We eat here every once in a while and we're always happy with our meals and service. We get our food quickly and everything tastes amazing. They also have the best tequila selection around! They have a huge menu, all of it excellent. The service is awesome and the food the best! A must go to. Great food and service. Really fun. Authentic live music. Mariachi band every Wednesday evening. Really enjoyed the evening.

I come here for dinner regularly with friends. The food is great and authentic! I love the enchiladas, and the staff have always made great recommendations, even suggesting substations so that I have more vegetarian options! Their margaritas are large, strong and delicious!

This was our first trip to Tequilas & we will 100% be back! Since moving from TN I have struggled to find good Mexican food with great service.... it’s here! The house margarita was great... didn’t taste like a premade mix with cheap tequila. The queso dip was so much better than any other Mexican place I’ve had here. I had enchiladas Tequila & my husband got the combo with chimichanga (chicken)/ chalupa (shredded beef) & it was just amazing! Our server recommended both meals for us. The only reason I gave 4 stars is bc the only beer they have on draft is Stella (so random for a Mexican restaurant). Go here!!! You don’t want to miss it.

I used to love this place. Management changed and their staff changed with it. The last two times we visited, the service has been the worst! The waitress argued with me about what I ordered, she even started to walk away before we even finished ordering. No wonder she got my order wrong. Sadly, not ever going back.

Any Mexican place that uses store bought tortillas is goiig to lose 2 stars. What's the point of making Mexican food if you can't commit to the tortillas? The food was ok, as was the service was ok. But Mission Tortillas, or whatever brand they use, cheapens the value and experience and essentially bleaches the meal.

I really want to try this place again but wow my first experience was terrible. My wife and i went in and sat down on a Monday for dinner. The waiter sat us down asked for drinks and then left. about 8 minutes later he came back dropped off our water and that was the last we saw of him. We were not given menus and after trying to flag down someone for a menu we left. We were there a total of 20 minutes pretty much without service. I see all of these excellent reviews and will try again. I really hope when we come back that we actually get served.

This is my new favorite Mexican place in the northern suburbs. The grilled items like fajitas, and carne asada are fantastic. Their salsa, chips, and guacamole are also great too. Their lunch menu is a pretty good bargain as well. Great restaurant yummy very nice staff we will go back to dinner there. The restaurant was beautiful and easy to get to and parking was easy. The atmosphere is great! Our waiter was very polite. The food is some of the best I have had and not to spicey. Also they have a very large menu so alot to choose from.

I love coming to Tequila's. I live in Vail, but have family in the area, and always look forward to dinner if I know we are coming here. Prices seem reasonable. As a Denver native I can't really speak to how authentic it is, but it seems authentic to me and tastes absolutely amazing. There menu is huge and I try to order something different every time, and I have yet to find a dish I didn't like.

The host got upset when we asked to sit outside and when he took us to our table he threw the menus on the table. We've been here a couple of times and the food was really good. But today the food was not, the meat was raw and when they cooked a little longer the steak was hard and tasted like fish. There was a hair in the cabbage salsa and when we told the waiter he insinuated it was not the staffs, but ours. It felt like we were a bother to the staff and didn't feel like we were welcomed. No refills were offered. We will not go here any longer. Don't want me and my family to feel like we are a bother for asking for some customer service.

This is a great place to enjoy good quality Mexican food and not destroy your budget. There is a great selection of good food in a clean friendly environment. You won't have to wait very long at all so if you're in a hurry you shouldn't be to disappointed.

Great food, TERRIBLE SERVICE! We've been to this one several times and only had good service once. We return because we like the food, but after the last time, I really don't feel the need to go back. We ordered sopapillas, which we get every single time, and they arrived with strawberry syrup slopped all over them instead of the traditional honey. It was gross, and the waitress acted like she didn't see the problem. When we asked about the honey, she seemed confused and then brought us a bottle of honey as though that would make them better. She ended up bringing us another order of sopapillas with the honey, but charged us for both. Not impressed.

I have been a couple times now and both experiences were excellent! Neither time was too busy, but service was good and food came out super fast and hot. The fajitas were on point, flavorful and delicious. Guac, beans, and rice are all well-made and anything but boring. Had a the Golden Burrito /w carnitas and it was equally as tasty, with perfect carnitas inside and a tasty green sauce smothering the outside. Prices reflect the portions, they are quite generous!

