful

Greg Allen

Food is fantastic. Definitely get an appetizer though, the dinner portions are a bit on the small side (for a Texas guy anyway). They make killer cocktails; both the old fashion and the white rabbit drink were great!!

Andrea Tallaksen

Atmosphere was great and food was even better! Took the long drive down so happy that I wasn't disappointed!

Kathryn Angelo

Kitchen open until 1:30am which was awesome. Food and service was great! Would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun atmosphere and great food!

zero harmada

All of the dishes were unique and tasty. We sampled a large variety and everything was at least good if not exceptional. The prices are worth it. I would suggest first timers order the butcher block to try a little bit of several items.

clark vera

Jam packed and LOUD like a sports bar. No parking. Food was flavor free. I had to keep chasing down the waitress. We were very disappointed. The wine was good. I had the bacon wrapped shrimp..was very LOW on salt with tons of greasy bacon. (can you believe the bacon needed salt?) The wife had seafood pasta Aglio e Olio -must have had 2 cups of olive oil - needed salt as well. Bread tasted burnt. We were expecting a great dinner since we had to reserve a week in advance. Oh well can't win em all. See that wife Mr. Chef? she is not happy with the food :(

Nichole Weaver

Really wonderful experience! Our server was Emily and she was awesome! We had the Duck Wings, Fried Mushrooms, Lamb Shank, and Seafood Pasta. My only complaint is there were still tail shells on my shrimp, but they were easily removed and it all tasted phenomenal!

Whitney Banta

Buffalo ribs, rabbit meatloaf & the signature white rabbit cocktail were amazing. 10/10. Cool location & ambiance. Must try.

Jami M. Cox

Our party of three tried 3 drinks, 2 appetizers, and 3 entrees. All were delicious! Best restaurant in Colorado Springs! Loved the decor and theme. Friendly service.

Jessica Heck

Service and cocktails were great. Cool little spot with a nice ambience. Food was seriously lacking. Pork belly tacos were heavy on the pickled vegetables with small bits of pork that got lost in the rest of it. The fried chicken was tough and had a weird texture. Meatloaf was okay. Could have used a bit more seasoning. We were a little disappointed as this place had great reviews.

Zachary DeCarlo

Absolutely amazing experience. We stumbled across this rabbit hole and were able to catch a seat to a staple in my trip to Colorado Springs. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect, and the art was awesome! These things combined made for a amazing memorable meal that I'm glad I got to experience at The Rabbit Hole! Make a reservation and enjoy.

First Last

They have a great selection of different types of dishes on their menu. I absolutely love their buffalo ribs! The presentation and taste is perfect every time. However their bloody mary was terrible. Do not order it. Not that it was too spicy or too bland, just terrible.

chris henry

Very cool atmosphere, well worth the effort to get in if a reservation is needed. Menu seems locally sourced and was tastefully executed.

Karianne Kunau

The best chicken and waffles (biscuits). Loved the atmosphere. If you can only try a couple restaurants in Colorado Springs this should definitely be one. Our server Rachel was super attentive and made sure my water was always full. Great experience overall.

David Hunt

Stumbled down to this place, literally it is downstairs. Great atmosphere. Superb staff. Drinks were very tasty (Old Fashion) and quick eventhough the place was packed and heaving with energy. Food was fantastic. Really enjoyed the braised buffalo ribs. They were well seasoned and cooked to a perfect tender finish. Highly recommend this place.

John Willis

Very unique eatery. I found a half dozen thing that I wanted to try not only for the newness factor but also because they sounded delicious. I ended up getting the rabbit meatloaf wrapped in bacon. Absolutely fantastic and at less than 20 bucks it felt like a deal.

Pat Whetsel

Very unique place. Suggest making reservations, but they were able to seat us quickly. We all enjoyed our food.

Melanie Hoshock

I've never eaten something there that I didn't like and it has a really cool ambiance! I always brings visitors from out of town here

Marcus Salas

Enjoyed the whole experience. Duck wings, cherry limeade, beef fillet, mac and cheese, and moon pie were all great. Definitely want to come back.

