Three different tacos all amazing. Carnitas melted in my mouth with an awe-inspiring flavor. Came in the middle of a rush (noon) so service was slammed only reason for the four stars. Chips are real fried tortillas. SALSA BAR, order chips, worth it for finding your favorite.

Meat was overcooked, lettuce was wilty and soggy, and things seemed barely hot. Was really disappointed because when we came here in the past, everything was awesome. Asked for chips and never got any, when we were one of only three tables in the whole place, and then they tried to charge us for them. Worst $40 meal I have ever paid for.Won't be returning ever.

Sat down for 15 minutes and didn't get served. Showed up before 8 and the waitress was very rude to us, and hesitated even serving us. A family came in after us and she neglected them as well, but chose to go over to their table first and didn't even acknowledge us at all. We all work in food service and understand understaffing and busy service. But customer service was p o o r.

We LOVE this place.. Real tasty, inexpensive food. Under $10 for a 3 taco, rice, beans & drink meal..they charge for refills though. You get plastic cutlery, but it's always hot & fresh. Plus...you get free spicy pickled veggies as a garnish..delicious. The waitresses are always incredibly friendly.

Good food at reasonable, if not lower than average, prices. It is a sit down with a menu place, not a counter order, and the service was a little slower than expected. The salsa bar has a nice selection of options. The overall food quality was excellent. The kiddo was able to get chicken nuggets and fried. Desert options include pretty decent sopapillas and churros with ice cream.

This was a trip based on Trip Advisor, and what awesome advice we received! This restaurant has delicious, fresh tacos of all different types. Then, you get to choose your salsa that is based on your preference from their expansive clean salsa bar. My mom loved the fresh caldo de res. She said it was like my grandma used to make. FRESH corn tortillas were also magnifico! What a treat to have fresh, warm tortillas. Super service as well.

Excellent food and "melon-water". Even though the Kid's Menu is short, my kids loved simple tacos from regular menu. Try the tripas meat for your tacos, its amazing. And the chilaquiles without meat are an amazing veggie option. Great place.

Authentic food that is what you'd probably expect. I had chilli rellenos and they were crispy and smothered with a nice green chili.(A but mild on the spice side.)Nice flour tortillas on the side, standard beans and rice. The horchata was pretty good. As for the atmosphere, it isn't bad per say, but nothing special. Service was okay, as the waitresses seemed to have some important conversations to attend to. For the price point is worth it.

If you haven't been to Taqueria Los Comales, you are missing out. Hands down one of the best places for authentic Mexican food in Fort Collins. The smothered burritos, especially the al pastor, are ridiculous! Filling and delicious. The only reason it's not a five star rating is because it can get a little busy, and it's a bit of a trick to get in and out over the lunch hour. But really, go there and be delighted.

Also, used to have a $2 breakfast burrito deal on the weekends that was great but they ceased doing so. If they brought that back I'd have a higher favor of them again. There are better places to eat in FoCo with better deals.

Really nice experience that reminded me of Houston. The smothered chorizo burrito was excellent and very large. The chorizo had the right amount of spice. I also tried it with dabs of salsa from their salsa bar. On chips or burrito, the salsas were tasty and varied. Service was fast and not pushy. Overall, very much enjoyed it.

We couldn't eat comfortably because although the place doesnt close until 10 on Saturday night, they took our plate before I got to finish what was on it. WTH! WORST SERVICE IN TOWN! Every time I've been in here I've not only had a long wait time for service, but they servers like to sit down and eat instead of SERVING. Today was no exception. Restaurant full inside and even patrons outside. I never got a drink, not even water, even after my food was brought out. I waved at the waitresses twice with them looking right at me, and outright ignoring me to continue talking and eating their food. The condiment bar was half empty and messy, there wasn't any cantaloupe drink, the waitress didn't even ask me if I needed anything else after bringing my food. Just set it down and walked off. Sadly the street tacos are probably the best in town, but don't expect any type of service. For the price of their tacos, I will settle for better service elsewhere, even is the food isn't as good as here. I usually tip about 30% when I have great service, so they missed the mark with me. I won't be back, nor will I recommend them again.

I have been going here for nearly two months now since I discovered them. Staff is always friendly and quick. Tacos and burritos are delicious but their Tortas are really what set them apart. Hands down, best Asada Tortas I have ever had (I have had tortas all over the place, Chicago, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, New Mexico, Cozumel, Los Cabos, SoCal, bay area, just about every food truck in Ft Collins, etc.). There is an extensive salsa bar and salsas always taste fresh. Kitchen uses fresh ingredients. Really hard to beat this place for authentic mexican cuisine. Could not ask for more from a local taqueria. You guys rock!

6 adults, all different plates. Food came partially warm. Waitresses to busy yapping and on cell phones. Tacos 1.89. Aquacate .25, cheese .25, sour cream .25 onions 2.19 about 5 bulbs so add one to ever taco. Guess what, the tortilla is super tiny so. In a taco you have 1 tablespoon of meat, and that's your 3.99 taco.. so u are 3 still hungry, no chips and salsa ohh and refills, nope, even though its fountain drinks. So now I remember why I hadn't gone there in about 8yrs. Nothing was nice about the experience except the family I was with. Overpriced and cold food, no thanks.

Maybe it was just an issue with Postmates but our entire order was wrong. Over $100 of food. Everything you can imagine from number of items to toppings to sides. At least we got the Horchata. That was decent. The food we did get was over cooked to our specifications and grisly. The cilantro was brown. The limes weren’t ripe. I could seriously keep going all night. Had to go elsewhere for dinner. Was not happy. Will never recommend or go to this place again.

This is the ideal restaurant for the quintessential "quick bite" but don't go here if you're looking for atmosphere. The wait staff was very brief. They didn't make much small talk, in fact one waitress barely spoke at all, even at the register when paying. And the restaurant had a very "casual" feel to it. There was an empty table with what appeared to be the employees' personal items on it, the kitchen staff's music could clearly be heard competing with the ambient music, and the waitresses spent most of their time by the kitchen, and very little time interacting with customers. If you don't know Spanish well, it's dubious whether or not you should even consider coming here. The menu is almost completely in Spanish, the TVs are on Spanish channels, and the staff all appeared to be native Spanish speakers. We managed fine, but definitely had to look up some of the less common words. That being said, I'm sure if we had asked they would have helped translate, but at the same time our brief interactions didn't exactly make me feel confident in doing so. The food was pretty good, definitely the highlight of the trip, but I'm not sure it was good enough for a return visit. The wait time for our table was very short, could have been as few as ten minutes, and the whole visit from sitting to leaving could have been maybe half an hour. We probably won't be returning again. The food was decent, but the experience was lackluster. If you're looking for a relaxed, authentic experience then this restaurant is potentially a perfect match, unfortunately it's not what we were searching for.

Went in for takeout. Got the $15 plate that looked amazing on the menu, but when we opened it up it looked 3/4 eaten already and wasn't all that fresh. The picture posted below shows the food untouched by us.. that was $15. This is an honest review so I will say that the hostess was friendly and the fajitas that I saw go to a table looked fire, but what we got wasn't worth a single star and wouldn't go back.