This is a usual spot for my family and for good reason. The atmosphere is very good, it’s just an enjoyable place to eat. The food has always been to all of our liking. Personal favorite is the carne asada plate. But no matter if it’s steak, chicken, or seafood it has all been tasty. Service is always on point and very quick. No long waits here.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews but I don’t understand how this place has 4.2 stars.... The rice was extremely dry and bland. The beans weren’t refried. It was a serving of whole beans that were super wet and soggy. I ordered the veggie fajitas expecting a sizzling plate of peppers and onions... what I got was a serving of mushrooms and tomatoes with barely any peppers. GROSS! It was literally an entire package of whole mushrooms

Staff is friendly and attentive. No WiFi and my food was not the greatest. I ordered a veggie burrito but I couldn't even grab it because it would collapse on itself. The tortilla would break because it was soaked, it wasn't not very full in the inside and about 70% of it was onion ! The sides, rice and beans, were good.

Don't order the tamales... Each one is the size of a burrito and covered in enchilada sauce instead of green chili. I only ate the rice and beans. They still charged me $15.

The service is usually decent unless they are super busy. Then expect the type of service you get when a restaurant is super busy. The food is pretty normal American Mexican food. They have a lot of choices which is nice and as long as you don't go during a major sporting the atmosphere is conducive to a nice conversation.

There are 3 Tequila's Mexican restaurants in the Denver area. All are equally good. The staff is always friendly; they have an extensive menu and their lunch deals are killer. Great food, plenty of it and very reasonable prices. The salsa and chips are just right - not too hot but with a little kick. Always a great place, especially for lunch.

Ten of us went there for my father's 97th birthday. The staff was made aware of the birthday at least twice. We were served our water and waited an hour before we had to ask for our food and drink orders orders to be taken. The food was delicious, but some food was not delivered as ordered. Some drinks that we had ordered with our food were not brought out until we had to ask for them. Then we had to remind the staff that we were celebrating a birthday. The staff had forgotten, but before we left, they did their celebration with the large sombrero for my dad that we were hoping for.

Got there pretty early on a Sunday and the only reason I'm giving a 4 star is because there was ONE girl who very nice to us and she wasn't our server. She was the tallest one, not sure of her name. We were greeted but with eye rolls. We were not in a hurry or complaining about waiting so I'm not sure why we were getting such attitudes. The food was soooooooo good and the plates are HUGE. So if you want to eat dinner and have some leftovers for later, this is the place.

The food was OK but our server didn’t listen to us at all. He asked if we wanted small, medium, or large margaritas. We both asked for medium and he brought out and charged us for jumbo size. My gf ordered a fajita plate that said it had mushrooms and NO cheese sauce but when they came out it was covered in cheese sauce and missing mushrooms. The manager told us there was a mistake on the menu. Ok...well some people are dairy free and that makes a huge difference if they order the plate or not. She did replace with no cheese sauce but no mushrooms once again. our server didn’t check on us to see if we needed anything else. So she didn’t have corn tortillas for her fajitas or salsa. I felt like things were over priced or missing prices on the menu all together (margaritas had no prices on the menu.) We won’t be back. I’d suggest finding a better Mexican restaurant. 3 margaritas never fails us.

I left my credit card at this place and called to make sure it was there. The manager told me it was there and they could mail it to me. Since I live an hour away I agreed and thanked him. 3 to 4 days went by and I had not received my card so I called and inquired about it. The female manager checked and said the male manager forgot to mail and would do it that day. 4 days went by so again I called to check on my card and talked to the male manager who said he had a busy week and mailed the card yesterday, I said just let me know if you didn’t mail and I will drive down and get it no big deal. The manager assured me he mailed it so I let it go. Another 4 days went by so I called again and was assured it was mailed. So 2 weeks and 3 days after I left the card I received in to the mail and it was cracked. I was just happy to have my card back because I was leaving for vacation to Alaska 2 days after I received it. Guess what, when I was in Alaska my card was put on hold because of suspicious activity. My card was used at King Soopers in Thornton for $179.07and $40.59 for gas at Circle K in Thornton. I could not use my card during my vacation because I didn’t want whoever to charge more on my card. This place is very shady and I wonder how many other customers this has happened to? Quite a coincidence that I’m out of state and fraudulent charges are made in Thornton where I left my card at this restaurant that they kept forgetting to send. Very sad.

The service was excellent, our bartender seemed to know almost everything about the 30 foot wall of tequilas. HA!! The only reason I might not be returning is I am more into the Southwestern style of Mexican food. The green chili has to have a real kick to it and have more lettuce and tomato, but to their credit, what they served us was tasty and visually appealing.