Lyle Smith

The cocktails are freaking awesome. Service was very fast and attentive. Nice chill vibe.

Heather Collins

We went in on a Sunday night without a reservation. We were sat immediately, and our waitress was super attentive, but didn't hover. I ordered the rabbit meat loaf without mashed potatoes, and got green beans instead, and my date ordered the Mac n cheese with tofu. We both enjoyed our meals. The ambiance of the restaurant is fun, with the art work and the way it is set up. And it's fun to come down the stairs from the street, by entering an old subway station entrance. We don't live in the Springs, and I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go here again, but when in town, it would definitely be fun to stop in again and try more of the menu items!

Drew Rodgers

Super cool spot for dinner and drinks. Enter through street level phone booth to dark dining area. Creative menu options.

Terri Terrifenno

Loved it. Ate at the bar. Great food and service. Make a reservation if you can or else you will be eating at the bar, but, that was great too.

Geoff Ashby

Great way to theme the restaurant with the underground location. We really enjoyed the menu and the drink menu as well. We shared the Chef's special Meat Platter/sampler and got a great taste of the great choices available. I highly recommend going for the cheesecake or the carrot cake for dessert! Thanks to the staff that provided a great environment and fun restaurant to visit

Tia Paul

Delicious food and drinks. Trendy themed atmosphere with a helpful waitstaff.

Gary McCullough

My husband and I stumbled upon this little hidden gem on our anniversary. The drinks were perfect and amazing. We had the duck wings, cherry braised bison short ribs, fillet, and cheesecake. Every bite was amazing, we can't recommend it enough. Service was even better than the food. Christa served us and was flawless.

Casey Hancock

Excellent... the space, atmosphere, drinks apps. Very delightful.....can be tricky at times. "Meaning time of day" hairy bunny pie

David Ferrell

Beef tenderloin, fantastic. Service during a very busy day, on time. very good job.

John McGraw Jr

This was our first time visiting The Rabbit Hole and it was really good. Nice quiet atmosphere and really great food.

Briggette Gallegos

Fabulous appetizers entrees drinks server. Wow. Fabulous experience. Well worth every penny spent. Atmosphere is amazing. We will be going back more often.

George Eftang

Great food and atmosphere. The filet was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The scallops were spicy and good. Loved the local artwork. Will definitely be back as there are many other menu items to try.

Laura B. Koz

Amazing find in hidden Colorado Springs. A must go to for appetizers and drinks. I purchased the Rabbit tail martini...very visual and delicious. Cozy, dim atmosphere. Highly recommended. Just a hop, hop, hop along to!

Vern Bybee

Fun place Only one suggestion My friend can't handle spicy hot and there were some very hot peppers in something we ordered It put a damper on his dining experience I had one of the peppers HOT! He was the only one who came accross them Other than that it was great

Misty Elliott

Merely what appears to be a subway station entrance from the sidewalk, but head on down and you won't be disappointed!Ambiance is a cool, casual (but can be dressy) vibe. We were in shorts and t shirts and there were a couple dates going on next to us with people a bit more dressed up but not awkward at all.

william buckley

Great drinks, the bartenders really know how to mix a tequila! The duck wings are delicious!! Such a fun atmosphere for an underground bar!

Kandra Asarias

I couldn't love a place more. The service is always great and the food and drinks to die for. I do highly recommend making a reservation as it's hit or miss on how busy they will be.

John James

The rabbit hole is on the verge of being too busy for a cocktail bar. The bartenders have an impossible job of being efficient and friendly as this bar grows in popularity. The ambiance carries a lot of the experience as it is so unique. The drinks and food are a treat and we really enjoyed our time here

Karl Morris

This place was absolutely delicious great staff great atmosphere and the Butcher Block was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life definitely recommend if you're in Colorado Springs or the surrounding areas

Tom Grady
