If you're a United fan then don't miss out this place to watch live football matches. Amazing ambiance and vibe. Definitely going to come again.
Great place friendly staff
Nice place to have drinks with friends
Great place for any fan of any soccer team to come watch a game. This place was packed during the World Cup. I highly recommend trying the chicken katsu burger if you're looking to get something to eat.
Watched Poland Columbia world cup game and it was really fun. Bar was packed, great atmosphere, food looked good
Cool bar, good beer selection. Plenty of tv’s
I recommend, we spent nice time.
Food is pretty good. Only reason not five stars, is because I feel like they cut the sweet potato fries pretty thin.
I love this bar. It is a manchester united bar. The people are friendly, the food and beer are good and the environment is just a good fun time. If your a united fan in ny you must visit this place
Go there if you don't want to cry by yourself watching a Giants game. You will find a shoulder everywhere in the bar. Side note: they got good veggie burger
One of my favorite sports bars in NYC
OFFICIAL BAR FOR BARCELONA FÚTBOL CLUB FANS. In this bar you always can watch the Barcelona games. It doesn't matter the hour and also they pass a lot of soccer games. There are a lot of Barcelona fans and you feel great there. In this occasion I ate this Phillly cheese steak sandwich with fries, it was ok you can eat their food without complain understanding you are in a bar to enjoy a game and maybe drink not for special food. The service was Good. The hit to the wallet for this sandwich is 10$. ... ---- See you soon in the another review @elmanudominguez (Instagram)
The food is great, great service, friendly staff just saw the Canelo vs GGG fight and an awesome place. Definitely recommend
The bartender was very nice, however the long delay of my dry wings and seasonless onion rings hurts this rating. Drink beer, but skip the food. Trust me.
Bar has European football games, cheap booze, and plenty of seating. All in all a really great combination of things.
Great place to watch live sports and as a Manchester United fan it's great to be in a place with other supporters like me
Good place, having two big bars is always great food is good also. Great place to watch sports!
Great game atmosphere but the service isn't up to par
Great space for Manchester United games. Absolute scenes
We're all 50 friends having fun and memorable time after marching for our lives on world pride. Service could be better but we still had a blast.
Get the chicken & waffles! It’s delicious
Best place for futbol (soccer)
Nowhere else to go as a United fan in New York! Last time I had been was over a year before and there was such a long queue to get in. However, to my surprise the bouncer recognised me and told me to wait and he'd make sure I got in. I always plan my trips to New York around catching a game here!
Meh. Reasonably priced food. Cool atmosphere. Great sports TVs. Bar service was pretty bad.
We came here to watch a World Cup match and had to show up at 8:30am for a 10am match if you wanted a seat but the environment was excellent. It was a packed house and the breakfast food was pretty good too. I would definitely recommend!
The steak taste perfect and perfectly cook an has an amazing flavor. They had 2 waitresses that was not pleasant by the way. Overall the location is nice and good comfort.
Good if you are a soccer fan who wants to watch specific games. They even broadcast the Dutch League from time to time.
The fries are amazing! The service was great too!!
Hit or miss for lunch. The kitchen seems quite slow. Good spot to catch a game and grab a beer. The staff is friendly and work there best. Good and large salad options!
I arrived a little after 2 pm on a Saturday. It was fairly empty at first, but more people came in as a soccer match was about to start. The service was absolutely atrocious. It took maybe 25-30 minutes to get our food (2 brunch items), and the server did not check on us during that entire period (not even a water refill). The food was mediocre. I had chicken and waffles. Portion size was a bit below average, which is fine for me, but I would expect it at least to taste pretty good. Anyway, it’s probably a fine place to watch a game and have a drink at the bar, but I don’t recommend brunch or other meals here with table service.
Best place for Barcelona fans. You will enjoy it to the core. I was there for Bacelona vs Real Madrid and it was amazing. Bdw keep in mind that whenever there is a big match of Barcelona they usually take in only the penya Barcelona nyc members. It's a 35 dollar membership fee for a season but it is totally worth it. The place was very crowded instead of that the orders came in very fast. Do try the Smith hall lager it's subtle in taste.
The security guard at the door was quite disrespectful. It is a shame. I was about to enter with my wife to watch a game. There are other ways to talk to the customer that the place have reached its maximum capacity. I will necer go back to this place.
Great location to watch fitba (soccer) and the Jameson wings are worth trying
Drinks were good.Great service.
Great place for watching soccer games. Food is not that good though and service is slow even before it's full.
Great sports bar nice breakfast nd d chicken wings r so good
Cool sports bar with a good atmosphere, great spot to catch a game. It’s most lively for soccer, but watching anything here doesn’t disappoint. Awesome selection of beer, good food, and great service. Bartenders and hostesses are all very friendly and helpful, and great to chat with when it’s not as busy.
