The food is good, but the lady at the counter acts as if she is doing you a favor when you order. She needs to realize that there are several choices to choose from to eat and with her attitude she drives customers away. When you go to a restaurant, good food is a must, but if the service is bad; customers will not be coming back. Lady, get rid of the attitude and learn to greet the patrons. Keep in mind, this is where you make a living and the more business you get, the better living you'll make!!!

I always get the quarter chicken dark that comes with rice beans and tortilla bread onions a pepper for less than $10 which is a great bang for your buck because it's fast and it's fresh this location is usually pretty empty and looks pretty clean but it's old

Burrito are huge. Filled with a lot of rice very little chicken and only a spoon full of chilli on top. I definitely would not call it smothered. Overall I thought it had very little flavor and it was a horrible burrito.

I waited for 15 minutes at the register for them to take my order. The employee just kept walking around like she didn't see me there. Great food but horrible customer service. This place lacks of good employees.

I went in today and when I was eating I see this guy outside in the parking lot cleaning my car. Why would he do that without asking. When I questioned the staff they simply said they had nothing to do with it, but yet he is allowed into the bathroom and inside the restaurat. So disappointed as I was unable to enjoy my food and deal with this ramdom guy which the staff seems to know washing my car with dirty water and probably scratching my new car. I dont see any issue with people trying to make a living, but ask before you start doing something you were not given permission to do. How upseting

Was searching for an el pollo loco and found this place. Customer service was terrible. Prices are too high. When you order a whole chicken you do not get a whole chicken, you get breast pieces cut in half, and drum sticks. no wings or theighs either. This place sucks majorly compared to El pollo loco. I was very disappointed and will never go back here. Why is there no more El pollo loco in Denver?

It was alright. The lady taking our order didnt do a very good job and messed it up 3x. We ended up going with a whole chicken. The chicken skin was pretty salty and the meat below that had almost no flavor, luckily the tortillas were pretty decent and there to save the day.

I love the wings but feel certain individuals have issues with race. Idk what they're doing to my food. Always 20-25 minute wait time. 4 people after me, separate orders, all already gone. Took almost 5 minutes after I ordered before it was even requested. This is the norm for me at this location. Others are too far away, sooooooo, I tolerate occasionally. Apparently tonight not only did they take care of another wing order after mine first, they put the sauce on instead of on the side as I requested. Guess another half hour wait. 838 now. Let's see how long.

I went in..ordered a 24 piece. Hot wings. On the wall when u first walk in price says, $14.99. but was charged $17.99. when I asked why was I charged $3 difference, I was told that there is a different price on the board damn near on the ceiling. I was going to go ahead and purchase the chicken still, but the guy that was there cooking was very rude and all I was trying to do was get a better understanding as to why I was being charged more than what was posted on the wall when u first walk in. Then the guy asked me if I wanted my money back and I told him that he has to sell at the price posted. He said no..and said do u want your money back and I said yes...the guy was shaking his head the whole time...when all I wanted was to know why I was being charged $3 more than posted...I was still gonna buy it but the service was so unacceptable by the guy not the young lady at the register. I will never go back.

Been going to Rico Pollo locations for over 15 years. The one on Federal Blvd is amazing; this one is another story. The food here is alright comparitavely but the location is terrible. If you are from out of town or don't know the area, do not eat here. Smart criminals lurk in the parking lots, car thefts and break ins occur frequently, you will be bothered for money multiple times each visit. Overall, there are hundreds of places to eat in the city. Do not come here.

The chicken was good and tender & the place was clean, that's the only reason they are getting 1 stars. (They have to get min 1 star anyways, lucky) But the lady at the front didn't even acknowledge me while I was waiting to get my order taken, if anything, the man cooking smiled at me, which I appreciate since that's all I got. There are not much choices to their small menu. I ordered the smothered burrito which was NOT worth $7 & some change. They only have one chili to smother it with, and it's hot, I can't do too hot of chilli due to stomach issues, but got stuck with it. Everything else in the burrito was ok, but not anything worth $7+, if I could, I would of got my money back right away. Never eating here again, and deff not recommending it to anyone!