Tequila's Family Mexican Restaurant is one of our favorite dining destinations. There are multiple menu options that make this place such a great place. The owner of the restuarant, Alberto, is not only a great business owner, but an outstanding member of the community. Year after year he donates to various community events within Adams County. I am thankful there are business owners like him in my community.

We been here more than 5 times, this time we went at 4:50 p.m which is 10 minutes before happy hour ends and our server said they don’t have a happy hour, we didn’t wanted to make a big deal about it and my wife ordered their seafood soup ($22), we tried this soup at almost every mexican restaurant in the area but never had one like this one, it is sweet and we asked for a manager, told him about how we feel about the soup and my wife was saying it tastes like tomato soup then the manager starts defending there’s no tomato in the soup, finally he checked with his kitchen people and said yes their is ketchup in it. 1. Manager have no idea of recipe of their food 2. He offered to take it back but never checked on us if we want anything else( worst service) 3. Finally we ordered their fried ice cream like how we get every time but this time it was just one flavor with a lot!!!!! Of chocolate syrup on it. 4. Jumbo margarita is $16 which is ridiculously expensive!!!! 5. Finally never going back here after all what happened at this place, no wonder why you guys are going down the hill in the area.

I usually really enjoy Tequila's. It has been my favorite place for good food. Lately the food seems to have changed, unfortunately not for the better. The guacamole used to taste freshly made, but the last two times it has come out frozen and tastes like the pre made guacamole paste. Tonight I had the cheese enchilada and though the plate was very hot the cheese inside was not melted still in a shredded form right out of the bag. The margaritas are the still amazing and it is a great place for drinks and chips and salsa. It is a cool family restart I hope the management can bring back the authentic family food they had in the past.

Food was ok, kind of bland and generic. Service was off. Server brought our meals but didn't bring tortillas or plates for the fajitas. We sat and just looked at our food for a good 3-4 minutes while she delivered drinks to the table next to us before bringing out the tortillas. Kind of odd.

This place was horrible! We wanted a to go order of Mexican pizza and 8 enchiladas. The pizza was real soggy and they gave us 4 enchiladas platters instead of 8 enchiladas. So double the price!! The Green Chile had no flavor. Save yourself the time and money and don’t go there.

Server was so nice. The prices were outrageous. $35 for two burritos and two drinks. Food was comparable to a high end taco bell. Never waste my money there again.

My dad and I like to try out different restaurants around town, and we decided on Tequila's since we don't usually eat Mexican food. I'm a bit of a picky eater, but I found there was a lot of good options and a plenty of variety! I didn't feel confined to just one or two options. The food tasted great and the portions were plentiful. Everything tasted great. The decor was very classic and the place seemed, in general, very welcoming. I'd have normally given this just a 4 star rating, but the service made it a 5 star rating. She was attentive and kind, and she also gave us a dessert on the house. We will definitely be coming to this place again!

We have eaten at Tequila's Family Mexican restaurant in Thornton (Washington & 120th) three times and really enjoyed it each time. The food is great, the service is prompt and attentive and the prices are very fair. The margaritas are great too! We usually sit at the bar. The bartenders are always friendly, helpful. Great place to enjoy some pretty good mexican food and a couple of tequelas..

We stopped at Tequilas for a graduation lunch after coming back from Boulder. It was mid-afternoon and there weren't many people in the restaurant. *NO RESERVATIONS ON WEEKENDS* this includes Friday afternoon. They sat us on the patio which was great with little ones. The staff was really on top of our needs the entire time. Ruben was understanding and patient with our group of 20 people who needed multiple checks. The food was tasty but a little pricey for lunch. We did get our fill of the unlimited chips and salsa. All in all we left with full tummies and happy hearts.

Too many Mexican places around, don’t waste your time with this one. I was not impressed. The Pina Colada was weak, and my combo plate with enchiladas and sopita was underwhelming. I would describe myself as a “gringo,” I don’t usually do salsa hotter than medium...but this place was not good. I had to get more enchilada sauce because they were so mild. Nobody at the table finished their dinner, and I ended up in the bathroom for a couple hours afterward too.

I discovered this place last week, and I've eaten there twice since then. Excellent food, big - huge - portions. It is tucked behind a fast food place, but classy inside and worth it to find. The staff are courteous so leave them a big tip. Alcohol is served here, so try a sour apple margarita!