Watched Haiti defeat Costa Rica 2-1 there. Awesome. Had a blast.
I had never been here before and only went for a New York Red bulls even for rivalry week. Outside of all of the event decorations and other going on, which were nice, the bar itself is pretty solid. They had a good selection of bar eats, the beer selection was solid and the bartender was knowledgeable about the in house beers and friendly. I will be sure to go back again when I am in the area and need a drink or if I am not in the area but close enough and need a drink.
Great food and drinks but the best thing is the way they take care of their regulars and fan groups here. Bayern fans especially will feel at home here
This classic Irish pub is second incarnation of Smithfield. When they had to close their doors at the original location it was a sad day. But this “new” location brought most of the amazing food with it minus the foie gras burger but nothing on the menu is bad. Chopped salad, quinoa burger, regular burger, chicken and waffles, it’s all great. Plenty of space and not pretentious at all compared to some of the other bars in this area. Not many GF options but what you can eat is amazing!!! Wish they carried GF buns, it would make a world of difference for me at least
Great place to watch football / soccer (especially if a west ham fan)
Watched United beat Spurs and got high as a kite with fellow reds! United!
Nothing but memories are made here. Fast service and fair prices.
Great for bar food, but not for family. The food was good.
If you’re a united fan, and it’s a match day... it’s a absolute no brainier. Big shoutout to Brendan, who was a great barman.
Thought this would be a good place to watch football. It was not. There were TVs that no one was watching that they wouldn’t change to another game. Unless you happen to be a fan of a random team that they lock a TV onto, I would try to find another place to watch football.
Great for enjoying football (soccer) with fellow fans.
Great veggie burgers & service
I wandered in here looking for brunch with my fiancé. Saw the brunch menu and it looked good. We had no clue it was a soccer pub until we walked in. It was Saturday at 10 and premier league matches were on. What a great time! Really fun and somewhat rowdy crowd. The brunch was delicious and quick considering how crowded it was.
Nice bartender and fair drink prices.
Good atmosphere for football/soccer fans. Very friendly serving staff and some really tasty food. Definitely worth a visit again.
Great bar and the official supporters bar for the American outlaws NYC chapter. Came to see a US game and they had it playing on all the TV's. Be sure to get the candied bacon as it's a must! We also had the Jameson wings and they were great too!
Great food, friendly service, nice atmosphere, good for watching sport
The food was good the atmosphere was great
Decent food and beer selection. Service also good. Typical pub grub selection. Would definitely recommend the chicken Katsu burger. Super unique and tasty! Had the Mac and cheese as well and it was average.
Great place to watch a football match on a Saturday morning. They do British bacon sandwiches. Happy hour after work is pretty good too - plenty of space to sit.
Large bar, good drink selection, decent food. Overall great evenojg
Great staff and good drinks I usually come here to watch the FC Barcelona games and the food and drinks are served quickly without losing it's quality
great brunch!
Great place to have a beer and watch a soccer game. Food is decent, the selection of beers however, is quite nice.
Nice place to watch sport games, however the music get really really loud on the evening and it gets hard to have a conversation. Food was great and copious though
Great place to watch utd in New York
I had an awesome time stopping here to watch the West Ham game during my trip to NYC, the NYC Hammers group definitely helped with the atmosphere since we were the biggest fan group in the place. Great atmosphere, if you are passing through town and want you see your team on the weekend, stop by here.
amazing place well done food one amazing night!
Great pub with plenty of atmosphere, good food, friendly staff with
Came here to catch a Barcelona game and I'm definitely coming back. The environment was lively and energetic. Plenty of TVs and space to move around. Great atmosphere overall and good selection of beers.
Some of my favorite wings in the city. Comes with a whiskey hot sauce. Has all the sports packages as well
Best place to watch soccer in New York City. They show all the games from all the leagues world wide! All lot of the teams fan clubs have their home here. Always a great atmosphere.
We chose this to watch the US world cup game. As vegans, it's hard to find sports bars that serve food that we can eat besides fries or a plain veggie burger (without the cheese). They really delivered!! There were a ton of options--the maple glaze tofu burger I had was super good. The atmosphere was great. Certainly a place we'll be coming back to for subsequent games or other meetups. Keep up the good work!!
MAGESSSSSTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERIAL PLACE & EVEN BETTER PEOPLE. THIS PLACE IS VALHALLA FOR PROPER FUTBOL FANS.
Awesome sports bar, friendly stuff
One of the best places to watch football (or soccer if you're American). Nice crowd, beers, and chicken wings
Perhaps one of the best places to watch a soccer game. This place is massive in contrast to other manhattan-neighboring bars. Their food is not the best, as would be expected from a bar scene. But the atmosphere is always fun, you can almost expect a tone of general understanding and appreciation for the game from anyone who comes to Smithfield Hall. It’s a place where all fans are welcomed and without penalty of exclusivity.
