We offer you the reviews of people like you who bought the services of Summit (Restaurant) in Colorado.
Right now the firm gets a score of 4.3 stars out of 5 and that rating has been based on 121 reviews.
As you can read, it has an average rating is very positive, and it is based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can say that the rating is very credible. If there are many people who bothered to leave their feddback when they've done well with the service, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to put tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant is classified in the category of Bistro.
My girlfriend and I had dinner at Summit and tried their fixed menu and some drinks (although we did not try the wine pairing). The food was great and everything we had was very interesting! The mixed drinks are also fantastic. The service was excellent. I would say dress up a bit if you go. I was wearing a suit and did not feel over dressed, but plenty of people were there in slacks and a button-up shirt.
Octupus, chorizo and fingerling potatoes was fabulous
I can see why this is a five-star restaurant. Everything you ordered was perfect. Service was lovely. I would definitely return here and try some other things on the menu.
Suburb. Food, service & ambiance are all five star.
Food and service here was pretty good. I had a hanger steak which was perfect temp and well executed and the Mrs had a giant chunk of chicken which was a bit bland and not well portioned. Our server was polite, attentive and what would be expected from fine dining. Cleanliness was atrocious. The bathrooms had glass top sink pedestals which looked like they had been wipe down with dirty rag and our plates had spots all over them. If you are going to charge $300 plus for dinner for two your environment better reflect a higher standard. Hard to believe a 5 star hotel has such low standards for cleanliness.
The food was terrible. The duck confit tasted like tuna salad. How is that even possible!? The tasting menu had venison on it for 2 of the courses. Why? Did someone order too much or was it going bad? Who’s letting these items onto the menus without taste testing or approval. The Broadmoor has better standards than this.
Disappointed, there's a new chef so the taste of the dishes are not as good as the last chef's. It was not busy, yet it took a long time to receive each coarse. We finally got the main dish over an hour later. Our waiter was busy cleaning other tables rather than attending to our needs and failed to inform us on why the dishes were so late. On the up side, the dishes were pretty and the food portion had increased which was good as we normally ordered more side dishes to get full. I loved their bread & mussels, but now the bread is doughy and lacks the taste it once had and the mussels' sauce are not as tasty as it was before. Overall, we love the setting & eumbinance of this resturant; the head waiter is fantastic.
Lovely dinner and gracious service.
Just shy of great.
This was our 2nd dinner at The Broadmoor Hotel. The contemporary cuisine is seasonally fresh and originally presented. We opted for the 5 course tasting menu and were blown away by the food and wine pairings! The sommelier enhanced the evening.
Nice atmosphere, good food and excellent cocktails!
Great food with beautiful presentation. Nice place for a romantic dinner or for entertaining clients.
Amazing food! Super clean store, friendly staff, great service!
Perfect
The Summit has been hit or miss over the years, but it's been very good the last few times we've been there. Would like better menu selection, but service and food have improved.
The drinks are overpriced and not potent at all.
Beautiful
We went there for our 28th anniversary. We had high hopes due to the ratings. When I checked the menu online prior it listed 6 oysters for $13.00. We had pre decided to get the oysters as appetizer. When we ordered them they we were told they were 3.50$ a piece which made 6 oysters $21, almost twice as much. Online menu price is 13$ for 6 oyster and in restaurant menu says market price. That is BS and false advertising. We had the angry trout which was okay. Swimming in oil which does not do well with us. I am an excellent chef and when I go out, especially to a reataurant in a five star resort I expect nothing but the best. This was just okay. I had told them it was our 28th anniversary. They did give us a complimentary dessert with a nice presentation, but it was below expectatiins for such a establishment. The desert was a tiny 1 mini scoop of mint ice cream. While very good embarrassing to serve such a tiny surprise. Then an automatic 20% gratuity was added on. Ridigilous. This usually is only done with groups of 6 or more. Will not return.
Food and service were excellent steak was best I have had in years
Great place to eat with friends!
Good place if you want a fancy dinner with the family. Pretty expensive so be aware of that. Pretty good food.
Total dog food. WAY too expensive. I am at a loss as to explain why people like this place.
Great place
Very poor service! Waited over one hour and were told we could sit at the bar.
Great!
Below average food at well above average prices, served at tepid temps. Pretentious and smug staff. Not up to the standards of the Broadmoor.
Quiet dinner spot in nice setting.
The food was delicious. The service was outstanding. And the wine pairings were perfect! We celebrated Valentine's day here early and it was an amazing evening. We had drinks at the bar before and after dinner. Their Harvest Old Fashioned tastes like the holidays and is wonderful. I had a standard old fashioned and it was also great. We cost to do the testing menu and were not disappointed! I only got a picture of the first course, lobster salad, but every course looked and tasted delicious!
Great place to eat
Great food and fantastic wine selection.
Fabulous Place= Great Food and Service!
Great place to dine specially with family and friends, outstanding ambience, wine tasting was good, food was too good, order chefs tasting here which tastes incredible with some classic twist!!!!
Fascinating Menu. I had the desire to try most all dishes. Wine was delicately delicious. The bartender was very knowledgeable and polite. Flavors I have not tasted before. I had half a dozen oysters and a dish called Angry Trout. Great dish. It is shaping up to be a great evening!
Great food and service!!!
