Food was good...nice atmosphere and friendly staff..the table lighting is a bit too low for us tall guys..appetizer came out with dinner which was not the normal and we ordered a quesadilla which was not cut into sections when there was 3 of us..the waiter gave the check before asking if we wanted dessert which was a loss because we were considering ordering..so we decided to go somewhere else for that..but I would return and I do recommend trying for yourself as the good outweighs the bad.

Extremely busy place.. we had to wait around for almost 30 minutes.. Clean place and very good for birthday dinners.. they actually make you wear a mexican hat and sing for you .. Food was delicious. Tried their chips queso salsa and enchiladas and tacos.. everything was mouth watering.. definitely must visit if you are in the vicinity..

Our service was completely horrible! The waiter that we had was very rude. One of my friends had ordered her food with the vegetables on the side. That came out wrong. She had also asked if there was any sauce on what she was ordering and they told her they would make sure that they took it off. She cut into her food and it was covered in sauce. She asked the waiter if the meat was marinated in the sauce and as she was in the middle of her sentence he just walked off. I had ordered the Carne Asada and it was completely burnt. I tried to grin and bear it but it was literally like eating a beef jerky. But way worse! I tried to talk to someone about my steak and was not successful. I finally went up to the front and asked for a manager. Another gentleman had came over and asked me what was wrong since the manager was delivering food and I had told him about my steak. He came over to our table grab my plate and then walked off. I still was not able to talk to anyone at that point so went back up to the front. I asked for the manager again and told him my issue. I had let him know that somebody else had came and grabbed my plate. He then grabbed my ticket and took my Carne Asada off of my ticket and left my side of sour cream and cheese that I had ordered. Keep in mind I was not able to even use my sides being that I could not even eat my steak. So I paid my $5.07 for my side of sour cream and cheese and left. Also Our waiter did not fill our drinks once. He would not bring us out any more chips to go with our salsa. One of my friends had asked for salsa multiple times and he never brought it. I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy. This has been the most horrible experience I have ever experienced with service and with food. This overpriced restaurant is not worth your time.

Boiled pork in the burrito. Wait was okay. Mole was too sweet, tastes reheated. Refried beans are too runny and the rice tasted like rice for stir fry. The tortillas on the burrito was good but the rest was very unsatisfactory. Drinks were very good however.

Has to be some of the best mole in Colorado! The plate is a good 12 inches across. They serve a cabbage salsa with your chips along with regular salsa. Prices are reasonable and the patio dining is nice.

Very close to authentic Mexican food. Huge portions, one entree can feed two persons. The service was very attentive. The menu has a massive amount of options. Make sure you are really hungry when you decide to come and eat at Tequilas.

Excellent place. We showed up on a busy Wednesday night, that started to rain which made most of the outdoor seating unusable. The staff did a great job accommodating the crowd. Food was delivered hot and fast. Tasted pretty good as well. Would definitely recommend this place if you're in the neighborhood.

Great atmosphere and prompt service. Chicken Mole' was chocolaty. I do know some people enjoy it like that, I prefer more of a red sauce with a tad of the unsweetened chocolate.

I don’t know what happened cause this used to be the only location I liked...but I was very disappointed tonight. Chips with the salsa were stale. And Food took over 40min to come out ... it was cold. Nothing special about the flavors, very basic and plain same with my husbands dish. I was over charged for my order from what it said on the menu. 40$ I would have rather saved on a dinner for 2. Service was great... but I’m sad, I used to love it here. Every location of tequilas franchise we have tried in the last few months has lost their quality of food.

Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had in my life. The chicken was so tender and well-prepared, the rice was zesty, the guacamole wasn't too salty, the salsa and coleslaw that were brought out before the meal were fresh and flavorful with a good bit of spice... I could go on and on. Not to mention the superb mixing on the cocktails, both the margaritas and the piña coladas were fantastic. The service was great, the food came out fast, and the atmosphere was on point. The chandeliers are ceramic agave plants! If I could give Tequila's any more stars, I would in a heartbeat.

This place is quite busy, not that bad of a wait. The cheese dip tastes like Cheez whiz, but the chips and salsa are good (moderately spicy). I ordered a cheese enchilada but ended up getting a cheese quesadilla. Even though our waiter repeated my order back to me and it was correct, he said he heard me say quesadilla. The enchilada and burrito sauce (red) tasted like mild sauce from Taco Bell. The beans were pretty okay, and the rice is over cooked and crunchy. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends or family.

Hair! Yes, there was black hair in my salad!! Gross. I was 1/2 way through. Their salsa tasted like it was from the Dollar Store mixed with spice. yuck. The meat in my salad was like Alpo dog food. I went to the bathroom 4 times today. Pepto helped somewhat. The sever comped my meal. joy. Would never recommend. The hostess is super nice and welcoming. That's all the good I can say.

The food here is flavorless and 100% not authentic (and not even close). The reviews from people saying that the food is authentic have no idea what they are talking about. If you like dulled down Mexican food this is the place for you. The best part about this place is that it wont break the bank and the portion sizes are large.