I ordered a Maker's Mark old fashioned and it was perfect. Service was prompt too.
Went here to meet up with the NYC Hammer's⚒️to watch the game made to feel welcome by everyone there. Had a great time and enjoyed the game. We opted for coffee as it was before noon, the coffee was good and hot☕ great place to watch The Irons play. #COYI
Best bar I've been anywhere in the world to watch European football. This place deserves more than 5 stars. Kevin is a top barman. This is also a great place for coffee and breakfast for the afternoon kick offs (3pm kick off is 10am in NYC). They have so many games on, I even managed to watch Wigan Athletic Vs Nottingham Forest here. Up the 'tics!
Came there to watch a Barcelona match and had a great time! The beers are a bit expensive but the experience was a lot of fun
Great spot to catch the Raptors game in NYC. The food is surprisingly good, the service was decent aside from a long wait for our food order. I would certainly go back, not too crowded and a lot of TV's to catch a game.
Amazing service.
Great bar! Bartender was awesome
Can't beat this place as far as the football games go. Highly recommended.
Nice large space with accessibility. Great place to watch UFC, boxing, etc. Staff are friendly and attentive. The food is delicious too.
Good sports bar, really helpful staff. Recommended.
We had a holiday party here and they couldn't be more accommodating and the space was great
Definitely one of the best bars in New York. And if you like to watch football, this is the place!!!
Great sports bar... Food is good, beer selection is incredible. The hostess was awesome, didn't get her name but she had a British Accent. Our server Hannah was the best. Ask for her she is amazing and an incredibly nice young lady.
Best soccer bar I've been to. There are two sides divded by a wall with bars on both sides. One side had EPL the other had Bundesliga. But both sides had plenty of games on including other leagues.
Great place to watch big UFC events. Lots of good ppl will turn up. Wide variety of beers as well
if you are a huge soccer fan this place is probably a dream. They open early for the games and place is packed with people very passionate for their teams. Bar is a nice size and lots of seating available. Gets packed for big games as expected
Food here is above average, as far as bar food goes. Bar is really spacious and not crowded. Drinks are inexpensive by NY standards. Overall, I enjoyed it more than some posh, overpriced places I've been to. More of a dive than a sports bar, this is a great place to meet friends and just chill. Excellent!
What an amazing environment to watch sports. The food is always good.
The staff is very friendly, however, the drinks are way too expensive for what they offer. I got served juice one time, got charged like $21, it was literally orange juice with .0001% vodka. Great people though.
Ordered a burger, with fries and they were both fantastic.
Food was yummy... Irish bartender was super funny and likeable. Only reason they dont get the extra star is bc we waited awhile bc the kitchen was backed up!
Food is okay, typical bar food. The service we had wasn't the best, but if you're not in a rush, it's fine.
Spacious, nice food, great service.
Nice spot for the beer + sports crowd. Especially if you’re a soccer fan.
Great food, great atmosphere and The place to watch Manchester United games.
From start to finish, this was an amazing pub experience. My bartender Tom introduced me to some locals and kept the drinks flowing. Will be back if I'm ever in NYC again!
Good bar. Great service ... nice clientele.
Good bar to watch sports, pretty bro-y though
Great bar, fun vibe. It is an English bar, so be prepared for a very crowded bar if there is a football match going
Great bar to watch games, great food too
Mediocre food, terrible service. So many bars in the area, why waste your time here?
Great spot for watch soccer The bartenders and prices are very nice
If your a Mufc fan in NYC this is the place to go great atmosphere, and Kevin the barman fantastic host funny guy.
A great sports bar and the "go to" for soccer. Great drinks. Great people. I am here at least a few times a month. Prices are okay for what you get. Good lunch time vibe.
Watched NCAA tournament there. Great atmosphere and massive draft beer selection
Saw Man U rek Chelsea. 5/5 would watch again. However, some broad kept talking about Liverpool but I won't rate the bar on her taste in teams.
Great English/sports bar located between Chelsea and Flat Iron. Go there all the time for happy hour after work and it is a perfect spot for beer and pub food
They respond to the weirdest request and show games on the screen in front of you.
Good local bar. Lots of screens. The food is good and drinks are quench thirsting.
Place was awesome to watch the game, the food is great and the customer service is also great. Recommend the fries, calimari, and onion rings if you're looking for some good foods to share.
Best place in NYC to catch a soccer game.
Unless you’re a manc, don’t go to this pub. I’ve been to Carragher’s and other Liverpool bars and they’ve allowed opposition fans to come in. However, this establishment will not let you in due to “security” reasons because the mancs they attract are unable to behave themselves. First of, we’re across the pond, so there’s no need to act like an idiot over a football match. Second, you’re missing out on a lot of customers.
