Tia (i hope i spelled that right) is an amazing waitress. This was our first time ever at Stoney's. We are notoriously the "regulars" type, and we live a block away. We will definitely be coming back. Even though the menu is largely bar food, it was delicious. Tia had great suggestions, answered all of our questions and informed us on happy hour. She was extremely accommodating and attentive and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed this place! Found a private corner and watched the Cardinals on our own big screen, hubby got endless wings (tasty!) for a decent price and stuffed himself, I got an actually tasty veggie burger. Waitress was attentive and friendly! Paid $5 for a 24 ounce happy hour blah beer (Coors?) that we nursed the whole time. Was a busy, large, hopping place but not overwhelming. Try it!

This place has it all! Multiple stages, tons of screens, live sports and trivia, a great draft selection and a fantastic happy hour. Buy one get one free beers and ENDLESS WINGS! The staff treats you nicely, and the amplitude of rooms and vibes will suit everyone's needs. Worth a stop in, and outside a small group can even play cornhole!

We love Stoney's! As far as sports bars go, this one is top notch. My husband is an OU transplant, so we come here all the time to have fun watching games with the OU club. Their drink specials are great, the food is really quality for a bar joint, and there is plenty of room to spread out in one of their many books and crannies. They've got a 4 TVs on every wall! The service has always been friendly even when it's really crowded. Last time we went we got the Lincoln Reiley rolls which were ok, but the tots are suuper yummy! They've got really cheap Coors and $5 Deep Eddy which I'm a fan of. They also do a lot of trivia and fun events throughout the week. This place is always worth a stop!

I walked into this place and no one was worried about anything but there fun. An noted at you an be down he j judge you. The staff I came in contact with were service pros that were good at there job and loved it. The happy hour pricing for drinks is great! I tried some of the food which I didnt particularly enjoy, but we were able to sit on the front patio with our dog and watch some games on the TV from there. There is a garage style window which was great.

Huge bar, plenty of games, good beer and bar food. Our bartender last night was super sweet. She gave us some amazing recommendations on what to do / where to go - we took all of them and had an absolute blast in the city because of it. Big kudos to her!

The space is cool but almost everytime we've been here, we've encountered rude bartenders. During Westword Music Showcase, the male behind the bar in the main stage was not listening to patrons and just generally appeared to not want to be there. Three stars because STONEYS brings in good talent consistently.

Came here before a show. We stood at the bar for 15 minutes and was not acknowledged so we left. We ended up running into a girl who mentioned the bartenders usually only cater to their regulars.

Great atmosphere but a hit or miss at times with service. Foods par for the course. If you're looking for solely football on a Thursday night you have to not mind trivia. Great for off season to keep you entertained but not so much during season. At least during preseason the couple times I went on a Thursday. Definitely a Saints bar. Fun time.

I was there for the underwear run and I had to leave early because my stomach was upset and whoever stocked the men's room jammed the toilet paper dispenser to where nothing was coming out, and the lock to the stall is broken. Very poor planning from your staff, especially for a big event like this that you've been aware of for MONTHS. I hope next year the underwear run picks a better venue to host them. (Edit) It was actually a great day and a fun run until I had to use your restroom and couldn't get any toilet paper because it was jammed (so yes, overstocking is an issue) and people kept walking in on me because your lock was broken. The rating is going to stay at one star since management here doesn't know how to take responsibility for their facilities and tries to turn it around on guest perception instead of reality.

We loved stopping in here. They had all sports channels you can imagine, many TVs and a good pub variety menu. The beer selection was decent, not a lot of tapas but they also have beer and cans. The service was friendly.

Went for an event. Food was bar food but exactly what you want, greasy and delicious. Was there for happy hour which is buy one get one beers which was awesome. Pretty good draft beer selection too.

Drinks are bad. Service is worse. Ordered a $6 drink and bartender disappeared when I gave him a $10. I had no intention of leaving a $4 tip when it took so long to get my drink. No servers on that side until 5pm, what??? What kind of restaurant is this? We had a happy hour party of about 30 people and they could have made some money!

Decent food, nice people, chill atmosphere, but it's not as clean as I would prefer. I almost gave it four stars, but the new Stoney's closer to Colorado owns that 4-star spot for just being cleaner. Some people think the original is more authentic. If that's a phrase you would use for a restaurant, you would like this one better than the new one.

In the past the food wasn't so great and the place was a bit rough but this place has really came around and I've greatly enjoyed my experiences there lately. Fantastic wings and food overall and a churro ice cream sandwich that's not to be missed. Great place to watch a game or a fight and hang out with a group of friends

Amazing KU bar in Denver. We were there for a watch party, the bar was fun and upbeat the staff was friendly, they had a wide variety of beers and cocktails. And the food was awesome I had the sliders and I would recommend them to anyone! They have tons of TVs and a lot of seating. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the Denver area.