Was just in there to eat and had a terrible experience. My family came to town to celebrate my birthday. I ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri, as I am in recovery with over 5 years clean. I tasted it and it tasted like alcohol. I asked our waiter for one without alcohol and he told me there want any in the one he brought. I had my sister taste it and she tasted alcohol too. I could have made a way bigger deal about this but chose not to. Then i had to ask him twice to bring the virgin one. He messed up a bunch of the food order and we had to ask him three times for the check. Terrible experience. Food was average. Do not recommend.

Ordered tacos and received two leaves of lettuce with chicken in the middle roughly 25 minutes later. A tiny bit of garnish joined the lonely duo. When we asked what happened to the corn shells, be dissapeared and brought back corn tortillas. Wish it was better.

Was seated with my service dog and was then told i wasn't allowed to have her and there was a no dog policy then was forced to show her records of being a service animal, which i agreed to do. i was basically told if i didn't show them her papers i had to leave. Very hurt and feel disrespected. also waited 30 minutes for a check and didn't get refills on drinks or chips. horrible service.

The only choice I know of for a Mexican Restaurant in Mt. Vernon, IN. It is average. Average food and average service compared to most other Mexican restaurants me and my family dine at in other cities. Don't want to rate it too badly since there is already not many dining options in Mt. Vernon, and Mt. Vernon doesn't need yet another empty storefront. Mt. Vernon, IN is a city that has been on a continuous decline for years and years now. Downtown buildings are mostly vacant with broken windows, trashed out, with most of them crumbling. Don't believe me? Check out downtown Mt. Vernon, IN for yourself if you have time to waste. Tequilas sits in a shopping strip on the East side of downtown Mt. Vernon. A vacant former "Kmart" building across from it. In short, you have two choices? Eat a Tequilas if you want average Mexican food and don't want to drive to Evansville, IN. Or make the drive and you will find better in Evansville, IN.

Went here with my daughter and grandkids Monday, September 9. Asked to be seated outside. We're served water, chips and salsa fairly quickly, however, about 15 minutes went by without anyone taking our orders. A waitress finally showed up to offer more chips, salsa and water. We asked for a server., waited another 10 minutes, no waitress. We left and went to Fiesta Guadalajara, where we received prompt, friendly service. Will not go back, since we were apparently not important enough for service.

When you walk in you are greeted with most warm beautiful smiles. The restaurant is well staffed and everyone is very friendly. Hubby ordered michelada which was superb. The place is very clean and well decorated. Tasteful. Margaritas are well served. Two had me dancing on tables..j/k.. Ordered tortilla soup and fish and shrimp fajitas cooked to perfection. The best Mexican restaurant in existence. Every Mexican restaurant I have ever been to doesn't compare to Tequilas. I've been eating here since I was a little girl and have yet to find a place as good as this. Mexican is my absolute favorite food and it's all because of this restaurant. I have now moved to Evansville and wish they would open one here. I definitely don't mind the drive to get Tequilas but would love one in Evansville. Anyways, the tacos will rock your socks off. The queso is pretty much perfect with their warm freshly served chips. The alcoholic beverages are fantastic as well! I have yet to find anything I don't like about this restaurant. Great staff, very friendly! I definitely recommend a visit if you haven't been. Everyone that I've taken here has loved this restaurant.

Came here on a trip to Colorado for work. The food was subpar...but our waiter was beyond racist. He acted like it was a problem waiting on us. A couple of a difference race came and sat across from us and he turned into an ENTIRELY different person! Happy as ever! It was just blunt disrespect the entire time we were there. Also there are flies flying everywhere! We had to cover our food with napkins just to eat. Love Colorado but will NEVER visit again!!!

This restaurant had been in mount Vernon for many years. The food is great and the prices are pretty reasonable. They also have a pretty good deal on mugs of beer, If your a beer drinker and like a beer with your food. Typically they have really good service depending on the waiter/waitress. They also have carry out, so you can call ahead of time and pick up your food If you want.

First of all let me start by saying I am not just picking on this restaurant for other reasons and that I eat out quite frequently and have enjoyed meals basically around the globe, so this is just not a bad experience it is my worst. The website stated the closed at a certain hour on weekends and so we went 3 hours prior to their closing time. We walked in and say quite a number of other patrons enjoying their meals etc. A few were sitting in the lobby area and had drinks in hand. So we thought , great it has to be good....wrong! So while my guests that I brought from Denver went to the restroom, I walked to the hostess. I asked for a table for 4 and did see several open tables. She had come from the bar area and seemed quite annoyed that I asked for a table. She then immediately said they were closed. I mentioned the times stated on both website and door and she then pointed me out and locked the door after I stepped out. My guests were still inside and were so quite surprised. I have never been treated in such a humiliating way, ever in any venue. She actually laughed at us as she was locking the door when she told my guests I was outside. I will surely do my best to stop anyone I know from visiting this establishment. I am only one person ,but I'm am sure the wrong person to have had this happen to. You just never know who you meet in life and how you treat people is quite paramount. Good luck to you!

Food was okay, but nothing to get excited about. There are a lot of options for Mexican food in my area, and this is not the best one I have to choose from. I really like authentic Mexican food, but this is more like American Mexican food.

This place was incredible. Finding solid vegetarian options at a Mexican place is always a challenge. Not here - the vegetarian burrito was amazing. The wait staff was very nice and responsive. Take this review with a grain of salt (pun definitely intended) because the margarita knocked me on my arse.
