We had the most enjoyable dinner at Relish on our stay in Breckenridge this past week. We enjoyed the outdoor terrace overlooking the river. Our server Kelly was attentive, friendly and really made sure our evening was picture perfect. Each of the four entrees at our table were sampled and devoured. We tried the buffalo, arctic Char, Wagyu beef and lamb. I’ll happily return next time I’m in Breck.

Normally I would give it a 5 I have been at relish regularly. It is a nice place to experience quality time with friends or family over a fine meal .The place is nice, the meny interesting and the foods taste very good .this time however my wife got sick within 30 min of leaving the restaurant .I ordered a NY strip as did our friend and we both judged the steack to be below standard .We hope that this review helps Relish to come back to the level of quality that is usual for the place. We don't mind to pay extra for a fine meal but this time we were disapointed

Omgoodness I just had the ABSOLUTE best tequila martini! Our wonderful bartender, John, made me the vanilla mint martini but substituted the vodka for this AMAZING tequila(see photo) hands down the BEST mixed cocktail I've EVER had!!!

Fantastic food and great service. If you have a special dietary need or special request they will always try to accommodate. The owners are super friendly and will know you by name if you're a regular. Fresh ingredients, mostly sourced locally make for a great food experience here.

Great experience! We had the Ahi Tuna over Brussels sprouts and the Horseradish crusted chicken over braised cabbage. The food was fresh, prepared perfectly and beautifully plated. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Def coming back!!

If I could give them 6 stars, hell... even 10, I would! To start off... our waiter, Rick, was absolutely amazing. He knew the menu well, recommended my new favorite beer (Calm Before the Storm) and tended to us perfectly. Next, the atmosphere was homey and comfortable. The perfect little restaurant to wind down the day. Then, of course, the FOOD!!! My wife and I started with the Lamb appetizer that was to die for. I ordered the Swordfish and my wife had the Black Angus Steak. Everything was cooked exactly as ordered and tasted absolutely amazing! We will most definitely return to our new FAVORITE restaurant and highly recommend you give them a try!

We were in Breckenridge for our honeymoon and this was easily our favorite restaurant while in town. Our waitress was so sweet and brought us champagne to celebrate. Great wine selection, great food, amazing dessert. The staff do such a great job helping each other out. Every time someone else came by our table, they were just as friendly as the last. Will be recommending this spot to friends and family!

The location is lovely with a nice view of the plaza but there isn’t really a waiting area if the bar is full and your table isn’t ready. We had a last reservation, 8:45 pm and waiting 20 minutes for our table which would have been fine had we had someplace other than the stairs to hang out. Our waitress was AMAZING. She truly made the meal and we just enjoyed her presence and energy! Apps: Salad with Green Goddess dressing, was good but croutons were too salty; escargot was lovely; shishito peppers could have used a touch more salt and char for my taste; sea scallop carpaccio was perfect! As was the fried quail Mains: I was very excited to the duck breast, and the duck confit was fantastic. The breast however didn’t have a great rendering on the fat cap and the skin wasn’t crispy. Would love to have seen this rendered down more. Summer crab dish had a great soft shell crab and however the crab cake could have used with more meat (would have paid more for the dish if it was a lumpier crab cake). The chocolate gelato was awesome as was the peach cobbler. Will visit again, but try different dishes next time.

Relish is one of the best all around restaurants I've ever been to. The wine list and beer menu are both outstanding, and the crafted cocktails are always delicious and well thought out. Beyond the drinks the food is what makes this place special. All the dishes are executed to perfection and the flavors are always balanced. The price isn't an issue when you are getting the quality of product they put out here. Make your reservations ahead of time, this place is popular. Maybe you can ding the atmosphere, the last time I was there it was loud, but you tend to forget a lot of things once the food arrives. I could go on and on about the staff as well, but no one is reading anymore anyway. All you need to know is you need to go here.

Two small plates were great: the escargot and the tuna. We did not care for the crab ravioli. It was way too bready and short on the crab and shrimp filling. We enjoyed our entrees: Diver scallops which were cooked to perfection! And also the lamb shank was very flavorful.

Relish is very very good. There are a few things they could do better, but the service, food and setting are outstanding for the area. For our tastes the meat dishes were slightly under-seasoned. That said, the composition of flavors was unique and delicious. In addition, the escargot was outstanding and the baked Alaska desert was absolutely delicious. In our experience of a couple of months in Breckenridge trying as many restaurants as possible, this is our favorite.