I've only been here once but definitely plan on going back. Our server Jake was awesome and the atmosphere was fun. They have good drinks and Wednesdays are all you can eat hot wings for around $13.

Love this place! Their wings are absolutely to die for. Their house made dry rub is my favorite. The also grow and pickle their own jalapenos, which are delicious on their giant loaded down nachos. I like to eat on the patio when whether permits. They have games to play and there's a bit of a privacy fence, so you don't feel like your on a busy street at all. Feels more like your best friend's back yard.

Pretty much my favorite hangout! Friendly staff, great all day happy hour Monday through Friday. Food menu could use some work - more snack options and veggie options would be great. I stay away for all the events bc it's just too crowded for my taste but if that's your thing def hit up Stoney's on the event nights! One of my favorite places in cap hill.

Went for all you can eat wings and it seemed like our server ignored us on purpose so we couldn't eat as much wings.. after waiting 30 mins to order more wings, she stopped talking to her friend long enough to tell us it's now 10:03 and the kitchen is closed... in an hour and a half we had 3 rounds of wings at 4 wings a time. All you can eat turned into a dollar a wing and a waste of time

Love this place. Great KU bar. KU alumni in Denver, THIS IS YOUR BAR. They have delicious food selections and the prices are extremely reasonable. Multiple rooms with an abundance of TVs. Plenty of space to bring your whole crew and hang out for a few hours. Yard games in the summer. It's one of the great gems in Capitol Hill.

Poppin sports bar with good food and a great beer selection. Tons of screens to watch whichever game you are there for. Lots of variety from Basketball to Touring Car Racing. Typical sports bar seating along with an old cable car you can sit in. Arcade basket ball games and yard games outside. Despite my waitress dumping a shot for an Irish Car Bomb on my leg, she was awesome and was very nice (forgot her name but super cool).

We visited for the Browns vs Broncos game and had a great time here. Just a solid place to have some beers, watch some football and enjoy some consistent bar food. While it's nothing spectacular, it is spacious and the staff is great. I'd recommend going there!

I've been here for happy hour after work, and it was super packed, so I wasn't sure what to expect when stopping at Stoney's for a lunch meeting. The service was great. 2 for one drinks. A burger and tots. Plus they use the TouchTunes jukebox that I could choose songs from my phone. We will definitely be back for lunch!

Honestly I was a lil tipsy but I swear those were the best wings I've EVER EVER had. Place was slammed and still got our food quickly and right the first time. Zero complaints. Place was really fun. Will come back next time I'm in Denver for sure.

Unfortunaltey our experience at Stoney’s wasn’t so great. We arrived around 10 pm and chose a tale in the bar service area, which would’ve been perfectly fine if the bar service wasn’t below our expectations. Every time we went up to the bar to order we waited at least 10 minutes to order, with two bartenders behind the bar. No eye contact, no acknowledgment... nothing. Most of the food was good, except the chicken was rubbery. All in all the experience would’ve been much better if the service was faster.

We have had our company Christmas Party at Stoney's two consecutive years now. The staff has always provided great service and made sure everything is to our satisfaction. The food exceeded expectations and the drinks are reasonably priced. I also appreciate how the owner (Stoney) makes himself available and is very visible in the daily operations of the business. Dry tacos but good margaritas and good fried Mac and cheese bites I tried responding to the owners comment but it wouldn’t allow me, so here is more details. The chicken tasted like it was a few days old. The 2 star was also including the service as our server didn’t greet us until 10 minutes in. We had to go to the bar to order drinks. Hope this clears it up for you.

You're classic run on sports bar, great LED screens, with well-priced bourbon and whiskey choices. Buying a cocktail may be too expensive for many tastes, I would stick to just having a neat bourbon or whiskey!

A group of friends and I spent all of playoff hockey season at the bar and again came in for the Stanley cup final. Each time the service and food was great especially for how crowded it was. However, this rating is ONLY for the DJ that was (unfortunately) at every game. Not only was the DJ terrible (playing music when the game/commentary was on, poor choices of songs, playing Gloria BEFORE game time etc.) he was VERY unprofessional. After winning the cup several people approached the stage asking the DJ to put the TV sound back on to hear the ceremony to which he refused - despite the crowd eventually chanting/yelling for him to change it. This was followed by the DJ flipping off the crowd and continuing to yell back.... I’m not sure who this junior jock strap/hack job DJ is but he should not be allowed back to play in the future. Like ever.

Fun place if you're a KU basketball fan! THE place in Denver to gather for the games, this sprawling bar accommodates the large number of KU fans in Denver. The bar food is well above average. The spicy chicken sandwich was delicious - a big surprise given the ubiquitous chicken sandwich served at every bar. Staff were all friendly and high energy - never waited on a drink, even though the place was at capacity. Recommend!