A fine restaurant. The tasting menu left a little to be desired considering the cost per person. If I were to go again, I'd order off the menu instead of doing prix fixe. Overall though I'd like to see something exciting from a tasting menu.
We enjoyed a few cocktails at the bar before we were sat for dinner. The Winston Churchill Manhattan was out of this world -- definitely the best Manhattan on the resort! The bartenders were top notch and provided great recommendations. Dinner was excellent -- service and food were both what we'd expect from the Broadmoor. From the huge mussels we shared to the perfectly seared scallops and prepared filet, dinner was delicious.
Fantastic American food and friendly service.
The atmosphere was great when I went a few weeks ago. My food was good but it took a really long time to come out. My boyfriend ordered a steak medium rare and it came out very pink. They took a portion off of our check- other than that, great place to dine!
Great service.. Excellent food and fantastic wine selection... Not to mention the house drinks... A+
Food just missed the mark. We went for my birthday. We ordered four courses. Each of us said the same thing it was missing something in each dish. Restaurant was busy and the acoustics made it loud. Staff was friendly . Service was good.
The decor was the only thing nice about my experience dinning here. Extremely small food portions, bland food. Will not be going back.
Good
Most the people that put 5 stars on here are just people the owner os friends with
A wonderful spot for dinner! Alexis was a wonderful waitress and made our evening spectacular!
Fabulous, unique food in a beautiful setting with wonderful service.
Excellent, the food the staff everything
Fantastic.
As delightful a restaurant as you can expect from a place called summit.
My husband and I went there today for our anniversary and my birthday we chose the 5 course dinner it was amazing really delicious and the waiter Chris was very friendly top notch very knowledgeable and super helpful we will definitely go again
One of the top 10 best dining experiences of my life. We had the hamachi crudo appetizer, the lobster bisque (best I've ever had!), I had the angry trout (AMAZING) and my husband had the hanger steak which he also enjoyed, and finished with the chocolate souffle. The service was excellent and prices were very reasonable for fine dining. We will definitely be back.
Fine dining, great staff. A little noisey.
Request Matthew. He's an awesome waiter who is knowledgeable, attentive and makes you feel at home.
Delicious, upscale, high class restaurant. Staff is very knowledgeable, professional and proficient with the menu. If you're in Colorado Springs you should definitely go to the Summit! Every detail has been well planned and executed!
20% service charge if you are not a hotel guest at the broadmpor hotel!! what a rip off.
Wonderful food and great service! Definitely a high end experience! Prices are high but you get what you pay for! Wonderful time.
My husband and I celebrated our 9th anniversary there on the 19th. I enjoyed our experience, the staff was good to us. The food from the caesar salad to the snapper everything was so good!
The private dining room was perfect for our group. Superb service and great atmoshphere. Typical Broadmoor.
Why have to have a " standard" and "seasonal" menu. shouldn't everything be pretty much seasonal? Also the seasonal menu only changes twice per year, how can a menu have fresh, season food for 6 months?
Great ambiance, excellent staff. My meal was delicious. I ordered the pork tenderloin with brussel sprouts. The pork was cooked to perfection and the brussel sprouts were lightly grilled and tasted great. My friend ordered scallops with risotto and she said they were both overly salty. As we drove up to the Summit we were greeted by the valet, the doors were opened for us and we were welcomed into the restaurant. The valet parking was complimentary. The maitre d and the hostess were very accommodating, although we did not have a reservation. We were immmediately greated by our server and offered selections of water and then we were given the menu. After looking over the wines, cocktails, first, second and third courses we had some questions which our server Chris gladly answered. We ordered Moscato which was incredibly crisp, sweet and bubbly in other words absolutely delicious. Our salad and bread came out relatively quickly but we did have to wait a little while for a meal. The wait was not unnecessarily long and it was well worth it because my food tasted delicious. However, my meal was tepid and I had to send it back to be warmed up. When it was brought back out to me, I was told it had been replated because they did not want to overcook the pork tenderloin. The flavor was incredible I enjoyed my meal immensely. I would order it again. The side dishes were very tasty, especially the root vegetable side. Overall our dining experience was very pleasant. The service was great, the food was good and any issues were quickly addressed. Now back to my friends salty scallops and risotto -- she never told the server that they were salty so they did not have a chance to address the issue. Based on how they addressed my issue, I can assume they have fixed my friend order to her satisfaction. I look forward to visiting Summit again.
Had a great meal with colleagues and everyone seemed to really enjoy their dish from the steak to the trout to the salmon. The setting was contemporary yet classy and the bar staff was especially attentive and knowledgeable
It was good, not the best in the Springs. Nice place for a dinner if you are in the Southwest part of town.
Great food, was very pleased with the service as well.
Very good food, the restaurant is absolutely beautiful.
The Summit is a great upscale restaurant on The Broadmoor grounds. The wine and beer list was very tasteful, the food the very delicious and the service was fantastic and there were always very on top of all the details of your meal.
Great restaurant, awesome ambience and great service.
Great restaurants
Good food, good service, great experience. Try the charred broccolini, cocktails, and lobster bisque. Had the beef tenderloin special which was great. Gluten free accommodations, friendly and helpful staff.
FAB, we only had cocktails! Loved my Lemon Drop, taste was perfection. Elegant presentation! Class, we took our drinks to the library. Fun!
Exceptional service and food. A must if you are looking for a ritzy, upscale dinning experience.