This is for the bar side only The space quickly gets cramped and loud. This makes it hard to have a conversation so I always lose my voice when I come. The restaurant side seems much less annoying, though.
Very good food and friendly staff.
Great. Top beer with friendly staff and punters.
The right-after-work bar. It's dark and bar-e if you're looking for a place to watch a baseball, futbol or football game then this is the best place to go. It's conveniently located in Chelsea close to all office spaces around. The food is pretty good. The sweet potato fries are my favorite.
If you love soccer you gotta come here. Passionate fans from all around the world. I went to see Copa Libertadores, but they also played other leagues. Would come back!!
Here is the location for the official Penya Del Barça in NYC. Best place to watch any soccer games. It has more than 30 TVs so you won't miss a thing.
This isn’t our first time coming here. The first time we went to the bar and the bartender was really nice. Second time we came in we sat at the table. No waitress came to us until we said something to the bartender. So when the waitress finally came in. The tune of her voice was really rude and she doesn’t give no eye contact. She seem like she was in the hunger even thought it was fairly dead. (She is short long hair and somewhat chubby, big eyes) we went there yesterday 7/19 at 5:30pm. I feel like customer service is very important specially if you work as a waitress. The food was good, we got fries and pizza but less ketchup.
Fish and chips was great
Great spot to watch a game, especially soccer games. I usually come here for some beers and to watch champions league games. Great atmosphere and quick service even during busy times.
Awesome place. The staff is always trying to help you. Recommended 100%
I can't talk about the atmosphere during sport events because I went there when it was almost empty in the middle of the afternoon for lunch. But I have to say the food is awesome and the staff is really sweet and helping. I had ribs tacos which were absolutely delicious. I was astonished by how tasty it was! Same for the burgers. The quantity is also perfect (as a French I am not used to American huge portions). Prices are alright, I would even say rather cheap for NYC. It really was a nice surprise!
Great spot! We came for the NBA finals. The food is great, the service is good, and there are TVs everywhere! We recommend it.
Fun place to watch some EPL
If you are a Liverpool fan..dont spend your time and money here. We were turned away before the champions league semifinals vs Barcelona.
Big and loud sports bar. The drafts and bottles are a bit better than average, cocktails unimpressive. The food was decent, especially the Pat LaFrieda burgers and simple but surprisingly good guacamole. Good prices were a bit high for what you get though. Totally fine, but not my thing. I don't think I'll go back.
Good G&T, well balanced.
Great soccer bar. Bayern Munich fanclub watches games here.
Best Sportsbar in town. And home of NYC FC Bayern Fanclub.
Great sports bar. Fun ambiance. Youthful people. Delicious fries and good drinks. Really enjoyed it for a Wednesday night.
The food was delicious, and the service was good, but it was so loud in there that I couldn't have a conversation inside. Probably great for anyone looking for a rowdy time, but it's not for me
Great place if you want to hang out at a nice pub, watch some sport and grab some grub at a reasonable price.
Place to be if you want to watch football (yeah that's soccer according some people) in a nice bar with some good beers.
Brilliant atmosphere. I came all the way from New Haven. Missed a train. Cancelled three ubers. Finally got here. I am die hard United supporter. Even though we lost this trip was worth it. Ive finally found a decent place to watch matches.
Bartenders are the best - find Kevin
Great space. The wings here are A1. 10/10
Awesome place. And THE place if you’re Bayern Fan to watch soccer
Awesome bar, friendly and knowledgeable staff, Delicious food. Great place to watch Fútbol.
Good bar food but pricey. I loved the sweet potato fries. Fried perfectly crisp and tender inside.
They have a great DJ on Thursdays and Fridays.
Great location if you are a Bayern fan !! Need more German beer and food option
Friendly environment, good service, affordable prices and Barcelona games!
Service was slow...took 10 minutes to get served at a table...draft beer tasted funny...experience did not meet expectations.
Excellent food and service.
Barmaid (pregnant) not a smile, not any good advice, seriously...
Food was great quinoa mushrooms burger. Guacamole and chips was served tp me so fast waitress barely assisted me didnt even getnwater nor napkins .I was done on a sunday afternoon of football super fast ..makes me wonder about the food
Great beer choices. Good, varied food. Amusing friendly bartender. Good crowd. Europa cup games. A really good time
Met up with some friends and got some cheese fries and wings. The fries were good but the wings could have been better. Also, good if you’re looking for a sports bar where it doesn’t matter if it’s loud.
Is a marvelous place to watch games.
Great Service, Good beer and food selection, great sport bar
Perfect spot to watch a game, so many TVs and the menu looked good also.
Great atmosphere for a united game, plenty of screens and a good choice of beers on tap.
One if the better sports bars in NY for Monday Night Football
