There are few places that one can go to experience authentic tacos but fear not taqueria no se is one. One of the quickest ways to figure out the quality of the food served is to go during lunch. If the seats are filled and the customers are standing without a care on their face, you know the place is worth the wait. Originally told by one of locals to get there early i arrived at noon. Although having to wait a few minutes for my meal i wasnt disappointed by the quality of the food served. To anyone that loves authentic mexican food i would highly recommend this gem.

The food is not bad, but I definitely had better Mexican food at similar price elsewhere outside of Avon. The staffs were friendly, but the restroom was out of both handsoap and paper towels. It took the staff 40 min to refill them after they were notified--right before we left the restaurant.

This is legit Mexican food! Best I’ve had in years. I loved the carne asada burrito I ordered- not only was they meat amazing and the tortilla made in-house, it was more than enough to fill me. Also, great decor, despite being only big enough to seat about 25 people. Luckily you can get it to go.

Seemed to be very popular with the locals. When I went in they where busy with the lunch rush. I got a chicken quesadilla, was fabulous. They crammed a lot of very well marinated chicken into my quesadilla. Loved the spread of jalapenos, guacamole, and Pico de gallo to go along with it. Service was friendly and very helpful. Also loved the salsa bar at the counter. A lot of tasty salsas for your food. Good prices for the valley. Can't wait to visit again.

This is a place I hate to rate because the more people know about it the longer I'll have to wait in line. :) Outside of mud season, especially on weekends, get there by 11 to order your lunch or the al pastor will be sold out. Rivals Anna's Taqueria in Boston for best al pastor. Green salsa are spicy and delicious.

Husband and I seemed to be striking out on restaurants so far but decided to try this place based off of reviews. We did not leave disappointed!!! Asada tacos and quesadilla was delicious! I was working in Vail for a week. So I searched and found this taqueria. Being from Dallas, Texas, and from Mexican/American DNA. I know true Mexican cuisine, not Tex-Mex but real Mexican cuisine. I was very impressed with the quality of meat and flavors of the Barbacoa and Al Pastor tacos here! They were delectable! However, I'm giving 4 out of five stars because they don't make/sell Mexican rice and beans here. Maybe that's a Colorado thing but in Texas and Mexico; we eat rice and beans. Overall, I really enjoyed the tacos and Horchata drink! I will return!

I'm from south Texas (Border town), and was very impressed with the tacos. The tortillas were great and not the fake looking things that are served normally up the north. The place is small and busy. However, the food made up for it. We had the asada and al pastor tacos. I'd definitely recommend this place!

They are all prepared for you when you order them and all - beef, chicken or pork - are all outstanding. When you order, get a good variety of options to try. They are not expensive and it will give you a good taste of everything this place has to offer.

I live in Texas and have been spoiled by the caliber and authenticity of taco I can get here... This little spot is right up there. Delicious tacos, great salsa, and reasonable prices. I knew the place would be good when I went and there was standing room only. Every table was packed and there were people waiting outside too. Only regret was that I only went there once during my trip! Will definitely be back on my next visit to Avon.

We went here because of the great Google reviews. I am going to give it a 4 because the venue itself isn't very nice. In fact it is very spartan. They could at least do something with the stark fluorescent lighting. We decided to do take-out instead of eating there. The food was really quite good and I would definitely go back. I suspect this is a hot locals restaurant. The food is good and the prices are reasonable.