Cashew chicken over angle hair pasta was so tasty. Chicken was moist and seasoned to perfection. My son enjoyed the Kafta Kabob. We shared the grilled eggplant. So yummy. We arrived 5 minutes before the kitchen closed and was very pleased to be seated in the cozy diningroom. I recommend this restaurant! It's ine of the best places in Grinnell!

My husband and I drive from Des Moines to go here, it is absolutely wonderful and the service is fantastic! We discovered this place in October of 2017 and fell in love with it! Every entree we have had is soooo good and the desserts are delicious! Plus the wine is great too! The steak is the best around! The food is so fresh and comes from mostly local sources. Kamal is so welcoming and we've always had excellent and friendly ! Can't wait for the next meal! I highly recommend eating here!

Relish is very very good. There are a few things they could do better, but the service, food and setting are outstanding for the area. For our tastes the meat dishes were slightly under-seasoned. That said, the composition of flavors was unique and delicious. In addition, the escargot was outstanding and the baked Alaska desert was absolutely delicious. In our experience of a couple of months in Breckenridge trying as many restaurants as possible, this is our favorite.

My wife and I went on a date here and (almost) the entire experience was exquisite. Our original table was in the back overlooking a tarp outside the window. Before our meal arrived the crowd thinned and we swapped to a table with a great view. The Mexican Blanket cocktail was tangy, smooth and it had a good kick. The food was off the charts. I wasn't a huge fan of the tuna martini, but our second app was excellent and the main dishes of salmon and scallops were amazing. I highly recommend the Japanese scallops. A patron leaving when we entered recommended the trout. Overall it was a wonderful cozy restaurant with unique and delicious food. Cheers to the chef!

I had a great meal. The service was attentive and genuine. Lots of interesting beers available, and a nice selection of wines by the glass. I had a mushroom, arugula and pancetta bisque, the lamb chop duo with a glass of healdsburg zinfandel, and an apple crisp and cappuccino for desert. (Roughly $65 pre tip.) Everything was well prepared. But, I thought the food was a bit simple for what was being presented and the price. For example, the acorn squash with the meal was just plain acorn squash. Nicely cooked, but just a 1/4 wedge of acorn squash. That being said, I would go back again, and I would recommend it to others. I'm happy that they focus on local, sustainable, seasonable produce and meats. Not everything on the menu fit that category, but it seems they're working to source local seasonal produce. I've never been to Breckenridge before, and I don't really know what the clientele is like or expects. But, it is not the same level of "excellent" rating that I would give for the better restaurants in NYC, LA, SF, DC, Chicago, New Orleans, etc.

We had so much trouble with our rental car all day and needed to get dinner and knew we were asking a lot to come just as they were closing, but they said, very honestly and happily, to take us at 5 minutes to close. Our server, Alicia, was amazing! So sweet and gifted us with a fabulous peach cobbler dessert after we told her we just got engaged. We made a new favorite place in Breckenridge.

The proteins and veggies are so well prepared they can stand on their own more. Warning: several dishes are served n bed of hot pepper oil, which we loved but some may not want this added zip, unless the can control the amount of heat they want. Delicious meal. Will b back.

You'll not find such unique food anywhere close to Grinnell. Great options for vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters alike. Make sure to save room for dessert! So many good places to go in Breck that you hate to go to the same place twice, but I would imagine we will be back. Two people with drinks, wine and full course will run about $200.00.

If you're vegan, this is the place to go in Grinnell. I've been here 3 times, and it gets better every time. We let the server know we were vegan, and the chef took care of us personally, offering us a special vegan dessert, a chocolate covered cherry truffle that was out of this world. You won't find it on the menu, so be sure to ask. I also love the curried vegetables with their light coconut flavor. The eggplant sandwich minus the cheese is also a good, economical option, but do add the optional roasted red peppers.

Skip dinner...seriously. Ordered the sampler, underseasoned and over garlic that it killed the flavor, eggplant was delicious. Our entrees were the burger Wellington and the chicken with sauteed spinach. The blue cheese in the Wellington was lovely. Ordered it medium and it came out rare. I sent it back, they broiled it and the center was still rare. The chicken was underseasoned and dry. The wait staff was wonderful and understanding. I spoke with the manager/owner and she was rude, defensive, and confrontational when she told me this was never an issue, disregarded my issues with the food and threatened to send out her chef husband. We also ordered an array of desserts and coffees which we devoured. We complimented her on them and she dismissed us. My rating goes to the taste of the desserts and our waiter Sami, the rest was not worth the trip by far.

Food is excellent. We were served quickly. The kitchen must be exceptionally run. Best of all the price very low for the experience.
